2121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: November 05, 2022, 05:17:35 PM
What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?

When I make a bad loss (big loss) I try to read novels/watch movies and/or I try to take a rest. I stop playing/gambling for a few days/weeks/months and I try to restart playing after several days/weeks/months. And I continue playing until I make another big loss on another gambling/casinos.
Getting over a bad loses is just too uneasy for us especially if we have gamble with the fund that is meant for something else. It is never easy like the way we might think depending on what particular game took the money and what the money would have been used for.
Getting over a bad lose is uneasy and slightly difficult to achieve but we might not have the full momentum to get over but all we just have to do is to keep moving in respective of how huge the loses could have been.

As they say, time heals anything, so that will take some time to forget and get over with the bad losses we experienced.

Even me is somehow guilty about this because in the past, there's are times that I tend to spend some funds that is intended for other use in-order to continue my gambling or with the hopes to get what I've lost but in most cases, I didn't manage to regain it and just got barely got home with a penny in my pocket. That's where I've learned my lessons, that is why now I'm just carrying enough that I can afford to lose and so that I won't go overboard again.
2122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 05, 2022, 04:53:51 PM

It will be an interesting fight if Casimero will bring his entertaining skills. I mean, he loves the attention he must win the crowd here.

He really need to make a comeback win with this one and give the audiences the fight they really wanted to see from him. If his skills are still there, the fans all around the world will demand to see him fighting Inoue next. When their managers see the demand of that fight, they will gonna negotiate and make it come true.

Skills-wise, many will agree with me that Casimero has the edge on this department and I think he would work hard on his training regimen because that would be the only way that he can be sure to beat Akaho, I mean skills are nothing if the hard work is not there, it should work side by side.

For me, Casimero is a marketable fighter because of his antics and he doesn't need to be associated with Inoue at this point in his career because that money fight will come if he will focus on his goal which is to be back on his winning ways.

I definitely agree with you on that, Casimero has an edge over Akaho, but he shouldn't be slacking because of that as he still need to finish this fight with a good outcome to send a message in this division. He needed to work his way again through the ranks just like what he did in bantamweight division and Inoue fight could be interesting but that is not he needed now. There will be a time for that.

Yes, no doubt about that. Casimero clearly have the upper hand compared to this Ryo Akaho who's not that known and doesn't have any impressive figures in his rapsheet. I mean, even the users in this forum are siding and voting in Casimero's favor, and that is not so surprising at all. What I want to see is how would Casimero finish this fight because surely, just like what you have said, Casimero needs to send a message.
If Akaho will engage which he has that capabilities in taking solid punches, it's nice seeing a toe-to-toe exchanges of punches that may lead of them down, a KO will hype the name of whoever will win this fight, siding to Casimero is no longer a surprise, he is a former Champ who never lose his belt into a fight but by technicalities.

A good challenge to him now, preparing for his upcoming fight, a new division which would be the first step in his new journey.

It will be a good fight and knowing that Casimero is somehow careless and would try to bait this Akaho to give what he wanted and that is a toe-to-toe fight. Not sure who will survive at the end but I think Casimero have the advantage, and he should give everything just to shift the fight on his favor as this fight will determine his future in this industry.
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: November 05, 2022, 04:28:18 PM
IMO, this whole circus and failure to materialize this fight could be blamed to Errol Spence and it seems to me that the latter is playing safe and for me, if he have fought Crawford, he could lose that is why he avoided him at this time. I just starting to think that "eye injury" just might be an alibi for him to cancel his fight with the Pacman lol.

Per article that I have read, Spence might fight Thurman and we all knew how dangerous Thurman is so let us wait and see if this negotiation will prosper.

Surely it looked like a circus to me. Spence is the one who should be blame and Al Haymon as well because they know that the current Terence Crawford is still unstoppable. Sure Al's boy could throw some serious punch but Crawford will just eat all of it to the point that Crawford could return all those heavy punches. It was just a show to hype Spence's name just because he defeated Ugas with a stoppage.

