what are you fees?
I do not have any fees.
I will edit that in post to be clearer.
I tested this thread out a month ago trying to see where a good baseline would be for a service like this, it looks like little to no fees is a good point.
Many people complained about the fee ideas, so instead I will run off donations that can be donated to my btc address in my profile.

you say this is a test run correct, if successful with all numbers claimed. will you be selling tickets there after? sounds like a fun idea. Smiley good luck to all the players. in the first round. come on lucky number 9!
I will be selling tickets. I just don't know where I should start for prices/prize.
.01BTC tickets with a .1BTC prize (prize may be less than that due to transaction fees)

2087  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling RFID reader/writer Hardware/Bitcoins/Runescape rares/random items. on: March 19, 2015, 08:32:39 PM
Hey, I did some research on that escrow. I believe localbitcoins.com offers an escrow, I'm not sure about the fee differential. I believe that's the best option as well. I'd like to increase my feedback.
Try looking around the forum here. Your best bet is OgNasty on these forums. He is a great escrow, and has been around for a while.
Typically who is responsible for the fees? I highly doubt it's free.
It normally falls on the buyer, there are legitimate escrows that are free too. You just have to find the right one.
2088  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Spondoolies SP20E - 400$ include shipping on: March 19, 2015, 06:01:07 PM
I trade on Ebay more than 10 years so i can confirm my reputation.
If you can confirm your reputation like i am. we can deal via BTC.

I'm not the buyer - and the buyers reputation won't matter. The escrows will - and the ones around here know more about Bitcoin than either you or me.

Good luck: Please use escrow. Your eBay reputation means zero here.

Thank you you are right, I will close it tomorrow and I will post 10 messages every day in the forum to achieve your heights:-)
It isn't just that. It is also where you risk your BTC to a reputable trader. You can make posts, meaning you can contribute. But you can also trade, establishing a reputation for paying and making good on debts if you accumulate any.

If you are the 3G address on freebit, payout will be in 3 days. Also I don't have anything on freedoge yet.
2090  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New Diff thread Mar 8 to Mar 22. on: March 19, 2015, 03:03:25 PM
Well I agree with your SP20 but not really worth having 2 S3+ run just to make $1 a month. Most will just turn those off.

not true until the heat of the summer comes. then you need to cool the gear off.

Right now it is 33F in NJ and a lot of the mining world is still getting heat benefit from the miners.
A big guy with a lot of miners like the s-3 will be looking to sell them off to someone with cheap power. But the case for now is the price is holding at 252 not 198 so the rates of diff and hash do not get greatly reduced.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty  (-1.67%) BTC/USD: 255

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qmF2knc5rSrJLESgQJYBz8mPzpKihmSzPPQUGH7pT8g/edit#gid=204080645

(-1.51%)

maybe the 240 usd mark will scare off more new money or more expansion

maybe under 200 for about 1 entire adjustment  period will do a big drop.

right now about 490 blocks are left. numbers still work.   and the crazy growth of 10 % 15% 20 % 25 % jump after jump after jump seems to be done for now.

I would agree with crazy growth done for now.   Once the next gen chips are out will be interesting if some of the big companies bring back crazy growth.
Since chips have reached a pretty small manufacturing process, I would assume that there won't be large difficulty hikes. Maybe if 20nm or 16nm actually get tested, and work will we see a huge hike. Other than that the only thing that'll affect mining is prices, to cover for electricity, and older hardware dying off.
2091  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Spondoolies SP20E - 400$ include shipping on: March 19, 2015, 01:43:35 PM
Shipping to IL, 60090
PayPal preferred
You will not get anyone to sell through paypal.
1. You are a newbie.
2. You might reverse the payment, lots of people have been screwed.
3. Many use Bitcoin, or other safe ways that won't screw the seller

Edit: Not trying to be hard, just a warning that it will be harder to paypal rather than BTC.
2092  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling RFID reader/writer Hardware/Bitcoins/Runescape rares/random items. on: March 19, 2015, 01:49:37 AM
Is the RFID reader good for cloning a 125K card? If so, i'd be happy to purchase it.

That is exactly it's purpose. I have software I could send you a well if you purchase. Smiley
ok cool. what is the price for the reader/writer? We should use some sort of escrow for this as well

I'm asking for only 300 for the unit, it comes with accessories. I'm not sure what an escrow is.
Could you please explain to me.

I thought everything combined was $300? I'm a little confused what else you are selling. I just would like to purchase the reader/writer. An escrow is when somebody holds my funds until I get the item to make sure you don't screw me.

I'd be interested in buying some awesome 0.33 GH/w.
As well as delivering some ham and cheese sammiches.
2095  Economy / Collectibles / Re: PHYSICAL BITCOIN COLLECTION FOR SALE on: March 18, 2015, 05:54:32 PM
having a little trouble with postage, they are actually prohibited goods and only some companies can send them

sounds crazy to me but atm 1 coin posted is about 50usd, in other words filthy expensive

any ideas?
If you have many buyers in say the US, you could negotiate through an escrow to distribute them to the individuals in the US
2096  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius 10BTC Silver Round /w Gold B on: March 18, 2015, 03:41:58 PM
Too true -- the root of the problem is personal responsibility.

That said, the more I can encourage the use of PGP, the better!
Maybe bold red messages saying "check that I am the real *user*, if you are PM'd"

Plenty of threads with bold red "THIS IS THE ONLY PAYMENT ADDRESS" in the OP -- would be curious to know how many of those get targeted for scams.
I had a smoothie impersonator try to get me when I saw something was fishy. one he didn't have the proper signature, two he tried collecting money before the auction was over and three the address didn't match...
I find it funny that people try to scam, but also sad that there is such a large scam-account base.

2099  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: antminer s6 4500gh/s 1000watts on: March 17, 2015, 05:52:09 AM
BE300 could do it (if it existed) but I don't think it's possible with the BM1384. Yes, there'd have to be a new chip to get past 4TH/KW even board-level, let alone from the wall.
They will probably push as much power as they can out of current chips before manufacturing new chips. As new chips are a huge manufacturing cost, which might not be viable for them, yet...

Do you accept escrow and how long do the cards last before they expire.
