1121  Other / Archival / Re: Is there a crypto Poker site with decent traffic? on: February 04, 2021, 04:07:51 PM
I guess its quite hard. SwC really is dead and not trustworthy anymore. Betnomi also looks strange.

Nitrogen sports has poker but they rake is ENORMOUS and not so much traffic as well. Also very limited games, almost no MTTs and a lot of players colluding. I think there are even bots and house players on nitro so you should stay away.

Other than that I dont really know es well. Poker is still a real money people's game, only god knows why.

Thanks for your reply.
I will stick to fiat poker sites at the moment. Surely do not want to play on some shady sites where people are colluding.
You are right, better to stick to the places you know. I haven't yet been playing much but I know Crypto.games has a decent poker traffic and they accept BTC. Maybe worth a try? But if you're not familiar with most of the new casinos don't risk it!
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the people or group of people will buy the btc top ? on: February 04, 2021, 01:01:26 PM
There are a lot of people who for the fear of not losing out buy in when the trend is upwards. This goes for any coin not just BTC btw. Of course, this does not exclude the people who are new to trading and in general do guess work. You also have some people who strategies to do so just to push for another wave, that as you can deduce can sometimes go the wrong way. Hence, a larger group plus large capital would likely be more successful
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH keep breaking record and what happened to BCH? on: February 03, 2021, 11:48:07 PM
Will ETH break it to 2k?? and does anyone know what is going on with BCH? it's basically the only coin from the top ten lists that haven't raised and still remember when it always been higher than ETH, but now... Huh

I agree. BCH is extremely sluggish at the  moment with everything else pumping several times their original price. It's annoying also because I bought in and now I can't wait to see the trend moving already!
1124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using a trading bot? on: February 03, 2021, 11:26:16 PM
I'm using BitUniverse's Grid Trading Bot, and I think it's really good to buy low and sell high everyday for me, cause the market is fluctuating recently. More importantly, it's totally free and supports 20+ exchanges like Binance. Any more bots are you using? Please recommend.  Huh
I am currently using KuCoin's Trading Bot, you can access it on your mobile phone through app. Pairs like BTC & ETH have a very low minimum investment on KuCoin Trading Bot. They have Telegram Group where you can freely ask anything about how their trading bot work.
This is actually interesting. I've always considered the use of bots dangerous and just couldn't bring myself into entrusting a bot to do the trading for me but I'm starting to realize that a bot might actually be useful, specially when tracking several coins at once.

So, good thing you brought it up OP, it's giving people a different perspective and hopefully making a whole new approach more endearing.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum now on the 55th spot of top asset by Market Cap on: February 03, 2021, 10:05:39 PM
Ethereum is now on the 55th spot of top asset by Market Cap after it tops $1500 recently (new all time high).

https://assetdash.com/

Bitcoin though is on the top 10, but it's good to see Ethereum making big gains and it could break $2k or even more in the next month or two.
Yup, the news about ETH is sure to bring joy to many. It is really good to see it finally starting to move as I feel that at the moment ETH is extremely undervalued- come on, there are hundreds of cryptocurrencies that rely on the Ethereum network surely the main support should amount for something... I guess now it is a good time to see how high it can reach, could it go to 2K? I think it is highly likely  Grin
1126  Economy / Exchanges / Re: best place to trade BTC on: February 03, 2021, 09:16:54 PM
In my opinion,

crypto <-> crypto: Binance
fiat <-> crypto: your local exchange
I agree, of the many exchanges I've used I can only recommend Binance as the best place to start. There are other exchanges like Kucoin and Poloniex but it is not as easy to navigate around for a beginner, with practice and familiarity you will have no problem. Binance is a good place to start  Wink
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can play tricks on your mind on: February 03, 2021, 06:00:13 PM
Yeah had these scenarios for 7 years and haven't cashed out a bit. HODL!
Totally get you. As a crpyto investor you always think about what your future growth will be and whether you will be better off selling and then rebuying when it goes down. Unfortunately, this is the game you have to play when risking.
1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years later and people still don't know to use Bitcoin nor what it's good for on: February 03, 2021, 10:25:34 AM
Can you really blame people not really understanding BTC or what it is and used for when the media presents it as a no, no coin? I think not, entirely.