As of now, we all have a speculations on who will face Spence next, let's just wait for it because their camp is quite unpredictable Grin
2124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 05, 2022, 04:08:18 PM
Somehow different but either way it's just like you're betting in a lottery and as long as Inoue is not yet announced as the winner then Paul Butler still do have a chance. It might take a one lucky punch or miracle but a chance is a chance, no matter how slim it is. We never know mate because Butler here may write a history who pulls the biggest upset in the boxing history.

Butler might find a lucky opening but if that punch he will make from that lucky opening is enough to take down Inoue, that's the question. Inoue's built is really tough and even though Donaire was able to injure him badly on their first meeting, Inoue still recovers and takes the unanimous win.

There's no bantamweight boxer right now that can be injured again Inoue aside from Donaire. Donaire can even take Butler without a problem.

This is really a landslide victory for Inoue without a doubt.

This is just too unfortunate for Butler because it is really hard to imagine that he can upset Inoue, even Donaire haven't managed to do and destroy the monster's armor during their 2nd encounter, how much more if it's Paul Butler. It will take a miracle to take that punch that will defeat Inoue but that is so unlikely to happen here. This is not to underestimate Butler but it is what it is.
2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 05, 2022, 02:33:01 PM
But, the really starts when 2nd half starts, it was the Magic patience and determination that keeps them alive and really steps up
to even the game in the last few minutes of the game.
I really like how the Orlando Magic played them last night ang they don't seem to care that their opponent are the depending champion. They managed to execute great play throughout the last minutes and they won the game. GSW was also doing good and they were sinking threes as well but it's not enough since it was the Magic night.
No pressure from this team because they don't have a superstar, I mean they are a young team, and winning against the depending champ makes them confident going forward. Warriors are struggling, they have a serious problem now, this is by far the longest losing streak I witness from this team.
They're by far the worst with the start of the season just like with the Lakers but now we're seeing progress as they beat the defending champion. I think for the Warriors that Green-Poole drama plus that Klay with Booker was just a few to mention that may take a toll on this struggle but they'll bounce back after this. I'm sure with that.

Well, they did not as they lost the game for the 5th time on their five straight road games but on this game, they can somehow make an excuse because Curry, Thompson and Wiggins didn't play to rest and to heal their respective injuries. The guys on the 2nd squad with Poole are the ones who faced Zion, Ingram and McCollum. It was a fun game and it was just a 5 point game, not bad for the guys on the second squad against the NOP.
2126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 02, 2022, 05:32:54 PM

It will be an interesting fight if Casimero will bring his entertaining skills. I mean, he loves the attention he must win the crowd here.

Well, I have no doubt Casimero will make it an entertaining fight, however, it's also important Akaho will be willing to give his 100% and do a toe to toe fight, not like Rigondeaux who just run all night.  Smiley I am not too familiar on his opponent but judging his boxing record, I know this guy is willing to exchange faces with his opponent.

I'm already expecting a heavy fight because both of them has their own goal and only by a way of win can meet those goals they have. The only difference is that Casimero is looking for a good fight where he can bounce back while Akaho is seeing Casimero as a way to get his name known in the international league. What I want to see is Casimero's mind games, I hope we can get some glimpse soon.
2127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge coin of fire, the master is now on the throne on: November 02, 2022, 04:58:51 PM
Have you noticed the bull run with dogecoin when Elon musk got hold of tweeter. Dogecoin is around $0.13 now. This is no surprise for dogecoin hodlers I believe and now that Elon is in charge more bull soon is expected.

Do you think the bull is from the increase of bitcoin to $20k or because Elon musk is on the tweeter throne. What is our thoughts ?

Seriously? The sudden increase of Dogecoin is not connected to bitcoin's short rally to $20k and there's no way that there will be more investors who will put some of their funds on Doge just because of that increase and investors have already learned their lessons not to mess with memecoins again as they are more unpredictable.

