1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: May 09, 2023, 07:46:47 PM

It is unfortunate when injuries can do things against us, because looking at it from one point of view, a boxer who has at least one injury is the vulnerability that the other boxer will take advantage of, and that is something that has a high value, for me things They cannot occur that way, I have Practiced this sport, and the worst injury that there can be and that is silent is that of the shoulder, because for me a boxer has the greatest strength there, not in the forearms but in the shoulders, but Whether it's on the wrist or hands, it's more Bearable, but one Shoulder gives everything.

Indeed, an injury will truly affect the movements of a boxer.

even that fighter can endure the pain but the limitations with his capabilities will really compromise, I see your point as you experienced this sport and you understand it well, with that shoulder injuries that you are mentioning I agree with you that it's harder to move if you have that pain, your flexibility can be exposed and your opponents can easily detect that and will take the advantages against you.

Just like what happened to Vasyl Lomachenko, just a few weeks before his fight with Teofimo Lopez, Loma happened to have an injury in his rotator cuff which is situated right on top his shoulder which literally gave him a trouble throwing good punches towards his challenger, Lopez, because having that kind of injury will really give the boxer a hard time for even lifting his arm as that is so painful.

If he didn't got that injury, his upcoming fight with Haney was already finished years ago and we may have known the outcome already because Loma only lacked the WBC which Haney possess at that time.
1322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 09, 2023, 06:49:19 PM

I think the team should trade Jordan Poole since he hasn't been as useful as he was during the last playoffs. I'm not sure what happened to him, but since receiving a huge contract, his stats have dropped significantly.
If the Warriors fall to the Lakers, there will be no more opportunity for Jordan Poole to prove himself. He has been inconsistent, especially in the postseason, and it's unlikely that the team will still consider him as a player to grow with. I'm not sure if the Warriors made a mistake by giving him a max contract instead of Draymond, but I think they may be regretting that decision now.

No doubt, the front office are surely pointing fingers now because Jordan is not that consistent anymore and even in the crunch time, his presence and performance is not that reliable at all compared last playoffs where he was indeed helpful to the team. Last night, Jordan Poole failed to contribute even 1 point towards the team and surely nobody is appreciating him for that

Jordan Poole, recently:
Game 4: 0-4 FG ; 0-2 3PT
Game 3: 2-9 FG ; 0-4 3PT
Game 2: 3-6 FG ; 0-2 3PT

That was his recent playoffs stats after receiving a contract extension worth $128 Million (4 years).
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: May 09, 2023, 06:16:14 PM
And in the Akaho fight, he make the weight without any issues so he will be fine now. It's just how he is going to be in this fight as everyone is expecting that he will score a knockout victory here.

He has moved up in weight, so he is comfortable in his current division. Casimero is likely to make weight without any problems, and we are lucky to see him perform at his best again in front of Filipinos. I can't wait to see this fight, and hopefully, our local channels will televise it for free.

Casimero is fighting a non-championship fight, which is quite new to us. We miss seeing him fight for a championship, but it is what it is now. He wasted his opportunity to become an undisputed champion, but we still support him to be successful again, as we don't have a lot of popular Filipino boxers in the world at the moment.

Yes, we do hope that he has learn his lessons in the past, be professional and make the weight. And with that, he has wanted a lot of opportunities, including a fight with Inoue.

Anyhow, even non-Filipinos who has follow the sports of boxing knows what Casimero can bring in the table. He is a former champion after all and he need to win this one in front of his home town as I can see that he is being treated as as hero as well, similar to Manny Pacquiao. This is just another stepping stone for him and if he wins he then definitely he will again shake the division and call out high rank fighters in this division.

Here is the April ranking of the WBO. An impressive win over Nghitumbwa can give Casimero a big chance of fighting for the title next year or even this year is also possible. #1 Inoue is already facing the champion. #2 Aleem and #4 Goodman are already set to face each other in an IBF final eliminator. #3 Nery already won a WBC partial eliminator and is likely to face a final WBC eliminator or he could also become the WBC mandatory right away. This leaves #5 Casimero as the highest-ranked without a commitment to another organization or a scheduled opponent after Filippus.

