2081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins getting delisted on: December 25, 2019, 03:54:24 AM
Hi guys i read on the news that major few exchanges are delisting some altcoins that falls to keep up due to present bear market, for example poloniex exchange is delisting Omni and primecoin and others, what do you have to share about this?

Some are saying its good to invest in old coins now few old coins are dying, I believe they've met the end of their roadmap, no more excitement about them, this is why i still feels that newer coins will take the bigger advantage of future greenish market, what do you think?

That's the reality that every investor must face, waking up that he has no exchange for his coins, because of low volume, considering that they paid a big amount just for the exchange to list their coin, only exchanges made a huge profit here, no wonder some exchanges are inflating their volume to make them attractive to new projects for listing.
2082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Points Why Crypto Future Will Be Totally Unstoppable on: December 25, 2019, 02:13:03 AM
2019 is finally coming to an end, i can't help but keep thinking that huge money will flow into crypto world soon, here are few reasons to back my claim

1. Banks are very slow in their reaction towards virtual currencies yet by now over 70% of central banks around the world are looking into crypto.

2. Major changes will surely rise because bigger transnational organizations are showing interest in crypto.

3. China is really leading the way with their upcoming owned central bank digital currency (CBDC) which will be the first of its kind.

4. To add to this list of mine i read somewhere that Mark Zuckerberg is pointing out to China as the reasons why U.S should act quickly in regard to crypto, he personally believes that U.S needs to see more progress with cryptocurrencies.

Honestly i believe Libra is supposed to bring a new huge changes to the world of international transactions but who can predict what will happen about Libra? Because Bitcoin is still the mother of all cryptocurrencies and Libra still relies on fiat currencies as underlying assets. Bitcoin is decentralized and other crypto assets with their own use cases and purposes will likely keep existing side by side of bitcoin. Wrong? Or Right? Drop me your points

Absolutely right, there has never been talks or news like this in the last five years, what we've speculated in the past are now coming true, and all of these comes just when halving is coming in, if all these will not give Bitcoin another all-time high in the next two years I don't know what will.
And I'm glad I'm in a position where I am seeing it all coming true, time to get more coins for my family's future.
2083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: December 24, 2019, 10:41:46 AM
From my point of view, scam projects have taken away the glory of genuine projects.
Due to too many scams around crypto space, investors are not confident on investing in new projects. It's Becoming very difficult day by day to find out the legitimacy of the projects.
This in turn affecting the projects and result of this is not raising the funds as expected and required for further development of projects. This is daviating projects from their roadmap which is resulting in too much delay or even failure.
Missing interest in investors is somehow obstacle to growth and further research of dApps projects.
I think, rugulations will solve the topic to great extent, but is there any other way to stop the scamming and not just going away from it?
Please apply your thoughts.

The biggest question is who will regulate it and how it's going to be regulated, remember IEO's are regulated by exchanges and they are being screened and they are paying a listing fee to prove that they are legit but the majority of the coins are not doing good in the market if we give one company to do this for us, how can we be sure that they are not going to accept bribe and connive with these projects.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My New Year Resolution For Bitcointalk on: December 24, 2019, 04:19:08 AM
New year is already few days away and I want to share one or two new year wishes about this forum on here, this is how I hope 🙏 this forum will be by next year, this is actually about BM and Moderators, I belief they can both help a lot.

1. Moderators, theymos and co should actually look into new way or strategy to help crypto investors, what I mean is getting rid of scam projects, I don't know how but I think it's time moderators start taking action, we need new investors in crypto space and scammers are everywhere taking advantage of them.  Maybe there can be some kind of new screening for new projects on this forum? Or some kind of PASS?

2. Bounty managers have a big role to play in crypto world, i believe if every bounty managers can be more serious about the projects they introduce spammers will reduce, few bounty managers still don't know how important Proof of Authentication is, without it scammers can just use others btt accounts without them knowing, to claim tokens, we need more good bounty managers in this space and not keep relying on few promising BM's like bubbalex, Arteezy, ltcbtcledger etc

On point one can you suggest a new strategy to help Cryptocurrency investors on how to combat scammers, if you do not how to and do not have ideas, why impost it on the admin and moderators, it's your choice to invest so it's your duty to do your own reasearch.
2085  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Domain Name Registration, Renewal & Transfer Services on: December 24, 2019, 03:15:56 AM
OP, your prices of domain registering are not particularly attractive. There are already more trusted services with lowerest price, also accepting bitcoin.

I want to buy a domain name, which is already registered by someone, but one thing I am sure that he's not going to renew that after it gets expired. so do you have any feature like when the domain is available again to register, I got notified or something like that?

Depends on which registrar is used for this domain registration. I know, Godaddy put all expired domains to auction, usually, if this domain has some backlinks and traffic, someone will buy it and redirect to the domain where they want to improve SEO.
Redemption period is usually 30 days.

