You don't know the owner, but what makes you sure to deposit bitcoin to exchange?.
Most of us know bitcoin exchange owners because they are publicly known, making their deposits easy to exchange for trading.

what makes you sure that your Bitcoin arrived safely and was not taken away by the owner?
Actually, this is still in doubt, we know how the FTX case is, we trust the owner, but in the end, bitcoin was taken away by him with his own interests.
It's better not to put too much faith in the exchange.

I always thought that,
same as banks, I don't want to save it for long time, because banks often go bankrupt, and the owner run overseas.
Banks usually always have insurance of a certain nominal value, if you are still unsure, just leave the bank, but believe me, some banks will not go bankrupt at the same time.
1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to fight with FUD about Bitcoin on: June 17, 2023, 07:02:11 PM
I'm not a Quora user, I mean haven't been on this platform in a while so I don't know if there's a discussion about bitcoin there maybe someone else is discussing it there.

But with the above, I will just ignore it because if you argue with someone who doesn't know anything (aka stupid) it will be a waste of time, even though he has spread lies about bitcoin and another crypto, then just deny it because you think he won't reply again, people who don't understand them will only spread bad things because they don't like bitcoin so there will be a lot of opposition every time he finds the bad news.

I don't think you should worry about them because for me they won't read news from just one source, maybe some other news sources should also be read.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: June 17, 2023, 06:30:40 PM
Apart from that, there are rumors that Al-Ittihad will also sign N'Golo Kanté and if that happens then of course, Al-Ittihad also have a good squad because they already have Benzema in their squad as well. Therefore, of course, Al-Nassr will still find it difficult to win the Saudi Professional League title next season, because the rival teams are also making big strides by recruiting star players. But yes, of course with the signing of these players, the Saudi Professional League can be even more interesting to watch because the teams competing in the title race have famous players.
It has been confirmed as mentioned above that N'Golo Kante has now officially become an Al-Ittihad player with Benzema and this team is one of the strongest candidates in the Saudi Professional League, I don't think Al-Nassr will stay silent by only having just one Ronaldo star some of them are trying to submit bidding proposals to other players maybe what is more interesting is the Premier League players of course with several players brought in to strengthen their attack line and they can do anything because they are never short of money for this SPL team.

Maybe if more star players come the betting market will be even more interesting in the Saudi Professional League and they will also pay a lot of attention after many players have come to this league, of course there will be more to look forward to in the coming season.
1264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buying BTC now, the best option ??? on: June 17, 2023, 05:40:06 PM
By buying the lump sum method, you really have to be able to identify market trends because even a slight decrease is worth the bitcoins you get, but if you do it with DCA, you don't need to do it that way DCA only needs to be consistent every week/month because there will be an accumulation of prices at an even average, but it depends on the strategy they want.
DCA is a useful strategy especially when you expect price to grow over time but are not sure will the price be moving in cycles. But historically speaking, those who were aiming to buy only during the dips (or what looked like a possible dip) note better results than those doing the DCA. Of course buying the dips require more analysis, but it's not like you have to time the market perfectly. Sometimes all it takes is to avoid buying at what looks like a peak of the hype, or just buy when moods are low.
Yes, I think with the DCA strategy, I expect it to grow from time to time, but I only look at the history of the 4 year cycle, so I think it would be very appropriate if we do DCA for 4 years.
I know that dips are buying dips and we have to understand about normal market movements when there is a dips that lead to crashes it's the right time to buy dips when it's the most appropriate moment, but I can't do that because from a financial point of view at mine I just prefer DCA even if it's small at $10 but at least bitcoin holdings grow weekly and don't need to buy dips for some other reason.
With a note by buying dips I think it's a good result they buy every dips they just need to manage their time and finances to be ready when the market crashes again.
1265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buying BTC now, the best option ??? on: June 16, 2023, 06:27:53 PM
Whether it is or isn't a good time to buy should not depend on your current holdings. Why would you propose "no-coiners" to buy now and to those who already hold to wait for a deeper dip? This makes no sense.
With ownership let it not be bothered anymore because building bitcoin ownership is a little more difficult to expect more so if you already have capital then the time is now to start again but if you are waiting that is uncertain that makes it more complicated even when the price has been discounted want more discounted price and it is a temperamental exposed people.

But yeah, for those who want to enter with a lump sum and not do the DCA, I'd probably wait a little longer to see how the current situation will unfold. You can't time the market perfectly anyway so it's all about identifying the price trend.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? on: June 16, 2023, 05:55:47 PM
I don't think it's going to impact bitcoin any more than CZ isn't a bitcoin owner unless it refers to BNB then it's bound to happen but for another implied boom in bitcoin I wouldn't believe bitcoin would be any worse but for a bit of a correction, I think this is reasonable thing.

