2041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 20, 2023, 06:53:24 AM
True it depends on your coin because Bitcoin and top coins like Ethereum or BNB are very suitable for long term investment,
so when we try to hold it in the long term of course it's not greed,
other than that storing shitcoin for a long time will only be a waste of time.
Not just your time will be wasted but also your money. Why invest in shitcoins if you can buy coins with potential to grow even it takes a long period to profit? The problem is many investors are still investing in shitcoins because they want to earn in a short period, so despite of the risk, they still blindy investing because of their greed. So the choice is up to us, it's our hard-earned money anyway that we'll going to invest.
some of those who trusted Shitcoin are the people with greedy attitude and mindset thinking that those coin can make them rich overnight in which mostly end up them being a loser and cry baby.
I believe that for them to succeed they must learn the hard ways.
correctly. if we realize that it is a fact that shitcoin is a coin that will only get a momentary profit and usually it is caused by hype. if a particular shitcoin doesn't get great hype, it's obviously just going to be 0.
This kind of thing is sometimes ignored by those who believe too much in shitcoin that it will soar like saving stones and hoping it will turn into gold.
like in the past few months there have been several shitcoins that are hype and are being talked about, at that time the prices became higher and starting today the prices started to dump. it has become one of the clear evidence that shitcoin is indeed not feasible for the long term and only for the short term or to get quick profits.
instant or overnight mindset, it must be avoided.
but we must admit that Shitcoin sometimes bringing  big return (but rarely lol) so we cannot blame others that trying their luck on it , though never that i become a greedy like that because I would rather invest in single coin such Bitcoin or Ethereum than risking my money in almost impossible task of gaining.
and also if we are going to check the data , only few shitcoin passes profit and almost everything losses.

Yes but the chances are very small to get big profits so I don't think shitcoin is the right choice if you aim to make big profits,
investing in top coins certainly makes much more sense to make profits,
obviously it all depends on the decision of each.
there is nothing big to lose if we will only invest small amount I mean just a chicken part of our money and try out chances to buy something we can afford to lose though it isnt advisable to invest in shitcoin yet I knew that there are some of us who truly trusted those coin for sometime now.
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: January 19, 2023, 02:30:53 AM
While the market is on a downward trend, Bitcoin the giant of the crypto market has seen a drastic drop, and other altcoins followed the same trend, will we be able to recover, another coin like Luna did a total crash which is so bad for investors. In this scenario, can we still trust a high and unpredictable volatile I investment such as altcoin in this bear season?
most of alt gonna survive but lot of them gonna dead when depp and long bear market hit them hard, but sometimes these dead coin revive again from grave when bullcycle almost hit peak, as we all know -90% doesnt mean good for investing, sometimes it takes another -90% from current bottom and -98-99% drop is normal for alt
and yes it can come back once there are willing whales or team that wanted to bring them grow for sole purpose of manipulation and getting investors money. and that 90% from dumping sometimes took more at least 95%.
had tried shitcoin , even meme coin and yes I am tired now and chooses to invest in ranking coins instead.

2043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: January 19, 2023, 01:16:21 AM
you definitely could choose both, most people who invests into bitcoin also invests in alts so that they could increase their returns, you simply allocated your small amount of money into alts and you're already have the chance of generating higher returns. It's just that simple, moreover if you already allocated most of your money in BTC, you could have the flexibility of moving over your investment in alts and doing it for short term.
also i don't get it why need to focus in either Bitcoin or Altcoin when the opportunity of gaining is on those both?

Bitcoin the safer and altcoins the fast moving .

I think what need to be established here is in which altcoins to put on and diversification for bitcoin will in place as well.
2044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: January 19, 2023, 01:02:09 AM
So if a casino accepts lower amounts they might see more gamblers from different countries who have less to spend and accrue more earnings that way.

Most casinos I believed do have a lower minimum deposit amount and users should have no problem dealing with it.

The question is, what range of amount is considered as a low amount? $5? $2? $1?

