2081  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: February 11, 2022, 09:41:08 PM
Here's some similar scenario but this one only talks about 35 BTC.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1340581.0

It was on Rollin.io which is already dead or down as of this moment.Nothing on this world is unhackable no matter how tough the security would be. Tongue

But in the case of the casino, once it's hacked that's the end of that casino, only big casinos offer refunds or protect their player's money compared to exchanges where they can do a refund and insured their trader's money, I don't think there's the same guarantee that they can offer that they will do a refund.
I think the main reason why casinos fail after a big hack is that they lose the trust of their customers, even if there was a big hack as long as a business still retained their customers somehow then a path to recovery exists, but many players when they see that their preferred casino has been hacked even if they were not affected they are going to be reluctant to play there anymore, which causes casinos to definitely close their doors.
Once trust and confidence is broken then there's no way that it could be returned or recover and this is the part of reality on which people would normally be having those kind of insights after an incident do happen because it is really just part of human instincts on finding a place which is something that more of secure than on the recent one that they engaging on which its a normal step for them to find
another place which doesnt really have some hacking incidents or histories. They dont like to experience the same thing twice but its true that getting hacked once doesnt mean that their security
wouldnt really be have an improvement but in most cases or most common impression would be something contradictory.
2082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: February 11, 2022, 08:50:31 PM
Many people forget that most airdrop hunters are also investors, they know updates so if they believe they will invest, and I used to be airdrop hunters and often buy in projects that I follow and know well.

That's true airdrops are created to increase awareness of the project, if the project is good airdrop participants will buy more of the token, who would not want to invest in a coin with good potential and let the opportunity pass, so developers should also treat airdrop participants as supporters and potential investors and developers should not worry about dumps because if his project has potential investors will support the project.
Could neither both ways and i could also tell that bounty hunters are not totally beggars and some of them does have the finances to make out investment.Just like me in the past
on which i do get involved with bounty hunting and it do includes airdrops and i dont just tend to recieve the coins that ive been engaging but also make out some research if it
is really that worth to engage or not because success rate on airdrops is really just too slim and only the best projects could really be having the chance on rising its value
in near future even though its not an assurance but at least you had done your part.
2083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making valentine's day memorable with bitcoins. on: February 11, 2022, 07:58:57 PM
February 14th is very much celebrated worldwide as valentine's day, a day to show love, not just to our loved ones but to everyone. I'm thinking of doing something memorable for my loved ones and maybe any other person, something bitcoin related. Suggestions please, how can I and us all make valentine's day a memorable day with bitcoins?
You could give them bitcoins but it would be much more appreciated if you do let them know even with the basics so that they would really able to like on what you have given.
IF you are planning on making out some bitcoin gifts then you could simply tell them about first before February 14 on which you do teach them about the basic principle
but of course you wouldnt really be giving out some hints that you would really be giving them on this upcoming holiday or event of this month
because if they do able to know at least then they would appreciate on what you have given.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BABYLONIA.APP WHERE THE FUN STARTS on: February 11, 2022, 12:33:14 PM
So it's not yet a working platform and I see on the website that it is still on a crowdsale stage phase. I think this topic is suitable in Announcement section, you can use the option at the bottom part of the thread but don't worry once your website is functioning and can be used by players/gamblers you can create an Announcement thread here again in the gambling section.

But still welcome to the Bitcointalk Forum.
Try to access it out
https://game.babylonia.app/Bingo_Game/Bingo_Game.html

This one is really looking interesting when it comes to sound effects plus the animation. If they are still on crowdsale then i
do see that this one could really pull off some interest.
2085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 10, 2022, 11:19:04 PM
Usually something like this is depends on the employees. Because they will do anything with the money after they get it either it is fiat or BTC. If me i prefer to give them fiat and educate them about bitcoin so they free to choose want to make investment or not. Because although we give them wallet and BTC, they will sell it to fiat immediately if they not interested.