The WBO and WBC belts though are already unified and the WBC might be the first to issue their mandatory next year. There's also the possible 4-belt unification between the winner of Inoue-Fulton and Tapales which may further prolong the chances of Casimero getting his title shot. But maybe if Inoue wins the WBO-WBC belt and WBA-IBF champion Tapales needs to face the Aleem vs Goodman winner next, Casimero might get picked.

Depends on the hype because we all know that organizers are much more leaning towards a fight who can give them more profits. Now, if Inoue will be successful enough and became the undisputed in this division, he will likely face Casimero first (given that Casimero have defeated his own opponent in the next few days) because I doubt that he will be given a mandatory title defense fight that early when he just got the belts under his possession.

Besides, if Casimero will be successful on his own path, I'm inclined that he may target the interim holders so that his chances to face the champion(s) will increase more. He surely knows that time is not on his side anymore and so it won't be helpful on his situation if he will just wait for any opportunity rather than working towards it.
1324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 09, 2023, 06:10:32 PM

The Knicks have been struggling, whether they are playing at home or on the road. They were only able to win one game, and that was when Butler was out. However, in game 5, Butler is expected to play, so it's likely that the series will come to an end.

True, it's hard to trust this team even though they're playing at home because it seems like they haven't found a way to beat the Heat. In terms of experience, the Heat have a big advantage. It's unfortunate that they had a very bad regular season, but in the postseason, they've shown their playoff form. Despite being the underdogs, they are the ones dominating their opponents.

So if the series ends in five games, the Heat will have had an impressive first and second round.

The Heat have already beaten the Bucks 4-1 and the Knicks 4-1 soon. Who will they face next?

And they still keep working towards the top and beating the favorite, and soon the New York Knicks too if they cannot find a way to handle Jimmy Butler and their big man plus they've got a nice roster that can swap with each other's role which even gave more struggle to the Knicks because their roster aside from Randle and Brunson are still inconsistent.

Now if this trend continues and Heat are going to compete in the Eastern Finals, they will probably face the fiercest team alive in the East right now. Either Celtics and Sixers, it will be a good match-up versus the Miami Heat.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: May 08, 2023, 09:59:02 PM
To avoid scam projects we need to understand and research first about the project. Check on the legitimacy of their website and social media channel for more information about the team who are responsible for the project. Check as well their experiences and credibility. Read and evaluate their white paper for their business plan and outline. Be conscious on the projects that promises unrealistic rate of returns that uses aggresive marketing strategies. Always trust your instincts.

Well said mate. These steps may sound easy but it's not that easy if you're the one working on it and these are so vital if you're looking forward to invest in the world of cryptocurrency or even in the other field, rigorous research and studies should be done first hand before putting your funds on it. Risks will be always there, what are we looking for is to minimize those risks because we're trying to find the profits and not the losses. But in these times where internet is available almost everywhere in the globe, it makes our job more easier because almost everything can be looked up on the web and it can also suggests top working coins that are profitable to invest in the past few years and in the upcoming future.
1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 08, 2023, 09:35:36 PM

That's the spirit! I lost my bet on the Nuggets too, but you know there's always tomorrow, so bouncing back is the best option. My bet for tomorrow is the Warriors moneyline. I have a feeling that they'll even the series in a close game.

Actually, I really like what is happening right now because both teams are giving us a great time watching great basketball games, and I am really into this for me I want to see those two teams in the Finals but I am seeing them cutting each other's throat so early, Because Aside from the Boston Celtics team the Los Angeles Lakers is another team that could surely win the Champion,

My picks for tomorrow's game

Miami Heat VS New York Knicks - GAME 4 (Miami Leads 2 - 1)

The stake odds for this game are 1.55 for the Heat and 2.55 for the Knicks, for now, Tyler Herro, can not play for the Heat, and Udonis Haslem, Haywood Highsmith, Caleb Martin, and Jimmy Butler are all questionable if they can play for the Heat, while Immanuel Quickley is questionable if he can play for the Knicks, right now the Heat are in the lead, again if Jimmy Butler can not play for this game the Knicks will have a chance of winning but I guess the Knicks will somehow make this game a tie, I really don't know what they will do but at least make this game a tie so my picks are the New York Knicks,

Los Angeles Lakers VS Golden State Warriors - GAME 4 (Lakers Leads 2 - 1)