That's double profit for GODADDY, investing in someone's effort to create traffic and backlinks, webmaster should just sell their own domain that has a good traffic and backlinks, it's not easy for a site/domain to create backlinks and traffic, only for GoDaddy to get the opportunity to sell it, anyway every webmaster has their own reason why they let the domain expires.
2086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has this year Christmas favor your cryptocurrency portfolios? on: December 24, 2019, 02:42:39 AM
I couldn't hold it back any longer; as I have sold off my major portfolio because of Christmas celebration. This hold started from last year July, 2018 and now, couldn't hold them again as I have sell off my assets because of the pressure from the family members. After the sale of this asset this evening, I was perplexed as how much I just dumped, all in the name of Christmas.

What are your experience: positive or negative.
You should have foreseen this before it happens, Christmas and New Year sales are very tempting to resists I'm just lucky to have a small saving for these occasions, plus weekly payout through Bitcoin and so I can buy things on these sales and at the same time keep all my coins in my portfolio safe and intact.
2087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 23, 2019, 11:18:10 PM
Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money

These people did not do due dilligence in researching if these trading program or company is really legit and where they can reach it if something bad happens, this is one of the risk if you fail to do that, they are to all relying to trust such kind of programs, it's like investing in a Ponzi or MLM throwing caution to the wind.
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has gone up the past week. on: December 23, 2019, 05:54:08 PM
It has gone up around $800, do you think they could run it up and then I would come down before January 1 before the new year. Or they will not come in to play?  I’m waiting for some money to clear to buy some. And I don’t know right now is the best time to buy

Yes I notice that and just the right time when I cash out from my signature campaign, I hope this will continue to rise up, I guess the holiday frenzy for those who sell their Bitcoin because of the holiday are now over, and there are some people who received their bonus and now buying or have buy back what they sold before the holiday week.
2089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simulation/Machine Learning Effects on Gambling on: December 23, 2019, 05:22:59 PM
I am a little bit curious about this because  my boss just told me last week that on their country, they have tools maybe software that predicts or simulate the horse racing game (not sure if this is an A.I.).
He said most of the people using that kind of tool/servce are winning a huge profits.
This thing is just like, you don't need to analyze or think anymore, you will just place your bet.

Here's the questions,
Is this really possible on gambling(any form)?
It is not illegal?

Sounds interesting, it's hard to predict that using a software, because each horse in a given race is very much different from one race or when they are racing on different tracks, there are so many factors involved, I don't think they can simulate and predict a winner in a real horse racing, it's better if you can give us an article about that AI horse racing simulation.
2090  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: December 22, 2019, 10:37:42 AM

2091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Daniel Jacobs vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on: December 21, 2019, 12:54:35 PM
Second time it happen again for Chavez Jr. he gave up again in his corner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftgl1zAqGB4 he is throwing big punches until he says he don't want anymore must be the cut or the the hands, but one thing for sure fans don't like the way it ended, they think they have been short changed.
2092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 21, 2019, 12:22:56 PM
Scammers don't have to give huge promises anymore, believe me they are among us and they know how smart investors have become too, they always reshape their tactics, now projects don't have to give too good offers because they know people are aware that too good to be real offers are scam, honestly scammers are not idiots

People keep saying good projects always have good team and brilliant ideas to solve crypto issues, who tell you that scammers can't deliver all this?

They can deliver, and there are already a lot of projects like that, the best option is to not invest in a new coin anymore, because there's really nothing in this new project that old coins cannot bring to the table, some of them are copy from the old projects and some of them are just promises that they cannot make a realization.
2093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some big things to watch for in 2020 on: December 21, 2019, 10:04:38 AM
well, I strongly agree with halving bitcoin that will have a good impact on bitcoin price movements and will surprise traders who have bought bitcoin at low prices because it will be increasingly difficult to get bitcoin and demand will increase.

Not only halving as mentioned by OP a lot of great events are going to happen in the Crypto, and this is the most exciting time since the creation of Bitcoin, I predict huge impact is going to happen in the middle of next year after the halving, I just hope many more news will come for the growth of Bitcoin.
2094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some big things to watch for in 2020 on: December 21, 2019, 08:22:01 AM
2020 will be coming soon. People have a big expectation in the upcoming year that there will be some big changes in crypto world. Even if some people doubt the future of cryptocurrency, we must be curious about what will happen in the next year exactly.

Here are some big things that all people may be waiting for in 2020:

1. How Bitcoin halving can bring impacts in crypto space.
2. Will we see the launching of Libra coin.
3. Us government intervention in crypto space, Libra project gets no progress.
4. People are waiting for the launching of Ethereum 2.0’s
5. SEC vs. Telegram, what is the end of this fighting?

