2041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: February 21, 2022, 08:34:35 PM
As my opinion, I say that always buying top currency is good for anyone. Now the price 40k, we knew that 2 years ago, it was the highest price. Now, we see it was the lowest or 35k even it happens, but As think, btc will cross 70k or more. Still I hold, try to buy more as I can.
The price of bitcoin isn't $40k.

It's under $40k again and there's a likelihood that it will drop even up to $30k and below. That's the possible scenario that can happen to it within the next few days.

And with the highest price, it's not $40k. It's $69k which is the highest in the history of ATH for bitcoin.
We are aiming on breaking that 70k resistance or soon to be the ATH and we are really going down as of this moment and as said that if you are really aiming for short
term profits then this is the time you would really be considering out on buying or would wait up a little bit further because the price might go down even more.
We would really be looking for possible bottom but we dont know if this is would be the bottom and it isnt a bad idea to buy as of this moment because
recovery would happen next no matter what.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun alone? how true? on: February 21, 2022, 07:22:34 PM
Have you heard that some people gamble for fun and not necessarily to make money?

I find it hard to believe completely because who doesn't like to make some more money even if it is not needed.

If you knew the exact sum you were going to loose gambling, and you are the type that they say " gambles for fun", will you find it fun loosing that money still? will you return another day in awareness of how much you will loose and still want to loose for fun?

There are indeed people who do really play for fun on which believe it or not on where they are really accepting their fate on losing those money even though its not common and its true that we could really make out those
emotional reactions whenever we do lost which is something not really that enjoyable or entertaining but as long you do accept that you would lose in the end then its up on personal kind of view
and reactions to be made.
Some do play for fun but most people would be playing for the sake of money which it isnt surprising because gambling could really give out that change on winning amounts in shorter time frame
which people would be normally be having this kind of impression.
2043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lies and critics about bitcoins on: February 20, 2022, 11:44:51 PM
just ignore his words....Mr. Buffet is not aware of the potential of bitcoin, he's just trying to wash people's minds and lead opinion to his ulterior motive.  i admit i am quite amazed by Mr. Buffett because of his expertise in raising Berkshire Hathaway but he has empty knowledge of Bitcoin.
There's no man on this world had the pinnacle of knowledge on whatever form of investment that might exist and its true that even if you are known billionaire or economist or something in connects but
that wont be enough to presume out that you would know everything and thats why every person do come up with different ideas and conceptions about things whether it turns out
to be true or totally opposite but to those who do know about it will definitely be continue to support no matter what.
as long as that person has an open mind then i'm sure the billionaire will have a broad seeing of things out there.  bitcoin is not something that can be understood in 1 or 2 days, mr buffet must have never tried to explore the potential of bitcoin so he does not consider bitcoin as a profitable investment.
We dont even know if they have been accumulating silently but decided to look themselves as haters of bitcoin. It is really just impossible to think off that billionaires would not be thinking about the

possible benefits that they could get whenever they do tend to step their foot into Bitcoin.Well, not all would be having the same impression on which there would be someone who would tend to

stick on thing on which he had been used to through ages. This is which these negative sentiments would come out neither a total lie or does have some several points.

There's possibility that indeed some of them are accumulating silently and they will only disclose if they feel it is the right time for them to go public. Anyway, it is not your obligation to tell the public that you are heavily invested on crypto. We should mind our business and not worry about what others are doing on their funds.  For sure, Mr. Buffet read about bitcoin or crypto, he for sure wants to know this new currency before giving a statement. But maybe he has different perspectives when it comes to crypto.
As stomachgrowls said which no one really knows until the time that they do make out some public announcement or making some positive words towards bitcoin on which on the behavior
on being bearish, he do becomes bullish which people do see some change of hearts and perception which do really ends up neither the community would really be believing on such
scenario or would just simply ignore them because it is an obvious manipulative kind of act.
2044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I can't access a casino while my country isn't got blacklisted? on: February 20, 2022, 10:42:31 PM
Using VPN some time break rule from Term of Service some casino gambling site and I think not good ideas when opening casino with VPN, better not try access casino platform by using VPN. I think when asking on costumer service they will not recommended for you to access casino by using VPN because could detected with multiple account or your account can claimed as illegal access or mean your account was hack and open on different IP.

