2081  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Neteller can be a collateral? on: July 13, 2015, 03:54:27 AM
Don't know where to post this message.
Does neteller can be a collateral?

neteller account or just funds? i think both is not a valid collateral but maybe there is someone willing to accept it as collateral

i dont know about neteller funds; if funds trnasfered by it are reversible im going to assume no. I havent seen neteller accounts for sale on this forum so I dont know what to say about accounts.
2082  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the best Bitcoin debit card? on: July 13, 2015, 01:47:03 AM
As far as i have seen here on the forum there is bit-x debit card? am i right? fees wasn't so cheap

compared to fees of most major credit card companies, they arent that much different. smaller userbase means a slightly higher fee so that bit-x can make some money for providing this service.

admits he bought the LBC account here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1115060.msg11828316#msg11828316
archived in case of edit: https://archive.is/9meGT

LBC scours this forum searching for threads involving LocalBitcoin links. A mistake I made was that I posted the link to my profile, and it was brought up on that same thread that it was bought. They locked the account and banned it. It wasn't due to fraud, Mr. Detective

And, I would love if you contacted each person who has left me trust and asked them if I bought it.

i assume by this he was implying that the LBC account wasnt bought, which contradicts with the post linked above.

edit: hes buying lbc accounts again: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1120118.0

2085  Economy / Gambling / Re: stay far, far away from vegascasino.io on: July 13, 2015, 12:30:28 AM
I suggest you to don't play any of these "casinos", better play Primedice or LuckyB.it if you want to gamble Smiley

plenty of these casinos besides PD and luckybit are legit, 777coin for example has some great games and a reputation.
2086  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★ +1.5M bets ★ +73k BTC wagered on: July 13, 2015, 12:29:55 AM
Luckybit, the blockchain spam doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon, so what is your upcoming plans?

Well, im not experiencing difficulties in my transactions to get confirmed now compared to last week as long as my fees is .0001 the least and above so i think luckybit can open now the bet engine

Me too. But if you read the Bitcoin discussion section you can see many people with tx's unconfirmed for many days.

ive had my transactions unconfirmed for 3+ days because of the stress tests, I wouldnt be surprised if there are still a few unconfirmed ones.

2088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have 0.02 btc , want to invest on: July 12, 2015, 11:27:28 PM
Hello from India,
i am new on this forum but i have been earning bitcoin from faucets over last year.
i have 0.022 BTC with me , i hear a lot of people saying to join campaign how can i do that , i have 0.022 BTC want to invest to get profit, please help me.

You can Buy some crytpos at lower prices and sell them later at higher prices. Send your coins to an exchange (Poloniex) and buys some cryptos: You better look for the markets with the most volume! example = Nxt, LTC, Monero...

more precisely you are advised to play trading, but trading is less precise for him if he is less good at analyzing, then he will lose it

that's a given, but its also wise to keep in mind the fees associated with trading, these fees can affect the already marginal profits you might get from trading too.
2089  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: July 12, 2015, 11:25:19 PM

2090  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Sr. Member Bitcointalk Account - 0.18 BTC on: July 12, 2015, 07:27:40 PM

This is the best way you can do for now. You can only get little amount if you have no signed message. One more thing, saying this things looks like you are in a hurry selling this account. Are you sure this isn't hacked?

It's not like he'd admit that the account is hacked.

judging by how op is avoiding the question, id say its likely that the account is hacked.

2092  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the best Bitcoin debit card? on: July 12, 2015, 09:18:38 AM
im not affiliated with bit-x besides being in their signature campaign, but ive actually heard some great things about their debit card from a few friends of mine, they use it to withdraw fiat money from ATMs using the bitcoin balance on their bit-x accounts. I havent tried it myself but id say its worth looking into.

There are card by Xapo, Bit-x and few other site, But the Problem is that, their Fees, Which is I think really High.
Lets talk about Bit-x:
If I cashout my btc through the card it take more than 20$ for each month. Because If I don't do five transection they will deduct .05 BTC for inactivity, and If i cash out for 5 times in each month then 5x .01+ 3% ( .05 +3%) fees will be deducted  Tongue Roll Eyes.
And If I exchange my money through some other exchanger It only takes 5$ not more than that. Im not much familiar with xapo, but have the feeling that it will also the same as the bit-x.