Yeh US is a market threat but it's only for part of the region but globally it can't influence that resulted in the market going down badly even I saw on twitter BlackRock and other US banks bitcoin in large quantities is this maybe a sign where they are doing anything to buy more bitcoins in preparation for Halving 2024 later?
1267  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: June 16, 2023, 04:54:40 PM
The advice you give does sound wise enough for those who still don't own a property like a house, but there is one more solution that might also be wiser if someone can't buy a house in cash. Those who want to buy a house but don't have enough money for a house unit can also make a way with a home developer by paying it off every month.

This of course will not be related to the bank because the home developer himself will handle this as long as there is a clearer agreement from the buyer. However, if the buyer feels that this is quite a burden, then the solution to renting a house can also be used by those who don't own a house, even though the level of burden is not much different even though the rental fee is only considered once a year.
Not everyone can afford to buy a house in cash, most of them are renters because with this they can afford to pay monthly, of course, their monthly income must be adjusted according to their wishes.
What I know is that every house installment involves a bank, because developers also won't be able to afford long-term installments, unless by buying cash directly, the developer can do it. What's more complicated than home installments is that it takes a long time, even 10 more years, that's what will make us burdened if financially does not support, therefore the wiser advice is to rent, that is my view.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 16, 2023, 04:26:20 PM
Erik Ten Hag would suffer a significant loss if he lost De Gea from his roster for next season; after all, he is not on the Red Devils' retained list. David De Gea's contract with Manchester United expires on June 30, after which he will be a free agent, and his new contract remains pending. United have not yet triggered the extension of his contract, but conversations have taken place, and the club's new contract proposal for David will result in a £375,000 weekly salary cut, which I believe the Spaniard will find it hard to accept. De Gea's contract has been active since 2011, and his presence has been extremely beneficial to the club's growth.
I think Erik Ten Hag already has a potential replacement for David De Gea if he leaves, I think Andre Onana will be the candidate if he will replace De Gea, the current stage is still negotiating because De Gea doesn't want a salary cut with his new contract maybe that's the reason where he will go but we never know if this will be maintained or even let him go in free agency.

I know Erik Ten Hag only wants to overhaul the squad of several players including goalkeepers, defenders, midfield and strikers but we have to know that Erik Ten Hag has a strong instinct which player he needs.

And in the first week of the match which was even more interesting, Chelsea vs Liverpool, of course, Chelsea has now undergone a change from before.
The first game will be more of a big test for Chelsea than it will be for Liverpool considering how very disappointing Chelsea finished last season and the high expectations that the supporters of the club have for the new coach and the new team that will start on a fresh slate next season. Pochettino has a big job on his hand and the result he will be expecting from that game is a win or a draw. If he looses that game, and say embarrassingly, he will be heavily mocked and criticized by the media. Chelsea will play at home, that is more reasons to win the game.
I will see from Chelsea how much they overhaul the squad and rotate some of the old players that are not needed, at the moment there are many who are linked with Chelsea including Havertz and Mount will leave Chelsea including some of the defense Chelsea will also be released because Pochettino wants to rotate also, I think I will decide the match after Chelsea brought in several players who are hunting him.

Pochettino had a tough task against Liverpool. It was also a bit more difficult than I predicted, but I have to look at Chelsea from a change perspective again because it's obvious they want to get back to their form under Pochettino's tutelage.

Why not if it makes it easier for you to understand blockchain, because with a seminar with this event at least you know and can socialize with other people who attend the event.

Then where is the confusion if it's not feasible?
Now I see a lot of this seminar and many are enthusiastic for those who participate it means they still need some further knowledge than searching the internet themselves.

But to be honest, I've never done a seminar on blockchain events before.

When I take a glance at the upcoming Premier League fixtures, I see some of the top clubs have quite an interesting lineup. Out of all the teams, Manchester City seems to have the easiest opening fixtures. I wouldn't be surprised if City walks away with wins from almost all their matches, definitely will get 24 points in the bag. While Arsenal also looks to have a relatively comfortable run in their early fixtures. But, there's no team in premier league right now can compete with City because they're miles ahead of every other team in the league. Man City might defend their title this season again, but anything could happen. However, I feel it's going to be a wild season in the premier league 100 percent.
The match schedule has been released from the Premier League's official website.