The true reason why Dogecoin is now trading at that price is because Elon Musk is working again to hype it and some are trying to ride the hype train again hoping that they could board before it sets again. OP should know and be aware that it's not for long-term and I'm quite sure of that.
2128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mentally prepared are you? on: November 02, 2022, 04:29:07 PM
Well to be short and clear if you are into this market for a long time you you are definitely ready do everything even for the time when the market collapse or rises up in a few seconds.
Yes but sometimes you will be still affected by those unusual events that we may encounter in the future.Just to be ready we need to have at least set in our minds that no matter how dip it will be it will go up again, and also we need to plan before investing in anything so we will not have some regrets.

Yup, and it's really okay to take some setbacks because we cannot be physically and mentally ready all the time as we don't know what will happen down the road. What we're holding might collapse or might set another ATH, we really don't know but the important thing is that we know that bitcoin will always recover no matter how rock bottom it is. Just hodl fellas, we're getting there soon!
2129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: November 02, 2022, 03:32:35 PM
Agree, if Canelo was really up to money, then he would make an exhibition fight with someone from Asia, like Floyd Mayweather did. As to Jake Paul - cant wait when he will fight someone his age, but not veterans. Silva gave him a good competitive fight. If Jake is such a good boxer, why he did not call any real fighters, but keep on fighting against veterans. It is good to see that Jake is having progress in boxing, but he hasnt earn any respect yet.

Right! If Jake Paul is really that serious on hoping that Canelo will answer his calling then it might be much better for him to forget his hopes and what he have said during the post-fight because he is not on Canelo's level and aside from that, he can't call himself a true boxer as well who fights through the ranks because he haven't started yet.

It occurs to me also about why does Jake Paul didn't fight any real boxer? There's so many boxers in cruiserweight division that will be good to start with but he have to accept the fact that money won't be flowing anymore, for now while he's still on the process.
2130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 02, 2022, 02:37:15 PM
Edit: Steve Nash fired as the Nets coach.

This is not good news, and I don't think Nash deserved to be fired. First of all, it should be noted that Nash didn't have enough experience to manage players like Irving, Durant, and Harden in his first year as head coach. Therefore the beginning of Nash's coaching career was extremely difficult because he had to constantly adapt to solve various problems on the team.
By the way, there are already rumors that the Nets are in talks with Udoka, and I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the new Nets' head coach.

p.s
It looks like Durant will be pleased with himself because he pushed for Nash's firing since the offseason.

Surely not a good thing for the Nets because they need Steve Nash now more than ever and seriously not a wise move from the management. Because why would they fire Steve Nash? It was just a bad start and it's not like that they haven't' won at least 1 game since the season started, they should've give him more time to adjust too as having the Big Three Drama Queens under his watch is not an easy thing to do because they have their own worlds.

Also, is this real that Ime Udoka will be replacing Steve Nash? Because I don't think that the Celtics will just simply agree as having Udoka in other team means that the Bucks weaknesses will be revealed too. Seriously, what happened to NBA these days? Everybody want instant progress.
2131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 02, 2022, 02:11:55 PM
My pick for tonight.

Oklahoma City Thunder(-3,5) vs Orlando Magic = Oklahoma City Thunder Win 1,92 Odds

My bet loss yesterday, but I hope We will win tonight.

Good Luck.

I'm with you on that one, orlando is gonna lose a lot of games as a young team.

Also Luke golden state getting +1 on the road in Miami.  And to round it out give me the Nets -1.5 at home against the Bulls.  It will be an emotional game with Nash just getting shown the door.  Think they pull this one out.  Good luck everyone!

I did bet on that +1 on the Golden State Warriors on the road, it was very close game, and in the 3rd quarter, Warriors had a good run to take a good lead.