Yeah, there's ignorance for sure but we just have not made a clear enough statement as a community overall to give these people no choice but to understanding it. I think with time, this will become more and more the norm, but for now let's just say that most of the world is in its 'lag phase'  Roll Eyes

Quote
I have a problem,  that I bought previiously xrp and polkadot on crypto.com app, amd sent it to my Atomic Wallet. When I wanted to sell my coins back to crypto.com and from crypto.com to my bank account, I was attentioned that 1 DOT and 20 XRP must leave in my walllet.

This is how XRP works. You can't really withdraw the last 20 XRP - it's how they have the close in their smart contract. As for DOT this is new t me as I never tried to withdraw my DOT...

In any case, the best bet if you wanted to at least get your initial amount out is to wait it out, until DOT pumps enough to cover for this.
1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The day I entered the bitcoin market.... on: February 02, 2021, 05:35:40 PM
Congratulations for being a patient investor, man. I hope all those who doubted you will recognise that they're wrong and not turn their backs on you.

That's a prime example of how patience pays off. Though, I can see why others would think that this is going to end in a loss especially if they need the money fast. The only reason you managed to turn profit is because you waited years to reap the benefits others are expecting a faster turnaround. It's a lesson worth remembering and referring to...
1132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's early mined coins & the message left in the blockchain on: February 02, 2021, 04:16:43 PM

' Maybe Satoshi created the greatest prize competition and the privatekeys are somehow within the blockchain.'

This reminds me of the 'Ready player one' plot presented in the first book, where Haliday is the equivalent of Satoshi now. If indeed there is an encrypted treasure hidden that would be exciting  Grin
1133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $50k by the end of 2021? on: February 01, 2021, 10:01:17 PM
For the first time ever, Bitcoin reached a new All-time-high (ATH) of $40k per coin. Those who held Bitcoin since 2017 (or before) would've made a lot of money by now. Unfortunately, prices have stalled as Bitcoin is stuck between the $30k - $32k range. It could be the cause of whales buying the dip to pump the price at a later time. Whatever the reason for the price drop, Bitcoin is still much more valuable than what it was a couple of years ago. If the pandemic continues to take the world by storm, we may continue to witness new ATHs in price.

All of this makes me wonder, will Bitcoin will reach $50k by 2021? If it does, 2021 will prove to be Bitcoin's biggest year with astronomical returns for early investors. Right now could be the perfect buying opportunity while Bitcoin is still in the $30k range. What are your thoughts? Huh

yes, you better buy Bitcoin right now, because I'm sure the price of Bitcoin will reach $50k this year, but if the price of Bitcoin doesn't reach $50k and you've bought Bitcoin, then you just need to be patient and hold your Bitcoin, because I believe the price of Bitcoin will definitely increase and give you a big profit, even I am sure if in the future the price of Bitcoin can reach $80k or more than that, because Bitcoin has become a popular investment and is in demand by many people to be a long-term investment, therefore I believe the price of Bitcoin will continue to increase very high.

It depends on someone's priority right now, whether he can invest in btc for long term or short term.
But the 50k value is I believe more than possible to happen as we already hit 40k at the start of this year.
I agree. 50K for Bitcoin by the end of the year is a given. This is why you need to decide if you can afford to buy now when BTC is lingering around 30K before it reaches yet another milestone. Obviously this depends on case by case, but if you can then you'd be sorry not buying in now.
1134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin of America Expands to 600+ ATMs on: February 01, 2021, 05:50:18 PM
Getting into the Bitcoin ATM host program is quite an attractive venture for businesses. The cryptocurrency’s demand is rising rapidly, and hosts can rely on this to create increased traffic to their businesses. Moreover, Bitcoin of America advertises the ATMs’ locations on various digital channels, further increasing the exposure of the hosts.

