The question is they making the speech to selling us these (licenses.. licensing RNGs.. etc.) as a warranty..  while in fact there is no way to verify the fairness they're running behind.. we have no other choice than just trusting them.

Sadly, but true. In fact, there is a way to verify the fairness. But, it costs. Both time & money.

But I've been always thinking that that's what regulators are doing. They have both, time and money, and it's their job to verify the fairness, in our case the stable, unchanging RTP, no matter what.

For example, I heard that licencing authorities use an algorithm to predetermine the result of all spins on a slot, within, say, 10 million spins, to make sure the RTP is the same as stated by the slot provider. Was it just a rumor, or are they really doing this?
It would mean the RNG of the slot is not truly random and the game can be cracked somehow, so I really doubt about that. A good entropy/randomness is also a protection against players, to avoid being tricked and exploited by them or by anyone. Anyway I don't think casinos would accept a slot game where you can guess the result of the next spins. As ultraBTC said "Any past event doesn't have influence on future event. In other words, if your chance for a jackpot is 1:1000000. On every spin it is still 1:1000000, no matter if jackpot has been won seconds or months ago by other player.", in other words it must work in the same way as a roulette where the same number can be drawn several times in a row.
2085  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: November 21, 2022, 09:39:19 AM
Rakeback for my level now (Expert) is 7.5%, which is way more than the below 2% house edge of roulette. I never truly calculated though!

It sort of works out correctly as I played 1000s of automatic spins on roulette and I saw my balance go down a little slower than the rakeback amount at some point. But nobody has discipline I guess because I always end up trying to win back and make profit Wink
And mine is currently 10%, so it would mean that I can play any casino or slot game without losing money because there is almost no game with a house edge above 10%. I reassure you, this is not what is telling my balance LOL. I don't know what means those percentages precisely, but I don't think it's a pure rakeback (it wouldn't be sustainable for the casino). It's maybe interesting for roulette games but it would be surprising to get a RTP above 100% with a low loyalty rank. I thought it was the percentage from the house edge you get back actually but I'm maybe wrong too.

Grin

He bien ...

2088  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX Drama and Global Empact on: November 20, 2022, 10:51:48 PM
FTX issues has really giving crypto-Currency critics something to bite on. This damages are large to let go. I think there would be repercussions for this.

FTX exchange has also brought some lessons to many and that's never trust a centralized exchange, so much can go wrong, ignore how big they are even Binance, it still can happen to them. The dangers on centralized exchange and also the lack of security and privacy protection.
The FTX issues goes on I don't think it would take long before some government finds reason for sanctioning because of this issue.

FTX is not the first centralized exchange to crash, we had a large exchange that was Mt.gox and many other smaller exchanges also collapsed. Everyone is aware that leaving money on it is risky, but most still choose to leave money because to serve their work, hope everyone is more vigilant after the FTX incident.

I don't think governments will punish FTX as most countries don't have crypto laws yet and FTX doesn't have a business registration in those countries. Investors will be responsible for their own consequences.
How could you think FTX and his CEO Sam Bankman-Fried won't be sued and sentenced if they've made shady and scammy things with the funds of their users? It's a crime in my country as in most countries. When someone gives you custody of something, it doesn't belong to you, and it's your responsibility to take care of it, otherwise you have to repair it or to pay damages. You should remember that Bernard Madoff has been sentenced to 150 years in prison and he died in jail.
2089  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie I stay off shitcoin and it paid off, Bitcoin is the king. on: November 20, 2022, 10:32:53 PM
After I started my Bitcoin holding journey a few months ago,
At that time, my close friend Sam! also have some capital he want to put away in cryptocurrency, and I advised him to buy Bitcoin instead of an altcoin. But instead of him to have a long-term potential mentality, he was looking for a quick profit so he filled up his portfolio with shitcoin, while I went in on a single portfolio of Bitcoin and when the unexpected of FTX hack happen the whole market in shamble and his altcoin portfolio have dropped above %800+ but my bitcoin holding still maintains some level of stability.

This gives me more confidence in Bitcoin and newbie who are looking for long-term holding should hold more bitcoin, in their private wallet to avoid exchange, but your knowledge to always have a good entry price.
His altcoin portfolio has dropped above %800+ you say? Don't you think you are exaggerating a little bit his loss actually? That would mean for $100 invested, he lost $800. I know that crypto market can be hard but it's not possible in reality. You can only lose 100% of your investment actually, when all your cryptos go to 0. Cryptos can't go below 0, you will never have to pay someone to get rid of it , because you will always be able to send them to a random address without asking anything to anyone.
2090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 20, 2022, 10:04:12 PM
Update: DG7 has since offered me $5,000 USDT on the $131,000 USDT owed to me after they received the results of the provider reviews. At first they tried to say that the providers told them that there are too few players on the site for them to verify the wins, but after I pressed they essentially admitted that I won more than they bring in. Last I was told they needed to contact their "boss" and "investor" and ask them if they can help them pay it. Needless to say I am completely devastated, because I spent so much money with this site and finally hit big for the first time ever. That money would have done so much for me. Obviously the lesson here for everyone I guess is that the truth is no matter what site you play on, or what licenses they may have, or whatever - the fact is there's never a complete guarantee you'll get paid when you win.