Is it based on your assumption only or based on your own experiences?
I've played in several different crypto casino using VPN almost all the time, in fact I do not face any problems.
Which casinos I'm referring to are Stake, Roobet, Duelbits, BK8, Playbetr and betcoin.
Reputable casinos wont suspect you for doing multi account just because you are using VPN.

disclaimer: I do not recommend anyone to do the same, just sharing my own experiences
.
Its been ages on which some people do really make use of VPN on trying out to access a particular site that they do like, doesnt matter if its a gambling site or other as long they could able to access it out then
people would just commonly make use of VPN.They are aware of the risk on getting banned or block once you do get caught but still decided to continue despite of those risk.

Even myself do make use of VPN for sometime whenever i do get blocked or restricted but i do badly need to access it then i dont really be having
any options but on this one.
Using VPN gives access to the respective platform, but sites will describe it a reason when you go for some claims/support. Importantly when you use VPN find the best in the market and make use of it. Free VPN's create lot of problems with popping ads and other security risks. Morw specifically there are VPN's that keep track of your activities. This is also a kind of privacy abuse.
Wont really be that much of a problem in using free VPN's though specially on using Opera Browser which you could just easily switch up in between countries and without having any ads or something like others been

showing off.Speaking about claims and support then you do already know the consequences on which you dont have the rights on making out claims specially you had violated their terms.
So i dont see for someone to be that confident on trying out to fight their rights if they are aware on what they have done.
2045  Economy / Economics / Re: Canada to freeze Freedom Convoy Protestors bank accounts... on: February 20, 2022, 09:40:08 PM
So some of you might be aware about the ongoing truckers protest in Canada or so called Freedom Convoy against the fully vaccinated measures by Justin Trudeau. The truckers are protesting against this and beleive it to be monopoly and have put restrictions to their trade between the busy American-Canadian border Ambassadors Bridge. They need to be Fully vaccinated or they have to go through 14 days quarantine period which is what the protest are going for.

https://i.imgur.com/1GJWcLN.jpg

i am a person who supports vaccination but does not support mandatory vaccination, especially to the point of having to close the bank accounts of all truck drivers! it's really inhumane.  hopefully bitcoin adoption can happen quickly, so people can live free from authoritarian governments.
Yes, vaccination can be advised. Whether to take the shot or not needs to be decided by the user and not by the government. The democracy have failed in Canada. It is a country where the President Justin Trudeau is highly supportive to the people in all ups and down. Now with this issue he have been under hatred. This can affect his political life. Canada is at 5th position among the list of democratic country, but the same taking control of users account is against democratic rule.
Nothing surprises me on which there would be particular u-turns which would totally oppose on what kind of government they are running in.Even if its a democratic one but decisions on locking out or blocking something

according into their likes or shall we say some sort of band-aid solution just for them to enforce such rule or mandatory application then these kind of decisions were never been new.
Even into the country which i do live in does mandate out vaccination on which to those people who chose not to do so will really be having a hard time on acquiring those common
services in everyday living which do really sucks.

2047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 20, 2022, 06:30:46 PM
I wonder if there would be more like this I mean giving their employees a choice if they want to get their salary on crypto or Fiat,
It would really be nice if every could have that opportunity, I would definitely go with crypto and convert only the amount of money that I need and hold the remaining amount.
It would be great for me since I wouldn't need to pay for transaction fee on cashing in my Fiat and trading it into crypto.

