2081  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Scamfree Marketplace on: May 03, 2023, 11:56:34 PM
I wanted to ask if there is any interest in building a scamfree marketplace for NFT/ordinal trading?

i am thinking about an idea for quite a while now and i think ifound an at least rudimental way to accomplish that.
so if i would setup such a scamfree marketplace would there be any interest of yours in using it ?

Of course, definitely, we all want a scam-free platform whether it's a marketplace or an investment platform you don't need to ask that if you're going to set that up present all the ideas, requirements, and policies that will guarantee your marketplace to be a scam free.
The reputation of the developers, who are running the project is the first consideration of a scam-free platform and how transparent they are, if you will set it up proudly create an announcement here and we'll see if there will be no loopholes for scammers to get in.
2082  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AntiDolos extortion/scam on: May 03, 2023, 10:31:09 PM

Well you can see the screenshot from Telegram, in which he asks for money to provide an 8+ review instead of 6.4 or whatever. I literally have the entire chat log saved with entire communications exchange in which I shared entire pitch deck with all the legal documentation about the company, Hacken audits on all tech and smart contracts, Legal opinions and all the documentation that goes to serious investors before they make a decision about investment so he can see that everything we do is more then real and true. Which I don't see the reason to post here, he can do it if he saved it, even though none of it is for public, but for investors at this stage.

Anyway it is clearly visible what he is doing and if anyone does the research on what we are and what we are doing as a company, pretty fast all his claims turn to baseless claims and open grounds for a lawsuit, if we thought that his false claims could harm our business, which we don't.

I posted this only so he doesn't do this to other people.

Based on their post they are here to expose scam ICO and NFT https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2838673;sa=showPosts and you have become their target to backup and shill their platform for you to get their service yes there's extortion on this if they cannot prove that what they are posting is not true
This is bad business and unethical if they are propagating false information just to promote their service I support @Jerome Tash call to explain their side here, and prove they're right about publishing their reviews about your platform.
2083  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yas.bet Scam!? on: May 03, 2023, 12:25:45 PM
Hi, I got my money back guys. Thank you for help Smiley
Good to know that you got back your money, though they really made you to go through the pain of having to wait for a good number of months without proper explanation.
I will be removing the negative feedback and changing it to neutral for future reference

I agree with the negative feedback if only they addressed this issue in a short period of time like one month or earlier, they can request to take away all the negative feedback but five months is questionable, do they have a plan to come back here and promote their casino so they clear this complaint, they should have a reasonable explanation for the long wait.
There should be a time frame to resolve the issue, either they mark the players violating their terms, of course, they should show proof, or they prioritize the issue and pay their players what they owe to him.
2084  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: AI voice replicating scams on: May 03, 2023, 10:22:22 AM
Question: Where do people think the criminals are getting the initial voice sound/wavelengths from in order to be able to replicate it with AI?

My hunch: Big Tech/Social media.

However this is no more than a hunch.

I'm sure on the social medias like Facebook and Youtube, Tiktok,  you can upload videos on these social medias and if you have a scammer who knows you or living around you they can spy on you and make you a target.

Scammers are very innovative they used every existing tool to scam people and now that we have AI they will find a way to scam people because its easy money, and majority are not well informed or do not know how to react in such scenarios.
2085  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano Ka Ba Manghikayat Sa Mga Kababayan Natin on: May 03, 2023, 07:20:21 AM

2086  Local / Pilipinas / Paano Ka Ba Manghikayat o Mag educate Sa Mga Kababayan Natin on: May 02, 2023, 10:24:57 PM

2087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Machine Learning Model for NBA Sports Betting on: May 02, 2023, 09:17:52 PM

This kind of match which the team that newly complete the full line-up can easily destroy the credibility of the machine learning since it doesn’t consider the player star factor on the winning probability of the team. This is the reason why it’s better place bet manually if you are aware on the drastic changes on the team during playoffs.

This is one of the big issues in AI or machine learning I consider this an AI too because it is a computer program to give an output, it can provide accurate data, and its prediction is based on old and fresh provided data but when it comes to big changes or sudden changes it is lost on how to give input while we humans have insight to rely upon, besides AI when testing it for the best time will tell you that they are an AI and they based their output on what's on their database, so they are limited.
2088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I asked Chat GPT what topics can help me earn merits on: May 02, 2023, 02:19:21 PM
This is like asking the admin to create an AI for merit purposes, getting a merit is subjective
(Based on a given person's experience, understanding, and feelings; personal or individual) you don't have to think like a professor or become Alex Neutron.

