Looks like now if Sepp Blatter remains president in the upcoming presidential election UEFA could pull out European teams from the next world cup in Russia and big sponsors like McDonalds, Visa and Adidas would reconsider their sponsorship deals.

I had the same email on Sunday to the email address associated with this forum it says from noreply@bitcointalk.org so assumed it was a service message sent from the forum to inform everyone about recent issues.

Also there were are no links to click so would presume it's safe.

Apart from the suggestions above some forum members will sell btc for Paypal with fees normally about 7.5% - 10% above bitstamp.

They will only usually trade with established members with good trust so your status and lack of trust will go against you.
