What's appalling about this?
You do realize there are people in that world that bet on dog fighting, cock fighting, human fights etc?
Just because people are betting on it, that doesn't necessarily encourage it, especially when it's something entirely out of our control like COVID19.
You must be extremely immature if you genuinely think there is something bad about betting on adverse events.
e.g. you can bet that more than 100,000 people will die of lung cancer next year, whether you want it to be true or not, you're unlikely to affect the result.

You all have interesting advice, we'll look into it.
I'm rather disgusted by the gatekeeping that came out near instantly. If you want Bitcoin to be successful, the worst thing you can do is make it a hostile community. I am more than keen to listen and address concerns; but many won't. You need to be constructive, or you're just making a shithole that no one wants to waste their time with.
This board is absolutely inundated with scam attempts, gate keeping is necessary when the mods don't actively delete scams. We're not being hostile, we are just skeptical, and want to keep the community here as safe as possible. When it comes to offering medical consultations, it's only natural that we want strong proof that your medical professionals are qualified to offer these services. You wouldn't believe how many pretenders and copycat platforms that spring up here on the forum.

Hello community
what u think about the project KNC? ( Kyber Network ) have potential? good investiment for long term?
Absolutely trash. It basically does exactly what Ethereum and Tron does, but barely anybody uses it. Seems like it still exists on Etheruem as an ERC20 token itself.... How on earth can anybody invest in a project that claims to act as an interoperable token launchpad, when it can't even launch its own manner, despite operating for three years? STAY WELL AWAY OP. This platform is almost certainly just a long-term money grab, since has no reached self-sustaining status. You might be able to net some quick wins every now and then with it, but just taking a look at its graph and you'll see a trainwreck that is down 85% from its all-time high. Good God stay AWAY.

There are plenty of people that offer to generate vanity addresses either for free or for a small cost.
Usually, this cost is proportional to the number of characters you want to specify in the address, e.g. 5 or 6 letters is quite simple and can be cracked with your home computer.
However, if you're looking for vanity address with 7 or more characters, then this is exponentially more difficult, and will require some serious hardware to crack.
In any case, it's best to do it yourself, since whoever generates your address for you will also have access to your private key (unless very specific methods are used).

Unfortunately, they are not the only one. But it's not their fault they are not working, casinos are closed due to governments decisions because of pandemic. So, to my opinion they have the right to compensation and governments should help casinos to pay their employees.
I disagree. I don't think it's the employers responsibility to pay their staff during the epidemic. Why would they? They pay their staff for their services, e.g. serving patrons, maintaining security etc. If they are not providing these services, why should they be paid? This is 100% on the government, not the individual businesses and corps that are losing customers. If companies are forced to pay employees now, they'll be bankrupt by the time everything reopens in a few months. That would not solve anything long-term.

Don't forget that everybody now has a new deposit address; "All users have new deposit addresses on all coins. Please use your most recent address located under Your account -> Deposit." I recommend double-checking that you have the right address before making a deposit, since Crypto Games has now moved to its new domain.
In other news, talk about completely dominating the high roller board! tmills everywhere. Though Teja767 has makes his usual appearance on the board too!

If this guy doesn't have the funds to gamble his own money, certainly don't trust him with yours. Hello everybody,
Should I lose, we can either restart and I will make it back, or I can give you your money back plus 20% in one weeks time. I can show proof of income.
This statement is extremely telling. The guy is offering to pay back your money, plus 20% even if he loses... So basically he's willing to pay a 20% interest rate for a week loan. If he's not an outright scammer, he is certainly dangerously addicted to gambling and will almost certainly burn through your money then vanish without a trace.

Yes, but when it is listed on Binance, it shows the quality and probably promising future. Because Binance is very strict about every new listing because they do not want to loose their credibility.
What part of Matic or Harmony screams promising future? Both are complete shitcoins that only succeeded because they were hosted by Binance. Had they attempted to raise money without Binance, they would have surely failed. The same goes for most launchpad projects, barring only BitTorrent perhaps. Remember Fetch (Fetch.ai)—absolute trash. Stay will away from launchpad projects for long-term gains, you'll get completely rekt.

Why not splurge a little and actually pay for an enticing domain, rather than one that ends in .info
This makes it look like your site is some sort of blog, rather than a casino....
Why not purchase a new .games domain? Maybe even Yolo.games if it's available.