On a completely different note, the number of replies here that were completely ridiculous and rude is unbelievable. How the hell could I be trying to scam anyone by sharing a story, not to mention one where I am sharing the fact that I wasn't paid out a win!? Um, okay!
Unfortunately many users here, don't gamble and don't care about gambling at all, they just make posts to fulfill quotas of posts in the Gambling section for their signature campaign. Most of times it's just boring as hell to have to scroll dozens of garbage messages but when they spam nasty BS on a serious case it hurts the whole community. So I think you should name them here.
Unluckily your case is not uncommon. Because of the bearmarket bankrolls of most casinos has dropped, and nowadays they can't pay out anymore what they have to. But maybe you can ask them to pay you $2000 every month during 5 years.
2091  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 20, 2022, 08:50:28 PM
Stake has a couple of promotions for the world cup, but I am the only win that is a little bit disappointed in what they currently offer as promotions? It is not bad but nothing special also and not really anything that stands out or that is super interesting...
If you are looking for something that you can participate for free like world cup promotions by other casinos, yes Stake is behind those other casinos for the world cup promotion.
Perhaps world cup is not one of the priority event for Stake to offer great promotion like what they used to offer for other events.
I'm assuming that they will be focusing on Christmas and New Year, so lets hope they will offer something bigger than other casinos at the end of the year to replace your disappointment for the world cup promotion.
I don't think he's only talking about free tournaments. If you look at what are offering their main competitors for the World Cup, Stake is behind them too. For example Stake is just offering a poor half-time leading insurance for WC matches, that is to say a simple refund (up to $250) of your bet if the team you've backed didn't win but managed to be ahead at the end of the first half-time when Sportsbet for example, is giving away $10 in free chips/spins without conditions for every $50 bets on many matches. That's weird, but they don't seem to be interested in attracting all soccer fans who will look for an interesting sportsbook to place some bets during the World Cup... But maybe they want to be more focus on slots and casino games nowadays.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: November 20, 2022, 07:21:18 PM

But now I'm curious, how many casinos out there can actually provide the funds in the unlikely event that all of their users decide to withdraw? Or how many casinos out there that are also secretly using their players' money for investment or marketing or something else?

I do not know if a serious casino would choose to do this, as it presents too much of a risk.

While it may sound like the best of both worlds, in practice this could be a disaster for any casino that decides to take this path. Casinos have their core business, which is making money from gambling. Using player funds for investments in other ventures is not something they would normally do. However, if they did so, they would need to make sure the investment was safe and profitable. If the casino loses money on its investments, then it will not be able to pay players back their deposits. Therefore, I do not think that this is a very likely scenario, as it could result in the casino going bankrupt.

Unfortunately in the crypto world, everything is possible. Exchanges and lending platforms have also their own core business model, but we have recently seen they are not all very honest and are doing shady transactions behind their customers' backs, so I wouldn't be surprised if some large casinos were doing this kind of things actually. Because they can easily lock funds of most of customers when they want by simply asking them KYC. So users should always be very careful when they leave cryptos anywhere, and remind that when you have not the key, it's not your coins anymore.
2093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Roshtein fake money streamer or not? on: November 20, 2022, 06:57:42 PM
I don’t understand exactly what’s the importance of determining whether the streamer is using real money or fake because it’s his personal deal to the casino and has no responsibility to disclose to us there deal just to satisfy our curiosity. There’s no benefits for us to pursue this curiosity since they probably have NDA before they become partnered streamer.

You enjoy his stream and that’s the most important thing. You don’t risk any money on the guy so just move on.
It's not a matter of curiosity, it's a matter of advertising a casino in a fake and misleading way. Young people and people who don't know gambling can think it's easy to win big amounts when they watch those streams, while it's very hard actually, and they could lose critical amount of money and even becoming addict by chasing those big wins. If streamers don't want to admit they are playing with sponsored money, they should at least recall the total money spent each time they get a big win. In a fair, honest and responsible spirit.

Ah good that you mentioned about the small bet, I had no idea there were 0 points people in prize places lol. TY Smiley

Same here, I am surprised I got two $5 rewards from two consecutive weeks even though I ranked 58+ on the crypto crunch event.  I never imagine that I will be reaping a $10 reward after I failed to reach the top 30 ranking of the previous 2 weeks of the crypto crunch promotion.  Now I am more motivated to regularly participate in that event  Grin.

If I would have known this earlier of course I would have played a few hands. Seems to me only need to wager $2 or something to get the minimum point, that's easy, just put in on red/black and if you lose you have a net profit of $3, win and you get net $7 at end of tournament Wink

Definitely think it's worth it to go for at least $20 based on experience, but only if you just wager same amount without trying to martingale (hehe). The roulette house edge is sort of returned from the loyalty rakeback but you really have to keep an eye on balance to not overdo the loss.
The house edge of roulette games is covered by the Loyalty rakeback? For which ranks precisely? That would be a great news, because it would mean that rouette is a free to play game at Livecasino. I've never noticed it until now so I guess it's only working for the highest ranks of the loyalty rakeback program.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Roshtein fake money streamer or not? on: November 19, 2022, 09:20:14 PM
No matter who the streamer is, it's always going to be hard to prove their legitimacy unless they outright admit that they are using a fill balance or something alike.
A lot of streamers are on deals where they are paid X amount weekly/monthly and are able to gamble with this as they choose to do so, and the winnings are fully withdrawable.

Some streamers are on deals where they are given infinite refills of money every X amount of minutes or whenever their balance reaches 0, these are the streamers that personally I don't understand how users can watch them as it is as far away from the reality of gambling as you can get.

Not speaking on specific people, I think the only transparency you can hope for with crypto casino streamers is they show you them depositing and withdrawing on stream or even publicising their deposit transaction id's which users can look at themselves, as well as also showing an organic growth in terms of their bet sizes.
When the bank roll is high they usually can't fully withdraw all their winnings unlike what you said, but only a percentage of them like 10%, someone has made a thread about the different deals offered by casinos to streamers. Being paid by a percentage on their winnings allows them to look super happy when they make some good winnings during their streams while letting them showing big amounts on their screen.
