OP is inactive, this topic is not active anymore, did they get to rico? Anyone know if he is still alive or not?

You can find Rico on Discord https://discord.gg/AyEfZrY

Well, when you see him tell him we are still waiting for #120 private key, it's not cool to keep so many people waiting for so long, just dropping the key would be great!😉

Well, what you are earning by advertising a gambling service will buy you fire in life and there after, you shouldn't give them fire either. But you know, maybe some day you realize you are worth more than a few cents earned this way.

When you fuck around enough, you will find out! Lol, so I was playing with some tools and since I have no clue what I'm doing, I managed to find some twins for our beloved G. I call them alternative G spots. Funny they all have the same y coordinates.

@Op, you were going to buy a laptop with a GPU, what happened? Anyways, how come you have no GPU but have CPU? AFAIK, there are no CPU only systems for years, maybe I'm wrong though.

What is the subject of your test? Is it related to this challenge or just a random experiment? You could use test net coins as they were created for the sole purpose of experimenting with the network. Someone will surely send you what you asked though.😉
1468  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Reversible computing is the future. You need to know about this. on: May 03, 2023, 05:32:54 PM
Amazing, how can you read through ignored option? AFAIK, nobody quoted me, you are magic. Lol what is worthless is circcash and all other garbage coins out there.
You don't even know what a reversible computer actually is, you just resort to cussing and insulting because you have low self steam and think everybody dislikes you, hence your attitude  towards all community members is hostile, this could be the result of failing miserably to sell off your dead coin, but don't worry, maybe in another universe (which doesn't exist) you could find your luck and sell at least a single circcash just for the sake of appearances. Lol^256.
1469  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VanBitCracken - a program to use for 32 BTC challenge (supports RTX 30xx cards) on: May 03, 2023, 05:08:24 PM

For future use, F = 15, E = 14, D = 13, C = 12, B = 11, A = 10.

What about 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,?

Damn, this is more complicated than i thought it would be. I really didn't get it 100%%

Maybe because of the big numbers lol... Can you try it with a smaller puzzle? Maybe puzzle 64. F7051F27B09112D4. Please try step - by step .

Starting from 8000000000000000 and instanly Landing to F7051F27B09112D4.

And an example from puzzle 66 if possible too. What if the keys starts with 3? How the stride should look like? How about if the key starts with 2?

I am using clbitcrack. I have seen the source code, and i decided to develop my own stride function.. but i first need to fully understand it.

With the correct understanding of stride function and a little luck, puzzle 66 can be solved.`

EDITS: I will try your results after i go back home from work, and tell you if works.

0 is reverse of F, 1 is reverse of E, 2 is D, 3 is C, 4 is B, 5 is A, 6 is 9, 7 is 8, 8 is 7, 9 is 6, 10 is 16. 10 here is actually hex and not decimal, but decimal 10 is A.

It's a bit confusing I know, but think about it this way, we have 9 numbers with 0 we have 10 numbers in total and only six characters A-F, so 6, 7, 8 and 9 can not be represented by any hex characters, therefore from 0 to 5 we have to  mirror them with 6 hex characters.

First learn the above, now if you want to add a number to 8 in order to have F, since F is 15, you'd need to add 7.

If you add 8 to 8 you are adding 1 to 15 and because after F  (15) we have 16(0x10) you are actually adding another bit to your number.
Example you asked, if you wanna learn hexadecimal structure, just convert your big numbers to decimal and subtract 0x8000000000000000 from  0xF7051F27B09112D4, once you start treating them all as decimals you will see how easy it is to calculate the stride.

So you need to add 0x77051F27B09112D4   and if you change the last digit "4" to "5" the last digit above will turn to 9 because you are adding 5 to 4. Replacing 4 with E is adding 11 to 4 = 15 (0xF) you will have  0x77051F27B09112DF but adding 4 to E,  you will be adding 3 to it's left digit, e.g, adding this   0x77051F27B09112D4 to this>   0xF7051F27B09112DE will give you this :  0x77051F27B09112E2.

I'd advise not to read my post though, you will forget whatever you already knew. Lol
1470  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VanBitCracken - a program to use for 32 BTC challenge (supports RTX 30xx cards) on: May 03, 2023, 10:18:27 AM
Hello @WanderingPhilospher,

Thank you for being active lately and answering most people's question.

