Stay away from those "arbitrage" sites. All of them are scams that steal your bitcoins!

In an unregulated market trust is king. Sadly in regulated market, it isn't by the looks of it ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Why are guys so paranoid on this board? If you are not trading in the millions of USD, then no one fkin cares about your 10kish stoploss order. Seriously...
There are lots of exchanges out there and some of them have very little volume. So I think this is actually pretty good advice considering how thin some of these markets are. Most of those small exchanges don't offer stop limits at all. Paranoid: If you trade at the big five, just use the API to program a bot to set a market order at a set price if a certain requirement is met.

How did this turn out? Did you sell before the big rise in price?

Feel free to post about the experience you had when trading with me. Thank you ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Regards, Twin

I am actually offering options that are backed by deposit at an escrow.
But the option you are proposing would be ridiculous expensive.
|
|
|
Let me rephrase the question. Is there any reason anybody would use escrow if the coin is already traded on an exchange? I assume that using an exchange eliminates the scam risk part, so it does not matter that it is irreversible. I know an exchange (like Mt Gox) can of course go out of business, but it seems like that risk is less than the risk of the escrow company going out of business.
High volume transactions are way cheaper than paying depositing , trading and withdrawal fee. All of that 2 times. Many escrows will offer a flat rate for deals.

So do not use the link if you do not like it, no problem with that. But you cannot tell me you have not tried any form of arbitrage so far, If it works in bunch of other markets, I really see no reason why it would not work in an extremely volatile market such as crypto.
I read the word arbitrage on this forum and guess who is around again... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

A year ago, you would have had 100 answers by now. The forum is full of jobless socialists now. I much prefered the days of jobless anarchists. DAMN ALT COINS!
Myself, I was 8 months from hearing about bitcoin. Bought my first btc at $5.50... and a few more in the $4 range before the price JUMPED on 4/20 that year.
You joined in summer 2012 and are talking about the good old days of this forum? Hahaha. Cute!

Yeah 17$ was sick. I buy your coins for 18$ so you don't have to suffer a 17$ price ever again!!!

Crypto transactions are irreversible, therefore escrow services can add trust and reliability to them. Using an escrow for Crypto also reduces your chances of being scammed by a huge factor.
yes. And also many coins are not traded on exchanges yet. escrow for IPOs are invalubale!

NXT pump seems to be over....
That should be good for NEM. Lets see if it can revocer!
|
|
|
Can someone help me out please? I cannot find a link to the trading platform where NEM tokens are being put up for sale. I do not have an asset token of my own but wanted to monitor the price and perhaps consider picking one or two up if the price is right. So I'd like to at least register for the site, but I can't seem to find where it is. I even checked http://www.nxtcommunity.org/nxt-asset-exchange but couldn't find a listing for NEMstake. Thanks! download the nxt client from this site: nxtclient.org buy some NXT and then access the asset exchange from the NXT client. See some stats here: http://www.nxtreporting.com/?a=12465186738101000735

![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Try cutting TwinWind some slack I guess he was just in a bad mood since he was among the victims. But I don't think he was thinking clearly when he was making the bold-red-letter post (it's really ugly by the way). It was an error in judgement on his part. So if you're reading, I hope you'd consider removing the ugly post, TwinWind, since it really belongs in a separate thread. gorillajam was right when he said first impression does matter. All of us should remove our ugly posts concerning the sharexcoin drama. to: gorillajam, I agree with all your points. You were right, and TwinWind was wrong. But please try tone down a bit. I'd like to think that Qora would like to present itself as a family-friendly community, and I guess TwinWind made the ugly post in the heat of the moment. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) So let's cut him some slack, shall we? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I don't agree. I made the post to raise awareness. Those scammers get away with everything because people stop caring about that. I also posted that announcement all over this forum.

At this moment with 100000NXT you can forge profitably. (more transactions atm + NSC)
Aha, okay. Could you elaborate on your definition of profitability? Let's assume the average forgers computer uses 20 watts and runs 24/7. Therefore, they would use 14.4 kWh per month. This will cost them around $1.50 USD. The need to forge 30 NXT a month ( @ $0.05 USD per NXT ) to pay for their cost.

so, what would you recommend?
buy moar ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) probably will. how many do I need to get forging properly? Depends on your definition of properly. 400,000 - 500,000 NXTs are necessary to forge each day some blocks. Do not nail me down to specific numbers as they are subject to vary. At this moment with 100000NXT you can forge profitably. (more transactions atm + NSC)

Wait, so if the qora sent from sharex to poloni got frozen does that mean the stolen Qora funds will be able to get redistributed?
Yes, after it has been proven that it was indeed a hacker or zip. Also we need to prove who owned how much on sharex
