Hey I have a questionnaire. So from what I understand, the air drop is live, and there is suppose to be a button in the ap so that you can collect. I am using a samsung s3 and my version is the latest version. I invested a significant amount in the ipo, so I think I should be getting something. What's the deal? Why don't I see that button? I have an iphone, but from what i can remember from android is in order to get the airdrop button, you need to unlock it first by tapping on the right 'card' which says i believe like fb/twitter. After you done that you will see the airdrop card which you need to collect yourself by tapping on it, airdrops are granted 1 time per day. Thanks I didnt realize I had to like on facebook, post on twitter, and some other nonsense to unlock the airdrop. Now I see the airdrop button when I click on it, it requires me to invite friends. The hoops that you aren't even told about that you have to jump through, a bit silly. Your point is valid, we noticed this aswell and submitted it to the devs, it will be fixed in the next version. I still haven't been given a single gem in the airdrop. Is that normal? Thanks! You will get a lot of Gems if you invite in users that will stay active. I believe the airdrop amount depends on users you invite (who sign in the app and use it) and your activity, i thought also the amount of Gems u hold in your account but im not sure about it. Until now airdrop has been tested with a small amount based on participation and referrals, the full airdrop based on the 27,500 per day has not started yet but will once they have implemented the early buyers allocation. The more users join the network the smaller the shares become, just like Bitcoins rise in difficulty. So i would say invite another person(s) and use the app more often. For the latter send me your username and i'll add you to our groups which is very active with frequently tipping. |

When i type ok in dcraddrgen the window doesnt close and keys.txt isnt generated in the folder, but instead it repeats the 'once you have stored the seed on a safe and secure location enter ok to erase...' any reason for this?

People should understand that they can get a lot of Gems if they invite in users that will stay active. If not, the early buyers will get the grant. To make it clear — if an Early Buyer user invited active users, he will be granted for the active users he invited and for the active users without inviter. As an early buyer this is awesome. Monitoring the amount of downloads is a useful indicator to get an idea regarding userbase growth. Last update was Decemeber 5th which stated 3902 additional downloads in 10 days, afaik 43north finals was in october, so dont think downloads happening now have anything to do with 43north. There are a couple things users look for to decide to download or not which is rating, downloads and description. GG description and rating makes it attractive to try out, it brings lot of innovation on top of excisting im's. The biggest one is the ability to send money within the context of conversation, which was not possible before.

Wow, somebody finally makes it and trolls come out. As far as I know NEM is the first blockchain (other than Ripple or Bitcoin) to make a deal with a major bank. First to get 5000 companies when others don't even have 1, and trolls are saying that because we are getting adapted that we are scammers? BTT is so funny.
The reality is NEM has just done what no other chain has done, and other people invested in scam alt coins are feeling butt-hurt because NEM is actually doing something real with real people, real businesses, and real money.
The key to a successful blockchain project is use. The busy chain with live activity is a real chain. NEM is setting itself up to be just that, a very busy chain. This is the long game. NEM isn't going to instantly gain widespread use in a week or month because of these announcements, but I'm hopeful that by the end of 2016 we will see high activity

Apparently brazilian court blocked WhatsApp for 48 hours for failure to comply with a july court order in a criminal case. Within 48 hours 1.5 million new users joined Telegram. So within 48 hours Telegram adds pretty much the whole bitcoin userbase lol.