However, not sure what's wrong with the Warriors right now, they seems to not close out games. They were still tied and a good chance to win. But their defense broke down, allowing Lowry for a good ahead and take a 2 point lead and that was enough to break them down.

Also thought the same question in my head mate and I don't also know what is the answer about it but let's just give them some benefit of the doubt because it seems that coach Steve Kerr is not that worried about their situation too, so that means that they know what is happening and still got the control. But it was a good game though.
2132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: November 01, 2022, 03:08:08 PM
Well to me, bear market is as important as the bull market. Because we need some correction of price, structures, some solid supports. Imagine if all we have is a bull market. Everyone would want to hop into it. But the bear market teaches patience, Trust, learning from mistakes and a whole lot. So Bear market is as Important as Bull market
both between the bullish and bearish markets are important in certain situations and conditions. like for people who still want to accumulate more bitcoins. then of course the bear market is very important because we can accumulate bitcoin at a low price. but for people who have finished accumulating bitcoin then of course they expect a bullrun market to come soon. because of the bull market it becomes important to get benefit and profit from their investment in bitcoin. so these both become important at certain times and situations.

Right, in other words, bear season and bullish season are there for a reason and both of them is important, no one is more important than the other one and they are not seriously existing with a sole reason to make our lives difficult.

Just imagine a bear season as a planting season and a season for the cryptocurrencies to be tested if they are truly worth it or not, while the bull season as season to harvest what we sow. Aside from that, there are also some investors who still accumulate coins in the height of bullish season because they believe that they are still buying those specific coins at a much cheaper price as they envisioned that it will be much more expensive in the future.
2133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Countries that are Legal and Illegal in gambling on: November 01, 2022, 02:38:10 PM
Gambling is truly something that could help a country's government if done properly and we'll regulated.
It is also no doubt that, gambling despite it's ability to help ones government, it also has it's detriments which includes addictiveness, emotional and mental destability, are few to mention that most times might lead to criminality just to be able to cover up the loses.
Most countries like Nigeria are all good promoters of gambling with some restrictions, especially that of age, as no one below the age of 18 is legally permitted to gamble.

It is also true that some other countries despite the prohibition of gambling, still indulge in it mostly online.

That is right, some countries are banning all sorts of gambling because their governments have other resources to explore and rely on, while some cannot afford to see an increase in their crime rates because of addicts caused by gambling, not just that, there are families too that are being destroyed and children's future are also affected all because of gambling alone. These scenarios can't be prevented that is why their government are banning them and even if it's banned, it's still cannot be prevented because there are still some ways that a gambler can gamble under the radar.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jermell Charlo vs Tim Tszyu - Jan 28, 2023 on: November 01, 2022, 02:00:18 PM
Tim is a huge underdog in this fight. This is the first time he is facing such experienced opponent. Dont know, maybe he should have one more intermediate fight before he is testing himself in a title fight. He could have ask for an advice from his father, but his father is not involved into Tim's careers, as Tim said that he wants to achieve everything himself (like his dad). He says that if father is involved, then everyone would think that he has achieved everything only with fathers help. I think Charlo gonna win by UD here, he is more matured, had better opponents.

Jermell may have a lot of experienced but Tim is capable and ready for a big fight like this I have seen him knocking out fighters with one punch and dominating every situation his opponents bring out, if you want to see how good Tim is check out this video
Tim Tszyu Highlights and Knockouts 2022
he might pull a huge upset here the match is still three months, I'm sure the build-up leading to this fight will be hot.

Experience and IQ are the only edge for Charlo here and if he will be going to win this fight then I bet it would be unanimous decision and certainly not a knockout or stoppage because he's not that kind of boxer. But Tim here is quite good, pretty record and impressive knockout ratio, which I bet it will be a good match to see as Charlo here will get tested if he's still worth it to be called as the undisputed champion in 154 lbs. Not overrating the challenger but it is what it is.
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 01, 2022, 01:20:10 PM

Ring rust, everyone has to go to this. It's just a matter on how boxers are going to shake it off. And most likely, when Casimero's experience, he might likely start slow in this fight but eventually find his rhythm and this could end up to be a very good fight to watch as this could be war in his first fight at 122 lbs.

