2061  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Safepal hardware wallet review and opinions on: January 08, 2023, 06:16:29 PM
Right the main thing is the security of the wallet including the well kept seed phrases, even though it's a small issue about the battery I guess it will be a lot of consideration for others (maybe) but still don't know about SafePal hardware maybe I'll try to buy on the official site.
If you want to buy the latest safepal wallet at this time, it might be a comparison between the old device and the new one. Because as I said earlier there is also an update on the use of ports that previously used a mini USB port and now use a USB-C port, maybe the battery lasts longer, and charging will be faster.

The battery is also an important issue for the longevity of using the wallet, if the wallet has no battery power at all or the battery dies, it will be a serious problem (as long as the seed phrase is stored properly it may still be quite safe).
Well maybe later there will be some difference after updating to USB-C I can feel how the hardware is once in my hand and usually with USB-C port charging faster and battery lasts longer but I don't know I haven't felt all that except it's true really already hold in the hands of the SafePal hardware.

Now that should be a concern because no matter what it looks like with no charge at all it will definitely affect the hardware wallet, whereas I always don't use it every week or every month but keep it for a long time and only record the BTC address to receive bitcoins from routine purchases every week or every month.

If so, and now that I have a SafePal hardware wallet like it I should be able to power it on or charge it once a week to maintain the quality of the wallet.
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 08, 2023, 05:03:46 PM
I saw the development of Man United in the years to this day. After Ten Hag came, then bought a few star players and Ronaldo left, today it looks that the players are better and have a mentality. Ten Hag seems to have begun to successfully change the player's mental pattern.
If they maintain their best form I think the UCL Zone is easy to achieve at the end of this season. Ten Hag's rotation of players is also good, he always gives a break by replacing the core players in the last 10-20 minutes. Besides, I think at the moment Ten Hag should think about finding an alternative to Rashford.
At the moment Manchester United are still quite consistent after the second half of the season and Erik Ten Hag has started smoothly in carrying out the strategy and providing a strong mentality, especially to the players who are now increasingly impressive, especially Rashford, he is an attacker who can score goals in every game.
It's just that the next two weeks will be a threat to Ten Hag how not to face Manchester city and Arsenal is not easy but a tough task that must be done with winning points, but the important thing now is that at least Man United won't be as weak as the first half of the season because Ten Hag has already evaluated what went wrong, so it's going to be a hot debut for Ten Hag and thrilling.
2063  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another lesson for those that are using custodial exchanges and wallets on: January 08, 2023, 04:18:22 PM
Wyre users are able to withdraw, but they can only withdraw 90% of their money. Assuming you have $1000 on the exchange, you can not be able to withdraw $100 and Wyre users will be panicking about their money by now. Can you see that the more money they have on Wyre, the more money they can not be able to withdraw. On noncustodial wallet, you can send all your coins on the wallet at anytime.

Previously it was also the same as Juno urging its users to withdraw due to uncertainty whereas they involved Wyre as a partner who could control this.
Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-firm-juno-urges-users-to-withdraw-after-uncertainty-with-custody-partner

As for this news and it's true that Wyre is having a problem so users who want to withdraw at 90% limit this will be their panic but I don't know what the problem is but what is clear from the tweet is making an important change in management.

It is clear from the previous case that exchanges are vulnerable to our assets, so don't ever trust them, even though they have been operating for a long time, if our assets on the exchange are not ours.

But still there are always people who believe in the exchange. huh
2064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: January 08, 2023, 03:39:41 PM
Of course you are allowed to make side income from trading but you have to remember about the concept of trading in crypto? and it's not easy especially for beginners, so you still have to learn more about trading and lots of patterns that have to be learned as well as using money that isn't big so you won't experience big losses even though it's part of the risk but still a beginner asks then what's already know trading must anticipate that novice trading is not too aggressive when you don't know qualified skills, so live it and learn good trading concepts.