If these people will just deposit that kind of amount, better just try their luck, not on online casinos. The casino shouldn't adjust for anything regarding the minimum deposit amount if the set amount is kind of fair already. Again, as far as local fiat casinos are concerned, especially here, the average minimum deposit amount I'm seeing is around $3 to $4.

most crypto casinos that i've seen here has about $5 of min deposit, otherwise, check the ToS of the site and look for the min deposit/withdrawal section. because if you happen to deposit below their min deposit, it won't be credited or worse they will just collect the money.
but considering that idea isn't that bad at all I believe because the casino owners targeted bettors of all kind and not those who can afford they set deposit amount and besides there are many casino that also offers that low so maybe considering isn't that bad at all?
but year it is their business and its their way how to handle it.
2045  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maverick Games 🚀 BTC & USDT Sportsbook & Casino | Licensed & Regulated on: January 19, 2023, 12:17:14 AM
It must be my internet connection that the sportsbook page isn't loading well. It looks strange that you're already accepting USDT but have not added ETH on deposit options yet. Is that erc20 or trc20? I haven't check all your promotions and bonuses but I noticed from what I've seen that only KYC verified users are qualified? Is that the same for all?

We're hard at work adding ETH and even more currencies! We accept USDT on the erc20 blockchain Smiley
Players can deposit, place bets, and withdraw without having to provide KYC but yes our promotions are only available to verified players.

at least this is clearer that only the bonuses that needs to be verified account and not the totality of the playing in which this is best for you and the players like us who hates KYC specially being a new site.

Welcome to Bitcointalk and yes Please add Ethereum as sooner because I have been keeping my bitcoin and only altcoins that I have available to gamble for now.
2046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Online Gaming Competition for Gamblers on: January 18, 2023, 08:02:20 AM

But as it currently, the interest on both
-Decentralized games
-Wax blockchain
-The game itself
are all very low, so this explains why it looks as if the team behind the game arent or werent ready for the business.

Its because this is a gambling site and what OP is showing us is some sort of game that we are not familiar with, and this is something new even gamers will have to take some time to fully grasp the concept and how it works, we are accustomed seeing casino games and features on this section its better to move this topic on section frequented by gamers like the service section of the altcoin because this is not even a Bitcoin-based platform.
Am not sure if they are going to earn support from Bitcointalk because the team itself seems not willing to get us closer , the games they are providing isn't common and yes there are new games that gets our interests but at least from legit sites and not those new .
like you , i am not even familiar with this so yes lets not be fall from the traps inside and learn deeper before engaging.

But Welcome to the forum still .
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably fair games are not fair on: January 18, 2023, 07:48:06 AM
When you are losing then it would be impossible for you not to say up into your mind "arent these things totally fair?" its a very common question in mind specially when you are in a situation where you had bust all of your balance in a snap.Just like you on which im not really a fan on seeing and checking those long hex of numbers and letters just to make myself that convinced that they are fair.
Most sites do really show off about verifying those bet rolls but im not really that paying up attention whether they are really that fair or honest or not.
So its up to someone and its better to stick with those known and reputable ones to save up your time.
When we experience defeat, sometimes we will think that the casino is cheating on us so we experience that defeat. But actually, we have made mistakes and are not trying to prevent them from happening. But they can still research whether it is really fair or if there is cheating but it takes time to find out the truth. And it's better for us to just play gambling as usual without thinking about whether the casino is really fair or unfair because we will be obsessed with researching it and won't get the pleasure of gambling.
It is not all casino has that  mate, remember that there are also some BS casino that is here for scamming and cheating so yes they cannot provide truly probably fair , I even experience some casino in the past that has this attitude when I  long played winning but when I tried betting High? then i become a loser  Grin so let the us learn the site first before dealing and also try not to become a victim of those site by not listening to others comment and advices .

like the top post ? edit your title cause it sounds like a shill post not after being read , it looks like you are vouching for them lol.

But as you can see in the ANN thread of this site(in which you also put a post similar to this one) the site/team had not been answering every accusation towards them meaning that your fight is for nothing here but to let people Know how they works but not to take your money back.

like those hundred of accounts that seek for their Money back  , the Odd of getting is close to impossible.

sorry for your losses actually but nothing you can do but Move on.
2049  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom of the Bear Market...let's accumulate!! on: January 18, 2023, 05:17:05 AM

I also see this way that there are some indication that we are having way to 20k but still we are 1k away to take that price again.

but another FTX is dangerous to look at and hope not to another scam  Grin

i was expecting at least 25k for this small bull run , hope that we will cross at least before it happens to dump again while waiting for halving.

Who is accumulating and how much are you hoping to add to your stash this year?

I'm still accumulating and I'm not happy when bitcoin goes up and holds above $20k.
if you are not happy then best to buy more instead of not letting others selling their coins , some of them are loser in the past that only wanted to take out.