Nah, Casimero understands that a win here is his ticket for the next big fight, he was off for a while but he is still hungry for a win since he did not actually lose in a fight, he just got stripped with his belt which I believe he regretted his mistake. His comeback fight is something we should not miss to see if that fire in him is still there as he needed that to have a chance to face Inoue in the future.

Yes, I think the motivation and the hungry is still in the belly of Casimero. You are right that he didn't lose any fight or his belt, it's just he can't make the desired weight at 118 lbs.

So he will have be extra motivated in this new weight class, he will for sure look for the likes of Inoue if he decided to jump on this division or the current champion. Although there could be argument that he might be too small at 122 lbs but we will see if his power will be enough in this new division.

After being stripped of his WBO belt, unable to fight because of his medical condition, being suspended on his defense fight, and having nothin else left, Casimero is really hungry and more motivated to get the job done right. This is his opportunity to somehow climb again at the ranks and compete for the championship title.

But unfortunately, lots of big monsters are now in the super bantamweight and if Inoue will moved up to, another big challenge for Casimero if ever he can now be considered to fight against those on the top of the rankings.

And all of that unfortunate situations of Casimero happened in I think in just a span of 5 months, just like you said, he was hospitalized and had to recover first before starting his rigorous training to make sure that he'll remove the excess weight he had as he already had the history of having issues with his fight. When everything feels right, he was stripped by his belt few days before the fight because a video of him have leaked.

Cannot imagine how did Casimero feel after those unprecedented situations, surely he took some of his time reflecting about those incidents before deciding to climb in this new division. Now that he's back and hungry, I'll expect a good match from him.
2136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 01, 2022, 10:37:18 AM
Another game tomorrow for the Lakers, still against the Nuggets, so we can assume that it's another massacre? I'm guessing, their losing streak will continue after this game as they have no answer on this good team, I hope I'm wrong because I want to see their cold streak end.

Had expected the same situation because they've been defeated by the Nuggets already in their first encounter this season but this time was different, it's like they suddenly found their correct routine and synch. Westbrook bounced back too and almost got a triple double coming from the bench, surely that's shocking enough. Let's see if they can repeat their play in the next game against the Pelicans.

They need to bring that spirit and the teamwork for them to make another win. Today's game silent the critics, but for sure they are just
waiting for another loss from the Lakers and those hates will flow back.

Against the Pelicans where Zion is back, it's another challenge for the Lakers, though seeing the fun inside the locker room means a lot
for this team.

They are building good relationships and it can be converted to good chemistries inside the court, both offensive and defensive role
is very important in each game that they will play together.

After getting their 1st win of the season, they will be tested again because they are playing against a much heavier team this time and it's the Pelicans next where Zion will play. Ingram is out but the team can still handle the Lakers power especially now that the Lakers just got their form and morale back. This will be an interesting game, for sure.
2137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: November 01, 2022, 10:04:56 AM
No surprise here, Jake Paul won like I said he will, but I expected fight won't go to distance with decision win.
I think he is going to call out some new MMA fighter for his next fight, maybe Nate Diaz or someone else.
Jake called out Dana White again and said he can suck his d*ck  Grin but it's best to listen his full post fight interview:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEJU7E8rJsk

He called out Nate Diaz (calling him a bitch and plenty more) right after his fight.  He also said Canelo could get it too...  I think either would be good opponents, or Andrew Tate, but it seems like Logan Paul is the one going after Andrew Tate after his appearance on the Suga Show podcast.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, look up Logan Paul's appearance on Sean O'Malley's podcast that was posted yesterday.  Logan goes after Andrew Tate hard.  If Tate doesn't step up and accept a fight with Logan after this, similarly to if Nate Diaz doesn't accept a fight with Jake, their reputations are definitely going to take a hit.  Although I understand they're all different types of fighters, except for Canelo and Jake...