More details, you can find out in the article: https://www.coindesk.com/10-events-to-look-out-for-in-2020

*What do you think guys?

2020 is so big and people who are here this early and have accumulated enough good coins in their portfolio are lucky to witness all the events that are going to unfold this 2020, I think everything will start after the halving, many more good news are going to come, this is all what we've waited for in two years.
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 10 (Celebrating the 10th Week!) on: December 21, 2019, 03:06:07 AM
Just before this day ends I will now post this last what if for the year! Especially I'm glad to have you all in this topic, each and everyone could get a Merit fromme depends on how good your posts is, especially there could be one of you who can win BTC even though its quite small in amount but I do hope you appreciate it as a way of my thanks.

So here's the thing, for the upcoming holidays...
What if,...
Before this year ends you finally get to win a Jackpot then suddenly a big disaster came up out of nowhere then brings an outrage for people outside. Would you care to enjoy your winnings for yourself? Or be a good human being to help to save others.

If you're going to be a good fellow human, what's the first thing you'll gonna do?

I'll definitely going to donate a good portion of my winnings, this kind of disasters happens to all of us, it can happen to me so I want doing the same for me, it's a good deed, and you want a good vibes for the next round of gambling, I'm sure people here are going to do the same.

Yes they can and I have one proof one example is Bitmillex, after their ICO and delivering their coins to investors and promoters they are nowhere to be found, and to think they do webinars and conferences and very visible another one is Weidex, who until now are not giving investors money, I just forget these projects because they just made me disappointed.
2097  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any legit websites to earn bitcoin fast without a withdrawal fee? on: December 20, 2019, 04:47:18 PM
Tried pretty much everything and its all a scam. Just in desperate need of some bitcoin... tbh I'm not sure why I'm expecting a legit website that can magic bitcoin from thin air this is probably a stupid question. If anyone has any recommendations let me know thanks

I have one here and I'm earning 30000 sats daily, but 10 days is 300k and imagine how much will you earn in 100 days, the site is Cryptotalk after you earn a decent amount trade it to litecoin on Yobit because this is where you are going to receive your earnings and withdraw it to your wallet for a 20 cents fee-only then find an exchange where you can trade your Litecoin for a much cheaper fee.

I also recommend doing Cryptotalk 30000 satoshis in three hours of works is easy money, you can trade it to other con with minimal fee, it's probably the only legit site to earn satoshis fast compared if you are going to work on faucets, and if you have a good rank here join us in promoting Cryptotalk.
2098  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: December 20, 2019, 04:02:11 PM
I have recently been quite curious about the many debates about which currency is better.
Many people say that they will choose Crypto because it is convenient and creates a common currency, bringing equality to all countries.
And some people choose Fiat money because they've been used to using it for decades and now they have credit cards and wallet payment apps online, so why do you need crypto?
Which side do you think is right? I want to hear from you sincerely.

Honestly I want both, both have market and community, people cannot just leave fiat, there are people and places that fiat is commonly used and there are people who will hard time transacting with Bitcoin, how about the third world countries where internet connection and electricity are scarce.
2099  Economy / Economics / Re: Exchanges are rebelling against constant hard forks on: December 20, 2019, 03:01:04 PM
That's why I think coins that don't change much (bitcoin, doge) will end up being the winners. People just want something that works smoothly and that you don't need to do a lot of work to maintain, so that they can focus on the eco-system around the coin.

You're definitely right, these forks comes from people who pretended to fix Bitcoin issues, when there are none and they comes from Nakamoto wannabees, as long as there are new Nakamoto coming expect new forks and new projects associated with Bitcoin, in the end Bitcoin will rule.
2100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH dump even more due to PlusToken? on: December 20, 2019, 01:10:41 PM
A huge number of ether (ETH) tokens have just moved from a wallet associated with the PlusToken Ponzi scheme. More than $105,099,000 worth of the native crypto asset of the Ethereum network moved between the wallet and an unknown one earlier today.

The Twitter account Whale Alert (@whale_alert) highlighted the huge transfer this morning. The total number of Ether moved was a massive 789,525 ETH.

Source link here

This is something that we feared the most, unless you are a buyer waiting for your buy order to be filled.

Whale Alert keeps monitoring the wallet that are being used by PlusToken, and it's now being moved to an unknown wallet.

I remember that time when I was in Singapore, one weird looking guy approached me and introduced me to PlusToken. As what I have seen in their compensation plan, I immediately moved away and said "No, I'll pass!". Ponzis are not for me.

I just feel sorry for those who are being victimized by PlusToken.

People who are investing in Cryptocurrency should now think better after two hard years of experiencing to many scam like OneCoin, Bitconnectcoin and PlusToken, this is a hard lesson to learn but will give an example on what to invest and what not to invest, because we have now see examples of projects that looks like scam and Ponzi scheme.