I once suggested this to the boss where I work but he didn't agree for fear of being penalized by the local government

getting a choice in salary with crypto or fiat is something that many people want, especially with the increasing popularity of crypto. profit from the gains generated during the bull market is the great hope of the employees.
For those people who are aware of crypto or does have knowledge then it would be a great add up but for those who dont then for sure they would be hesitating because they arent sure on what they are dealing with

and thats why as a boss or owner of the company then basic knowledge would really be suggested or recommended. Some might look interested on crypto option or bitcoin pay but most of them would just

stick out into that original or traditional settings that they've been get used to.
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A painful loss on: February 19, 2022, 11:58:20 PM
I lost 430$ to a metaverse scam project yesterday, the project looks a lot like a professional job to me, everything was so detailed that you can't easily smell any rug pull, here is the project's website https://markmeta.finance/ but unfortunately it's a scam project, you can buy but you can't sell so here are what I find out

1. The price of this token kept surging and surging, there was no retrace or whatsoever which to me is a red flag, the whole chart was a straight line aiming for the moon.

2. Telegram channel was restricted, no one can make comments or send messages, another red flag that I don't get suspicious over

It's too late already but hope someone learn one or two lessons from this
People do mainly learn up things when they've been fucked up.I couldnt blame though since scammers are really that meticulous on making projects which do really looks too good to be true.

Even how hard you do make out those research and confirmation then you wouldnt know on what would happen next.Losses is inevitable though and this is where

analysis and self decision making towards on dealing with this investment world on this crypto space.
2049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 19, 2022, 11:07:59 PM
^^ I would think that it will be Probellum who is going to happen Casimero's career moving forward. And maybe Casimero will hire someone in-between, and maybe that's where Rachel might enter in the picture. Similar to what Pacquiao did in his career, he has Top Rank but then have Michael Koncz or another Filipino lawyer. And with that meeting, I don't think that we will see Donaire vs Casimero fight in the future. Maybe both Filipinos are targeting Inoue and unseat him in this division.

Yep, probably he needed someone that can really understand the ins and outs of contract before signing it. As we all know that maybe there could be some "lost in translation" along the way, so it's better that he have someone in his shoulder that will look upon and scrutinized and explained it to John Riel that he will understand. So we have like 8 weeks to go, great time to really start that training and peak at the right time for this fight.

Lost in translation is the appropriate words for what's happening to Team Casimero right now. I've read that Sean Gibbons is planning to file a lawsuit against Johnriel to have him replace with Sultan for that championship fight. Damn, this should have not gone this far if only they have someone explain to Casimero what MP Promotions wants best for his career.

Let's just hope that this fight will proceed and Casimero will still be victorious so he can face Inoue in the future.
A bit impossible when signing off on contracts on which he didnt even understand on whats stated there. As a boxer then you should know on what you are doing but its totally on point on that recommendation

on having some side staff or someone who could really explain out well if he's not really good on comprehending on everything so that there would be no possible problems in the future.
Lets hope that this fight would push through and there would be having no conflicts.
2050  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto will rival or replace fiat in 10 years? on: February 19, 2022, 09:59:40 PM
We already proved that BTCitcoin is the most powerful tool against censorship and resistance from the government. If a government targets you by freezing the funds you move to BTCitcoin and there is nothing they can do if you are using non custodial wallets. Financial freedom can be achieved if it is used for global trade, if you are able to trade on a global scale without borders then you achieve financial freedom.

Exactly. Bitcoin is all we need to achieve financial freedom. It doesn't need to replace Fiat to achieve its purpose. I'm fine with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies being an alternative to the current banking system as long as they work as intended. A lot of things can happen in a decade as the world moves at a very fast pace. In crypto land, 10 years is like a century, so I'm guessing the whole space will be much bigger and stronger than what it is right now. Perhaps, Bitcoin and Ethereum will solve their scalability issues, reaching millions (if not billions) of users worldwide.

As long as decentralization is prioritized, crypto will be able to live alongside Fiat for generations. Just my opinion Smiley
Have these people imagine on a world which is only been having only Bitcoin as a main digital currency? I couldnt even think the probability or chances that fiat could be replaced or would totally

on which people do really being that unrealistic on things that they do have in mind without even thinking that if it could be that possible? Government wouldnt let that thing to happen.
Also, we do need governing bodies which do make out things in organized and arranged manner because decentralization isnt everything.
2051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Just Legalized Bitcoin on: February 19, 2022, 08:53:24 PM
Ukraine's parliament has supposed a new law that legalises cryptocurrency. The bill was adopted in a near-unanimous vote on Wednesday and needed to be signed by President of Ukraine 'Volodymyr Zelensky'. From today, trading or vendoring in crypto in Ukraine has existed in a legal grey area. Local peoples are now permitted to buy, sell and exchange cryptocurrencies, but law enforcement will often see companies and exchanges dealing in crypto.
Ukraine's crypto law does not promote bitcoin as a form of payment or legal tender or does not put Bitcoin on an equal floor with the hryvnia (Ukraine's national currency).