Burnley vs Manchester City as the opening match on the 12th of August.
In the season that will start later, it will start from a new one again and we don't know which team will compete again. In fact, several of the top EPL clubs are still active in the transfer market for readiness later, so it's not surprising that someone will compete with Manchester City again but I wouldn't say that Manchester City doesn't have a rival for it in fact it will be more once the season starts.

And in the first week of the match which was even more interesting, Chelsea vs Liverpool, of course, Chelsea has now undergone a change from before.
1272  Other / Archival / Re: No panic while holding my Bitcoin on: June 15, 2023, 04:23:02 PM
First before i bought my first bitcoin, i first of all build a good understand of the market and how bitcoin volatility works, and also learned about the effect of external forces in determining the price of Bitcoin  such as exchange crisis and other governmental policies that can have short time effect on bitcoin.
You did a good thing before starting, with a basic understanding at least it makes you at least understand all the aspects needed because if you learn more then you will have the knowledge and judgment that you think is good to do it on the other hand some the effects of other news also often affect the price of bitcoin including from government policies and other famous people.

Secondly i have learned never to panic during any crisis time or when the bitcoin price drop significantly because in the near future it will increase in value again, and also to hold an amount i can afford to look away from for a long time.
This and many more is the reason behind my current confidence in Bitcoin's ability never to let me lose if I hold for a long time.
Bitcoin always has a good cycle if you are only investing for the long term then don't panic all the negative news that leads to bitcoin will quickly pass, and with your faith I think you can do that especially you already know when bitcoin goes down then it will up again someday, I with us holding on longer then we ourselves will be the winners.

At first, it was difficult to overcome panic, but believe me, if you understand everything related to bitcoin, then you will understand how not to panic, let alone sell your bitcoins in the middle of the road.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 15, 2023, 04:03:55 PM
as reported by the 'guardian', both pl clubs manchester united and fc chelsea are making efforts to sign the 27-yo keeper André Onana (inter). according to the report, 'the blues' would already be willing to listen to offers for their goalkeepers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy - the resulting problem would be solved by the cameroonian. 'the devils', on the other hand, he could succeed David De Gea, whose contract expires this summer and with whom no agreement has been reached so far...
It seems that there is still no certainty from Manchester United because they have not even made an offer to Inter Milan, on the other hand Erik Ten Hag looks at his budget and depends on David De Gea's decision, if he does not extend the contract then it is likely that the main thing to do is Erik Ten Hag is chasing the Inter Milan keeper because he is skilled enough to play with Inter Milan.

I read other reports about Chelsea there is also interest in Andre Onana, but they only want to exchange a few players but that is not a definite agreement and at the moment I don't know what price Inter Milan wants for Andre Onana, or what it will be. keep it as the main goalkeeper.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A portion of my clothing store's weekly profit is invested in Bitcoin on: June 14, 2023, 05:40:08 PM
There's nothing wrong with your investment if you think it's good, but in the weekly income from your shop, is there another percentage where in terms of shop rental or other needs that also have to be set aside?

You should also know that investing in bitcoin comes with risks but I think you understand how bitcoin moves in the market and can observe that in each of those weekly buys or closer to DCA.

Why don't you accept bitcoin as a payment?

You can start small, generating a new address for every purchase in a mobile wallet (or even in a hardware wallet) and see how it goes.

I bet some customers will like the idea and you might even get a few extra sells. I don't think lots of people will be buying using bitcoin, but it is a start.
I think the OP is from Bangladesh, isn't that country prohibited for bitcoin, especially in payment transactions at a shop or as another medium of exchange?
1275  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC > 1M ? on: June 14, 2023, 04:47:36 PM
I don't know where this reasoning about bitcoin being worth $1M comes from. Somehow it seems impossible to me. So far, people don't have such a huge need for bitcoins. But if it's going to be in demand around the world, then probably 1M isn't fantastic.
It's still very hard to believe bitcoin reached the fantastic price of $1M, I don't know about the predictions that will come with a long time but it's likely that a lot of people will believe at this price because bitcoin availability is limited then that's what might be a higher value bitcoin.

Will the whole world evolve to bitcoin? I think it will be very difficult for a country to maintain their fiat as a medium of exchange and bitcoin may only be an alternative option, but then again I believe in the rapid change of bitcoin.

Arsenal are reported to be interested in Kai Havertz who has two years left on his contract at Chelsea [1]. Recently Real Madrid also were reported to be interested in Havertz but seems to have backed off after Chelsea tag on Havertz of 75-80m Euro around. 75m Euro was also reported to Arsenal and Arsenal also seems to uninterested in paying that much. But from Chelsea point of view, it is understandable given the price they paid to get Havertz from Leverkusen.

