1061  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can 1 satoshi be worth $1 in the future? on: August 03, 2023, 04:40:20 PM
How many centuries will it take for bitcoin to hit $100 million, I know it's crazy!

There is no higher expectation for sat = $1 but this is too far away so capitalists must be higher than anything in the world, I can't guess too far with this crazy prediction.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you tell me the best indicator for long term investment? on: August 03, 2023, 03:49:44 PM
There is no need for any indicators in long-term investment, for example you invested in bitcoin ATH before $69K and the current price is $30K half ATH from the previous price, if you believe in the 4-year cycle then at $30K it is time to enter with your investment, while many speculators that the upcoming ATH is more than $100K.

Indicators are more precise on trading, but long-term investment is quite simple buy, then HODL.
1063  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying food with BTC on: August 03, 2023, 03:20:15 PM
Yes, for occasional purchases, $0.7 might not be a problem. But if I make purchases frequently enough, like eating 3x a day, $0.7 is going to be a serious problem for me. especially for me it only takes $3 for a meal so $0.7 is a lot as it seems like 20% of my meal cost

Btw, sorry if this is off topic, but honestly I'm curious if bitcoins are effective for everyday purchases? Maybe someone who has lived in a country where bitcoin is legal as a means of payment can share their experience with bitcoin. I have a thought that bitcoins are not effective for everyday purchases due to high transaction fees and busy network so they often get delayed but that is just my opinion, I have never had any real experience using bitcoins for daily transactions.

For transactions in large numbers, let alone across countries, we seem to agree that the use of bitcoin is very effective and transaction costs look very cheap compared to the fiat system.
You can use the lightning network which is cheaper in terms of costs, if sending from the onchain network it will be very expensive if you often make transactions but currently the lightning network has been widely implemented in a restaurant that accepts bitcoin.

Yes, I also have no experience in bitcoin transactions for everyday buying food or whatever and it is only available in certain regions with fairly wide adoption in their country, as I said the lightning network is a solution for cheaper costs, so if someone, for example, often makes transactions to buy something with bitcoin then the lightning network is the solution.

I saw some media spread how someone paid something with bitcoin using LN.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 02, 2023, 05:22:59 PM
Expectations are high for Hojlund. I hope he can play successful matches at Manchester United. High-level performance like Haaland should not be expected. I think he can be considered successful for Manchester United if he performs over 15 goals a year. I agree with what you said about Maguire. He's hurting Manchester United now.
He is quite young and he will be having lot of pressure on him especially after being bought by a big club like United for a big price tag. He will be on spotlight so if he performs well in his starting matches then he really will have great career ahead. So it is really important for manager also to make him comfortable as much as they can. Even Haaland took some time to adjust so Hojlund will need as well, it's same for everybody.
Just like Mudryk who got a lot of pressure after being bought expensive, the media will not forget the expensive players they will continue to highlight especially when the performance does not match the price.
Hojlund must be a little calmer even though he gets pressure never to decline for the quality of his game, I think he is a talented young player so hope is still there if the start of the season still fails at Manchester United.
Erik Ten Hag will adjust Hoglund's comfort as well as Hojlund must match Erik Ten Hag's desired strategy.

Wow congratulations on the winning streak sir, that's really amazing.
That's how luck works, even without the money you spend you can get some big wins.
I've had a few unlucky days lately resulting in a losing streak, the opposite of you sir. Lol
It's okay maybe I just haven't found a good day yet, these past few days, and hopefully that day will come sooner to take the big win.
Hopefully, nothing is impossible.
I had a bit of luck from the price prediction results and at that time it was a good day for me so the winning streak continued, I enjoyed this victory and enjoyed the money. Cheesy

You need to take a break my friend, I've experienced the same thing when losing continuously so the best way is to take a break and come back once you are sure that it is a good day for slots.

Relax, you'll find out where the big wins are.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 02, 2023, 04:34:56 PM
Never played in demo mode but often won but this is just an experiment to know the game there as many people say like that, then there is no clear data on the difference between demo and live with why the results are different.

I think there are still many people feel the same way that this has been set up by the casino, but back to their own thoughts that demos are easier because there is no money there while slots actually have adrenaline and thrilling games experientially but back to their own judgment whether they want to consider there is a setting or not.

It's a bit odd that Ten Hag doesn't realize the Premier League is more stringent than other leagues, to be honest I have a hard time believing it. The Premier League is known as one of the most difficult domestic competitions in Europe, so it doesn't make sense that a coach of the class of Ten Hag doesn't realize that ever since he accepted the big responsibility from Manchester United.