Sources: https://www.thestreet.com/investing/bitcoin-goes-to-war-ukraine-legalizes-cryptos-as-russia-pressures-build

They aren't promoting Bitcoin but they are legalizing Bitcoin on the other side. If that tends not to promote then this makes no sense.
Or this seems to be a conflict of interest that triggers Ukraine to follow Russia legalizing Bitcoin. I hope not but to consider this as a serious deal and really accepting Bitcoin in their country. While seeing this, the Ukrainian government is in the way of helping their people to live comfortably and more advanced.
The legalization of bitcoin and crypto in Ukraine maybe has something to do with Russia but i believe their focus is on attracting foreign investors through crypto that will help to regain their down economy. And i guess they have been eyeing El Salvador for a while that made them decide to accept crypto too and legalize bitcoin mining and trading, but definitely they are not making bitcoin as their official currency. It may take a lot of realizations before they will consider bitcoin as their new legal tender.

Not only Russia eyeing on out what El Salvador did but for sure other countries too which they are still observing on what would gonna happen on a specific period of time to El Salvador which do make out bitcoin as their
legal tender.Of course each country does have their own specific goals and intents of its governing bodies and as for the sake of economic progress and development then it isnt surprising that they would come up
into some ideas neither it is really that worth to do so or needing to go into some extent but im aint surprised about testing phase about legalization but in overall then this still a good news.
2052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 19, 2022, 07:55:26 PM
When celebrities bet with cryptocurrency or use crypto for any purchases publicly, they are promoting it to their audience that is composed by potential bitcoin adopters. That is: people who don't use bitcoin yet, but could eventually start using it, if correctly incentivized by the personalities they follow and respect. And when bitcoin adoption increases, every holders are benefited, since the demand is going to increase together with bitcoin's price. So that is why many crypto enthusiasts are glad for celebrities advertising crypto through online betting on their social medias.

Although not directly benefited by celebrities' bets by receiving shares of their winnings, we are indirectly benefited by increasements in cryptocurrencies' prices.

That's how influence of a celebrity works well in terms of promoting products of games while they are also all in in that game. I guess this is where sometimes they can cover their losses from their failed betting but I think this should atill considered as losses because instead that their talent fee by promoting the site was been set as a principal amount for their betting rather than take it home and use it for other means. However, this is just all my speculations, I'm still glad that bitcoin today was being endorsed by celebrities.
We dont know if there are behind negotiations in between stake and drake about this promotion neither he do have some fee or totally just his will on making out some flexing on his bet
but was not intentionally making out some promotion or exposure.
If Drake does get some sort of fee then it was just a bonus but just like on what others been saying that this is a win-win situation yet it does give out
that kind of promotion not only for stake but in overall bitcoin/crypto's existence.
2053  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New and emerging Cryptocurrencies? on: February 18, 2022, 08:41:49 PM
One of the toughest question asked in crypto space.  Tongue
There is seriously no right answer for this one but you can always invest in the routine coins. By routine I mean the coins which are already on the market and are being haunted by famous personalities or investors around the globe. Though it may look like stupid idea but believe me peeps are already making great deal of money out of it. If anyways it’s all about making money then it’s wise to follow the foot steps of those coins which are heavily talked about and invested.
A good thing to follow on but we know that there are people who do really mind off that they should really be that early on getting into something so that they would able to maximize out possible profits that they could