Currently, Bitcoin of America has listed all 600+ bitcoin ATMs on its website. Other websites such as Coin ATM Radar also list the Bitcoin ATMs’ locations both in the United States and globally.

This is exciting to see and hear about. Bitcoin ATM's will be the next candy box at a store. More and more people hear about Bitcoin but when they see these installments at their local store is banned not only to raise awareness but also encourage people to use it despite them never hearing about crypto. All in all, this is positive news.
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Japan Support XRP on: February 01, 2021, 03:05:57 PM
Makoto, a Japanese entrepreneur and XRP investor told Coin base that he is not selling his XRP share. There is a couple of reason for that,
the most common is that it's a popular crypto coin in Japan. Kayamori also said, "XRP has a strong global fanbase, and a lot of people see this lawsuit as an attack on virtual currencies in general".
Soon the XRP will gain a good high and the predicted price for the XRP is $1 in the upcoming time, but the current market situation is very un-stable and un-predictiable.
Please read the complete report here:https://finance.yahoo.com/news/japan-rallies-behind-xrp-ripple-230056022.html
Well, even with the lawsuit I still know people who hold dear to their XRP. Is this wrong, I think the answer depends on what their long term goal is. XRP indeed has a large userbase and it might persevere despite the lawsuit. It is at all possible that it could reach its ATH... and for people like me, I have no problem with the crypto itself, its all about usability at the end of the day, the name of the coins doesn't matter!
1136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, will all the order get filled? on: February 01, 2021, 07:49:17 AM
Imagine, I have put stop loss order for one crypto at $0.301, is it possible that if no one put a buy order at this price, my order will not be filled? I don't know how it works in such cases. Although the event is very unlikely to happen but, technically it's possible that no buyer put an order at $0.301
What will happen to my order?
You are right. If there is not buyer for the price set on your stop loss there will be no filling of the order. This is why, when putting a stop loss you need to give some degree of difference between the trigger conditions and the execution otherwise your order could just be skipped through.
1137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS Gold - What is better for long term investors? on: January 31, 2021, 11:18:04 PM
Without questions -Bitcoin.
Gold has not been going up despite people plugging in their lief savings during this pandemic. Gold is no longer the standard, cryptocurrency is.

Bitcoin has by far the greater potential for an exponential rise, much more than gold. Therefore for a safe bet on future investment, investing into BTC would be more effective for capital gain than gold. In my opinion, gold era is near its end.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: January 29, 2021, 11:52:33 PM
Doge coin sudden price increase is a good indication that altcoin season will happen soon. It is one reason also to hold our altcoins as far as we can. Maybe I'm gonna take an eye to this coin for another week and I hope it will show more greater market performance.
I agree. The surprising movement of DOGE indicates that the altcoin season is about to start if not already because why else will anything pump like >400% if it wasn't close to the alts season. I'm incredibly surprised to see how much DOGE has gone up, not much of a reason either - it just pumps like mad... Those that got in early must really enjoy this.
1139  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦺 BK8.com 🦺 Asia Biggest and Most Trusted Brand 👛 BTC & USDT 👛 on: January 29, 2021, 09:22:06 PM
They managed to attract Robin van Persie as ambassador of the site. So it will all be legal and reliable. I only expected a much better website, especially graphically better and a lot clearer.

It doesn't seem like a betting site at all now, just an informational page. If van Persie is your ambassador, you could have reached much more than the page you have right now.
You have a point about Persie being part of the team. If this is whats already been done, it makes you wonder if the alliance is legit or not.
Possibly yes, but you can't be too trustful when you read stuff online.
I suppose it is only a matter of time until more gets done and the team really puts in the effort. tempted to day the launch of the website was a little premature but I guess is better to release something even if its work in progress...
1140  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to make Bitcoin reach $400k on: January 29, 2021, 08:22:48 PM
It is a stretch as most of the large companies still don't believe in BTC. So I'm not seeing this happening any time soon.

You are right that a large amount of money needs to be put into the market to drive the price but when companies look for more certainty than BTC can offer, this no longer remains an option. Not that this has been normal until only recently, so a change in mentality is also needed.