Ten Hag can't change a whole team in one season, that's a fact. But I believe Ten Hag can adapt his needs hopefully especially due to the budget constraints he received from Manchester United every season. If Ten Hag has had many seasons at Manchester United then I believe he can build a better team.
I don't believe and I'm sure he knows the Premier League is the most competitive league from other leagues of course he realizes all that, so there is no word of regret or late for choosing Manchester United.

Yes it is not easy to manage a club very quickly of course it takes a process and also the budget that the club has, this has been adjusted and Erik Ten Hag who can conclude the players he wants for his own project then the team will provide a budget.
Erik Ten Hag believes that he will take his team forward.
1069  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: August 01, 2023, 05:03:16 PM
Most of them think that the important thing is they have a job and get paid so they can buy what they want without thinking about what to do in the future. so as long as they have a job then they will relax. However, I can only warn and invite them to prepare themselves for inflation and cannot force them to do so.
People like this don't care about the future, they just spend money from each month, even though if you think about it inflation will still exist even though the salary is fixed but other staples will increase so the money earned will continue to decrease even though the value remains the same.
That is if they believe in fiat savings because the risk will still be subject to inflation every year, for me it is enough to realize for ourselves because other people are difficult to organize even though they have been warned about inflation, so what should we do? Then never put money in fiat in the long run.

It's interesting about Bernardo Silva.
Previously he was rumored to be going to the Arab League because there was an offer to Manchester City but I did not continue to follow this news, maybe he refused to go there, then there is news today that Bernardo Silva also rejected an offer from PSG he wants to play in the Spanish League which club is he referring to? Is it Barcelona who will be joining Gundongan?
When it comes to Real Madrid I don't think it's possible.

After earning mBtc from the bitcoin prediction contest, I rushed to play on my favorite slot Zeus vs Hades: Gods of War and Bitcasino Billion.

Both games had some pretty nice wins tonight.  Grin

Anyway, the result is not yet out for the prediction contest. But again, i'm not one of those lucky users to predict the price closer. It's not my time yet. Grin
Maybe Karl is enjoying this weekend, so wait for him to come and announce it.  Cheesy
I tried to check the pick up date on Bitsamp which is 26,602 EUR (could be wrong this is not the final decision Grin) but my closest predictions are @Danydee and I here.

That's my guess, don't be too confident Tongue
1078  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jason Lowery's Twitter account hacked on: July 30, 2023, 08:35:59 AM
Obviously this is hacked! The tweet looks the same as the behavior of a scammer who tries to make a lot of bitcoins with a return of 0.05 BTC if you send 1 BTC. LOL

New bitcoin scammers have 1x transaction with $14 maybe this is baiting or is someone stuck?

I don't think there are many who believe in this deception.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 30, 2023, 07:12:43 AM
News from the Mirror and Twitter that Liverpool and PSG opened talks about Kylian Mbappe, it's about his loan status for 1 season after an offer from Al-Hilal rejected by Mbappe.

Is this a solution for PSG to earn money? There is no mention of how the total price will be installed if it is true that the loan status to Liverpool occurs, this seems to be still in the discussion stage and can happen or not.
It is already certain that Mbappe next season will be at Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Al-Hilal seemed to give up on star players, now Victor Osimhen is their target, but I feel it will be in vain because for me Osimhen will remain in Europe not the SPL.
If Al-Hilal fails again who is the next target? Their money never runs out. Grin
1080  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 100K FOR 2024 ! on: July 29, 2023, 06:45:05 PM
Yes it is very difficult to predict the market, it is impossible to tell when the market will go up and when it will go down. Although many studies predict that Bitcoin will be worth $100k in 2024, it is not clear how certain it is. However, if the Bitcoin halving happens in 2024, it can be confirmed that the Bitcoin market is likely to grow again. Although the Bitcoin market is currently in a bear market, it is expected to turn into a bull market after the Bitcoin halving.
Me, $100K will definitely be a new milestone but not sure when the right year will be, I'm just optimistic as a bitcoin HODL.
The 2024 bitcoin halving - there might be a reaction in 2024 but I think at the end of the year towards 2025 that will be a bullish year, for me this is not too important to think about now.
I just want to keep adding to my bitcoin holdings as much as possible, $30K is still very low I'm still trying to keep the DCA going from what I earn each month depending on cash flow.