I have a question. I hope you can help me and give me the right explanation, because it needs calculations.

I'm trying to understand and learn stride function more and more and trying to see the exact differences between stride and random functions.

I would love to use puzzle #110 as an example. Puzzle 110's range is between 2000000000000000000000000000 - 4000000000000000000000000000

Real private key of #110: 35C0D7234DF7DEB0F20CF7062444

Can you show me the calculations steps that you perform to get that HEX stride to be able to instantly jump from starting key 2000000000000000000000000000 to exact 35C0D7234DF7DEB0F20CF7062444? This would be my wish.

Many thanks.
For future use, F = 15, E = 14, D = 13, C = 12, B = 11, A = 10.
Example: key = "AF4565DBBAE50C" Now how to use a stride with starting range of 10000000000000, you will add "9F4565DBBAE50C" As your stride and the 10000000000000 as your starting point to jump instantly to the point. Because you already have "1" as your start range, all you need to add to it is a "9". If your start point was "B" the key must either start with B or C or D or E or F, and if the key starts with "D" you'd need to add "2" as the first digit of your stride, so B + 2 = D. And A - 2 is 9. etc.

Take the first 2 digits, 20, replace them with 15, like this
15c0d7234df7deb0f20cf7062444 now add the starting range as your stride, 2000000000000000000000000000, however this is the case when you know the actual key beforehand, moreover if you set the above values you will instantly land on the key, problem is when you don't know the key, so setting any random stride is the same as just searching randomly, with random at least you have more chance, but trying different stride values could also increase your chance.

Btw, AFAIK, WP's tools have no stride function, which tool are you using?
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 8,000 bitcoin Lost because of the blue death screen. on: May 03, 2023, 09:52:35 AM
So anyone willing to help be aware.  Angry
Help with what exactly? It's a bought fake wallet with no actual private keys, I just don't understand why people keep such large amounts on a single exposed public key.

When you want to be your own bank, you should also do what bankers do, doing some work to keep the money safe, in bitcoin is as simple as holding the coins on a fresh address with no exposed public key. But we don't really know what has happened to some of these wallets and their owners.
1472  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Any ideas you can offer? on: May 03, 2023, 07:25:46 AM
I wonder what happened to all the thousands of world changing and groundbreaking ICO projects launched years ago promising to reach the moons?

I can't help it, but NFT's behave the same way as ICO's, there is no actual value but only a facade making them look interesting.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't spend my money on something which can be reproduced by anyone, and I wouldn't wanna pay for something that someone generated and could keep generating more.

Though if you could convince me with reason, as to why we need to pay any amount of money for pictures of monkeys? 🤣
1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: May 03, 2023, 07:10:50 AM
Without hints to the main key - only bruteforce!!! It's very sad!
What hint do you need more than having such amounts which are directly pointing to the exact bit range where the keys reside? It is a game and a test, we play this game and they use our feedback to analyze the system.

Have you missed the recent movements and the signs of improving the old tools to make them faster?
If it wasn't for the latest prize increase, we'd be scratching our heads and using the old stuff without any serious improvements being done.

Don't sit around and wait for others to come up with a solution, try 50 methods, if all of them failed try 50 more, we never achieve anything in life if we stop trying when we hit a dead end, finding a way around it is the challenge and that should be entertaining to find without frustration, don't worry no one is going to collect all the puzzles any time soon, we have time and we need to focus without stressing ourselves.😉
1474  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Reversible computing is the future. You need to know about this. on: May 03, 2023, 06:50:50 AM
So you will be using more storage/ RAM, but less energy? What is the trade off versus using more energy but less storage? And what is the overall energy cost to produce such reversible hardware versus traditional hardware?
Is it only good to reduce heat and energy consumption or would it also increase the speed of processing?

Buzzword: Ramputer. Lol.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: May 02, 2023, 07:02:27 PM

Did I forget to mention there is no possible way to determine any specific narrowed down range for an address, that is even if we know the exact start/ end range, what you can only do is to guess a small range and then trying to brute force it, doing that would be equal to searching half the previous puzzle's range, considering even if you could shrink the 66 range to 25%, you'd be searching half of 65's range.

