Of course they're not worth the time if you're just looking to earn BTC. However, as the owner of DevFaucet (Since Closed) we believed it was more important to advertise to different markets in order to promote Bitcoin rather than giving people an opportunity to drain our wallets in exchange for ad hits.

Those look pretty darn nice. Thanks! I had not seen those yet. It is so hard to keep up with all things Bitcoin... Definitely, I just ordered one myself. I should be receiving it any day now.

I recommend working deals out in this thread or via PM. Skype conversations can be forged and there's also greater room for both parties to be scammed.
Use escrow too -_-

I should just ask for a bigger loan, so I don't have to keep asking :p but if someone could loan me another .01 or .02 that would be great. .011 for .01 and .022 for ,02.

Welcome new users! I've been in the community for a while now and have an immerse knowledge of Crypto and related topics.
Feel free to ask me any questions you have about the Bitcoin Protocol, Mining, Legalities, Wallets, etc. I'll try to answer each and every question posted in the thread!
Looking forward to answering your questions!
For every 50 questions asked I'll be giving away a product or service! The next one up is a $200 Amazon gift card. The card will be given to a random user who's asked a question or helped others in the thread!
Tips are appreciated (: 1FLFWupqsssVgGC7jUVDYX2Cz8UtJ7xGHa

I was just asking because I wasn't sure if it'd roll over to the new ID Thanks! btw yesterday's last reddit was good, got about 200 hits from that, some conversions but no sales yet it seems (though merchants report these sometimes with a week delay). if u can keep up that and maybe add something in addition to reddit it's just a matter of time before commissions start rolling in Awesome, sounds good.

This is a pretty crappy script to be honest. (And it uses PrimeDice's design)

How's user information (Emails, Passwords etc.) stored on the server?
There is an about section on the website that goes into a little detail about who we are and what we do to protect your data. However, in short. Passwords are stored under BCRYPT. Any retrievable sensitive data is stored under AES and can only be decrypted by you. All data is sent under SSL. We also make the assumption that all of our servers are compromised from the outset. We and things like re-provision them every 2 hours to ensure no attacker can keep persistence. The backend is completely compartmentalised spanning multiple networks and internal APIs. Our platform is built on top of and makes good use of AWS platforms and APIs. Oh and we run a bug bounty, payable in BTC of course. Hugh Perfect, thanks!

While the Heartbleed OpenSSL exploit existed, weren't passwords compromised? We were told to change passwords. I imagine a lot of the less active or inactive people did not bother.
I believe we were told to change our passwords as a precaution. I don't necessarily think sensitive user info was compromised to be honest.

I find this so confusing. You're making an advert for WindowsTMand you say it's not for profit? I'm sure there's some explanation, but isn't WindowsTM like the most canonical example of for-profit? I think they do plenty of their own advertizing, do you work for them?
He already mentioned the fact that this is not actually corporate-level advertising. Just to a small group of people in order to persuade them or such. Yes, just making it for the heck of it. Will not be using it to promote/endorse windows, nor will it actually be released publicly... (I guess here is an exception xD) Anyways I pretty much finished it, I am still open to suggestions! I was just about to throw something together in Photoshop for you. Show us the final product :D

It seems to usually be people with very weak secret questions/answers. Like "What kind of pet do you have?", which has only very few possible answers.
Since it appears to be mainly end user error, people should be glad there is a mechanism in the first place to recover accounts. It's almost as if I am seeing people claim it is just to darn difficult to read any one of the 20+ instructional threads on PGP Bitcoin Signatures or too lazy to Google it. ~BCX~ It's actually even easier than that. There are several trustworthy clients that allow you to sign messages easily, like Electrum or Multibit. Wouldn't it just be smartest to include a PGP signed thread, like mine? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=340642.0

I can provide escrow for you at a negotiable 1% fee.

I don't suggest advertising for a ponzi

Someone should build their trust upon +0 -_- Also, why'd you lock the other thread and create a self moderated thread?... Valid concerns were being raised.

Firefox might follow, but not on the short run, sorry. Currently working on another GREAT service [confidential] which will take some time Oh yeah? Shoot me a PM if you're looking for another team member. I'm currently looking for projects to work on over the summer.
