Yes, you have a right to own an account, one account for one person. But it is quite difficult to believe your claim as we have seen many such stories in the past, which proved to be a lie later on. Do not make wrong conclusions. Because your conclusions are too general.
Its not the mistake of the other users, any one will assume that these accounts belongs to one person. Each situation deserves a separate consideration and a separate decision. And our situation is exactly what it is.
Its a hard task for you to prove your claim. A group photo of all family members with notes on which our nicknames will be written on the forum? No problem. We will do it. Confirmation that we are family members is not a problem, we are ready to provide photos of our passports. Notarization of the fact that each of these people has access to the account - we are ready to do so. Or offer your own version. Otherwise, remove any of your accusations from us.
I am not sure whether it will be considered or not, try your best. But I honestly feel that, there is no need to provide passport, photos or notary on public forums. |

On which basis you are guessing this price I think the price would be almost 50K USD at the end of this year. Though this time is not suitable for this blockchain system and the price is getting lower and lower. this is the acid test for every Bitcoin holders. I believe that Bitcoin price will get a speed and this time Bitcoin price will reach almost 50K USD for sure.
I believe that only after the roll out of Segwit, it is possible to attract more new investors and users towards the bitcoins. Which will ultimately help to boost the price of the bitcoins.
I think this is a great mistake to think that Bitcoin will show a crazy growth again. I am sure it will go up, but not higher than 20-25K.
Why not ? It is possible as the bitcoins has also shown tremendous recovery after that fall. Once the black clouds of negative news gets clear then the price can reach the sky. |

The scenario will change now as test match was a different ball game than the One day. Kohli will be the key while chasing the score as likes to make runs more while chasing a score than batting first. I would think it would be a tough fight between both a teams and we may see a last over finish possibly.
Virat Kohli is the master of chase when it comes to the limited overs cricket. South Africa is a very good team and also don't forget that they have home advantage. After winning the last test match, India must be more confident to start with the ODI series. AB Devilliers has been ruled out from first 3 ODI and it will be an advantage for India.
Apart from Kohli, no one else has the capability to score runs on pitches with good pace and bounce. Even their blowing has been lack-lustre, apart from a few individual performances by Mohammed Shami and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. IMO, they don't have much chances in the one-day series.
Agreed, no indian batsman performed as per their reputation but lets don't forget that the pitch was too difficult for the batsman. Even South African batsman struggled on their home pitch, Virat Kohli was the only batsman who scored century on this difficult pitch. |

Exactly, there is no need to give merit to such older posts, i also support your point.
I see that Satoshi was last active on December 13, 2010, 04:45:41 PM, but he has 736 merit points.
This can be considered as exceptional case, people must be thanking him for creating the bitcoins.
Maybe I'm being stupid, and really I should just go with the flow and pick up a few hundred dollars worth of Bitcoin by making general and lifestyle posts.
Also it is quite unfair to the users who were very close to become a legendary member but overnight everything changed and now they have to double their merits to rank up. I am not complaining, just highlighting the actual situation. I hope the new merit system will deliver the results and it will be helpful to keep this forum relevant and clean. |

Hate to say this - but you lot look like a bunch of farmed accounts.. all with a similar structure username, all with that silly altcoin under your avatar space and all span up within a month of each other.
I am no forensic guy, but it looks odd to me - maybe some others will comment about it.
As pointed out by TMAN, I also think that these account must be linked with each other as there are too much similarities between their username pattern, posts and personal text. Why these same looking accounts are posting on a same thread ? Is this coincident or something else ? I am not sure but still have doubts. |

It will only affect the new investors and the people who bought the bitcoin at high value. Those who are early adopters and have invested initially, won't be affected due to this price fall as they are already in profit. I am also holding few bitcoins from last 2 years and i am still in a profit. I bought when the price was $17000
Make sure to hold the coins for longer time, price will be increased in the coming months so just hold on. |

If you have many bitcoins then it is recommended to store them on hardware wallet due to security reasons and for the small amount with regular use you can go with the Electrum wallet, which is best and most popular at the moment. |

I think that members should only be allowed to award one point per post. It is already apparent that the sig spammers and account farmers are picking up 30-50 points a time for rubbish posts.
I also recommend to allow maximum 5 sMerits per post, this will help to reduce such abuse.
It's not a solution to all the forum's problems but it now at least stops people from creating multiple accounts and just shitposting with them to rank up. Now if you don't put some effort in you will get no where. More restrictions/punishments need to be put on badly run campaigns though otherwise little will change regarding the quality of posts here.
Yes, it has destroyed the dreams of account farmers and shit posters. Introduction of new ranking and merit system is a good initiative to make this forum better for the community. More such actions should be taken frequently in order to control the quality of this forum. I think the new system is a bad idea. I really don't think people will give out much merit at all. Even if you write the most amazing post, you probably wont get merit. Most people don't have any to give either. I think it will end up with almost everyone not advancing and people with lots of merit will probably sell it for money to people. All in all not a good system.
There are many users who are appreciating the good posts by giving the sMerits. But it has been also observed that, people who are starting the topics/threads are getting more sMerits (obviously for quality post) and its hard to get merits for the good quality posts lying in the middle of page/pages. |

