All I'm saying is that the next 'wise whale' that may win a 100 mil, may not think twice of coming back. In that case, you may need to give lap dances to those babes!

this is my staking.

staking $$$$

up 437,000JPC from 3 million JPC in 48 hours.

like it so much added another million to invest

https://jpcdice.com

I'd say be careful, went in quite some loss, so I just removed mine then.

the key is to think long term. people take it out, put it back in repeat. yes someon won 100 million JPC one day and i loss alot. but he came back 5 days and loss 140 million JPC

That's purely luck on your part and greed on his part. This investment doesn't guarantee profit.

of course it doesn't thats why they call it gambling.

look at investors profit at jpcdice

up 109 millionJPC

so anyone whos been there from the start(30 days ago) your ahead

i'm ahead 23% in 48 hours

I personally think that what happened to you is pretty much how money would be made over there, if any profit at all. But these small bidding's would only take ages, someone has to lose big for another one to gain big.

Now, after jackpot, we can expect 2 things:
1. big dump, which is bad
2. lower difficulty, which is good

... and one more good thing:
3. now we can finally see some stakings in thje wallet...

YOU HAVE TO BE A MINER TO WIN THE JACKPOT COINS?

How else could you expect to make that goal?

OK TNX.. SORRY NEWBIE , HAVENT EVEN TRY MINING ANYCOINS...
I THOUGHT U CAN WIN IT WHEN YOUR WALLET STAKE...

You can't even stake if you don't have coins to even begin with.

I know I have to have a coin in my wallet so that it will stake and Im planning to buy in the exchange but I have top know about the
coin before investing.. and Im just wondering if i have the coins and my wallet is staking is it possible I could win the jackpot by staking only?

Wining the jack is totally up to anyone by hitting that specific block. But it can only happen through mining.

If you wanna invest, I'd say go ahead as I still think that this coin has a lot of potential. However, you should look into it yourself before making any moves.

In other news:
Hashatme has again stopped finding blocks, just when I thought it was all good again, man....

Funny how hashharders pool hash went up by 1GH just because they found the jackpot and not knowing that it's totally random.....

I am surprised that Hashharder won. Its hashrate was about 10% then total hash. The most likely pool to win would of been Hashatme, their hashrate is about 33%.

Mininghub had over twice as much hash than hashatme. Pools with larger hashes would have a higher probability of finding one, but it's not guaranteed (harhharder proved it). It's the same concept of solo mining. Honestly, people with 1Gh/s speeds can easily solo mine even with this difficulty and easily make a decent amount.

Man your pool efficiency has gone down the drain, what's up with that?

I didn't shut off the stratum while I was doing some of the upgrade at 3:30AM EDT this morning, so ~40mins of invalid shares were submitted to the DB massively skewing the stats. The stats are inaccurate at the moment, they should normalize and increase back to the true 97-98% range over the next 24hrs as more valid shares are submitted. My ccminer is showing 99.2% accepted locally. Let me know if you're seeing different you end.

I'm barely getting 80%, only one of my rigs is getting 95%, I'm assuming may be it's because of the difficulty increase...
2071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: This has been *another Spoetnik Approved Rant™ on: June 10, 2014, 08:49:47 PM
pool op's better buy some more servers soon.. JPC is going to the Moon !
So get ready for the crowd coming and joining us mining.. they are coming.

Tell me about it, hashrate at Hash@me went from 2GH to 7GH in under 12 hours and totally crushed my 4CPU server.  Shocked

Now we have 8CPU and RAID-10 SSDs, bring on the hash.  Grin

fuck no pool is working right, all junk pool

I know what you mean, its going to be an interesting week in Cryptoworld.

Guys, no need, trying my best, the amount of downtime I've had at Hash@Me has been really minimal (like 2 hrs in a month tops) and 2/3rds of that was planned maintenance. Sad

Seems that the massive increase in hashrate really crushed the server with the diff set to start at vardiff=16, my mistake, far too low. I'm mining at the pool now, can someone else confirm it is working correctly please?  Embarrassed

So now there will be no vardiff? It will be static at 512?.. Sad
vardiff starting at 16 was good for cpu. My gpu mining at ~1.3M was feeling most comfortable at 128-256diff. 512 is little bit too hard for slower hardware, but good for highend hardware and farms... So the best scenario was variable diff.

Yeah good point.

Pool op's please look after us CPU miners Smiley
Right now i am only mining with my 2 cpu's ..one older one and one newer one.
The fact you can still effectively CPU mine this coin compared to most others is a huge plus for JPC over other coins.

I have Vardiff for CPU miners. Start vdiff is 512 to reduce server load, but min diff is 16 so it should quickly correct to provide good mining to help lower hash workers. Smiley

Man your pool efficiency has gone down the drain, what's up with that?

Too many panic sellers, why do these people even trade....
2074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Flux - Move Forward - Move Fast | SHA-3 | New Diff Retargeting on: June 04, 2014, 05:51:52 AM
I have 22,789 Flux, if anyone wants PM me. I just have too many coins to keep in track of. Would let it go for 0.01 BTC.

someone was buying at 17 a few hours ago

I was right there when the action was happening, could have even sold at allcrypt when it hit 20 for a little bit, but nah, the urge to hold is more than the urge to sell....

Not sure if you guys noticed, but JPC has been going a bit crazy on bittrex.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JPC]JackpotCoin, 1st Separate PoW/PoS#Jackpot#True Random#New Hash Algo! on: June 02, 2014, 02:22:36 AM
So how does this gambling thing even work?
2078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JPC]JackpotCoin, 1st Separate PoW/PoS#Jackpot#True Random#New Hash Algo! on: May 31, 2014, 11:15:09 PM
and since the transaction times are a million times faster than BTC, it's much more convenient to gamble. with BTC you have sometimes wait 20 minutes, with JPC, you can gamble just after a few seconds ^^

Shouldn't that be just 20 times faster then?
2079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JPC]JackpotCoin, 1st Separate PoW/PoS#Jackpot#True Random#New Hash Algo! on: May 31, 2014, 06:53:04 AM
@atomrigs - exciting! Can't wait to hear where JPC is going! PM me if you can share any info offline. Smiley

Does anyone know the Admins over at HashHarder? They are down again! There is no way on their site to contact them...im thinking of moving...

I don't but you are welcome at Hash@me while they work on resolving their issues. Smiley

@kebabman,  sorry I can not open it yet. I think he will do it soon.
Also you owe me one for your pool's 2G hash rates now  Roll Eyes

Hah, thank you, but I don't charge any fees so it actually costs me money to run the site. I know you donate though and I appreciate that. Smiley

Put a 2-5% fee man, end of story....

I don't think that you should rely on whether or not your pool would be hitting a jackpot man.

This is what you wallet should look like if it is unlocked for staking...

• The button says "Lock wallet" because you should have already clicked it when it said "Unlock wallet"
• The tiny padlock icon is open
• There is a green tick to show that your wallet is full synchronized with the network
• Going to Help -> About Jackpotcoin shows version v1.2.0.0

The first 3 points are REQUIRED but not the last, however it's always a good idea to be on the most recent wallet.

Also using the same version, but the button isn't clickable....

Edit: No way without encrypting the wallet....