make which this is a very main reason on why some people do really find out on low cap coins or something which is newly emerge because they could potentially profit out for how many folds
unlike when you do really deal off with those old but known coins which could only give possible 1-3x possible returns which it isnt appealing for them.
2054  Economy / Economics / Re: UK makes first seizure of NFTs in tax crackdown ($ 1.9 million fraud) on: February 17, 2022, 10:19:28 AM
That is a lot of work. Escaping something like tax wouldn’t be so easy and you would still get caught. I’m just worried what effect It could give to the cryptocurrency economy, like how the people of the UK would see NFTs now and how it's being used.
That really put bad effects on NFTs because if NFTs will remain in safe hands then everyone will like it and artists will get their real profits while if people start to use it for escaping from tax then people will think of it as a source of money laundering and will think that these are those involved in it who escape from paying taxes.
People ahve to be positive as many people use many sources to evade taxes so it is not only NFTs which they started to use for the first time.
Still got surprised with this scenario?Anything which can be possibly used as long people could able to do so including NFT's or any other, there would be no exemption.
Lets just accept that reality or fact because this is always been a normal thing where there are opportunist that would be taking advantage on the current trend
that we are in.Crackdowns on these illegal doing would be a never ending chase.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 17, 2022, 07:08:07 AM
No Drake did not use Bitcoin to place that $1.3 million bet, he used Canadian dollar instead. Check out the bet slip and i am surprised that no one is even checking the bet slip before making the comment about Drake using Bitcoin to place a million dollar bet.

Yes, he can deposit his fiat directly but you also have to understand that in Stake, you can change the value of your Crypto shown as Fiat for easy betting. We can't say he directly used Canadian $ here. If he's a crypto enthusiast, he can have more winnings if he places a bet in Bitcoin due to that large amount he deposited.

But it's not a big deal. Drake still used a service of a crypto-gambling platform.
Canadian dollar or Bitcoin/Crypto it doesnt matter because he is fully aware that he could really switch up from fiat to crypto but what matter most here is the consideration that
Drake had done which do really make out some good exposure in overall market about crypto existence or this site exist.
He had been betting something like this or kind of behavior either on crypto platforms or fiat ones.

You are right there, mate. Why did it become a special concern that Drake used instead a Canadian Dollar? Is that even an issue? The fact that he uses a crypto-gambling site means Bitcoin will be associated in a form of advertisement. As a bonus, since Stake was used, more people will be aware of that site.

Clears, it's a marketing but should not be a problem to anyone.
Come to think thats how business works. The only ones who would succeed or place theirselves on top are the ones who are really that clever or wise on making out marketing decisions plus its a win-win situation

considering that this do really expose of cryptocurrencies existence which the thing that matter most for us people here on this crypto community.Doesnt matter on which
one he uses but still he do dealt of one of the most famous crypto casinos existing today.

2057  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: February 16, 2022, 09:58:51 PM
is it good to invest in all crypto or bitcoin?? I still watch out for everything.
Of course, as long as you put a lot of hardwork patience and knowlege, you can earn more than what you think.
Thats the reason why more and more people accepted bitcoin, because they know that they can build a better future with this cryptocurrency.Bitcoin is proven as one of the best investment in the world. It is a life changing, and you can assure that it can provide you a financial freedom.

Although the reason they are mostly tempted by the advantages that exist in bitcoin Grin
But seriously, if we really have broad vision, then this is indeed quite promising, even though the risk is quite large, but it is quite reasonable because the benefits obtained are proportional to the risks received.
and if indeed there are still many people who still doubt this because indeed they do not understand what the work system is like and only hope for an instant one.
I personally quite agree that if you see the movement of many people now even though the reasons are various, but by them knowing crypto this will be good enough for them and for the development of crypto itself
People shouldnt only limit out on crypto or would be focusing on that one because there are other industries which you could really able to invest or involved with which it could really give out
that kind of chance or probability on having some income plus able to save up money because you do able to have some profits because out of those investments.
We are always having that very common plan which is to save up and invest as much as we could because this is the only way we could secure out our future.

