2081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: October 24, 2016, 05:35:11 PM
who cares about a GUI? XMR is clearly on bear mode and will be for the next months

Exactly XMR is an absolute beast of a coin and cannot be stopped.
Just look at that trade movement !  Cool

I have got it working now but not under the staking tab it says the network weight is 0 ?
Why is it saying this ? It can't be zero since I can't be the only one staking.

you can try going into the debug console
type
getstakinginfo

but my theory is that the "weight" actually needs to be divided by 100000000 to be useful Smiley
which puts the expected time value out.

i havent got around to chciking out my theory, but the numbers seem wrong, and possibly dividing as above would make more sense.

I get this error when I type in getstakinginfo I get this:

"enabled" : true,
"staking" : true,
"errors" : "",
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.00024414,
"search-interval" : 16,
"weight" : 1041232867,
"netstakeweight" : 27791,
"expectedtime" : 0

What does it even mean ? Why is this coin such a pain in the arse ? Endless issues. I could have been staking for a long time but now I lose out on so much interest Sad How can expected time be 0 ? There is says the netstakeweight is 27791 yet on the wallet is says 0....

It is not an error it is gui wrong calculation. It can be fixed by just a line. But I am on to fix secp256 issue first

OK but nothing is staking though. I have no stake transactions. Waant to make sure it stakes so I can make my mind up about investing more or not. Right now I am just testing the coin out.

If the misunderstanding is over the staking of the main wallet, that is no big deal if it's been corrected.  2% stake for a few days isn't really that much.  I am more concern about the development of insane continuing and getting the word out.  #Insane is the new normal!

Even 2% stake for a whole year is not much that is the thing for me. Though maybe I shouldn't worry and rather go with the increase of value for the coin instead.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DopeCoin | 8 % POS | DopeMarket (BETA) | GROW Ops on: October 24, 2016, 05:18:34 PM
The warning is back on bittrex, if people can increase the trade volume before this coming Friday that would be greatly appreciated.

It would be better if people would also buy and not only dump in order to have a healthy market while increasing daily trading volume at the same time.

I bought some DOPE, it's pretty cheap today.

You sure picked a good time too buy

An excellent time to buy! I actually already had some but I decided to buy more. This coin is still really cheap. You get 10 sellers using this coin and price should be more up into the $10,000,000 USD range or like 5000 satoshi per coin. Things take time so over 1 or 2 years then big things can happen.

You pretty much nailed it.  This is a long-term play I've always said that. With that being said we've done a lot in the last couple of days to re-group and set a nice gameplan ahead for Dopecoin.

It's great to see an altcoin finally backed by something with proof. Better then all these scams backed by absolutely nothing but a load of crap story as to why the exist. Any story will do foe them.
2085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MAKE Avatar Campaign on: October 24, 2016, 01:38:06 PM
I never got anything and I have been wearing that avatar for weeks and weeks. I could have been wearing another one and been paid by now. I did it to support make since I like the idea but make still has no value as nowhere to trade like on of the a other posters just said. This is not good or professional and may scare investors away. Is it the same story for the signature participants as well ?

I guess I shouldn't have gambled away my espers and should have held on to them for the sawp. I lost out on just over 0.02btc Sad
Oh well that is the way it goes sometimes I guess.  Tongue

All links to Darknet Markets

To do what exactly?
What is on darknet?

Why don't you look and find out yourself instead of asking silly questions.

All links to Darknet Markets
no phishing links

http://darknet.website

Coming from a newbie, surely this will be phishing, I will not quite it as it is better to use TOR to access in the dark market, anyway I am not interested to access as I do not have interest in the products and services offered their, all is illegal and I do no want to compromise my personal life dealing with them.

Clearly you are clueless. Nothing is "phishing" and not everything for sale is Illegal so please don't talk crap.

remove be for it will be removed by stuff not allow on here

Where di you get that useless information from ?

Links are legit.

You might want to put more information about those markets and how to access them, website is too poor, and make links clickable.