As far as I'm aware, people will be getting 100% of their balances back in the original form they were lost in. e.g. if you had 0.2 BTC and 13 ETH, that's exactly what you'll get back. It appears that Cryptopias creditors (including the tax agency) are going to be the ones taking the hit on this. The website itself has a good breakdown of the current state of affairs: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/

Both Minereum and Livecoin are scams.
The amount of scam accusations against Livecoin is truly staggering, while Minereum sounds exactly like a Ponzi scheme, just built on blockchain.
Only the very earliest members will benefit, while the founders and designers will rack in the vast majority of any input funds.
Reminds me of the BS KickToken scam that I saw recently, where they frozen dropped 888,888 KICK tokens to ether addresses and pumped up the price, then dumped it all over everyone.
If it sounds dodgy, just avoid it.

Randomness and the house edge are actually working with each other, not against each other.
Casinos hope that you wager more and more, that way they increase the odds that your results will fall within the normal distribution.
A lot of people play into their hands by wagering extremely small amounts with a high frequency, meaning they're moving closer and closer to the expected distribution very quickly.
However, the really smart gamblers are the ones that bet big, but infrequently. That's why I pay more attention to the higher rollers than the small fish, and probably why the high rollers tend to come out on top more often than the auto-bettors.

Unless you have got an absolutely gigantic mining operation, mining solo simply isn't viable for most people.
The odds of successfully discovering a block is extremely low, considering that you'll contribute only a tiny fraction of the hash rate.
odds are that you'll only discover a block over several years, which means you'll need to pay electricity costs, maintenance costs and keep your hardware up to date over a long period of time before you eventually get rewarded.
Sure, you'll save the mining pool fee, but it's important to consider the time-value of money, and get your BTC earlier, rather than later, even if slightly reduced.

Looks like another option in a sea of telemedicine websites.
Is your USP Bitcoin payments, or it something else?
Also, do your Bitcoin rates fluctuate dynamically with the market rate, or are they fixed? So far, they seem to be fixed as they haven't changed in the few minutes I've had the site open.
The doctors all seem pretty legit, but you should probably set up a standard system for calls, e.g. set a specific tool e.g. Zoom or Skype, rather than leaving it ambiguous.

Why would your girlfriend get so worked up about you simply gaming?
Do you have a history of waking up in the middle of the night to gamble, e.g. are you waking up in the middle of the night to gamble sneakily? If that's the case, then you are likely suffering from gambling addiction.
Unfortunately, simply going cold turkey is unable to suffice, since gambling is a notoriously difficult addiction to just overcome like that.
Maybe take the time to explain the problem and work out a realistic way to cut down instead?

I think it's highly unlikely that Bitcoin will see an ATH before halving, although I certainly hope it does.
A more reasonable expectation might be something like 10-15% gains in the next 2-3 weeks, with a small fall-back shortly after the halving.
Historically, Bitcoin has achieved its greatest gains in the months and years AFTER the halving, whereas the days and weeks before have been bullish, but far less so.
Now is not the time to sell your BTC, that's for sure.

No wonder I feel, even in the past I also experienced events like this and the thing that I realized after having a lot of money from the many wins that have been achieved is that I feel I will easily win the bet until I finally have the courage to take bigger risks, Of course big odds and big bets are the main choices every time I bet, but in the end that arrogance led me to bankruptcy. So the reason for cases like this is about not having control and enormous greed that will certainly make us feel arrogant.
Normally big risks = low chance of winning the bet. Does that mean that you typically play low odds bets, which should mean you don't win very often right? Overall, I think people that play a lot of small bets are more likely to be in the hole than those that make a few big bets. That's just how probability works. You move closer to the expected distribution with the more bets you place.

To me, the future is now uncertain. I will never give up, but I am afraid a significant number of apparent supporters of Satoshi's vision would, leaving us with no more soldiers in our war. I am afraid that too many of the ones currently supporting cryptocurrencies are only doing it because they have the hope of getting rich one day and are capable of accepting any sacrifice as long as their hope would become reality.
But nobody realizes that the privacy we knew and our freedom are the wealth we've been taught to ignore for a lifetime.
Truth. Unfortunately far too many people are in Bitcoin for the sole purpose of getting rich. Only a small fraction of people actually transact daily in cryptocurrency, rather than using it for speculative purposes. However, it doesn't really matter. Over time, the network will continue to develop and get stronger, and when the time comes when the traditional economy collapses, Bitcoin will be built-up and ready for the task of taking over. So long as we can build Bitcoin to this point, no matter how, then it should still achieve its purpose when shit really hits the fan in the fiat world. " The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks" <- this was inscribed by Satoshi in the Coinbase of the Genesis block. Sounds a lot like the world today... So we've got some work to do because I don't believe Bitcoin is ready to handle the load of mass adoption yet.
