Id just like to confirm that if you have bought anything from The op then you have probably been the victim of a scam, I loaned him 0.06 and am now in control of his account and its coming to light that he was a scam artist. As im now in control of his account id appreciate it if we can stop any further negative feedback being sent as it impacts me directly and not him. If you need any assistance with anything i can try my best but all messages have been deleted prior to me obtaining the account apart from the messages to do with the loan detail and any new ones that have come in since.
yet right now both accounts are online at the same time? + if you are now in control of this account you are likely just to sell it to another scammer so we are back where we started

The question is, why would anyone do this if you can just sell your gold for Bitcoin and easily move your Bitcoins wherever you need them to be? It's the person's problem if they don't understand gold is really bad compared to Bitcoin when it comes to moving it among other things.
Looks like you don’t understand the situation. You buy gold in a country with no restrictions with a low premium over spot price. You smuggle that gold in to a country that does have restrictions e.g India. You sell your low premium gold as high premium gold and make a big profit. This is not just about moving funds held as gold from country A to country B.

have your teeth removed and get a full set of these : Followed by a tasteful gold shirt and some discreet jewellery :

Why not pay taxes should not be that much for $1000
He is not talking about $1000 gold. He stated in the OP a guy on a forum tried to charge him $1000 for the info on how to smuggle gold on to plane, so I assume its gold worth substantially more than $1000.
|
|
|
Second for why it's not legal in the first place? And couldn't you just put it in something that already would show up anyway, like a computer?
Some countries do not allow the import or export of gold or charge heavy taxes.
|
|
|
I believe the op's theoretical situation is getting gold on to a plane from a country with no restrictions so it does not have to be declared at the arrival destination. Probably pay off some luggage handlers to bypass customs in the country with restrictions i.e India
I suppose it depends how much gold you are taking about. For small quantities a few gold sovereigns mixed in with loose change would probably go undetected. If you are talking kg bars it would be a lot harder.

For the purpose of smuggling gold into India I presume?

Thats because The Investment is for my son. He Wants to earn Money thought Cloud Mining. I Own These things because i Worked my Lifetime hard but i am a Pensionist now and dont get anymore that much money and THe Banks dont want to give me any loan in Austria even if i got These things.. So thats why i Asking you and you can have at least my car As pledge.
If you are a pensioner then your son should be old enough to look after himself and secure funds for his own cloud mining operation. p.s. why would someone fund your cloud mining operation when they could put the same funds directly in to cloud mining for a higher return as you wouldnt be taking a cut of the profits?

What you reckon, a "Bought" account used for scamming

Stock prices are artificially propped up with all the at QE money the banks decided to hoard

People would still use bitcoin under a ban but it would prevent mainstream adoption and limit growth and price potential.

If the whole system crashed would people still bother to go to work for worthless money, is the electric grid, network still going to be up?
Bitcoin wont get your far when the lights go out.
I dont know how integrated bitcoin is in your country but in the UK I dont know a single place locally I could spend them, however about 5 mins from my house there are jewellers and pawn shops. I could walk in any time with some gold or silver and walk out with cash within 10 mins.

it has it's own weakness, and you know already what they are
especially when you use it as a currency, where bitcoin work much better
I dont need gold to work as a currency - I have currency for that. Gold is my insurance policy, my out of the banking system away from prying eyes stash. Its my long term bet that the USD will crash. Gold doing well today after the China stock market crash, not seeing it reflected in BTC price though which I though it would.

It just shows gold has a few flaws too... How much gold have been stolen in jewelry store robberies and from people's houses or on them, whilst they wearing it? The more valuable a commodity, the bigger the target grows for theft like this. We have also seen how governments made it a criminal offense for people to own gold. Everyone are poking holes into Bitcoin, but one of the oldest commodities on earth are full of flaws too. Take a look at the "scam accusation" thread on this forum. For a small community its currently at 104 pages and growing daily, Bitcoin is a magnet for scammers and thieves.

~snip~
Where I live physical gold mostly comes in the form of investment coins, and they are all cased for protection
@ deisik what coins are those? Always looking to add something new to my stack - Added a few oz more since I took this picture, up to 41 troy oz now ~snip~ by looking at this picture I would be more convinced that bitcoin is better.. I could invest as much as anything without worrying thinking about a place to save all of my bitcoin. while gold? if you have many bars of gold. it would be difficult to carry and save All fits in a box about 30cm X 20cm X 20cm. No 3rd party risk, no electricity, network, blockchain, computers required. Not damaged by impacts, emp, flood or fire.

Looks like the equivalent to a UK full sovereign.

They are rare in the UK, I've never seen them for sale in any of my usual bullion dealers. Sometimes they crop up on eBay.
