Make a request to Poloniex to add JPC,

https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

I know someone did it already before, but now the market condition is different.

I've done it before and now done it again Smiley

The script or server for that display of jackpot is down I think, but if you have a qt client open, go to console window, and type getcurrentjackpot, you will see the current jackpot size, what I see at this time the jackpot is 15880050 coins.

We have issues with the server at the moment. We're investigating.

As for the Jackpot, go here for now http://explorer.jackpotcoin.info/

watch the exchage everyday and you pick up on stuff.

today when it went back in 30's

i sold

50,000 31
55,000 32
60,000 33
65,000 34
70,000 35
75,000 36
80,000 37

then i saw the price was going to drop, waiting an hour and bought all shars back at 0. and now have a little money on the side

Would it be possible for someone to either provide additional nodes for syncing, or to upload a recent blockchain so that i could sync my wallet quicker?

I have these additional nodes you can try that I use;

Code:
addnode=74.208.234.18
addnode=219.194.178.90
addnode=85.241.196.165
addnode=188.78.66.111
addnode=96.27.101.117
addnode=2.27.246.124
addnode=69.123.197.209

So I thought I would try something new and different. We all love the jackpot right? Well I want to bring that 'winning feeling' to more people, so I'm going to implement the following on my pool.

- Fees will now be 2%, these will be held as the pool jackpot fund.
- Every Saturday @ 12AM EST I will draw a winner and pay them all the fees from the pool.
- Number of draw entries will be based on number of shares submitted that week * the number of rounds taken part in since the last draw, so the more consistently you mine at the pool the more chance you have of winning the prize. Small miners that stay at the pool all the time will have shares worth much more than a big miner that hops in and out of the pool.

The more people that mine at the pool the bigger the prize fund. Hope people like the idea, I think it fits with the spirit of JackpotCoin.

kebabman, what about pooljackopt on Hash@Me? When it will start and will it start ever? Smiley That was very attractive idea... Wink

Hi, I didn't think people were interested....it is kinda complicated to implement as I described it, and the pool is also using WAY more computing power than I expected, so I really need to start collecting some fees to pay for the server hosting at some point. But if people are interested I could run a more simplified weekly lottery with perhaps a fixed size prize? Smiley

Wow JPC now at 10th place on Mintpal! Smiley

Some generous donors pitched in big. Thank you!

they are going to squeeze every last penny out of you guys..

this right here was the final straw for me i want nothing to do with Mintpal ever.

you shouldn't have to bribe them to add the coin..

fuck Mintpal period .

+1 Damn right!!!

They should pay us to add a coin as good as JPC, so they can make money from people trading it! SCAMMERS!

i want to try mining this with a 750ti, which i keep hearing is great for it...

anything i need to know about settings ?

is it as simple as changing my current algo (x11) to jackpot's, or are there any other parameters that need to be set ?

if anyone could provide a quick sample of their bat file, i would appreciate it Smiley

Nothing special - pretty straight forward.
