Now those who love Satoshi Nakamoto but ignorantly ask for him to reveal himself will have a rethink after reading this story. By estimation, Satoshi (Not Bill Gates) should be the richest man in the world judging by how great his bitcoin is doing and the several units he should be hodling. But hiding his identity is the best decision for his safety and wealth because his wealth is within a click away if it gets into wrong hands.

Is it good to leave my job to dedicate myself to full-time cryptocurrency?
You are Jackypot, and there is a domain registered in your account name showing you are already deep in this game. Why you ask this question eludes me and I believe it also eludes many here. Anyway, there is a lot of money to be made from trading cryptos but you need to have a great strategy to sustain you making steady profit that can take care of your bills. Some people only live in this forum and do not have a day job yet they are doing fine sustaining themselves financially. Also, you can get into signature campaign once you get to the member rank.

Ripple may get up back but hitting the $10 mark is laughable. Even in the next two years xrp may not get to that level let alone in 2018. Ripple supply is too large to make the value easily go up. Despite all the positive news coming out on it, xrp has not been able to rise due to its large supply.

I wanted to ask if the Wirex app is available on andriod so I could download and commence using it for my transactions. But I can see from the above exchange that the site is facing intergrity test. How does a company withhold funds of old subscribers and then want to hoodwink unsuspecting new subscribers into its alleged fraudulent scheme so as to also trap these new cash is what beats me. Until the issue is resolved I rather stay on the sideline to watch.

Paying tax on bitcoin transactions would mean legitimizing that transaction as the government will directly be involved. I know many people here want the various governments of the world to legitimize bitcoin, so they will gladly want to be taxed and enslaved by the same system Satoshi wanted to do away with. Bitcoin is decentralized and should be allowed so. There are other avenues from which the governments can get their taxes/revenue from the people.

There should be a caveat in all these confessions of "I like altcoins because..." The caveat should be letting people know that there are lots of shit and worthless coins out there. If you get unlucky and buy into any of such, it is goodbye to your hard earned money. Those who invested in regalcoin and the likes know what I am yapping about. People such know this about altcoins before they get high in altcoins. It is not all that rosy.

I think what most newbies look at before buying is mostly the price of the coin. Cheap coins have a special attraction for them as they can pile up hundred or thousands of units of these coins for next to nothing irrespective of whether the coin has a good use or not. I believe this is why coins below $1 soared in the last few weeks. Being a fresh year, a lot of investors came into Cryptos and pumped in money buying cheap coins with the expectations that the ROI will be huge on their investment.

Airdrops are easy way to gathering free money but it could serve as an avenue to getting someone's devise infected with malware. So, one has to be careful with the kind of sites and links one opens. I really haven't been that lucky with airdrops since I started participating in some. Of over 15 airdrops that I have subscribed to, just one that has clicked.

Changelly does not work like real exchange site where one trades for profit. I mean buy and sell for profit. What Changelly does us offer users an opportunity to exchange one crypto to another from different sites on its platform. It does not offer that service of allowing users store cryptos and then trade them on its site. So, we really can not count it as an exchange.

What makes you think we've hit the bottom? Things could always get worse, and that's a very real possibility in this market. I do hope the low prices spark traders into action by buying again, but that seems unlikely given the fact that they didn't when Bitcoin seemed to have bottomed down at the $8k level. I hope the newbies are ready to brave the bear market.
You are right that bitcoin may not have hit the lowest ebb but about price getting worse is what I don't think will happen. It can't get worse than it is already with price having crashed from $19,000+ to $6000 in less than two months is a real nightmare. However, I do know that now isn't a bad time to buy in for anyone who wants maximum profit.

This is a wrong section for this campaign as it does not pay in bitcoin. It has no business being here. OP, you should relocate it to altcoin section.

I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.
Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.
So let's discuss ICO Rating!
These things are more subjective than objective. To say the truth, I think the ratings are in more ways tilted to who is ready and able to dance to the tune of the highest PRO bidding. Most sites and projects get nice ratings because the devs of those sites secretly bribe their way through or at other times when favouritism is allowed to reign. So, I sincerely don't believe in those skewed ratings.

The new sMerit system instituted by Theymos may be a good measure to guard against forum spamming but this may soon be abused as others before it. Is it going to be a kind of merit my post and I merit yours now like we do have with the Steemit upvote? Vote for me and I would vote you back system now? Cronies meriting cronies posts without substance?
People, what do you all think?

I'm not saying it's impossible, but I have severe doubts that Bitcoin will ever come even close to a million dollars. I personally don't see anything that supports that price level. If anyone has any articles or research they have done, I would like to see if I could potentially be wrong. It would be incredible, but I'm a realist and that seems like a pipe dream.
You are trying to play safe by sitting on the fence here. But I tell you something, it is highly impossible for Bitcoin to get to that $1million price level. With are these issues around its scaling, tx fees and inability to hide transaction details, bitcoin may not even get to $50k level.

Every predictions on bitcoin price level should be jettisoned because every predictions in the past never was accurate. Let us just live each moment with bitcoin as they come and quit bothering about where price gets to months ahead. The price level used to bother me in the past. But it doesn't anymore and that has really helped to keep my emotions under control.

Folks, I am trying to make a list of good upcoming ICO's that will help us everyone. Please add in.
I will start with 2 upcoming ICO.
Arcblock- Blockchain version 3- Next generation blockchain with cloud.
Nucleus Vision- An IOT based project- Love the idea behind the project.
Check the circle ICO on my signature. It is a cryptocurrency that aims at providing solutions in the digital financial world through an innovation that increases wealth sustainably. The focus of the white paper is solid. No, it isn't a shameless plug even though I wear the logo. The devs look serious and real with an easy platform to navigate. VLB ICO is good too.

I quite agree with you on numbers 1, 2 and 4. Those issues raised there are considerable and without doubt will soon be solved. But your 7 and 8 are not only bitcoin specific problems. It also happens with fiat, especially number 8. Shit happens and people do also lose their fiat in banks or robbed on their way from banks. Nothing is totally insured in life, not even life itself.

Hello.
I am new to this world and made nice profit. What's the best way to cash out?
Thanks, L//
The information in your post is a bit sketchy. You may want to tell us on what platform (Exchange or Gaming site) you made the profit so that we can rightly advise you. But generally, two things are involved when you want to cash out or withdraw your profits (that is if it's an exchange). One is the total amount you are cashing out as most exchanges set daily limits and second is your country of domicile and verification.

Many people may regret it. But now it seems. The continuous decline of these days is over? What happens to bitcoin next?
Even if the price of bitcoin had gone beneath $5,000 for correction or because of a FUD, we will still believe that it would bounce back and record another all time high. However, it is really too early to say what the next stage of its price level will be now. Maybe it wikk range awhile before shooting up again. Every btc dip has witnessed a rebound. I expect it here again.