canelo or nate diaz, whoever is the next. definitely, jake paul is now banking on the next payout from his win over silva. wonder what dana white have to say about this, because jake paul and white have beef with each other. seems that paul is getting the interest of retired professional boxers or MMA fighters. can he really challenge canelo?  Tongue

I don't know who's next but one thing is for sure for me, that won't be Canelo Alvarez and it will be much better for Jake if he will fight a bonafide boxer next and not some washed out fighters again because that will help his career more as he already got some skills and he is a kind of heavy hitter too. Better stop dreaming for a Canelo Alvarez fight because the current p4p king is not interested in fights that doesn't have any titles on the line.

Yes, Canelo will just laugh it out and I don't think that he is willing to lay everything on on the line to fight Jake Paul. And Canelo has some unfinished business with Bivol (assuming Bivol will win against Ramirez).

Maybe Jake Paul blurted out the name of Canelo, for hype's sake because Alvarez is the cash cow of cash cow right now.

Of course, seriously, why would Canelo risk everything on the line against the likes of Jake Paul doesn't have anything to offer. If it's money, Canelo won't still bother to answer it because he can make those money fights against a much proficient boxer. For now, there's no boxer who will get Canelo's attention except Bivol.
2138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 31, 2022, 04:22:37 PM
Two losses now for the Warriors team. This is not normal and they were up against a Detroit Pistons team.
They will surely be more intense in their next game against the Miami Heat. I will be expecting them to win this one and avoid a 3rd losing streak.

Yeah, but still early to push the panic button for the Warriors, they just needed to win, one game at a time, it was just their loses were not blow up games, it's very close and it was just the breaks of the game.

76ers vs Wizards - I might go with the Sixers at -4.5 @1.90. Although Joel could be questionable, they have found or at least they have a new player to rely, in Maxey.

There's no need for us to worry about the Warriors because they still know what they are doing, they've been like this too last season but still they became the champion. They are still in control, it's still to early to say that the Warriors have lost their strengths.

Anyway, I'll tail you on that one and I'll add Hornets -1 @ 1.91. Lots of games tomorrow but only few got me interested. The bucks though is on a winning streak since the season started and there's a high chance that it will be their sixth win tomorrow versus the Pistons but the spread is too ridiculously high, it's -13 Grin
No way I'd risk for that.
2139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: October 31, 2022, 03:46:13 PM
In many days i see in my port filo 5$ up and 5$ down , what is the best strategy to increase profit?
There is no best strategy in increasing your portfolio as an investor than to trade your coin. The market is not moving well like it used to be so if we keep holding our coins in the wallet, it will take longer time for all these to have good profits because the market is not moving well. Staking is also good but it will take longer for you to make resealable profits.

That's one way for sure to make some profits in this bear season but we know that trading is not for everyone as it needed some knowledge and pouring huge time to make some studies on how to trade effectively, and it needs some decent capital too. Still, one of the best and easiest way that even a newbie can do is to buy and hodl especially in this situation that we can buy coins/projects at a much cheaper price but before that, he or she must have some first hand knowledge first before selecting a couple of coins/projects in the market to somehow minimize the risks.
2140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk is one of the keys to be 100k$ per Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2022, 03:24:01 PM
Do you think Elon Musk is one of those who will push the price of bitcoin up to reach 100k$ each when the bull run comes?

I know Elon Musk has becoming more and more famous because of his antics and motives, we know he's ultra rich or whatever we call his status now. One thing is for sure, with or without Elon Musk, bitcoin will reach $100,000 on its own time and phase, that is inevitable. Even if he holds lots of bitcoins, I doubt he do have the power to control the market. Bitcoin ain't Doge.
