Amazing, things like this is what Bitcoin needs...  Any possibility of selling game cash for say 1/2 the BTC -> Cash rate? =D
Hmm right now people are purchasing at the posted rate and it wouldn't be very fair to reduce the price.  It's pretty reasonable!

I think i can explain that better... if we could sell our in-game money for bitcoins = )  Just a high hope question...
Excellent option Smiley

I.. really really like that idea.  But perhaps it would be best if we had a cash -> BTC market where you could sell it to other users, not the bank, and then it would sort of be like an exchange.  I am adding new features literally daily and I think that is a fantastic idea!  I am also going to make it so you can post items for sale in bitcoin or cash, plus auction things off, purchase/sell houses all in Bitcoin.  Keep the great ideas coming!

I think this is a good reason not to put all your eggs in one basket-case exchange.  I have had good experience with CryptoXChange and I would suggest people to use multiple exchanges to minimize the chance that you get burned.
2085  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: If I wanted to start a Bitcoin casino... [will pay for help] on: January 23, 2012, 11:24:42 PM
Will your casino be security validated by a approved 3rd party ?

Its fairly easy to fire up a few games, but just like when secondlife was young, without validation, the users dont know how fair the games really are.

ie. its pretty easy to detect a user using double bet attack, and let them succeed a few times, before locking them in for a 50x lost bet.

In the real world slot machines are required to display their current payout pct, and it needs to be above xx%, but still if noone verifies the machine/script, you could print 99% payout pct and in fact payout less than that.

If users cannot trust that they are being treated as fairly as any other real life casino, I dont see it taking off bigtime.
Absolutely.  If there is a way to have a 3rd party approve it that would be the most legit way to do things.   I want to do this right.
2086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: goxxed reloaded: buy / sell button on: January 23, 2012, 10:57:38 PM
On CryptoXChange it's the same thing how it defaults to "buy" and there's no confirmation prompt after you buy, so if you wanted to sell high but you end up buying high *poof* your money is gone and you bought high.  Happened like 3 times, just learning to not rush placing orders...  I could see people doing this on a massive scale on 'Gox.
2087  Economy / Auctions / Re: btc-guild.com <-- domain name auction!! on: January 23, 2012, 10:56:58 AM
it wasn't like a flood of traffic, but a lot of people end up typoing it.  at one time i made a frame that displayed a google ad banner and the bottom frame loaded btc-guild.. but like days later btc-guild put "function breakout_of_frame" (you can see it in the first few lines of their source code) so I pretty much had no use for the domain anymore (plus Google Adsense banned my account at the same time!!) so I just put an animated gif of an old man falling up an escalator with a hit counter at the bottom.  I think there was like 500-600 hits to the counter in like 6 months.  I would install test forums, games, and other test sites on the domain to experiment before implementing them on a different domain.  It's probably immoral to put the frame with the Google Ad on it but it was a short-lived attempt at a free lunch which cost me my Adsense account.

2089  Bitcoin / Project Development / If I wanted to start a Bitcoin casino... [will pay for help] on: January 23, 2012, 02:14:14 AM
So basically I have the site Bitcoin Mafia.

I want to make it so that people can have a Bitcoin balance displayed on the site alongside the Mafia Cash so that people can purchase lottery tickets using bitcoin for a bitcoin lottery plus go to the casino and play actual bitcoin roulette to win/lose bitcoin.

I could probably implement this in a simple way but I don't know how to secure the code and make it so that it's safe for everyone.

Sites like bittleships and luckycoin casino make it look so easy to deposit/spend/earn/withdrawl bitcoin, and I was wondering if someone would help me set that up.

I have other ideas for uses of Bitcoin in the game, but I'll leave it at that for now and see what you guys think.

Something interesting in the video is the first person seen tweaking the code, username sirius-m.

Looking at the developer page, this user is listed 3rd.  How come sirius-m is seen messing with code before Satoshi?

looks like you spent the 10BTC..

I'd be interested in the card if it's reloadable.

Now seriously, I am thinking about putting together a bounty thread to change your avatar.  How much would it cost for something less vile?

So people would need to send their carts to you?
Nope. Trading can be done over Wi-Fi now.
Ahh gotcha.  What a cool Bitcoin service.  Smiley
