1121  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most rewarding referral system on: June 17, 2022, 01:35:53 PM
With the referral program, yes someone can earn big money if he/she can get whales as his/her referral.
I'm pretty sure there some people who earn decent amount of money from referral system, but it is rare to find them share how much they have earned.
There was also other way to earn, where people can invest in casino's bankroll and I've seen some people earn nice profit by investing.
When it comes to gambling yourself, the chance to earn/win big money does exist as long as you are lucky and you can stop at the right time.

Referral earnings are mainly about luck. No point having 10,000 of them if they are "dead".

On the other hand, a high roller lucky to use your refcode could net you thousands of buckeroos within a short period of time. I had a few, but on the wrong website.

They don't look appealing at all for me. As example: " win 5 times in Crash with a multiplier higher or equal to 10". Minimum bet size is 1.5$ and the reward is 0.00005$... I hope they will revise these as I can not imagine that a lot of people really fulfill a lot of the daily tasks for such a low rewards. A new feature or not, it is not really beneficial.

Agreed. 10x is already rare in crash, and 5 times as well...

Seeing this thread after noticing the negative feedback, this is what my commission looks like. Totally pathetic when they wagered almost half a BTC in total.

1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos are uncovering our evil sides on: June 16, 2022, 03:28:18 AM
It doesn't take a genius to know that cryptos are easily manipulated just like stocks and forex as well. I can't understand how people kept clamoring that cryptos are free from FI intervention when the opposite is already a thing and they get all excited when they "adopt" them.

1128  Other / Meta / Re: Decline of Marketplace activity/trading on: June 15, 2022, 02:30:18 AM
Bitcointalk has been more on the advertising side than a place to trade now, knowing that you can get scammed. I remember my first time trading here, in which I sold a World of Warcraft code, and I didn't know how to use the marketplace yet; in turn, I was scammed. It's risky to use the market if you don't know any of the rules or steps for you not to get scammed.

I can't think of a reason for how it can be fixed. As long as there is movement in the marketplace, it's hard to measure how active it is. Most people turn to Telegram or something.

Yeah, they just want the sales now. Lately I received some unsolicited PMs on signature campaigns when I didn't even ask for them.
1129  Other / Meta / Re: Are you a merit source? Thanks for your sacrifice. on: June 14, 2022, 12:55:17 PM
To be honest, for a moment it seemed to me that I was in the B&H section, where usually appear threads praising the merit system, written by lower-ranked members or some similar threads thanking the forum or the higher ranked members, in what has always seemed to me a covert form of merit begging, and in many cases they receive merits.

If he were to post it there, his rank would be sticking out like a sore thumb...

1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when the market is downtrend? on: June 14, 2022, 07:58:23 AM
Im expecting 20k and next would neither be some nasty rebound or would really be declining even more lower.  Tongue

This is the time on where most people been freaking out even to those who had bought on 30k+ price then much sure that they are really that on anxiety or doubts as of this moment.
How much more into those people who had bought into the peak or lets say 60k+ price?

Feeling of being depressed and anxiety is really common within these times which is something not surprising specially everything is going down now
not only exclusive with bitcoin but in all altcoins in the market.

Some are even targeting 10K, very optimistic Grin

Truth to be told, I'm one of them. Hodling season haha.

Those at 60K might have sold, especially them newcomers. Remembered the 2017 bubble? Same cycle repeats itself.
1132  Economy / Gambling / Re: Places where you can bet 50 BTC on 50/50 odds? on: June 14, 2022, 01:59:06 AM
I think there are no casinos that allow betting that amount, I just take a look at roobet and the max win on dice is $50k , that's a lil more than 2 btc.

Maybe you can place a bet like that with other users in the forum, the result from the bet could come from a future block and if the founds are collaterized then this could be fair for all.

No casinos in the right mind would allow that right off the bat. Even 10% of that is enough to cause most owners to sweat bullets. :p

Recently one of the custodial wallets (Celsius Network) have suspended withdraws to handle the liquidity imbalance. Just to take note that these kind of things happen when market starts bleeding.

1136  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: June 12, 2022, 01:19:18 PM
While western sites are mainly banned in China, nothing is stopping from residents from utilizing VPNs to access them. Bitcoin is no different.

Besides, China has more things to prioritize (e.g. political stability) about than simply Bitcoin alone.
1137  Other / Meta / Re: [Statistics] OgNasty's Merit Faucet on: June 12, 2022, 01:14:23 PM
Well, nobody is in NEED of them.  I also didn't mean to come off as though I cared about my situation personally.  I don't.  I was more preaching from a soapbox that one of the problems on this forum is that people want to praise those that comment or analyze those that are doing things, instead of praising the people that are actually doing things, so we end up with more statisticians than project developers...  Giving another example from me personally...  NastyMining was a project I started over a decade ago that has distributed more than 700 BTC, but that thread is merited by less individuals than this thread received in a week.  If paying all the costs to run a community organization for over a decade while distributing hundreds of BTC with 100% transparency to community members isn't merit worthy, what is?  What are we trying to achieve on these forums?

I get you. Same thing as those reposted contents that receive more likes/ upvotes than the original content. Not just on this forum.

Either they (content creators) have to suck it up or adopt to changes (i.e. posting on different communities that appreciate it more or "game" the system).
1138  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM HUOBI Luna Airdrop on: June 11, 2022, 05:15:38 PM

Everything about the Luna crash and the whole Luna 2.0 airdrop smells fishy. I have [people on Twitter complaining that even with the airdrop they received very few coins and on top of that a bigger portion was locked  Roll Eyes

So even the small portion of allocated Luna 2.0 that is tradable, I doubt if they have even been able to recover a tenth of the value of assets they lost during the crash and the value of Luna 2.0 keeps crashing every day which means within a month or so the value of the locked assets will also be worthless.

If the distribution wasn't vested, LUNA would crash to the very bottom.
1139  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE.WIN SCAM AND DIDNT LET ME WITHDRAW on: June 11, 2022, 04:30:49 PM
The OP doesn't understand the rules of every gambling site. he's just freaking out about the money he can't withdraw. That's what makes his thinking unclear.

the case is over, OP gets deposit money. I think it's fair enough for both parties. because you committed an offense. no need to claim your winnings, those are the rules you agree to automatically when you register an account.
if you don't feel comfortable, just shut up and play somewhere else, which may be the rules that can make you breathe more.

If he's politely asked them and didn't receive the answer he wanted, he definitely has the rights to start worrying.

But after coinbox's proof, definitely made sense. Spamming support with repeat messages is just gonna frustrate things even further.
1140  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: June 10, 2022, 04:20:11 PM

I would try to send them a personal message on here. I just checked and they last logged in 03/06 so it can take a while before they respond but it can help. I had an issue a long time ago and livechat also couldn't solve it. By contacting them via PM the issue was quickly resolved.

Live chat is more of a hit-and-miss. Since there are different agents taking on cases, I was hoping today would be better.

Finally got it resolved. Provided some proofs and finally was told it would take some time to get it manually credited.

Yours was about deposits as well?
