This isn't boxing speculation, odds, or predictions but more on a discussion. No thread fits this topic so I will put it here: Donaire: Casimero should not be stripped of WBO titleNonito Donaire was convinced that John Riel Casimero should not be stripped of the title by the World Boxing Organization because according to him, Casimero made the weight but wasn’t given the rules and regulations to know about related to the sauna. Donaire said the use of a sauna is not generally illegal. Actually, he was fairly right about that but as I shared here, the sauna rules are against the British Boxing Board of Control. Filipino Boxing Veteran analyst Atty. Ed Tolentino even pointed out that's already been part of the BBBofC rules since 1929. The analyst debunked the idea of Casimero being set up in Liverpool. Instead, he blamed the lack of knowledge of Team Casimero regarding the use of the sauna. It's now 48 hours since the ultimatum and deadline gave to Casimero to defend his side on why shouldn't he be stripped of the title. I'm looking for some updates regarding that but found nothing.

Celtics - Bucks series should be a close one and I'm looking forward to it.
That will be the rematch of their 2018-2019 Eastern Conference Semi-Finals match where the Milwaukee Bucks won the series by 4-1. Almost the same lineup with only a slight difference but shouldn't be a big deal not unless it's about injuries and we all know that Middleton's status is still questionable. Both teams improved 3 years later but the Milwaukee Bucks have already gotten their achievement of winning the NBA title. Will Celtics now be able to get the revenge from their 2019 ECF semi-finals playoffs loss against the Bucks? Will Celtics can repeat the same level of dominance they have shown against the Brooklyn Nets? Will the Celtics come back again to the Eastern Conference Finals? (the last time was in the NBA Bubble against the Miami Heat)

Golden State Warriors -10.5 @2.22
Maximizing the risks since I think they will end the series later on with the BANG.
Not much analysis is involved. Simply, I only refer to the Warriors' Game 1 and 2 dominance playing at Chase Center (former Oracle Arena) where they end up beating the Denver Nuggets with a huge lead.
Good luck to all.
I loved it, though I only got -9 but I like the -10.5 as well, better odds for you and I believe that the Warriors will dominate to end the series. Just like what is happening in the first game, the Warriors will win and cover the spread. Unfortunately, Golden State Warriors just managed to breach the Denver Nuggets' lead in the 4Q. I really thought that they will close the series with a big lead like what they did playing at their home arena back in Games 1 and 2. I placed a good amount here and have no choice but to move on lol and prepare for the next set of games especially in my much-awaited Dallas Mavericks vs Utah Jazz game tomorrow. DeMarcus Cousins on the other hand registered his playoff career-high of 19 points. I thought it was a mistake but yes it is correct. A huge game for someone who thought about quitting. Nuggets should keep him. Cheers!
Nice win bro on that Nuggets spread. I didn't see it coming. And yes, it's worth noting that DeMarcus Cousins stepped up in that game as Nikola Jokic was in foul trouble. If only Cousins maintain that playing level, he still can be a dangerous asset to a team. I hope too that the Denver Nuggets will keep him. He just needs some more minutes to wake up his inner strength. Well then, see them next season.

Honestly, I was surprised by the odds. Prior to the odds being released, I'm thinking it shouldn't gap that much. The Boston Celtics really shocked the NBA community by sweeping one of the favorite teams to clinch the NBA Finals, the Brooklyn Nets. No one or only a few would even think that the Nets will be winless against the Boston Celtics. The duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown really improved that much. Their shooting stroke also improved that even well-defended, they are nailing their shots. And no one is even talking that their PG Payton Pritchard also plays a big role in their first series game. Brad Stevens really did a great job to include this guy on his usual player rotation. On the side of the Milwaukee Bucks, I think the odds given to winning that series against Boston Celtics is a worthy bet. Just place your bets prior to the game as odds will be changed obviously after the result of Game 1. Still thinking about who will I favor here but for now, 60/40 I'm on the Milwaukee Bucks. I hope Khris Middleton will have its 100% healthy status back before that game. The way the Boston Celtics are playing, able to shut down the likes of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, Milwaukee Bucks need their full healthy lineup.

Honestly, I don't trust Magsayo completely in this fight as I was a bit disappointed with the way he fight in his previous fight although he won. I don't know this Vargas but if Magsayo will not improve his style, I think he will experience his first defeat.
i agree, it seems his performance is getting worse not the same before and he was just lucky enough that he won on the previous fight. For me surely vargas just want to take this opportunity before moving up, because he knows mark magasayo is easy for him, and yes if magsayo didn't improve his style and performance, in my view this match would be his worst nightmare. I'm not sure the word "easy" is the right thing to use, that would not happen here, if Vargas will win, for sure Magsayo will give him a good fight. Well, I don't want to be bias so I think Magsayo chance to win here is not as high as the betting odds. I will second that. And besides, on the positive side, Mark Magsayo is already lurking in the Featherweight division for quite some and already fought boxers in this league a lot of times. Enhancing his moves at this weight class and looks like it's considered his comfort zone to clash at the range of 126 lbs to around 130 lbs. Rey Vargas on the other hand specializes in his moves in fighting at a much lower weight class, the Bantamweight class, and no doubt he is successful in this division. Clashing against the champion Magsayo will be his first tough job in the Featherweight class. Even by a lower percentage, Rey should at least feel the difference between fighting in the Featherweight and Bantamweight division although the catchweight isn't really that gap.