The stake odds for this game are 1.69 for the Lakers and 2.23 for the Warriors, for now, Mo Bamba, Anthony Davis, and LeBron James are still questionable if they can play for the Lakers, while Andre Iguodala and Patrick Baldwin Jr. can not play for the Warriors, for this game and game 3 was really a frustration, there are many turnovers some blocks and missed 3 points by both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson they are not shakin' and bakin' but on game 4 I really think this is the time for retaliation and a Warriors win so my pick is the Golden State Warriors,

Seems like almost everyone here are rooting for the underdogs to win and there's no doubt that there chances to win are huge enough to start considering for those yummy moneyline. As for the Lakers vs Warriors match-up in Game 4, I know the game will be so tight just like any other game in their series, that's why this time, I'll prefer betting live just to increase my chances.

But for the Heat vs Knicks, I'll be leaning towards the home team -4.5 this time around because it seems to me that the Knicks are really struggling even though the Heat are short manned.

Good luck! First game will begin in few hours from now.

Riding you with the Miami Heat at home, spread is not that big so I'm positive that they can somehow find a way to cover the handicap.

This will be a tight game for sure because the Knicks surely don't want to have a 3-1 deficit when they go back on their home and host the next game but it's just hard to unsee what playoff Jimmy can do which gave the Heat a good advantage whether if it's on the road or at home. Game 2 belonged to the Knicks but I see that they barely won that game even though Jimmy is not around.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 08, 2023, 08:39:04 PM
As for Moloney vs Astrolabio match, even though Moloney is a challenger, but he has a good chance to win in this fight.
Both boxers are viewed as the challenger since the WBO belt was recently vacated by the former undisputed Naoya Inoue and that means that the belt is vacant now, therefore, neither Astralabio nor Moloney is defending it.

Jason Moloney preferred the WBO belt because he got more chances of winning and getting the vacant belt rather than competing against Nonito Donaire for the vacant WBC belt where his chances are not that strong. But still, this Vincent Astrolabio is not a push over either and I'm currently leaning on him to upset the current favorite.
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: May 08, 2023, 07:32:00 PM
these days, you have no problem watching it live if you know where to find free streaming services. and if not, just wait for the free uploads. seems that crypto bookies won't list this fight. not a big fight anyway.
such hotel venue is indeed an expensive one, so not for the masses. well, if the rich are willing to watch they can earn some money here. but casimero's name is waning down already. so he needs to win on this fight, else, his name will go down much deeper.

As always with a non-popular fight, odds are going to be released few days before the fight but rest assured that this will be covered by the bookies.

The tickets for the general admission for this fight is less that a hundred dollar and it's already sold out and last time I've heard that they added some tickets to cater to some fans that are eager to watch this fight. The venue could only accommodate a few hundred of people that's the reason why the general admission ticket is that high, though not too high but to ordinary Filipinos it's quite a lot of money.

^^ latest photo of Casimero I grabbed on his youtube channel and it seems he got no problem anymore making the scale.

Yes, it seems like we're right all along that Casimero shouldn't be having those issues again in this division. Though the difference is not that big at least that gave Casimero some leverage to be in his usual body weight and not so scraggy compared to what he have to endure back at 118 just to settle in with the weight but that didn't last long as it is already clear enough that the weight class is not for him anymore.

About the tickets, yes it's kind of expensive for normal people but talking about the venue where the fight will happen, it is also kind of reasonable enough because it is Okada Manila Hotel & Casino. Anyway, I sure do hope that there will be a live feed on this fight for free.
1329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 08, 2023, 07:14:21 PM
I agree we can not exclude the Lakers, that they will be beaten by the Golden State Warriors that easily there is a huge chance that this game will surely go until game 7 for sure both these teams are potential champions, and it is really unfortunate that they have faced each other in the Conference Semifinals they should both face each other in the Finals and yeah this is going to be until game 7 for sure,

I do not know if the Lakers or the Warriors are potential champions, but I know whoever wins this series will have a hard time whoever win in the series between Suns and Nuggets. Especially if the Nuggets win their series, Laker or Warriors will have a hard time to deal against a healthy Nuggets. Now that Jamal and Jokic are both healthy and on the floor, I think it is their time to win the Conference and finally get a chance for an NBA championship. They are consistent and have a really strong supporting cast. But I am getting ahead of myself.
Either if it's the Warriors and Lakers, they still stand a good chance in defeating the healthy Nuggets especially the non-consistent Suns. Sure they have Durant now but the rest of them are well known for their inconsistency when it comes to longer games, it's like that they can't keep up with the phase that they established themselves and end up choking. While the Nuggets, it will be a close series, but I think that the team who got more experience will be favorable.