I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating.
It's not going to be as easy as you say, sometimes we'll get stuck buying price drops and it doesn't re-pump for a long time in fact it's going to tend to drop even more so it's not going to be easy to try a few times, my advice is don't let this become a habit but with the knowledge they have, they will be able to look for potential with a profit of 10% or even more.
2065  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Safepal hardware wallet review and opinions on: January 07, 2023, 09:23:43 PM
I didn't use this but yeah, I've read in different articles that the common problem is the short life span of the battery because they use lithium batteries which is IMO, if you'll not charge it regularly it will reduce the lifespan.  If you're familiar with the most popular battery used in solar energy they used lithium which needs to recharge daily.  My advice is that, even though you didn't use it just check and occasionally charge it like every week even though you're not using it, the battery survives more or less 20 days as their website said which I think 1 week is quite enough.
Same I saw about this problem in several articles so I reconsidered buying SafePal hardware and buying other hardware that doesn't use batteries, but I need other considerations to have some hardware to use including SafePal which I have glanced at before , if so the battery lasts less than 20 days means indirectly charging it every week is a great way to maintain hardware quality?

Will I continue to use safepal? of course yes! the battery is a minor problem that doesn't affect the security of the wallet, obviously if there weren't this problem it would be a better wallet. why do you think the battery problem should be a reason not to use safepal anymore?
Right the main thing is the security of the wallet including the well kept seed phrases, even though it's a small issue about the battery I guess it will be a lot of consideration for others (maybe) but still don't know about SafePal hardware maybe I'll try to buy on the official site.
2066  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 07, 2023, 08:33:56 PM
Yes... 0.1 BTC should be a very reachable goal.. even for a brand new bitcoiner.

Surely over the years many of us have proclaimed that it should be a goal to try to attain as many bitcoin as you are able to without overly extending yourself or to put yourself into stress.
0.1 BTC = $ 1690 is still quite low for the current price of bitcoin but for new investors this is clearly still affordable for them to have in the next few years (5-10 years) maybe the value is not $ 1690 anymore even higher to be priced at market, I feel the time is right to own 0.1 BTC now!

Our goal is definitely the same as having as much BTC as possible, it's just that if you already have 0.1 BTC, don't stress because you buy due to pressure again, what is clear is that with an asset of 0.1 BTC, it will be better if you can accumulate it again in stages.

For me, it's too pushy so I don't have spare money for other purposes, that's also not a solution in investing.
It's fine if you want to encourage investment rather than spending a lot of money on something you don't really need just out of prestige.
I can truly say this because it is clear that investing is a way that can be leveraged to generate profits in the future. At this time, we all really expect this market trend to change from bearish to bullish, halving is one of the supporting factors but of course other things also play a role.

Again, Buy & Hold - there is a good hope for a bright future.
But still, an emergency fund must be there when we need it, so we don't need to sell bitcoins that have been purchased so far, so it's a shame if you have bad luck like that, it doesn't matter if you encourage investment as much as possible, but don't sacrifice all the money for bitcoin while emergency funds are left alone, this is important in my opinion because after all, over the course of many years we will definitely need urgent funds that will never know when to need them, so it doesn't interfere with assets in bitcoin, so I really don't recommend forcing it because of ambition have a lot of bitcoins.

We already know that bitcoin has a long cycle, it is very likely that it will go from bearish to the next bullish trend and halving is a factor that many are waiting for because moments like this they consider as the start of bullish coming even though we cannot say for sure, but I am optimistic that I believe it .
2067  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 07, 2023, 07:49:50 PM
Even though the casino has many choices in their payment system, I will still choose a coin that is stable in price, not a coin that is hype and the price is high but in a few months it can drop so deeply that the value of our assets decreases in USD. During the bull market some casinos included ape coin as payment and the hype was over and the price of this coin dropped so much that gamblers who kept their winnings in this coin have lost all their profits, so I believe this is a lesson learned, players will prefer coins which are more stable in price and stablecoins can being an option unfortunately in duelbits is only available on the ETH network.
everything returns to the choice of gamblers, so far I have used BTC to play gambling instead of other crypto tokens, it is true that you said the value of the token if it falls will be worse than the price of bitcoin, therefore it is useless if you get profits in gambling but the value drops, good advice it's also good to use USD but on other networks it will be better with cheaper transaction fees than using the ETH network
All of that will be their choice which one is more comfortable to deposit into the casino whether it's tokens, stable coins or bitcoin. I think they have their own perspective, I myself really like random how to deposit to the casino, sometimes BTC, USDT and other crypto.