thats true as well, in fact heres a list of the fees for the xapo card: https://support.xapo.com/95219-What-fees-are-associated-with-the-Xapo-Debit-Card
but why do they charge that much

these companies arent running a charity service; companies are for-profit entities and this is one service they offer to generate revenue. compare this to most major credit card companies that usually charge a flat fee in addition to a % fee of each transaction: http://www.merchantmaverick.com/the-complete-guide-to-credit-card-processing-rates-and-fees/

its not that much different.
2093  Economy / Services / Re: Playtodos.com Signature Campaign [Open] [Edited rates] on: July 12, 2015, 09:04:09 AM
Rates are great, Now what about Escrow?

i mentioned it earlier in the thread, but op seems to be dodging the question, but i hope not and is working on contacting escrow. with the higher rates, there is more btc risked for people in this campaign.

list of escrows: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0

contacting devthedev might be a good idea, since dadice's campaign is shutting down he should be free to escrow this campaign.

2095  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get free bitcoin? on: July 12, 2015, 08:21:44 AM

imo the work to pay ratio in these get paid to sites is horrible, and no, youre not allowed to post reflinks.
2096  Economy / Services / Re: Playtodos.com Signature Campaign [Open] on: July 12, 2015, 08:18:31 AM
escrow ?
seems there isnt an escrow for this campaign, but it'd be highly recommended that op does find an escrow for this, it would ensure people enrolled in this campaign get paid and would let people feel safe about joining this campaign without the fear of not getting paid. being a new campaign, i would highly recommend finding escrow asap.
2097  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: The irrational appeal of faucets on: July 12, 2015, 08:04:16 AM
id think that the people that continue to defend faucets are usually unaware of other more efficient ways to obtain bitcoin for minimal effort; posting on this forum being one of the more lucrative methods.
2098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: July 12, 2015, 05:56:44 AM
So today i was able to sell a few collectibles i got pretty cheap on a goodwill store on ebay for 10x the price i got them for, i offer the person a discount of 10% if they paid in bitcoin and done made some bitcoin out of a small 20 dollar investment.

thats pretty cool how you got your customer to agree with you; didnt even have to wait for funds to be released from paypal!
2099  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying Bitcoin with Chase Quickpay on: July 12, 2015, 01:17:08 AM
While sending cash through the mail may not be a good idea, it isn't illegal to send cash through the mail

http://classroom.synonym.com/postal-laws-sending-money-mail-17208.html

illegal and "bad idea" are two entirely separate things, squilly here doesnt seem to understand that. just because its legal doesnt mean im willing to send money in the mail. payday loans are legal, but it doesnt mean im going to take out a stupid loan with 400% apr. for-profit colleges are legal, but it doesnt mean im going to throw my money at one. synthetic marijuana is legal, doesnt mean im going to smoke it.
2100  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying Bitcoin with Chase Quickpay on: July 12, 2015, 01:10:47 AM
Why don't you use do a bank wire transfer from like coinbase or something. Or you could try localbitcoins. Money is hard to come by these days and I don't think it is unreasonable that people are cautious with it.

Also I would like to bring up a point. If a random person claiming to be a Nigerian prince does the general Nigerian scam like crap, is he still a scammer if he hasn't scammed anyone yet. In addition is it unreasonable for people to call him a scammer if the so called Nigerian prince hasn't scammed anyone yet but is exerting scam like behaviors?
I see what you're inferring. I honestly don't see what behaviors I'm exhibiting that are tell-tale signs of a scammer. I've done 300+ exchanges on another forum (PM me for my Excel spreadsheet) and I know what to look out for. You all point out generalizations, although it is vastly different elsewhere. To answer the nigerian prince scenario, it's reasonable not to deal with him due to warnings online, shady english/language and common sense for sending money overseas...
You are trying to buy bitcoin with something that is very much reversible. The fact that you are a brand new account means that the financial/repetitional incentive for you to not attempt to scam is very low. There are a large number of scammers on here that have caused people to be rightfully paranoid about accepting these kinds of payment methods.
I do have cash. I just don't partake in those services (WU, MG, wire, etc). No one locally sells though.

Why don't you buy a USPS money order or a Cashiers check with cash and then buy bitcoin by mailing these in the mail?
Because that's
a. shady as fuck
b. illegal (or is just sending cash illegal?)

I'd rather take my chances with a nigerian prince than do that.

why in the fuck would usps, an agency of the US government, offer money orders if it was illegal? do you even realize what youre saying here? money orders are a secure form of payment: https://www.usps.com/shop/money-orders.htm
