About rumours related to Messi, I can say that he is going to make his decision upon his future at PSG after the World Cup ends. For now he is just avoiding to answer the questions about it.
I also don't expect him to leave in January even if he doesn't extend his contract with PSG. Maybe his future will be dependent on how successful they will be in this season. If they win the Champions League title then it might be very effective in his decision. He would prefer to stay then maybe. But if one of the amazing trio leaves the team anyway then Messi might prefer to leave as well. Especially if that player becomes Neymar I mean. Messi has a much better relationship with Neymar than Mbappe in the end.
Too early, he will tell his decision way later he still has the whole season with the champions league after the world cup. The only way to go back to Barca is to announce a big cut in his salary or have a big part of his salary paid by the sponsor.
