I understand the vault part, because many people want to lock their money away to keep them from gambling until it is withdrawn, that makes sense. However I never understood the pressure casinos get about self-exclusion, why is that? I mean if you want to not gamble and want to keep yourself away from it, then requesting the casino to not earn any money from you makes zero sense. Do you go to apple, or Tesla, or Amazon and say that you want to be excluded? You do not, they wouldn't care about you.
If you want bad stuff examples, then does any cigarette companies decline to sell to you? They would be willing to sell it to a cancer patient let alone a regular person, hell they sell it to kids! How about obese people who can't get any fast food, have you seen anything like that? Self-exclusion is something people force to casinos and no casino should be held accountable for not having it.
I'll play the devil's advocate, it indeed hardly makes any sense. You come to play (and lose money), not hold on tight to your wallet. Fast food is a good example. But then, some of them do have some conscience. They understand the risks, yet also give players the control to maintain their composure. It's easier online than in brick-and-mortar casinos because definitely we won't see anyone ushering some punters out of the door the moment they start losing money  That way if someone loses his/ her life savings and blame it on the casino, they could always wash their hands off by pointing to the self-exclusion. I had that you casino requires kyc before withdrawal funds even though gamblers could not use the deposited funds to play bet, they'll still have to do their kyc. I need to know why kyc is important for a gambling site like yours. If there is genuine reasons behind that, maybe I might give it a nice thumb.
Hi Wakate, We only impose the KYC requirement on players that are planning to withdraw their funds in cryptocurrency (if the option is unavailable or to increase their withdrawal ceiling), or are suspected of fraud/ being underage as part of our AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies. But for our signature campaign holders, that exception is made so they do not have to go through the process. |

Probably, but the fact that the opt-out option is available does not prevent them from losing all their money. As I commented on the other thread: True that, but at least the responsibility won't entirely fall on the owner should that happen.