South Africa now require another 224 runs to win this match and they still got nine wickets. SA lost the first wicket quite early in the second innings and If Indian bowler continues like this today as well then they can win this match. India should take wickets regularly without fail to put more pressure on SA batsman. On this kind of pitch, Indian batsman posted decent runs in second innings and they may try very hard to win this match today.
South Africa playing with ease on difficult pitch and looking to win the match, yesterday match was called off by calling pitch as doctored and unplayable pitch but today pitch is eased out to bat, don't know what in the over night. Just 117 runs required to seal the series by 3-0 and they will do it. India have won the test match by 63 runs. South Africa looked strong when Edgar and Amla were playing, but once Amla got out India kept chipping away. A whirlwind second session when South Africa lost seven wickets sealed the victory for India. The pitch was bad for test cricket and I am sure the match referee will penalize the ground. Whatever that reason India will be very happy to win the test match in SA after a long time. Also, Indians was thinking that they will never win a single test match but this win will surely give them a boost to their confidence level to go to one-day series and T20 matches. I think one-day matches and test matches are quite different and Indian side should win more matches in the one-day game. Let's see how they will perform in both one-day and T20 matches. Did anyone win bet in this match? Excellent bowling performance by the India, superb spell from mohammed shami. When Almla and Elgar were playing brilliantly, no one -have imagined that India will manage to win this match. For this, my proposal would be to limit the amount of postings required in any campaign to 1 a day or no more than 7 or 10 a week.
This has been already implemented. There was a time, where minimum required post count was 100 in order to get paid. It was one of the reason for spamming but by the time it was reduced to 20 to 25 post per week. It would not be feasible to the projects who runs these campaign to promote their project; if you further reduce the post counts to 10 per week then it will affect their promotion. |

I decided that the previous allocation was too unfair in this area, so everyone with activity >= 775 got 500 more merit if they didn't already have 1000 merit (and also Lutpin). No extra sMerit, though.
That's a wise decision. To make it even wiser something similar should be applied also for some or all of the lower ranks who are close to the next rank. Perhaps those who already have 75% of the necessary activity for the next rank or perhaps 90% or 99% or whatever. My view is that 75% would be optimal. The point is to implement more fairness in the process of switching to the new rules. Such a decision would cut down a lot of polemics and frustration across the forum. Especially Full Members who had to turn Senior or Seniors who had to turn Heros in days with the actual rules have been too much penalized, suddenly missing 150 or 250 merits for the next rank which they were about to achieve. To receive so many merits could now take them years, as they are so scarce. can I get some extra Merits too? 770 activity  You can not ask for sMerit, you have to earn it by making quality post. Don't repeat this or else you might get negative trust for begging. |

sMerit per user is finite, unless you're a source, so selling sMerits now will just stop sooner or later because they'll ran out of sMerit quickly. Thus the sMerit sales is not a big concern at the moment.
I do understand that sMerit is finite and soon they will run out of sMerit, but what about those who have multiple accounts. They will still manage to abuse the system and it will be hard to track these users, though DTs are doing excellent job.
I think that in few weeks people will stop making so many posts about merit system.
New system is quite simple and it was well explained by theymos in the original post, people are not reading the main thread thoroughly and hence raising unnecessary doubts. |

How to stop this, as they are abusing the main motive behind this newly introduced ranking and merit system ? If this continues then the actual idea for launching this system will be failed and it will continue to encourage the illegal sales of sMerit.

India looks in strong position to win this match unless it's abandoned, the Indian captain has decided against it and now I feel team India will look to steal maximum runs. However this is the most dangerous pitch to be battling on, if India crosses 250 its team India winning it right away, otherwise the clamour for Kohli to be sacked will grow but he's done nothing wrong actually.
India have done well to reach 199/6 at tea on the third day. In all probability, this match will finish on the fourth day itself. If India can score another 30-40 runs, they will be firmly in the driver's seat, considering how this pitch has behaved. As far as Kohli is concerned, he has performed well but his team hasn't. The reasons could be related to his leadership. As Ramachandra Guha said, maybe there should be somebody who can stand up to Kohli. Now the match has been stopped, thanks to bouncy pitch and short-length balls combined. Virat is not getting convinced for a stop, LOL, situation seems interesting. Match has been stopped due to the rain, target for the south africa is 241 to win this match and they have already lost 1 wicket. So SA need 224 more runs from two days with 9 wickets in hand, it seems hard as the pitch is getting very difficult for the batsman. The pitch will support the fast bowlers and it will provide unexpected angle and bounce for them, such deliveries will be unplayable for the batsman. I don't think that match will be called off due to poor pitch as its too late now, india is in good position and it will be unfair to them if the game did not complete. It will be a real test for the south african batsman as they have to chase the huge score on the difficult pitch and against the deadly bowlers. Lets see what happens on day 4. |