I don't know why you think merits are within AI territories, there are merits given because of intention, sympathy, humor, and contribution, just be human in your interaction here and don't be like an AI or rely on AI.
2089  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal for AI Integration with BitcoinTalk forum on: May 02, 2023, 12:09:22 PM

Overall, the integration of AI technology with the BitcoinTalk forum has the potential to greatly improve the user experience and enhance the community's ability to share knowledge and insights. I would love to hear your thoughts on this proposal and any ideas you may have for its implementation.

There's a possibility that AI moderation can be integrated for moderation purposes but I doubt if the SMF team will develop a package that will integrate AI for daily forum activities, forums are created for direct human interaction anything less than that is considered spam.
in fact, they have a lot of software packages to fight bots or AI to interfere or take part in discussions, forum developers will maintain that they want human participants on their platform.

I used to have a forum and the last thing I want is AI or bots using my platforms even if they promised to enhance that content, let's leave forums to humans, we don't want a perfect platform run by AI I still want to see people argue, questioning one another something AI cannot bring in a discussion platform.
2090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had a time traveling machine, then? on: May 01, 2023, 11:15:12 PM
If I have a time machine I will go back to 2010 and be at my greediest I will even sell our house and work to death just to accumulate as many Bitcoin as possible and try to stay alive and healthy until the price skyrocketed, I would have to stop imagining myself that I will be the wealthiest guy on Earth while waiting  Cheesy or people might think I'm going nuts.
There's still a lot of risk in going back to the past and implementing my plan because it's possible that I cannot enjoy the things I'm enjoying now like posting in this forum because I will be busy spending my fortune.

So I prefer to have an insight than having a time machine.
2091  Economy / Economics / Re: Which do you prefer on: May 01, 2023, 03:00:59 PM

My question is guys which do you prefer, a steady monthly salary which you know that no matter what, it must come once the month ends or a business/ trading/ any other thing which you can do that you earn base on performance and you have the capacity to earn ten fold of what a civil servants might earn if you are good at it, but there is also a possibility that you may have a bad day in the office which you may even incurred some loss.

Which do you prefer an why.

There's nothing like getting paid for something you love doing because its no longer work and you will never get tired of doing it because there is love and there's always a burning motivation to do that even if we have bad days doing, there's no such thing as perfect work or vocation, we will always encounter hard times because its part of our learning process on that job.

Between trading and office service, I will prefer trading if I become good at doing it and the office work becomes boring, or if I still find my office work fulfilling and challenging and I'm still learning how to trade, I will retain my office work and treat trading as my sideline or another income source.

The most important is we love what we are doing and it satisfies our financial needs.

2092  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Question] Bitcoin to Fiat alternative on: May 01, 2023, 01:11:52 PM

Mayroon pa bang possible way para makapagconvert ng Bitcoin to Fiat or kahit hindi naman Bitcoin basta cryptocurrency to fiat.

2093  Economy / Services / Re: Forum space for rent > Signature, Banner, Website link on: April 30, 2023, 03:03:23 PM
You don't even follow forum rules, look you are posting consecutively you should merge your posts there are campaigns that accept junior members in the altcoin section you might stumble over a good project.

COMBO Network ex COCOS-BCX | 🚀 100k USD Worth of Tokens 🚀 LISTED is accepting junior members you can start here just follow the rules of the bounty maybe after a year you will rank up and become a good poster and you can offer your service, but be a good contributor of this forum first.
2094  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacker moved coins from my wallet on: April 30, 2023, 02:14:16 PM

I am clueless as to how this could have happened as like I said I had Malwarebytes on my laptop but despite that this incident happened.I know how dumb and idiot I look right now but I still can't wrap my head around how this could have happened.

Sorry for your loss Avirunes, you're not dumb and idiot, things like this happen just when we thought we are safe, I also thought that Malwarebytes is good for blocking intrusion but it's not you did the right thing securing your computer, and your account here in Bitcointalk.
You can still get back what you've loss Shasan is a good man he will understand and you can regain what you've lost, when you are ok and you figure out what really went wrong you can share and update so we can also learn from this.
I'm also an Electrum user but I seldom use it now after Julerz's story.
2095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is $30 dollars worth starting bitcoin? on: April 30, 2023, 10:23:29 AM
Someone ask me a question after introducing bitcoin to him, if he can start up with $30 and grow with it but I told him bitcoin is wide and high in volume, price and market, that's means whatever you're starting with determine the outcome of the market like for example; if you start with $30 and eventually the market goes up to a little increase of $32 can not be compared with someone who started same time with you, at the rate $100.