I wonder if Alaska will join right away on this upcoming All-Filipino Cup considering the new team owner, can't see any news about this but hopefully they will join with a new players on their line up, this can be a good opportunity for them.
Yes, they will join the next conference. The team will also keep the former Alaska Head Coach before, Jeff Cariaso. Originally, it was only Jeron Teng, Ben Adamos, and Taylor Browne who has the live contract with Converge. Another two former Alaska players were just added yesterday, Allyn Bulanadi and Kevin Racal. Bulanadi, Racal signed to new contracts by Converge

Thus far, I believe that Klay Thompson is the most consistent on the big 3 of the Warriors. The defense was obviously focused on Curry and that will make Thompson open because he is always the first option if Curry would passed, as a result, he will generate more points easily.
So I see the odds, and it's 51, IMO, that's very tempting.
The question is, is it worth taking it?
The question about being worth it is not a question. The question is, do you really think that Klay Thompson has the chance in getting the Finals MVP? You need to trust your bet since we don't have any reference to look at to somehow increase the chance of it from happening. Lots of factors to consider before Klay can be a candidate for Finals MVP: - Golden State Warriors obviously should make the Finals first. - There are lots of gunners in the Golden State Warriors that are also worthy to become a Finals MVP. - Choosing the Finals MVP is only for the Finals game. Even Klay becomes a monster in the playoffs, that won't count when choosing the Finals MVP. - Igoudala, even not the main scorer got the MVP Finals before because not just in points, but he also has a great contribution on other stats during the Finals, compare to Steph Curry who mostly, had his big production was on the part of scoring.

Zach Lavine might also probably be out in tonight's game for the Chicago Bulls.
He is out because of Covid protocols. I wondered how players ended up on that status. Are these players showing symptoms? However, it's no secret that LaVine is not comfortable playing because of his knee surgery that's why he's not at his best, at least. He is expected to have surgery after their playoffs run regardless of where they will end up. The game now started and is more on just exchanging shots at first but now Bucks have a 7 points lead already. The Bulls can't stop Giannis.

So the cooking of this fight now turned into the official one. I think it was February or March when this idea was planned but I'm just waiting for the official announcement since there are other names too involved during that time.
Moving forward, as others also mentioned, it will be a good fight to watch although we need to wait 3 months. Well then, time flies fast like how we wait on previous big fights we watched.
Seeing the Tale of the tape, I don't see who has the upper hand in this fight. We can't really take that previous fight by Magsayo as a big reason to think that he can't match this undefeated fighter, same as his. More analysis will come as the fight approaches.

Di ko alam kung pasok pa iyong Milwaukee Bucks pero as of this typing, di pa simula iyong game at puro nagsasalita pa lang iyong mga commentator habang nag-wawarm up ang magkabilang teams hehe. Ikaw na bahala @inthelongrun.
My Picks:
Milwaukee Bucks Golden State Warriors
Both teams will surely end their respective series now. Regardless of the spread, tingin ko naman kayang-kaya nila ma-achieve yan.

Pick: Phoenix Suns
They will be going on a 3-2 lead today against the Pelicans and I'm sure of that.

I don't understand why you ask no KYC casino but you're mentioning Stake? Stake can ask your KYC anytime if they want, read their TOS first.
Stake won't ask KYC for no reason. Don't know the specific things that might trigger the bell but if that's the always case, we should already hear lots of concerns already about that. I know there are cases related to that but it's not the thing that happened usually at most users. And I think being asked for a KYC anytime is the thing now at most casino sites as part of complying with their respective license and jurisdiction.

Back to the fight, I hope Bivol won't experience an unfair traits from the live audience but he still needs to prepare himself for that situation and get himself focus on the fight. In fairness to those people who will watch the fight live, I doubt there will be a hostile approach toward Bivol. I don't see any related thing about that happening on the day of the fight as most people understand that these Russian athletes shouldn't be involved in any hatred act. Dmitry Bivol has already expressed his concern about the on-going conflict even before. His statement should be enough for people to understand what side he is on - and it's about peace. Even if that is the case Bivol should have trained himself with that in mind, after all Canelo is loved by the public and almost everyone there will be supporting Canelo and not him, so some hostility should be expected from the get go, the issue is the level of that hostility, as long as the public is respectful and they are just booing him then that is fine since it is within the confines of what it is acceptable for them to do. Being booed is already usual for an experienced athlete. Bivol can handle that easily and can't even treat it as a distraction. But to the extent that there's an action from the fans that are too much to handle, that's disrespectful. But like I said, people are not dumb to shift or voiced their disagreement with the ongoing conflict to some athletes as they know not all Russians like the idea of the war. The bottom line, we should not involve the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine in this fight. We will witnessed this fight as it should be and nothing else will spoiled it.