I have looked at solved puzzles for weeks to find a pattern or to just reduce the search range for unsolved ones, I was able to reduce the range of the next puzzle by 10%, lol.

What you should know, I believe Satoshi placed the keys at least in 50% + of each range, which makes solving them counterproductive financially.
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: May 02, 2023, 09:17:21 AM

Why are you wasting your time on addresses and their 160 bit binary values? Don't you know an address does not exist in bitcoin related equations? An address is just a name base58 encoding gives us, a rmd160 is just a name public key hash gives us, public key hash is just a name public key gives us, public key is not a "name" given by private key.

That's the only mathematical relationship we should focus, leave the rest be, even if you manage to brute force 66, what about 67? so the main focus should be on public keys, because hash256, hash160, base58 etc are just distraction, they are the firewalls and you are trying to solve a 160 bit firewall to then reach a 256 bit firewall. Lol.
1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: May 01, 2023, 01:10:49 PM

Why you think no one didn't show up for years and now he moved some coins to raise the reward ?
.................
........................
they are sitting there only to control the security level.
He didn't show up to add more funds because there wasn't any serious people involved in the hunt, after asking him for a couple of month to add more funds in order to make it worth while, he nicely did so.

About someone sitting some where to control the security, I can think of 3 possible scenarios,
1- he is trying to show off, and test the skills of community members to see if some one can find a quick way to collect the coins or not, so it is an evaluation test for safety and reassurance for the world.

2- he already knows that there are some shortcuts to find the keys, by doing this he is trying to determine whether other people know about them or not.

3- he enjoys boasting and torturing us. 🤣

If the calculations of WP, are correct then solving 125 will require the same amount of work as solving 66, therefore no one will try addresses with no known public keys, note that solving 130 would require the same amount of work as brute forcing #68 I think?

So yeah.

Ps, I was thinking about 1000BTC in a single exposed public key in a high range, that would be a real safety check.Once again, there are many talented people lurking around these woods which are honest and not thieves, but if there is a very large incentive they could work 24/7 to eventually find a solution, without that large incentive, they won't spend all their time trying to steal coins from other people.

I would love to participate in such a big and difficult challenge personally.😉
1478  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin community splitting and two different Bitcoins existing at the same time on: May 01, 2023, 08:56:18 AM
We would discard/ throwaway the nonbelievers by their own hands, followers of the new garbage fork will do us bitcoiners a favor, as in bitcoin we don't need such garbage collectors.
If you think about it, each and every fork/split trimmed the useless branches from our healthy and green tree. Point being, such events will strengthen bitcoin. After all you can't tolerate heavy hits if you haven't been heat treated.😉
1479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: == Bitcoin challenge transaction: ~1000 BTC total bounty to solvers! ==UPDATED== on: May 01, 2023, 08:37:00 AM
If you guys are going for 125, then the rest of us should skip 125 and start working on 130. [insert skeleton meme behind a computer desk here], we could solve 130 when we are looking the same as our text meme. Lol
1480  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BitCrack - A tool for brute-forcing private keys on: April 30, 2023, 08:00:05 PM
It is important to note that brute-forcing Bitcoin private keys is not a legal activity and is also not ethical. The tool you have created can be used for illegal activities such as stealing funds from individuals or organizations, and it can also be used for unethical purposes such as compromising the security and privacy of individuals. Therefore, it is important to use your skills and knowledge for ethical and legal purposes only.
It's time to leave the basement and join the outside world, bitcoin is an open source technology using a publicly accessible elliptic curve, whole point of using EC is due to the difficulty of finding randomly generated big private keys.

However to demonstrate how difficult it actually is, allegedly @Satoshi himself organized a series of puzzles placing bitcoins in extremely easy bit ranges and after some times some people figured it out and started  to post     topics about the subject, it was originally around 32 bitcoins, then it was increased to 100, and  2 weeks ago he added around 900 more bitcoins totalling around 1000 BTC as a prize for solvers. It has been done with consent and is totally legal.

Do also note that brute forcing any large private key will take billions of years, and brute forcing a small key in a very very small range will take decades with many high end GPUs.

Further more, all the available "cracking" tools are inefficient as they are just not enough to pose any threat.

Ps, around these woods we operate by bit and x,y, we are alien to terms such as ethics. Lol.😉