That's true but that may not only be the reason. Some of them might outrightly not want /need crypto and would prefer to receive their stable fiat salaries. Another point to look into is the issue of legality of bitcoin in their jurisdiction just so they don't unknowingly bring more implications for themselves. Some employees too might not have the basic /fundamental technical skills required to understand some core concepts like how blockchain works and how they can get custodial of their tokens and still maintain security.
And include those people who doesnt really like complicated things and to those people who do trust up fiat that much and whenever they do hear out something which is out of their
awareness then they would definitely call it shady and wont tend to engage it out whenever someone suggest something new but for those who are knowledgeable
at least would really be having different input but it would all depends on the company owner if he do sees fit but if not then it would be still his decisions.
2086  Economy / Speculation / Re: Always have an exit strategy on: February 10, 2022, 10:18:51 PM
I think for long-term investors the exit strategy is not a wise choice when the bitcoin price correction is taking place as it is today. If you believe in bitcoin fundamentals over the long term, a bitcoin correction as it is today is normal and healthy. Instead of complaining that the bitcoin price correction is very deep, you can actually use it to buy at a low price.

Going away from dip by exiting isn't a bad strategy to cut off from lose because you don't know how far it can dip. So staying outside is another trading pattern that can allow you buy and start up afresh when the correction is done. That type of pattern will guarantee profit taken from top and profit sweeping from below.
If the goal is in the short term, a trading strategy like yours can be used to make a profit by buying when the price drops and selling when the price rises slightly from the initial capital issued. but I prefer in the long run by buying when the price is low and holding it then selling only when the price goes up 2x.
Depends on someones preference because trader could neither go for long term or short term but we couldnt avoid the fact that you could easily get 2x in short time if you do make out short trades.
The thing here is that it would really be hard and nothing simple thats why we do really commit out mistakes which is normal to take thats why it would really be depending on your own
preference and since not all would be having the same skills and knowledge thats why profitability will really vary on how someone would really engage out thats why
outcomes would be totally different.
2087  Economy / Gambling / Re: NITROGEN SPORTS | safe. anonymous. the future of betting. ✅💰 on: February 10, 2022, 09:16:12 PM
Self-exclusion should be taken seriously by gambling sites. But seriously, they can't break an iron with hands either. If you allow yourself to be excluded from a site, and you then create a new account through an alternative way to gamble, the site can't do much about it. Someone who likes to gamble will sooner or later always gamble, I suspect. There is very little that can be done about it.

I've actually started treatment, so while your statement is correct, this should be handled on an individual basis. When an account asks to self-exclude, it should be cut off immediately. Whether or not the cycle of creating new accounts continues or not is COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT of the request to self-exclude, which should always be honored - immediately - regardless of ANY OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES.
But still it do ends up on blaming the site because they had deposited again then lost their money again and again. If they do decide on making new account their its their
decision and theres no such thing about being irresponsible on gambling sites which people do really tend to show off.Once you do decide to self exclude then it would
automatically means that you do cut off from the site then why you would tend to make out deposits again?
It is on your own will and there's no one you could blame but only yourself.

No, that's wrong. It's on an account by account basis. If someone self excludes and then creates another account and asks to self exclude again, the site has no responsibility for the money lost between those events. If, however, the site refuses to honor a self exclusion request and continues to take wagers, then it's their fault. Otherwise, why even have self exclusion or say that you support responsible gaming?
Normal for gambling sites fault if self exclusion wasnt granted on the time the user do request for that thing then its irresponsibility but if its done well but the user
had made out new accounts just to play again then the problem would really be on the user itself, no matter how many self exclusion request would be granted
if he wont able to quit up his addiction then the cycle would really continue no matter what.
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: School Students learning bitcoin basics in Slovakia.. on: February 10, 2022, 08:09:48 PM
This is superb! I love seeing education like this, I do think honestly that they are not interested in it on that age, though some of them will still remember this education and will have a step ahead in the financial world Smiley
Good thing that it wasnt banned on there on which it was been part of the curriculum which is really great and this isnt something that you could really see often on which
institutions would really be allowing this kind of teaching but it seems that the youth do shows up some interest and this one is really a good step on  making adoption
and recognition goes higher and its good that they do start up on very young to have some good grasps speaking on this crypto market not only on its
investment manner but also into its real use case.

2090  Economy / Economics / Re: MENTAL HEALTH ANG WELLBEING on: February 09, 2022, 10:29:44 PM
I can only say that the whole situation with the pandemic is temporary. Many people lost their jobs, some lost their loved ones, but life does not end there. Soon the situation will settle down and countries will gradually begin to restore the standard of living of their citizens.
It would really be a never ending situation and there's always a rainbow after a storm and people should really have this kind of mindset.Yes, it isn't simple as it sounds but we need to.
We cant just sit and wait for us to die in hunger or being sick due to depression or worrying up too much.We should move forward and find out on things that we must do.
Make yourself able to handle out this very hard situation because every problem does have its own solution. This is indeed a temporary situation.

