Ok, but there are more than 4 billion females on this planet, much more than males, why do we need even more of them? We'd have enough of them already!🤣
1402  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lightning Labs just made "Taproot Assets" v0.2 a BRC20 alternative. on: May 30, 2023, 03:23:01 AM
So, when you are using a taproot address, you are actually revealing your public key? Are we going backwards now?
1403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: May 29, 2023, 09:32:03 AM
Wow, look what I found!
Code:
3fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffaeabb739abd2280eeff497a3340d9050

Introducing N/4, or 25% of the whole key range, this one and the N/2 are really interesting keys, dive deeper on these 2 keys my fellow hunters! 😉

Update on my breakthroughs, I have been trying to figure out if there is a way to know which key is greater or smaller than our target key! So far the damn EC behaves the same no matter if your key is bigger or smaller, the only difference is the X coordinate of the result, so if you subtract a smaller key from a bigger key, or vice versa, the result is the same only different Y coordinate.😅

The author of the puzzle should come out and publicly solve the puzzle, the prize is not worth the effort. Also the quality of that picture is not helping.
1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: as a result of participating in bitcoin contests, I have a unique story. on: May 29, 2023, 12:27:49 AM
Why do people make something and call it pizza? By any chance didn't your friend tell you that is not actually a pizza?
1406  Other / Meta / Re: Did Laszlo Hanyecz exchange 40000 BTC for 8 pizzas, not 10000 BTC for 2 pizzas? on: May 25, 2023, 02:53:08 AM
Imagine what he feels whenever bitcoin pizza day is mentioned! At least I hope he is rich now other than not having thousands of bitcoins. This should be recorded on the book of guinness, bitcoin should be recorded there as well, where in the world can you pay 10,000 units of something for 30$ pizza and after 13 years you could still buy a pizza for 30$ but those 10,000 units worth more than $250 M.🤑

Wow, look what I found!  I found it using my phone, I also have another one on laptop.

Imagine my face when I realized they are both different keys.🤣
1408  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: concenate real transactions with forging transactions - here example on: May 25, 2023, 12:47:26 AM
Cool story bro! What is "concenate" and have you been able to loot anything yet or are you just talking?
1409  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hunter is 'shot dead by his own DOG on: May 24, 2023, 07:22:41 AM
Can you imagine! You are sitting and relaxing, suddenly a dog shots you dead! Wtf?

Hi, how can one make sure you are not keeping logs or are not working for any government or private organization? Maybe you should think about addressing those issues.

Not really no, I have zero interest in whatever related to theft, it will only bring fire into your life, not to mention thereafter.

So cool predictor! Can you guys predict the closest range to puzzle 125 please? Just for educational purposes (taking the coins I mean), I'm a bit (alot) noob when it comes to technicalities.😉

I just noticed, on the third Op post there is a ms windows coming soon! Haven't they come yet @Op? That's some legit viagra they use!🤣

1416  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: script for reducting nonces (r) in transactions for sell depends on bits:) on: May 22, 2023, 09:05:44 AM
You never answered, what is it used for? Why do we need to reduce transaction nonce? Maybe you should explain what is the use case of what you are selling! Reducing nonce of transaction is not a normal thing to do, good thing you people have no clue how EC works.😉
1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: May 22, 2023, 03:44:04 AM
I have been working on big numbers and public keys so much, now when I look at them, I'm just blank, totally with no idea what I'm looking at, now I understand why mathematicians are a bit off, they go crazy after a while.🤣
Need to rest to gain focus, this challenge is what I strive for.
1418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Bitcoin Wallets: A Thought Experiment on: May 20, 2023, 07:30:14 PM
So a quantum computer can "crack" private keys while the user is trying to operate the wallet and QKD can protect the user, right? How do they actually do it, is it through public keys by any chance or something else? If it is through password cracking, this topic should be discussed with password/safety developers of wallets. But if it is related directly to private keys, then what about pending transactions in  mempool? QKD can't protect the keys at that stage.

Ps, if it is open source, you should link to github, if it's not, then there is no clients around here for centralized third party security services!
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: May 20, 2023, 07:21:17 PM
Hello,

I just created a simple solo-pool to find puzzle 66.

It only works with BTC Puzzle 66. If you want to scan all private keys in puzzle 66; you need to do 36 quintillion scans in total. In case you do a random scan; previously generated private keys will be regenerated (random problem). This extends the scan time by x10.

Puzzle 66 HEX ranges as follows. It starts with 2 or 3. Any private key in this range is 17 characters long.

20000000000000000 to 3ffffffffffffffff

We take the first 7 characters and delete the rest for now. The result will be as follows.

2000000 to 3ffffff

We now have about 33 million possible private keys to search. All possible private keys are stored in the database. A random value will come up each time a scan job is called and will be marked as scanned when the scan is complete.

I can scan each key in about 10 minutes on NVIDIA 3090. This actually means about 1,1 trillion private keys. When the private key is scanned, it is marked as scanned. So it won't show up anymore.
So you only keep 33 m keys in a file and then search for what exactly? If you are searching small ranges, then you should  do it sequential. What is your speed in terms of keys/s ?

I did a quick calculus, I can generate 1 trillion every 12 hours, so 2 trillions per 24 hours, now if I run my laptop 24/7, I could find the key after 30,000 + years or so give or take! Do you think people will be using bitcoin by then? Because I don't wanna waste 30,000 years  for unsure future investment.😂

Reduce nonce of transaction to do what with them exactly?