Soon our crypto casino Betcrypto.cr is going to be ready and no more KYC for anyone!
Try to put that on your Own ANN Thread but it is good to hear that you are a new casino and yeah not asking for KYC , lets see once there is a need for big withdrawal or those who win with luck if you will still not implement this KYC thing.

2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real most rewarding Crypto Casino? on: January 17, 2023, 04:59:26 AM
Affiliate links mostly work for the influencers and the content creators. Myself got a request to share affiliate link, watching my wager. Based on that i concluded that the whale gamblers will receive more affiliate request.

This is true. For just usual users, getting benefits from affiliate links seems hard and a big challenge.

For affiliate commissions to feel to the very extent of it, being popular is really one of the pre-requisites.

That's why it's only a few users there who really putting effort in getting the benefits affiliate commissions.
For those with many followers, giving affiliates in the description of each video will work well because many followers will see the videos one by one and those who have not registered will press the affiliate link button to register immediately.
But those who have just made a few videos and have few followers must work hard to spread their channel links on many websites to get more followers later.
And it's not easy to get a lot of followers but the results are worth it later.
And if the affiliate commission is also large, the streamers will get a lot of commissions from their followers who have joined.

that is the other side of  internet advantage to make money just by putting affiliate links but others use this to take advantage and they are using scam sites to lure victims.
this is why we must be aware of everything before dealing with them.
I hate to see those scam links lurking around my wall and I mostly blocked or ignore and never to follow.
2053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who makes such predictions? on: January 17, 2023, 04:30:09 AM
Many influencers on twitter always make predictions about the market, whatever technique is used will never be able to accurately guess the market conditions, what we do is simple, namely buying coins and then holding and selling just because we have made a profit.
we can have our own prediction mate , we are entitle to have or make our own but not to lure others but to let our self find better solution when there are dumping market like now? better to accumulate more than selling .
People love to manipulate markets its all about profits you know. Every coin holder I know in my office praise coins they hold. It can be good altcoins like Ethereum as well. But most people I see dream about hitting a million dollar level so they buy cheap low cap coins, they encourage others to buy that nonsense coin they picked from Twitter or something. Twitter especially lets people to do many weird claims indeed. Its manipulative place.
who else will support the coins we are keeping? of course it is us mate  Grin

like me , I am proud and hoping pump from my folio and yes trying to lure others buying those for the event coming like Halving .
2054  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 17, 2023, 04:15:08 AM
Always want bonuses, that keep up loyalty’s.
Such as reward for sign, % of cashback
And other cool bonuses.
does bonus really made us loyal? or it is about their capacity to keep our funds safer? and our account as well?  though big sites are already promising and giving bonuses all these years as I am also supporting my favorite sites about this but that does not stand compeltely of my loyalty instead because they are continuously answering my issues and they are providing safe activities in my gambling time.
so yeah bonus for me is just a Bonus that i can get from my gambling sites.
2055  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what price would you sell? on: January 17, 2023, 03:58:50 AM
I started accumulating Bitcoin after the June crash last year, my average buy is currently $17500.

I feel like it is a good time to be accumulating but also lately have been thinking it may be a while until it is worth selling.

I think Bitcoin will reach $100k maybe $150k next bull run in 2025 but feel that is not going to be enough for me to sell as I won't have anywhere near 1 full Bitcoin.

I invest in Bitcoin weekly but I also have other Altcoins I invest in so it is not a large amount I am able to put into Bitcoin right now.

I am thinking of just accumulating till 2029/2030 which should be the next bull run after 2025.

Hopefully by this point I will have close to 1 full Bitcoin and the price will be at least $250k which would then be worth selling to me.