That's not the way to encourage people to invest, he can even start at $5 and check the progress of his investment, when he sees that it's growing or increasing he will add more, don't ask people to be greedy right away, its always been invest at the amount you can afford to lose

Quote
So also when the market is down to some extent, the person with $30 may likely loss more because of the money is small. Blockchain has the minimum amount one can invest if am not mistaken but if your amount is too small may be difficult to make easy progress.
If he is properly educated on investing he'll accept that fact, but let him invest at whatever amount he likes and what he thinks is comfortable enough, educate him more, and let him decide for himself if he wants to add more.

Quote
What do you think about my advice to him?
In my opinion, it's not good there was a time I gave a friend $5 as a starting point after a year he already invested over $5k and he is still good, so to encourage others to invest he gave them $5 as starting investment to see how it works and to learn how bitcoin works.
2096  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why Coinmarketcap and Coingecko help scammers ? on: April 30, 2023, 09:19:06 AM
So instead of the warning you want them to mark those reported as scams, in the first place they are not an investigator they are not the police they are market aggregators if reported they will post notifications about the status of the project, so investors and holders can exercise caution and take further necessary action.
Issuing a warning is already ok since they do not have all the evidence and they are not a judge to mark it as a scam, it's better this way than not having a warning at all, there are platforms where investors can check about the status of the coin they've invested.

2097  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone's using my video as bounty entry without my permission or consent on: April 29, 2023, 09:05:24 PM
People will say tag and others will say don't. I feel the tag is just as the user has shown he cannot be trusted to make a trade with as he is low enough to steal videos for a few tokens.

I tag him and hopefully cheezcarls' and my tag will help other bounty managers to not include him on their campaign and this make their job easier, bounty managers don't like cheaters in their campaign which is why bounty managers asked for POA and a link of your Bitcointalk profile and username to your work.
This guy is hoping that he can get away, he must have been doing this for quite some time because of his number of posts and participation in the bounty campaigns.
2098  Other / Archival / Re: Sinbad.io Mixer - secure, fast and easy to use on: April 29, 2023, 02:44:11 PM
Well noticed!

Users will me notified in case there are any significant changes like new domain addresses, Telegram links, etc
All official information can be found in the ANN and on the website it leads to
Everything else must not be taken seriously

Yes! and they're also redirecting people to a different telegram:

Code:
t.me/SinbadMixer

The real one as we have seen on the ANN is: t.me/sinbadio_english

Going forward, I would consider any other domain names not mentioned in the ANN as a phishing attempt since I imagine sinbad would update us on all their official handles as they are advertising here plus people get to be on the safe side this way. My advice is to bookmark the links and the ANN thread.

It really is a concern when phishing sites want to take the credit from the real one checking this

Code:
sinbadmixer.io
on whois they have an extension of their domain for 3 years I think the management should put a warning on the existence of these clones and phishing sites and check if they are on the right Sinbad mixing site, like what Pancakeswap is showing on their page.
2099  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: April 29, 2023, 11:41:52 AM
Have tested it on my current avatar and I like that they have a lot of options when it comes to the sizes, I have bookmarked and will definitely be one of my options, I hope you can sustain it, is this hosted on a dedicated server I hope you can find a way to monetize it either from donation or from ads.

Checking whois it's good to know that you have already paid two years for the domain, I'm sure if you opted for donation or showing ads it will cover before the domain expires, once traffic starts to increase you're going to get a lot of advertising offer

2100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losses In Gambling That Still Haunts You Until This Day on: April 29, 2023, 04:33:11 AM
Date/year: around 2017
Amount or Figure: 1~3 Bitcoin
What Game: mixed (dice, mines, blackjack)

at that time I deposit that amount and got a profit of around 2 bitcoin but when I try to withdraw sadly my deposit still not got any confirmation then I keep playing while waiting for my deposit got confirmation.
then the next I know is i got too many lost streaks then i make a big bet to recover all my loss but the bet was lost then all of my balance was gone just like that.

Thank you for posting and being honest I thought I'm the only one I too lost 4 BTC Bitcoin back in 2016 when Bitcoin was just over $700 I was a new player on dice of course the martingale is the culprit, I should have an insight back then that I just hold that Bitcoin imagine if I hold that 1 Bitcoin for just one or two more years.
Those years are when you have to extend your patience and have strong hands and insight, but sometimes greeds come first before insight
