What do you think of other scaling proposals like BIP 148 or BitcoinABC?
UASF has no hashpower and no economic nodes supporting them.
If it weren't for Segwit2x activating SegWit, they would fork themselves off into the unusable chain scenario that I described.

the problem to trade oil, for example, is directly linked to the availability of the real dollar market (ie. banks channels like swift). but, now, they can sell oil for bitcoins. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) and then, bitcoins can provide trade in the country for others assets like food, hospital, and ... store of value.

But, where does it stop and are there unavoidable situations where a blacklist can be used in a negative manner to hurt the network?
not really since Bitcoin Core use a native integration of TOR/Onion Network since 23-Feb-2016. https://bitcoincore.org/en/releases/0.12.0/Automatically use Tor hidden services
Starting with Tor version 0.2.7.1 it is possible, through Tor’s control socket API, to create and destroy ‘ephemeral’ hidden services programmatically. Bitcoin Core has been updated to make use of this.
This means that if Tor is running (and proper authorization is available), Bitcoin Core automatically creates a hidden service to listen on, without manual configuration. Bitcoin Core will also use Tor automatically to connect to other .onion nodes if the control socket can be successfully opened. This will positively affect the number of available .onion nodes and their usage. Country where IP Ban use ... TOR has a default package installed by technical (local) staff (ie. the internet guy).

Source : http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-22/pippa-malmgren-talks-bitcoin-refugee-crisis-and-plunge-protection-teamOn The Rise Of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies and The Fall Of Dollar Hegemony
Moving on, Townsend took the conversation in a direction that he said might be outside of Malmgren’s comfort zone: The rise of cryptocurrency’s like bitcoin.
Contrary to his expectations, Malmgren said she’s been closely following the increasing use of cryptocurrencies, adding that they will likely play a role in determining who dominates the global economy, and therefore determines the monetary framework, after precipitating the next big paradigm shift, which will lead the world away from the dollar-based framework that exists today.
Governments like China and Russia, which are seeking to create their own digital currencies, pose a greater threat to the long-term dominance of the dollar than they, or the US, realize.