Indeed, tokens have a worse risk of falling than bitcoin, but I don't care because what I do is withdraw and never keep the win long so it won't affect a significant decrease.
As another option, using crypto is an option that is widely used because of the low fees and fast transactions.
2068  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: January 07, 2023, 07:02:38 PM
Earning $3,000 a month is already quite a bit in our country. You are able to purchase a vehicle, a respectable rental home, wholesome food, and other items. If I were to earn that much money, I would definitely set aside a portion of it for savings, invest in businesses that generate passive income, gradually purchase assets, and set aside cash for emergency funds.
Different countries have different needs, but for me $ 3,000 is enough if it is used properly and not excessive in any expenses, with rental fees etc. This must be taken into account, including vehicles, many variations in price, so it is smarter to manage income every month to set aside in investment as a long-term asset.

At least don't put it in one investment we have to be able to diversify into other assets which may be stable investments and that needs strong consideration and with a little money set aside for other investments or businesses we will get more profit this is not easy but by starting the process long one we will enjoy good result.

As well as one thing we need to know that good financial management will grow a good investment as well, as I did that and $ 3,000 for me is enough to arrange all that is needed a month as our fees including rent paid and the rest can still be invested in several diversified assets including bitcoin as well.
2069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 07, 2023, 06:27:07 PM
All of that has been your decision, if the motorbike is not useful for you then want to sell to develop investment in bitcoin it doesn't matter because you want to grow more money from investment so the advice is good if your decision is unanimous.

As people said above, you must first know how bitcoin works and also the basics so that this doesn't complicate it for yourself, investing must know about bitcoin not only because you want big profits or the influence of other people but because we already understand all the aspects that you have learned about bitcoin, you must need it before starting to invest in bitcoin, not only that because investment is long term so strategy, risk management, and mentality must be prepared because it is not easy in this long journey but if it has become determination to invest in bitcoin then do it and make sure you can hold longer the bitcoin you have.

Not only the sale of motorbikes, you still have to develop bitcoin to grow it again, if you already have extra money you can put it in bitcoin, you can do it with DCA or Lump-sum to accumulate more bitcoins and produce more in the future.

2071  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: First Exchange to Bite the Dust in 2023, Juno on: January 06, 2023, 07:49:58 PM

Juno isn't a well-known exchange though and they were just warning thier users to withdraw which is kind of good at least while they are having troubles with partners like Wyre. CEX today is decent enough to not just shut down abruptly and leave a hacking explanation. They said they will resume after they solve the issue besides the money involved is just $1.25 million according to the contelegraph.
It said in a twitter thread Juno does not hold assets and only relies on partnerships (Wyre) when there is no certainty then the Juno Platform is taking steps to notify users to withdraw immediately until this issue is resolved, and they will look for new crypto partners to resume operations so clearly Juno took this step because he did not want to see his customers suffer.

This case may be different with FTX or any other hack they are worried about partner uncertainty whereas this platform is very reliable, it is said in thread 1/ 90% of crypto users mostly use Juno as on and off-ramp.

2072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 06, 2023, 04:12:28 PM
Here is the Arsenal and Manchester City fixture list for the Premier League in January.

Tottenham vs Arsenal
Arsenal vs Manchester United

Arsenal have so far only won 1 match against Brighton, while they drew against Newcastle. The next 2 match will be difficult, the London derby against Tottenham and a tough match against Manchester United. Will Arsenal lose?
It's hard to say because the Gunners will face a difficult situation against a big team but it doesn't rule out the possibility of winning too because judging from the performance for Arsenal it's really extraordinary even though they will face Spurs and Manchester United Arsenal players are still able to provide great resistance to their opponents will also definitely defend their first position in the EPL, so I think it will be difficult to determine with Arsenal losing the game later.