None of us know when we will be able to breathe in a COVID free world. When will I live free from the panic of the virus?

Many are mentally disturbed while living in lockdown, especially students. You know, educational institutions have been closed for about 18 months since the coronavirus infection. And a number of teenage students have suffered from depression at home for a long time. Many have chosen to commit suicide because of stress.
We are nearly there.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-02-09/denmark-covid-19-pandemic-becomes-endemic/100814004

We are all hoping for this pandemic to end and would go back into our normal lives yet its been couple of years we are on this situation on which it do feels that
we are tied on the neck. Now there are already some signs that it would turn out to be endemic which is at least a good news for us that this problem
or crisis we are facing is slowly going down.
2091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: February 09, 2022, 09:26:18 PM
The Forex market is far more volatile than the stock market, and experienced and dedicated traders can easily make profits. However, Forex also has a higher level of leverage and fewer traders tend to focus less on risk management, making it a riskier investment that can have adverse effects.
Dont know where  you do get this idea or information unless if you are just making some speculative and doesnt actually have knowledge on what forex market is all about
You should read up at least on these articles and you might realized yourself on what you are saying.

2092  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you manage gambling addict by taking drugs? on: February 09, 2022, 08:09:28 PM
I was with one of my old friends yesterday and he was addicted to football gambling to the extent that he is finding it very difficult to sleep and do normal activities. He has won some of betting he has played on but correctly want to give it some time off. He is asking for general advice if drugs can help.
You are making things worst because taking drugs was never a solution whether you are tending to fight gambling addiction or just talking some problems in life which it isnt really
that worth for you to consider out.YOu could quit up gambling addiction without adding up more problems knowing that drugs could really even make you addicted even more
which doesnt really talks about mental health but also your overall body condition which i do see for it to be a very dumb kind of consideration for having this option.
2093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: February 08, 2022, 11:30:51 PM
-snip
Decentralized is very easy for the family to have access to their late husband bitcoin wallet without going to court to collect death certificate before they can have access to their father bitcoin wallet.

Cheesy it seems very funny to me,
Yes, I agreed, It reminded me of how corrupt society we are.
When the main breadwinner of the family dies, if he does a DPS for the family, only the aggrieved family can understand how much suffering it takes to withdraw it.
Bitcoin can relieve us of all these problems. No Death Certificate will be required to withdraw the funds if someone handover the wallet files to his family before the death.
But the only problem you would really be having is to teach them on how to access those coins on the time you pass away which would really require out some basic
teaching about those needed information but the question is, how many people would tend to do so? Explaining or telling them about your wallet keys when you are still
alive? For sure you would really be hesitated on doing so thats why some people do end up on locked funds because they didnt to do so earlier.
2094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe we found a way to avoid taxation!!?? on: February 08, 2022, 10:26:07 PM
Best thing you can do to eliminate all risk is just leave India. Emigrate to a country with 0% tax on crypto. There are plenty around if you do your research, it’s not hard to find.
Easy to say but not all would really be willing on the country where they do live in or where they get used to be but if you do have crypto assets which is really worth to transfer on other countries
then its your choice to make if you do see that 30% taxation is too much which is truly inhumane and if you are really that having main source of income from crypto
then you would really be having this kind of consideration on getting this option yet 30% deduction is really too much.
2095  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: February 08, 2022, 09:25:16 PM

As long the manager hadnt really made out some announcement of being finished or over then presumably it would continue on next week and speaking with casino
based type of signature campaign then there's really a tendency that it could really go for long term which good news for those people who do able to get in.
Campaign payment credited on sites account neither does have behind motives or not but it wont matter that much.

I'm sure they can keep up the promotion there are few campaigns that really last very long and Gamdom will be one of the few who can run a long campaign I like the positive reviews from https://gamblingbro.com/gamdom-review/and the potential of Gamdom, many are questioning the number of users but they will not post it if they do not have that to back it up, this is a casino to watch out for this year and they launch it at the right time.
Well, you do actually have the point because those long time running campaigns we do have now do really start up like this on where people do have some hindrance whether it would last out or not.
We couldnt tell because it would really be depending or varying on the results of their marketing by launching a campaign here neither they would get sufficient users to make this promotion
last for long time thats why its hard to judge but basing on what i do observe then most likely they are really going into that path.
2096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market sentiments ? on: February 08, 2022, 08:58:40 PM
I'm not a financial adviser, but if you have limited funds and have used it already then no need to buy more. Just buy if you have the money and don't force and make things complicated for you.

