I also replace the keys on my keyboard daily.
Why would you replace them? Do they wear out that fast?
I replace them for the same reason I replace my gloves and wash my hands with warm water and soap after touching any surface.

2067  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which person a girl will choose? on: November 07, 2014, 07:50:52 PM

You guys are just speculating, you have no idea what girls really want cause you're not a girl. We always talk with my friends about this and I think most of them agree they want security from their "guy" over everything else. A banker may seem safer than a bitcoiner but the way things are these days I wouldn't bet on it. How many bankers have lost their jobs recently? Quite a lot. Also, they have lost their reputation in recent years.
Big time footballers for example are a safer bet, even the dumbest of girls can work out that even is their footballer guy retires at a young age they already made enough £ to last forever, plus can still live off their fame doing guest appearances for the rest of their life.
I think a girl's biggest fear is not being poor/average but actually not being able to mantain a certain status once they get it, for example becoming rich and then losing it all would be their biggest nightmare, that sort of shame in society.
I think Bitcoiners are risk takers in nature and most girls would run a mile from any guy who enjoys sailing too close to the wind, it's not far from dating a gambler if you think about it. Girls need security, not just for themselves but for their future children etc.
However, IF said Bitcoiner happens to come from a rich family then there's a safe "backup", and/or IF he happens to already have a few million in properties or FIAT ("real" money, since btc could dissapear tomorrow), PLUS if he promises not to do anything stupid ever i.e. suddenly investing all life savings and properties in a new btc opportunity which could turn out to be BFL-esque and bankcrupt the entire family/ Well, then yes you Bitcoiners have a fair chance to get chosen by a girl.
Note: I said "a lot of" girls. I'm a girl and I don't personally agree with those views myself. I would choose love/feelings over everything else, I don't really care what a guy does or how ricch he is as long as he's a nice person, and as long as I love him and he loves me back.
Hope this was useful to you guys, I know some of you don't talk to girls much so maybe this will help Smiley

I bet I talk to more girls in a day than you do in a year lol. Stop trolling,

You do realize people don't do this minecraft server / cryptocurrency funding model because it doesn't work in reality? If you can get a  kickstarter funded, then that's great, good luck to you Wink

2075  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to become strong emotionally? on: November 07, 2014, 06:21:39 AM
Cut all ties.  Stop making friends and lose any sense of empathy you may have at once acquired.  You can't get hurt if you can't feel.
Worst advice given ever. I tried that a few years ago, and that resulted in a horrible depression and attempted suicide. Undecided
You know why this resulted in such a way? Because you were weak, you are weak.

I however did not cut *all* ties, but I have stopped caring a few years ago. I'm doing great, better than I was before (!).
Now one needs to understand the difference which I did: I like being alone, but I however do not like feeling alone. Once you are unable to feel alone, your problems have been solved.
Stop caring and doing illogical things. I mean there is no logic in doing illogical things is there?

Note: Actually it is up to each individual, where a large number of factors are involved.
I do agree to the "don't care" thing (but maybe not as you meant it). But isn't it better to actually hang out with people instead of just learn not to feel alone?
Also I think that doing illogical things as much as possible makes life waaaaaay funnier. But that's me I guess. Cheesy

making spontaneous decisions != making irrational decisions

It's good to have backups. I just got a new phone. I had some on Authy and some on google authenticator. The google authenticator ones were lost causing a lot of trouble with customer service. The Authy ones were on my new phone.

Whether you keep the security only in your hands with Google and paper backups, or in a third parties hands with Authy, it's important to have those back ups.

So do you prefer Authy over Gauth?