Quote
Sure, if the Warriors can make the proper adjustment and force a win on the road in game 4, I expect this series to go all the way to game 7. But if they fail to win game 4, there is no going out on a 3-1 hole for them.
Only LeBron James got out of that hole and even Lebron himself doesn't want to be in the same situation again as it's too exhausting to win three straight games to avoid getting eliminated. Therefore, the Warriors needed to force a win in their game later if they don't want to be in that situation as a 3-1 standing has been a curse already.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't give you instant 100 percent profits on: May 08, 2023, 06:53:21 PM
I just draw out this post due to some post I have been reading across here and it annoys me seeing people or newbies always asking after a platform to give them $100 daily, $50 daily and so on without them even coming to think about how it works or not.
It's because these people are looking for hyip and ponzi schemes where they can deposit their cryptocurrencies for fast gains. Probably they have seen such propagandas on social medias or friends' groups, so they look for this kind of information on the forum as well. Since they are newbies, they aren't aware about the fact such schemes are scams where they lose money. What we can do is to educate them on this matter, telling them to not invest in opportunities which aren't realistic.

On the other hand, it will never stop, so get used to be annoyed, because there will be always newbies in crypto universe, and newbies always commit mistakes, believing in false promises of profit.

Ahh, classic ponzi schemes where they offer ridiculous amount of interest rates promised to be returned in a relatively short amount of time.

The only thing that is guaranteed and absolute in a ponzi-scheme is that they will almost and always pull out their money and leave all of the investors behind once they reach a certain amount of quota on their system. Yup, you may see your money increasing per day but 99.99% of the time these ponzi-schemes are scams designed to attract investors and steal all of the money away.

People who believe that BTC gives you 100% profits are either ignorant on the system or newbies who does not have any clue on how it works in the first place.

The sad thing about this is that even if some people already knew that they are about to invest their hard-earned money towards some specific Ponzi Scheme, they are still willing to take the huge risks in-exchange for the money they could be pulling is large enough (which is not really certain even if it's almost guaranteed) for them and besides, it's an easy money aside from the fact that it's overly a risky type of investment.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: May 07, 2023, 08:53:02 PM
I cannot blame people to have full confidence in Inoue because he earned it. He has too many achievements and he is a guaranteed first ballot in the Hall of Fame even at this current stage of his career. P4p #1, undisputed champion, 3 division champion and he became a champion in only his 6th pro fight.

True, he has beaten the best of the bantamweight division and unified all the belts. So he deserved all the accolades and probably this is one reason why he got a first shot moving up in super bantamweight against the champion.

Fulton on the other hand is very brave by traveling to Japan to defend his belts. Fulton has the size and skills. Fulton has a proven solid chin too after what we saw during the Figuroa fight. So I won't be surprised if Fulton will try to establish himself early as the aggressor to gain respect and not allow Inoue to just hunt him like prey.

Fulton says it doesn't matter as he believed in his talents and tools that he can beat Inoue whether in Japan or in the US. Yes, the fight with Figueroa was a back and forth fight and Brandon almost knock him down. But Fulton shows that he has a tougher chin that we have tought and it might be enough against the power of Inoue who is not yet tested on this division.

There might be no difference at all even if this fight is held somewhere in Japan because Fulton will still be Fulton being the champion while Inoue is still the same, fighting to attain belts or defend his belts. The main reason why Japan has been chose is because it is the best interest for both promoters and organizers as it's already a fact that their profits are already guaranteed because Inoue is indeed an attraction in Japan and lots of people will certainly watch his fight plus there are some foreign people as well who will watch the fight.

I am just saying something, a boxer will always do his job well, which is to fight anywhere, in Japan or anywhere on the globe, and if Inoue shows that he is better than Fulton, he will simply beat him, no matter how many titles he has, he will he will be able to win, whatever it is, so it has nothing to do with it, I see Inoue as a very complete fighter, it doesn't matter what category he is in now, the blows will hurt and weigh more, but for me Inoue is a boxing genius His technique is very good, I'm sure he won't stop Fulton from being the champion, he will see him as just another fighter.

