W tym momencie bot ma rangę Jr. Member więc obowiązują go ograniczenia związane z tą rangą. Musi odczekać około 8 sekund pomiędzy postami więc jeżeli dostaniesz więcej niż jedno powiadomienie to będą one stopniowo dodawane.


Ograniczenia i pomysły:

• Temat, w którym są dodawane powiadomienia nie może być ogłoszeniem ani bounty w celu zapobiegnięcia "odświeżaniu" tematu.
• W przyszłości aby otrzymywać powiadomienia od bota to będzie trzeba zdobyć kilka meritów

Przypadki użycia:

• zachowanie na przyszłość jakiegoś posta lub tematu
• wskazanie posta, który powinien zostać nagrodzony meritem
• zwrócenie czyjejś uwagi na konkretny post/temat

Uwaga:
Czasami bot może być wyłączony przez co możesz nie otrzymać powiadomienia na czas lub w ogóle.

TREZOR has just released another article whose aim is to warn users about possible phishing attacks. They managed to describe various dangers which every user might encounter at some point. I am not going to write TL;DR - every piece of information written there is important. Take advantage of built-in screen - check your receiving addresses and transactions before broadcasting them.

As for the Trezor model T, a bug which causes screen flickering will be fixed in the next software update.

You can extend your seed with a custom passphrase while creating a new wallet. Just click Options and select Extend this seed with custom words. After clicking next, you will have to input your additional word. Electrum warns user that it is not the same as encrypting the wallet file.

It possible to add 13th or 25th word which acts as a password without which you won't get access to your desired wallet (different word will cause generation of completely different addresses). However, it is not the same as wallet encryption available in Electrum (I am not sure about other clients because I haven't used any of them much).

Actually, that's not true. Since I haven't subscribed to the bot before and didn't want to create my own thread, I had to put subscribe instead of options in the subject. Your sentence would be true if I had been already using bot. Piggy pointed it out in his thread.

Do I have to create my own thread if I intend to use only Telegram bot? I have sent a message on both Telegram and bitcointalk and got no reply. I would appreciate if someone could either quote this post or mention my nickname to see if it is working properly.

Edit: It looks like I had to send a PM with subject subscribe instead of options. Thanks Loyce for quoting my post below. Got confirmation and notification from the bot after resending my message with the correct subject.

The problem is that the transaction fees have risen a lot due to decreasing Bitcoin price (people are trying to cash out before its value goes down too much). Here you can check the recommended fee (45 sat/b at the moment which is about 5 times more than what you have paid). If you have the latest version of Electrum (it looks like you do because of rbf), you can right click on your transaction and select Increase fee. You can also wait until it is confirmed but it can take a few days or weeks.

Electrum allows their users to see a list of addresses even if their private keys are kept on a hardware wallet. However, don't expect to be able to generate as many of them as you would like to. I guess it's not enabled by default so after you initialize your wallet, click View and select Show addresses.

Which version of Windows do you use? Windows 10 allows their users to enable Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL). Both of these projects should work without any problems on it.

You can't use Bitcoin Core without verifying every single block. Pruned mode in fact lets you save a lot of space but you still have to download old blocks and verify them before deleting. Consider using Electrum. It is a light client which gives you a full control over your private keys and doesn't force you to download any additional data. Most importantly, it supports SegWit so you can take advantage of lower fees. I have written two tutorials on how to use Electrum for beginners and advanced users.

Electrum has many advanced features, for example, coin control and supports the vast majority of hardware wallets.

As far as I remember, transactions are usually stuck in the mempool for 2 weeks or so. Unfortunately, transactions made on Bitcoin Core 0.14.0 can't be Replaced-By-Fee by default. You could try abandoning the transaction but it's a bit difficult and might be a bit risky. This article on Bitcoin wiki describes the whole process in an understandable way. It would have been much easier for you if you had upgraded your software.

Nie trzeba od razu pisać masy poradników. Ja od tego zacząłem, to fakt, ale jeżeli zerkniesz na historię mojego merita to zobaczysz, że ostatnio dostaję go za zwykłe posty, które w jakiś sposób pomagają komuś. Czasem zostaje pozytywnie zaskoczony czego przykładem może być ten post. Moim zdaniem nie zasługiwał nawet na jednego.

Coins are stored on the blockchain. Ledger Nano S (hardware wallet), Coinbase, Binance, Electron Cash and other wallets/exchanges store only private keys which are used for signing transactions. Since you have your seed, you can easily access those coins by selecting desired chain in the Electron Cash (more information here). The same applies to TREZOR users who don't have dedicated splitting tool due to lack of replay protection.

Your older transactions were confirmed faster because there were hardly any transactions awaiting confirmation. As I wrote above, there are currently 23 thousand transactions which are in the mempool.


Have you done it like it is described above? Using light client would be much faster for you since you are trying to spend all of your coins.

The transaction which you have sent pays 1 sat/byte fee which is not a lot considering the amount of transactions in the mempool (23 thousand). Your transaction will be eventually confirmed but it will take a lot of time. According to this page, 11 sat/byte should be enough if you want your transaction to be confirmed in the next few blocks. If you are not going to use that wallet anymore, you can download Electrum and import your private key there. The latest version should suggest a proper fee. It's a light client so you won't have to download much data.

Wszystko zależy od tego jak traktujesz Lightning Network. Dla mnie jest to sieć, która obecnie skupia się na mikropłatnościach. Deweloperzy narzucili użytkownikom limit wielkości kanału, a mimo to mamy trochę kanałów, które mają maksymalną pojemność (~0.16 BTC). Wiele mniejszych transakcji jest potwierdzania natychmiastowo za śmiesznie niską kwotę (mniej niż 1 grosz). Potrzebne jest jeszcze kilka lat aby to rozwiązanie zostało w pełni zaadoptowane przez użytkowników. Do artykułu odniosłem się tutaj.

TREZOR has nothing to do with implementing replay protection in any of these coins. The biggest problem are users who demand TREZOR to do something. They have published Hard Fork Advisory on their blog and that's the only thing they could do.

By the way, it is possible to run TREZOR emulator on a Raspberry Pi. Check out this article. The author used hardware similar to the one recommended by RaspiBlitz and it worked quite well. One should not store a lot of bitcoins on such setup.

Proposals which were accepted to the Lightning Network Specification 1.1 are available here. The most notable ones (for an average user) are dual funded channels + proper advertising of such channels, Replace-By-Fee for funding transaction (not available for uncooperative close for obvious reasons), channel splicing, multi-path payments, increased maxchannel capacity and hidden destinations. More information can be found in the link above.

There is nothing wrong with the article. Being online all the time is mandatory for receiving payments. There are still many channels which have low capacity. I am not surprised that payments higher than $200 fail. There are two reasons for that. The Lightning Network is still in an early state and people don't want to lose money. It was designed to handle mostly micro-transactions due to low transactions cost and their instant.


Just give it a few more months. Lightning Network Specification 1.1 is currently being written. I will write about it today in another thread.

That should be your last resort. I have just found instructions which helped some other user.


If this still doesn't work then try downloading the older version of Electrum just as I told you in my previous post (assuming that you have the latest one).