Why would you need .onion links clickable when you need an onion browser......

wallet does not work and tried everything. I did what you told me and does not work. delete all and does not work. putting probe of a archovo and does not work.

Same here. It was working after I added that huge list of nodes but not anymore. It is stuck at block 11702 it won't sync and I'm left with a transaction that is not staking since it is unconfirmed since it can't catch up because it's stuck on block 11702.

I am connected to 2 nodes and the wallet opens and closes fine it just won't sync.
Make sure that you are using B3 v3.2.1

~snip~

Ok I have done all those things and I am now waiting to sync again.
Thank you for the help. Now I know what was wrong Smiley
2093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] The Epic 420 Alliance Joint Force - United we stand! on: October 23, 2016, 06:28:11 PM
I never saw the point of having separate coins for the same thing when we all want the same thing. Why compete against one another when you could join and be stronger together ? The size of this thread tells us it is what people want.
2094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Altcoins can never replace FIAT ! on: October 23, 2016, 06:23:49 PM
I will start off with one of many reasons why (i have posted since 2013)

The biggest problem i see with a digital currency is.. that it's digital  Cheesy

The fact is if we see a huge part of the world in a black-out with no electricity..
then we will see crypto coins as neutered and useless.

This is in fact a very real possibility certainty.
I have seen countless scientists many from NASA say for 20 years this WILL happen and it's a matter of when not if.
So what are you going to do then ?

Since day one when i got into this stuff i have warned users abut this.
I have warned them that something should have been done to account for this risk.
Not sure what you CAN do though.

There is many reasons why crypto-coins can not replace FIAT.
I will post another reason or two later Wink

Fact !! Saying fact before everything does not make it fact !
Never say never. They said we would never go to the moon and that the Titanic would never sink too....

Oh here is a fact though....

"The fact is if we see a huge part of the world in a black-out with no electricity..
then we will see crypto coins as neutered and useless."

Doh !!!! Almost everything would't work. Are you trying to troll or something ? Money already is mostly digital. Please wake up !
2095  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investment Management. Good ROI. :) on: October 23, 2016, 06:19:38 PM
While you do have super high trust and I see no red flags about you I just wonder why you have this in the gambling section if it is suppose to be an investment ? Or is this investment in a gambling site ?

How can you claim you know of the best and top 5 ROI investments ? Why do you have to say things like that ? It can't be true since there will always be a better investment elsewhere that you just don't know about or never had an opportunity in.
2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] <808> sha256 pos/pow Roland TR-808 tribute 808% Proof of Stake on: October 23, 2016, 06:10:27 PM
How does the minting to block ratio work ? How many 808 coins do I need to mint properly within a reasonable amount of time ?
Please help explain the way minting works on 808 coin thank you.

There is a minimum amount of days that you have to wait then on top of that you have to also fight with network weight unless of course luck is on your side.

Any day you don't stake the interest % adds on top of when you finally do.

So so should I rather lock/encrypt my wallet and then wait till I build up  decent amount of weight then unlock and stake ?
I was wondering this because with digicube you need x2 the amount of coins as the blockchain's block. 808 is almost on 70k blocks.
I have a few thousand 808 so I was just wondering how to use my time most efficiently. Thankyou for the answer though I always appreciate a reply.

2099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so Many Different ALT Coins on: October 22, 2016, 07:58:33 PM
I was looking and studying to do some alt coin trading to try and make some extra cash with my BTC. I just want to know why are there so many different alt coins? What is the point of them?

Everyone want's to jump on the bandwagon and make some quick money it is about money as always. The coins just die eventually but you can make money with them if you clever and careful.
2100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU & CPU BENCHMARKS FOR MONERO MINING! on: October 22, 2016, 07:46:35 PM
Yes it makes sense. Gamer's have 3Dmark so crypto users should have their own place to benchmark and show off their rigs. It will be a good way to get rid of scammy cloud mining sites since you could ask for a benchmark as proof they actually own what they say they own.