Reference:
[1] https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1669002478086414336

That price is too high for Arsenal, even if Chelsea want to keep the price of £75 million, it is likely that Arsenal will step back and prefer the purchase of Declan Rice from West Ham over Kai Havertz, it was also said in Fabrizio's statement that Real Madrid would not pay more than £50 million for Kai Havertz so according to some media the price set by Chelsea is indeed too high.

It's possible that Chelsea will lower the price, it could be that Kai Havertz will target him more quickly, on the other hand, as long as Real Madrid don't want it to be too high because they are eyeing other strikers who are more promising than Havertz
1277  Economy / Economics / Re: Is poverty a lack of money? on: June 14, 2023, 03:31:11 PM
In the context of poverty, there may be many other things. I agree that poverty is not only in the form of money, which has other basic materials that must be fulfilled as a necessity of life.

But it is more correct to say that money covers everything and has greater power than food that is owned from plantation products or they have livestock, but they definitely need money for all the goods that must be purchased with what if they don't have them they cannot do it. anything, even with work in the garden, usually there is a wage that must be given, so money is very important.

But what we see most now is that many people perceive a lack of money as poverty.
1278  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is never enough! on: June 13, 2023, 07:26:27 PM
Many people always think that money is everything, in my country poverty is increasing so there are many crimes, and of course the main factor is money, many state officials have been arrested for alleged corruption, and the best thing is that we always think wisely with money.
Money is very important nowadays. but money is still money, namely only legal tender. So in the end we really have to be wise in interpreting this. and the most important thing is that we have to control ourselves personally, especially in terms of greed. because usually it's not money that's always not enough but it's ourselves who are always controlled by greed which always thinks everything is not enough and wants more and more. and it is also still true if we can earn money the right way. if greed drives us to do something that is not right then that is what we must avoid.
Everything now always needs money without this object we will not be able to live but with money people can be damaged because they cannot control it properly or use it wisely, yes because of greed that causes them to still lack everything even for other people with little money It's enough to leave us alone to determine whether we can live better with money or even grow more than before, this comes back to us and try with the money we have, we must have the principle of saving for the long term.
1279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: June 13, 2023, 06:39:55 PM
And keep in mind that Bitcoin does not have FUD, and what is affected by FUD today is Altcoin, which indicates that Bitcoin is the best choice, and the use of wallets in full control by yourself is the right lust in storing the Bitcoin owned. What happens now, I think we have to be aware of where we have to save our bitcoin.
I think it's useless we do DCA and do many strategies of buying Bitcoin, and get a cheap price but if it is still using in third party, the Bitcoin that we have has the potential to disappear.
Hopefully with this situation, more and more people are aware, Bitcoin is the right choice and storage with full control is a strategy for investment in bitcoin not in vain.
Bitcoin will only be attacked by people who don't like it, so they can spread FUD, an example like this new case where the SEC continues to accuse several exchanges that have an impact on bitcoin, of course there are still many people who believe in exchanges, try if they are aware of saving in a personal wallet, maybe not will have an impact down with the presence of FUD.

And hardware is the best wallet where to store your built-in bitcoins, although there are other wallets that can still be trusted as long as they store the private keys securely.

Your second point is quite good where we have to remind them without involving third parties because it will have a high risk, by building a DCA strategy it means we don't use exchanges anymore to store it, and it is best when a correction is to buy.
1280  Economy / Economics / Re: Landed properties is the best investment on: June 13, 2023, 06:09:54 PM
Real estate is an industry that will never fade away and is always in demand by everyone. Every individual has at least one dream that needs to be realized: a home for their family. Without a home, one cannot live comfortably. Engaging in a business related to a basic human need is undoubtedly promising, especially considering that property prices keep rising year after year.
Every individual wants the land property that they own because prices will never drop worse because what we know from year to year prices continue to increase, try to compare prices from 10 years back with current prices maybe it will be more than 10x that's what they believe in This business has a value that will never be subject to inflation.
A family really needs a house with a comfortable life for them, so the demand for land is increasing every year. Try to imagine how many people who are married still rent every year. That's how important it is to own a property.

However, there is a crucial aspect to consider. This business may appear promising, as long as the land in your country is free from war. War poses a vulnerability to the real estate industry, as nobody wants to reside in a conflict zone. So, take this into account to ensure you don't incur losses.
I think it should be avoided and choose a location that is peaceful in the country, so if it leads to a situation where the country is having a property price war there it won't sell, there are lots of buildings that are destroyed.
I'm sure many of them have locations that are very peaceful from any threats unless we have to know about locations that must be protected from flooding or other natural disasters.
