So generally, as a sort of unwritten rule here, we raffle out 16 slots. Obviously you can do as many as you like, but generally people take the last character of an upcoming block's hash. There are only 16 possibilities (hexadecimal) the last character can be, which is why we have 16 slots. So if you want to sell something at say 2BTC, sell one ticket at 2/16 BTC Note that a high raffle ticket price (say maybe >0.05) will make it difficult to sell all your tickets quickly. Agreed. If I were to raffle an item worth 1 BTC, then the sixteen (16) tickets would cost .0625 BTC each (for a total of 1 BTC). I'd likely consider any extra cost to be a little "out of order." Regards, Chris

I'd like ticket numbers A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, please.
Level 1 tickets: 1A, 99 and OF
Level 2 tickets: 3F, C1 and H1
Level 3 tickets: EA, DD and B4
MJ, Should we choose our ticket numbers all together or separated by the levels? (Not quite sure how to phrase my question, but you can see the two quotes above for examples.) I almost chose mine like Lutpin, but decided against at the last moment. I'm happy to clarify my choices by levels, if needed. Thanks, Chris That would be nice.... I gave your tickets just regular order for now. You are more than welcome to move around / assign values as you see fit. Your chart is exactly how I'd have wanted my ticket numbers assigned. Thank you, minerjones! Me

It's just for ease at custom but nevermind if you can PM me your address in India - i will send you one I'm from India Technically speaking, if the envelope is sent as a letter as opposed to package, then it should have some sort of letter, note, or card inside. That's all. Sky is correct, it's an international customs thing. And that is a generous offer, Sky. Thank you. Keep those photos coming, everyone! Regards, Me

And wow, that was a real generous offer from your side, but unfortunately I'm not from US and the customs duties here in India are a lot too.
We have several customers from India, and we've sent all sizes of packages to them. If the coin is inside a simple envelope, such as a yellow 7x4" bubble mailer, with a short letter / card /note inside, then it'll post for about $3-5 USD to India and arrive within 7-10 days. Maybe if you paid for the shipping? Just an idea... Regards, Me

PS - the patina concept is so cool! Give me a month and then would love to see a Patine contest It's totally surprising that anyone else (except for me) would appreciate a good patina! In fact, I posted a photo of my personal patina'd coin in last year's thread and on our social media accounts (which I've sadly been neglecting this year), but my wife suggested that I should remove the photos, because people wouldn't want to see the pretty, shiny, new copper turning all kinds of dark and weathered. As I often do, I took her advice and removed the photos. (I may have posted them again later, though. I can't remember.) It's good to see that others can appreciate the colorful rainbow patinas on a well-worn lucky coin! Regards, Me Yeah! came to me as a surprise as well but just look at those different colors coming out Here's a quick shot of an old 2015 Bitcoin Penny™ with AWESOME color / patina -- it's almost entirely PURPLE on the top! (For comparison, the 2016 coin still has its protective coating, so the patination process is ULTRA slow.) One of these days, maybe we'll create a patination thread to share all those wonderful rainbow colors. Regards, Me

But is it necessary to have a BitcoinPenny coin? Or should I just somehow photoshop it in a pic I snapped in my vacations?
I think it is part of the contest to actually have the coin itself in the photo. I would be happy to send you one if you are in US for this contest And here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1501251.msg15104069#msg15104069Enjoy some of my photos!! Thanks Yes, we'd prefer the actual coin, but we'll accept photoshop'd submissions for those without coins. However, there's really no good excuse for not having a coin, since our forum member minerjones has generously offered to send one. Thank you, minerjones! As for the photos... I love gnomes! (You gnome-y so well, minerjones! ) Keep those photos coming! Regards, Me

Defcon23, that's an AWESOME photo! I love it. But is it necessary to have a BitcoinPenny coin? Or should I just somehow photoshop it in a pic I snapped in my vacations?
grtthegreat, We're happy to allow photoshop'd images of our coin. (No purchase necessary.) Please feel free to use any of the images which have been provided directly by The Bitcoin Penny Company (on our website, Instagram account, etc). However, if you'd like to use the images provided by any of our past or recent customers, then you will have to get their individual permissions. We look forward to seeing some clever photoshop'd photos. Regards, Chris

Will the bags be numbered....like the SN rolls?
They should all be numbered and have NFC chips. I googled around and these are like pretty cheap and able to be customized easily from what I found!? BG4, no. No numbers on the bags. We really don't consider the bags themselves to be too valuable or collectible. Just an interesting souvenir. That's all. Of course, we could be wrong. Maybe they'll be collectible. Who knows? owlcatz, sorry, but we can't do the NFC resin chips, because we promised to only issue those inside the 2016 Special Edition Rolls. But you're right; the bags themselves are pretty inexpensive. It's the 100 Bitcoin Penny™ inside that make the final price. However, we may decide to not actually sell the bank bags, but rather drop them on auction with a very low starting bid. We really don't know at this point, but we should have all that figured out in the next few weeks. We'll definitely keep you posted. Thanks for the questions / feedback, guys! Always welcome. Regards, Chris

Thanks for the questions on our new bank bags project, guys. No more NFC chip coins for 2016, sorry. Those are only available inside the 2016 Special Edition Rolls. (Of which, our last roll -- SE Roll No.09 -- is still available. Buy it now! ) The coins inside will be the real 2016 DAVE coins. These particular bags will be in very limited supply and sold at a solid discount (as opposed to buying 50 2-Packs, 100 Singles, etc) for the express purposes of distributing the coins to increase bitcoin awareness in the general public. In other words, by purchasing the bank bags of 100 coins, you're promising to give away most (if not all) of the coins to other people, free of charge. The bag is yours to keep as an interesting souvenir. Regards, Chris