A no biggy because he already had the same situation in the previous weight class where he started from the bottom up until he unified all four belts to be the undisputed champion at 118. But even though Inoue is strong and knows how to make some actual adjustments, no doubt, Inoue himself is having some doubts whether if how will this division treat him because after all, he's just new to this and even if the weight difference is not that big, it's still a different weight class meanwhile he will fight the boxer who is already accustomed to it, a 2-belt champion.

Those are the words of Inoue and I'm glad that he's not feeding his ego because of the status he attained, he still remained to be humble and try to figure out the things that he could face when the fight starts. Still, I'm positive enough that Inoue will do just fine and will be the one who will give another headline as I see him as a boxer who is set to make his name great.
1332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: May 07, 2023, 08:23:45 PM
For now, nothing yet as there's no update from both sides, same with the topic here regarding Thurman and Spence fight.
This seems cancelled although not yet clear. Greedy WBC is still reluctant to cancel this mandatory and strip Spence of his belt. What made it even worse is the WBC not issuing a deadline for both teams to make a deal so they can proceed in the last resort which is the purse bid.

Almost safe to consider that as they've been fooling the people that the fight is nearing to be established and they even said that they will announce it in April 22 but for some reasons, there's no update or whatsoever regarding the unification fight and both camps are silent about it. For the record, this is their 2nd negotiation and if this will fail which I think is they are almost there, then I don't think that this fight will materialize ever.

Both champions should just face the interim holders because their popularity is at risks if they continue to be this selfish, moreover, I think it's time too that the likes of Vergil Ortiz Jr. and Boots Ennis to have their most awaited chances. And regarding about that, I'm waiting for the IBF to make their own move because Boots Ennis already submitted his request towards the IBF to give Spence a mandatory defense fight. Hopefully IBF will not turn blind about this.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: May 07, 2023, 07:53:49 PM
As for the Haney vs Loma fight, the odds hasn't move a bit, Loma is still a 3:1 underdog.

As expected, Loma is still the big underdog here. Everyone is likely rooting for Haney to get an easy win because he is the younger and stronger fighter, so there should be no problem winning. However, I love surprises, so I want Loma to shock Haney and prove to him that he hasn't fought a technically skilled fighter as good as him.

Is 'shock' really the appropriate term? LOL. I think that word is used when one is not expected to win, and although Loma is quite the underdog here, he is capable of winning. Perhaps he will surprise the doubters, but the believers won't be shocked because they trust Loma to bring his A-game in the biggest fight of his career this year.

Perhaps it could be the right term, I mean beating a 3:1 underdog and then winning it, should be shocking right? the thing is that Loma is a live underdog that's why we thought that the odd is not that fair. Similar to Ryan Garcia who is also the same underdog odds with Tank, if he wins the fight will it be shocking? Of course yes, as bettors and handicappers thinks that he has a small chance of winning.

So we will see how this game will play out, will it be the underdog Loma here and then he become the undisputed or Haney continue on his winning streak and cementing his legacy.

Can't blame them if they listed Loma as slight 3:1 underdog because his past form wasn't seen in his recent fight against Jamaine Ortiz, I mean he was still flexible and hard to predict even after his lost against Teo where he fought two boxers, Nakatani and Commey, respectively but that was before his inactivity because of the Russian-Ukraine war where he had to sacrifice his career to help the troops defend Ukraine.

I sure do hope that we will still see the old Loma, so that he can give Haney a good fight and might dethrone him from being the undisputed champion in this division. But if not, I'm confident to say that it will be like a walk in the park Devin Haney.
Boxers are quite complimentary of themselves, but I can't deny that in this case they are underestimating Loma a lot, I don't have to Deny that Haney is one of the best I've Seen in action, but I also can't deny that Loma has a classic style , like from the old school and it is the same one that everyone wants to have in a fight, for me this is Something that will always be the best, but it is good that I know this type of fight, the good thing is that the bets will Always have an impact what we think about what we get right, that's why this is still relevant.