People usually invest in crypto becasuse they think iit gives better returns and also it is secure to invest in cryptocurrecnies. I think thiis is the right approach. I will also recommed this investmet.
You just buy a coin on an exchange, keep it in your wallet and later sell it once the prcies are higher. This investment is better than any other ponzi scheme investments where your funds are always at a risk.
Yes, it is really that qualified or considerable compared into other investment but you should play safe or be mindful about the risks involve and not that really that optimistic when it comes to results.

It would never be always that on positive unless if you are able to deal with the right project. As been mentioned and been suggested that diversification would play a great role if you are
really serious on having that financially free kind of life but of course it would be needing that risk to take.
2058  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Dip on: February 16, 2022, 07:59:21 PM
It is very difficult to say that btc or any coins predict the proper price. So, in the year of 2021, nobody predicts the proper price 60k. So, this year, we don’t know what is the exact the price of btc. But in this year, it will be a good and solid position as I consider.

Yes I assume that bitcoin will be in a solid position at a range of $40k price, It's better we increase our holding rather than waiting for any low price. Because the crypto market is very volatile we don't know where its head but let's assume that this year bitcoin only trades around that price and hopes it doesn't go lower so $100k won't be impossible for the next year.
Always set trailing buys on those low levels which i do always put out those whenever for possible price dips because no support could really give out an assurance whether theres some news or totally random moment.
Those walls could easily be broken or eaten up whether theres some sentiment in the market or doesnt have.

As trader or investor then you should really be that attentive on whatever possible actions that you should made out for maximizing possible or potential profits.
2059  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: stake.com- Does not have gambling responsibility on: February 16, 2022, 06:59:36 PM
I have to admit that playing almost a day or more is a very long time. I've had sessions of 10 hours, but over 20 is a really serious thing.
I understand very well what you mean, but all I can think of is to simply close your Stakes.com account permanently and just play at those casinos where you have the option to self exclusion immediately.
Whenever you do go past 3-5 hours or something which is out of your important hours or time of the day then its clearly that you have some gambling problem.About self exclusions then this is something a very standard for most casinos nowadays specially with known or popular ones and if theres some sort of delay about effects then its just understandable that you wouldnt do anything specially on making more deposits.
If you do then its up to your own will which the site wouldnt really be having no control over that and when you do lost then its none of their business.
When people begin to disregard important aspects of their life in order to satisfy their desires then that is when we can talk about a problem with addiction.

After all if we take into account the amount of time you need to sleep, take care of your physiological needs, like eating, working and other necessary stuff, most people at most have 5 to 6 free hours a day to do what they want, so someone gambling 20 hours per day is without a doubt disregarding some important aspects of their own life and as such they have a serious problem they need to attend right away.
20 hours per day? thats fucking insane.  Cheesy

Spending long time in gambling does already indicates that you do have a big problem and now you've requested for some self exclusion but still continue to make deposit
but on the time you have lost then you do sue them out and asking for a refund? What kind of bullshit thinking is that?

Personally I think that the chance to make money from meme coin is small. Look at DOGE, and look at SHIB, these two coins are like the top meme coins that we have in the market, but the both of them are not really encouraging at all. These two trended around last year, but the trend didn’t last for long and they were back to square one again.

Both of them are even finding it difficult to make a return to their higher price this year, and they’re not even showing any good signs at all that would encourage me as an investor to go for them at all. Meme coins for now are not for me, but if you should see one that you think is good, then it is up to you.
And it is simple to know why this is the case, those coins depend heavily on hype, so when people are excited about the prospects of those coins then that is when we see them making headlines and generating huge profits, however unless you were fortunate enough to invest in those coins before that hype took place investing in them is simply too risky, because as soon as the hype begins to slow down then the price will do the same, and that is when massive losses are accumulated by those unlucky enough to decide to keep holding their coins despite the crash they know it is coming.
Considering on how many meme coins in the market then you could safely presume that those who are sitting on top are totally because of hype specially SHIB and we do exclude the main meme coin which is Doge.

We do know on whats that project all this time and it do just happens when Elon did make out some hype and now its been poked up ending up on flooding the market with lots of meme coins.
Can you make money? Of course but you would really need to ride with the waves but if not then you would surely lost money.