The west already weakens the power house team Suns due to absence of Booker.
Devin Booker will just miss some games in the first round. Not the whole playoffs. If ever they reached the Western Conference Finals, there's a high chance that he can play. There's still lots of time. I don't see how Western Conference becomes weakened because of that. I also don't consider Golden State Warriors as the team to beat in the West or even get the NBA Championship. I hope GSW fans won't be mad at me. Yes, they are playing well and there is no doubt about that. It's just that if some teams are able to shut down their 3 key players, they will struggle. Different from the before Warriors that even Curry or Thompson is on the worst night, there are lots of options for them to cover their offense. Well then, we are just speculating here. Much better that while we are doing analysis, others have already placed their bet.

Issues happened already and I think Casimero should think about stepping up on higher weight class since he struggles if he push this and might this will totally make his career doomed if he push to stay lower. Trying upward might help him and he can fight more bigger stars that can possibly lift his career up.
I think stepping up a weight class will still be difficult for Casimero now that especially he is even struggling to maintain the 115-118lbs. The next class is the Featherweight division with the range of 122–126 lbs and maintaining that weight range is almost the same as the Bantamweight. Stepping up in weight class is not a good option for me to him. He can start again climbing ranks and regain again being a champion like what Nonito Donaire did when he lost to Naoya Inoue. He no needs to step up but just goes back again on his training regime in the Bantamweight division. He can surely do that but just lacks discipline. Anyways, like someone posted above, this thread is now shifting to Casimero. My apology and that will be the last post of mine regarding him unless there will be a topic to him that directly involve either Donaire or Inoue. He will struggle if he want to remain on bantam weight knowing how difficult things go to him reaching his desired weight for that fight, I know this is truly difficult since he might face much stronger opponents but its part of upgrading his career and might he will get back on his feet if he can able to go back and fight in his current weight class. He is struggling to burn an average of 15-20 lbs in the Bantamweight division. Stepping up on the Featherweight division, he needs to burn an average of 10 lbs and maintained it which is also hard for him unless he will undergo a sauna lol. It's not that easy to just decide to step up if he's not even in good shape in his current class. How can he defeat those guys there? Different to the plan of Naoya Inoue that he's already dominated the Bantamweight and thinking of moving up a weight class is reasonable as no reason to stay now at his current weight class. Look at Donaire too, didn't bother to move up weight but instead, he specialized on his main forte as no need to force him to move up a weight. Discipline is the key and not being arrogant and that's what Casimero is lacking. P.S As I said previously, I won't talk about Casimero here in this thread as he's out of the pictire here unless involving him with Inoue and Casimero.

Do you think it's a big advantage for the new casino that they have a bounty manager to be part of the team, we have a good lineup of reputable managers here.
Not necessary overall but it's a good choice and highly recommended. But for me, should be just for the campaign purposes and not as a direct partnership as when it comes to an unexpected worst event, the name of the campaign manager involved will also be in jeopardy. And besides, just referring to the status of the campaign here in the forum, even if they don't hire or be associated with a campaign manager, there still lots of users who will participate in their campaign to promote the brand name as there's money for it. They just need to be honest throughout and payments should be sent on time or easily, just escrowed. Although, I just hope these new sites won't use the reputation of those campaign managers to plan on their "fishy" attempt to lure users on the site.

I put up a parlay bet and will see if the risks are worth it. Dallas Mavericks - Brooklyn Nets - Philadelphia Sixers winning their respective game for a total odds of @4. I really hesitate to include Brooklyn Nets on my parlay but I just don't think they will allow the Boston Celtics to sweep them. Although it's a sure win for me already that the Celtics will take the series, at least the Nets should at least win 1. The pressure on their upcoming game is big as that would probably be the Nets' last game if they don't do something better.
For the Dallas Mavericks, again regardless of the odds, regardless of the player's status, I will put a bet for them.

According to Daily Tribune PH sports columnist Ian Suyu, as per Meralco Bolts' Head Coach Norman Black, the team will conduct an exit interview with its players starting today, April 25, 2022. For who are those players, we don't know. One thing is for sure, they want to revamp their roster next conference.
For me, they are already good and seeing their roster, they have one of the best rosters in the league especially if it's an All-Filipino Cup. They don't need a revamped but just utilized their players and give others more minutes. Since there will be no import next season, it might be easy for Coach Norman to test some rotation.
Share your inputs.

Batch 9
Back to square 1 lol. Try makabawi sa next set of games:
1. Brooklyn Nets 2. Philadelphia 76ers 3. Dallas Mavericks
Tatapusin na nila yan for sure. Medyo malaki ang handicap pero I'm sure kayang-kaya icover ng Sixers yan.
3. As usual, regardless of the odds, Dallas Mavericks talaga ako since then.