Manchester United vs Manchester City
Manchester City vs Tottenham

Manchester City just won the match against Chelsea. That should really motivate them to get more points in the next 2 matches. The situation is the same as Arsenal, they will also have 2 tough match this January against Manchester United for the Derby match and also Tottenham.
I've never worried about Manchester City's game obviously they will dominate the game it's just that Mancity's weakness is from the counter attack sometimes it will backfire for Mancity when they attack the opponent but they always neglect the defense a bit but I hope Pep's squad will stay stable in performance nya, not only in January is a difficult match for Mancity, at the beginning of February you will also face Tottenham as the second match. It is interesting how Pep Guardiola faces difficult opponents.
2073  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: January 06, 2023, 02:42:55 PM
Well, this is the truth, many people are seeking a job and become an employee for many years until they gain ideas and experience about how the business runs. And I did too before starting a small business and with the help of my experience and market exposure, we also know how it works.
From the start of the journey, of course they want to get ideas about how to run the business they are going to start, I think at the beginning from an employee who is looking for experience and raising money for his business it is not a problem because on average there are business people who start from an employee who in the end they give themselves to start a business career from small to large, and all of that from the experience they are looking for while being an employee.

But I would say that being an employee is not a way to become financially stable, even after working for 20 years or more.
However, being a business owner also takes bigger responsibility and needs a strong management system to succeed, it is somewhat hard to imagine but the reward is great.
I think it will remain financially stable because an employee will get a fixed salary every month, but the needs are always different whether an employee's salary will be sufficient for themselves or not depending on their lifestyle which is clear so an employee will not increase their income and that is clearly different from a businessman.

In business, responsibility is the main thing, they have to be able to do all kinds of things that are needed in the management of their business, including how to manage it all to be more stable, this is not easy, but many who have done this have been successful, and I think people start from learn small things so that you can do good risk management.
2074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN ADOPTION THROUGH SOCIAL VALUE, THANKS SATOSHI (SN) and Duelbits(Hhampuz) on: January 06, 2023, 01:39:23 PM
I am very impressed with what you are doing with the community (LEC) this is a very good effort for humanity which means for them to need help and this is indeed not easy so what you are doing gets a lot of appreciation with the socialization that you are doing hopefully you will care more to people who need it friends.

Even so, You are willing to deduct money from signature campaigns (duelbits) for their needs. I know the importance of love for humans, including the Rohingya refugees who are very concerned, but at least with a community (LEC) you can feel comfortable and also smile at what the community is doing so I still provide support and I hope you are even better at running Lizarder.

True, bitcoin can change someone's life but at least it is beneficial for them in their life, obviously when you already know about bitcoin you have contributed a lot to both social and bitcointalk forums.

Human love is very important 🥰

Firstly, n1bet casino has no rep in this forum so this thread you should move it to another board as proper place i think someone else can respond on this matter.

Move to: Scam Accusations

Previously there was also the same charge as the n1bet casino with the profile "n1betscam" the exact name you made now so is this you too?
n1bet.com - BIG SCAM AND FRAUD

The case is the same as this case, if this is why you are making another deposit at this casino?

2078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Store your seed phrase offline on: January 05, 2023, 12:04:35 PM
the safest and most comfortable way to store seed phrases is offline with writing paper that is kept at home, I even wrote several papers

Especially if you are active in Bitcoin circles, especially if you also tell how much bitcoins you have, ... keeping the backup seed at home is not great, since it's the first place a burglar would search for it.
So if you keep it at home, find a way to make it not-really-obvious.
Keeping multiple copies in multiple geographically separated locations becomes a must, especially if you get to amounts that really matter.
It will never be told to anyone how many bitcoins I have because privacy will still be guarded by me so that people will never know the amount of ownership.
Because make sure it's a safe place for me to store the seed phrases and I also won't keep it in one wallet it's broken into several pieces and storage at home is always different at every point of its location, I make sure thieves never know because this is a piece of paper kestas that are safely hidden.

So it's important with lots of copies in various places because indeed with a very good amount I have, I have to be able to keep and I make several points that no one will ever know but these are still in the home circle.

Previously, I had stored all data online, such as Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, but I no longer stored it there, the past has become a lesson where I cannot access it anymore and the safest and most comfortable way to store seed phrases is offline with writing paper that is kept at home, I even wrote several papers so that one could be lost there could be a backup for the other I did that when some important data had to be kept safe offline.

As many have suggested storing offline is a good way to protect data from being hacked, you can also have a physical safe and I store there, because there is much more that we have to protect our assets than especially this seed phrase is very important.

My friend is now frustrated because he saves all the data on his cellular when the cellphone falls and is damaged the data can't be backed up anymore, he has lost what assets he has, a sad story.