I mean if you buy like $40k, then just hold on those bitcoins and not sell (obviously you are at a loss if you sold today). And look at the future, in the next bull run your bitcoin is going to be worth more, just saying.
You are giving good advice but very few people are able to follow it, during the 2017 bull run there were many people that bought at the 19k level and then when the price began to go down they panicked and sold their coins.

Back then there were many posts like that and those that could see the big picture told those people to hold their coins and yet they did not, if they had held their coins even now they would have doubled their investment in just a few years, there are very few assets around the world that can do something like that, so while your intentions are good very few people wll follow your advice.
Only diamond hands would really able to profit out because they dont easily freak or panic out whenever they do see some declines.Although this would talk in test of faith because we cant be sure on
when recovery does happen which would be always a question if i would say and this had been always been the case or situation that we could see into this market.People would react directly on
what are the things they are currently experiencing or seeing and act directly without having those presumptions or thinking carefully whether its a right call or not.
2097  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting Used to The Market Situation is The Key to Becoming a Reliable Trader. on: February 08, 2022, 08:23:38 PM
Well, definitely it is. When you're used to the market, you're aware of how it goes and it's like an easy thing to you anymore. That's what happens when we're used to things. Being reliable depends on how good you are, how experienced you are.
And with what you've experienced, everything is going to dependent to you and when you end up with good results, that only means that there's something that you get to understand as you trade.
It would really be just normal that whenever you are really aware on how things do works or on how it do behaves then you wouldnt really easily freak out
which it would really be just normal for you to deal off with and thats really one of they keys on which you could able to handle yourself well into this
place  or anything you are tending to engage on.Real life experiences on certain things will give out some idea and true engagement
which would really make you learn.
2098  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: February 07, 2022, 11:37:36 PM
This is an important point that we want as gamblers with this the casino can build its own reputation total users is not a guarantee
The only thing lacking here is a moderator luckily the campaign participants can help the thread go up  if there is any information they can share it here
The first week of the signature campaign ended last Sunday based on the manager's announcement, so maybe we'll see how participants get paid and how they experience with withdrawals from the site. I just think that in order to build a good reputation the casino and its owners need to have good competition among other casinos.

Gandom invests quite a lot of money to pay the signature campaign participant, they should also be able to get a good return on the effectiveness of the campaign they run. As I know Gandom is not a new casino as they have also run signature campaign in the past managed by the same manager [cmiiw]. There is hope that they will be successful in getting a lot of visitors to their casino if their investment in the campaign is carried out over the long term like some other casinos today.
Gamdom puts the reward into the account is so that someone can try to play there, and I guess with the return of the campaign being active it is to increase their traffic and it will definitely be worth what they paid for the participants of the signature campaign, I don't know if this campaign will it continue or indeed for one week after I check the spreadsheet, it has just finished sheet1 and hasn't made sheet2 yet.

But I guess I should try betting again and here sports betting is also available, maybe I want to put it here Gamdom.
As long the manager hadnt really made out some announcement of being finished or over then presumably it would continue on next week and speaking with casino
based type of signature campaign then there's really a tendency that it could really go for long term which good news for those people who do able to get in.

2099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Bitcoin on: February 07, 2022, 10:35:44 PM

Now that I have one Bitcoin

congrats buddy, this story makes me excited to choose bitcoin as my long term investment even though I don't have 1 full bitcoin yet, maybe slowly it will be achieved, once again thank you for sharing your story and experience
Not all would really be having that kind of chance on accumulating a whole coin and considering that not all are financially capabled then its not surprising that lots still have not possess such amount.
The value itself couldnt even be afford by most of us aside to thsoe who are really that rich.. 44k usd isnt something that can be afford but thankfully we could really
accumulate in fractions if you are really that serious on going for long term or even on short term aspect.
2100  Economy / Economics / Re: India's 30% tax on income from digital asset on: February 07, 2022, 09:30:30 PM
30% is really a lot.
A lot really which you could tell that it is already non ethical for the government to impose such percentage even if they do know that they are doing this for tax and economic
development coz everything could be done without imposing this high tax neither on typical industry or just simply focusing on crypto alone which it would really be much
better if they do ban it rather than accepting it but having these tremendous taxes but even though despite of the condition then people could still find ways
on how they would able to avoid this one.