You can't plan so accurately for so many years ahead. What we do know is that times like now are good, or better times to buy and bull markets to sell. You can accumulate and between what you accumulate and the revaluation make partial sales but always keep some bitcoin because if it continues as we expect it will be the most valuable asset on the face of the earth, and I am not just referring to it in the economic sense.

as it was showing good increase recently and accurately strong going up to more that 20% in just couple of days? yeah accumulating now is the best way to show our support and love for bitcoin.
I don't wanna ssume selling any time soon but once there is a great increase like 40k just these coming weeks? then i would rather selling and wait for another lower movement.
2056  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Jackbit.com | 🎰 Top Crypto Casino ⚽️ Sportsbook 🎲 Exclusive Mini-Games on: January 14, 2023, 07:57:51 AM
welcome to the bitcointalk forum, I just registered in this casino, I saw a lot of games that I'm not used to playing in the casino because I didn't find the game Crash there or I missed it, actually I would like it if there was a game there to test my little money to play  Wink

They have crash game but they name it "Dino". It is a modified crash game which looks very unique. Most crash game uses something like rocket or plane, but what they have is a dinosaurus. A running dinosaurus that will stop his running because of a meteor fall and hit his body.
I am also looking for crash and thanks for this , because if not tell here I will still looking at their site about the Jackbit.com Crash game.

wait will check this Dino game and wanna see that meteor falling .

the x1 withdrawl rollover is normal
but x3 its ridiculous
x3? that is so much as I have seen many for x1 but in this case? I'm afraid that I don't want dealing for now as withdrawal will be an issue .
2057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Times when I visit casinos Versus When I don't on: January 14, 2023, 03:48:11 AM
Hey, at least we have the same reason in choosing the time to play gambling and won't force ourselves to play gambling. We know that we really have to divide our time to do other activities and not just play gambling without stopping.
lol playing gambling without sopping shows how desperate a person is and how a loser he can be, imagine there are tons of things to do in life that is more valuable and worth? but they chooses to stay in gambling to lose?
Quote
Those are good tips for all of us so we don't get dissolved in gambling games. We know that it's all not worth doing, especially when we turn into gambling addiction and it will definitely destroy ourselves and those closest to us. This should be a lesson or at least a way for us to know when to gamble and when to avoid gambling.
it is worth doing if only spending a little time and money but collecting so much fun . consider gambling as a way to entertain our stressful life and not to make us millionaire in a short time.

What games are participating: Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, Sugar Rush, Release the Kraken 2, Money Train 3.

Thanks for posting it here, missed the promotion as I just got home and I am in the EST time zone currently. It is interesting in fact as you only need to wager the money 1x, to get the 20% bonus; hopefully they will redo one soon!
Yes this is an interesting bonus with only 1x wager requirement will get 20% of our deposit, from slot games eligible for this bonus I have never gotten anything sweet especially for sweet bonanza and sugar rush, and because this promotion has ended maybe in the future we will see duelbits often offer bonuses like this.
Duelbits continue to bring more and more bonuses with a little obligation in wagering , for years now we have seen many of those so lets wait for the next one , have not been actively betting in the last few weeks or at least month but keeps tracking what bonus given at the certain time for more happy and contented gaming experiences .
2060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 13, 2023, 03:49:47 AM
We do not have all the information, but we have to understand that gambling occur on digital platforms and that glitches might happen.

Let's take an example : You play a Slot with a Maximum payout of 30 000x and a maximum bet amount of $10.... so the maximum payout should be $300 000 ....but when you win with a glitch, it says $40 000 000 .....so in this case, the casino has a valid reason not to honor the payout, because it is way more than the maximum payout that this Slot can pay.

So some casinos are just looking for a reason not to pay.... and that is sad. (Mostly using the KYC or ToS to their advantage)  Roll Eyes

KYC is being used nowadays as an excuse not to pass on the winnings, but this excuse will not stand in court. But I agree with you on the machine malfunction part. It is impossible to win $40 million with a slot machine, as the maximum winning would be much smaller. But then, the casino handled this issue in a very unprofessional manner. They should have immediately informed the player rather than making her wait for an entire day after giving an impression that she won a very big reward. Also, they refused to settle it out of court.
seemingly that everyone here believes that it is malfunction ? (not counting those who does not truly understand Slot machine and still buy the Idea that this is a scam from casino) if this is at least 6 figures win? yeah I will trust this to happen but giving that it is about 40 million more? then I don't take this to be a legit win.
~snip~

"Must be 18yrs older to play"
"Malfunction voids all pay and play"

But the question now is, why allow users use the slot machine if truly it was malfunctioned? Because for the fact that users were allowed to use it, means they deserves their due rewards

Exactly.

How is malfunction proven?, can casinos basically say that any big jackpot is malfunction and get away with it?

This is madness really. If this is the case, then there's no point in gambling.
that is something to be answered perfectly , because why let that machine sit there knowing that it has an issue? or maybe they don't know that it has trouble till the bet happens.