Nonetheless, both boxers will be an acid test to each other because this fight has been made for some reasons and not just to keep them warm and active all throughout the year. Loma will be acid test to Haney's status as the current undisputed boxer because this is his first proper title defense while Haney is also an acid test for Lomachenko to see if he still have the right skills to be the new undisputed champion because most people are not that convinced about his performance in his return. Obviously, that is not the Loma we've known.
1334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 07, 2023, 06:07:09 PM
Betting against the Warriors on the road seems to have been the wise choice all year long. Tonight the Lakers covered the spread with nearly 27 points on top of it. I don’t know what it is about the Warriors on the road but they’ll need to get it figured out. This wasn’t even a far trip for them as this and their last series was played entirely in California

That's true though, I really don't know what's with their mentality on the road, but at least they had to get 2 wins on the road in order to advance against Sacramento Kings, so it's just gotta be the same against Lakers, but Steve Kerr players lack intact brilliant communication in on some levels when there are certain player different combinations.
Steve Kerr should be worried and careful because he is the last man standing among the coaches who have won their respective franchise a ring in the last 5 years. Starting with Nick Nurse, Frank Vogel, and then recently, Mike Budenholzer has been fired.

As per rumor, it was said that Giannis Antetokounmpo played a major role in firing Mike and was backed by the management for failing to give adjustments and failed to call a much needed timeouts in Game 4 and Game 5.

Quote
I think they need to experiment a large roster of the players combination to be successful this season, Looney despite being very great for the warriors in this playoffs, he's been quite a liability with handling the ball and not offensive minded in any light, he becomes a loop hole when the teams decides to go small against warriors.
For which I think that's why Green should be in the hardwood frequently because he is much more experienced when it comes to games like these and Kevon Looney is still struggling to make some right adjustments but the catch is, Green certainly can't do Looney's rebounding skills and the Lakers were smart enough to target Green to maximize his fouls.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs John Ryder - May 6th in Mexico on: May 07, 2023, 05:24:35 PM
As expected Canelo wins convincingly but not by a knockout but by a unanimous decision Ryder proves to be a very tough customer, he came to fight not just to collect a paycheck, Canelo shows brilliancy but each time he has an opportunity to knock out Ryder, John Ryder shows excellent defense.
After this win, he has no option but to fight Benavidez or avenge his loss against Bivol he cannot have another kind of cherry-picked fight and ends up like this.

Canelo is still good in his defense and offense but it should be tested by tough fighters.

It was a dominant performance but I think a younger Canelo could've gotten the knockout. Canelo is not that old but he's been around a long time and is showing some signs of decline. I would not favor him to beat either Bivol or Benavidez.

Yes, Canelo started very young in his career, and as we can see, there could have been wear and tear already, with that hand injury of him could be the start although he is still very young.

And this fight is supposed to be a tune up fight for him and that's what it was. Although many figured he could win by a knockout by a game Ryder trying his best to stay at his feet and finished the fight with him.

A rematch at 175 lbs should happen next against Bivol. But if his version shows against Dmirty, it might be the same result a dominating win by him.

And this might be the start of Canelo's declination of his career because the way I see it there are only two things.

1. It's either Canelo is not that explosive because of his wrist injury that hinted some lack of power which is why he cannot close the fight with a KO after what happened in Round 5 or
2. it's just that John Ryder is resistant enough and could eat strong punches.

Either way, I'm not that convinced that Canelo can defeat Bivol this time or if he's going to face Benavidez, it might be risky for him knowing that Benavidez is much younger and also pack a lot of power. I know that Benavidez doesn't have good boxers on his record that is somehow on-par with Canelo but there is always a first time for everything.

Russell has started this game off on a tear. He made his first 3 3-point shots and 5 of his first 6 from the field to get the Lakers and early lead. They blew it though giving up a huge run to the Warriors at the end of the first. The rest of the Lakers are going to have to step it up if they want to stay in this game. Russell gave them a nice start.
The Lakers had a big start, but despite that, the Warriors were able to take an early lead. However, the Lakers came back and did not give the Warriors another chance to lead. It looks like Game 3 will be for the Lakers, as there's no way the Warriors will be able to come back from an 18-point deficit after the 3rd quarter.

Great game from Lakers, but can Jordan Poole get traded right away ? The guy is literally a trash can and every possession he get is a potential turnover and point off turnover for them Lakers, he's got zero defensive play!

It's going to be a win or burst game for 4 game imo, the momentum is in favor of the Lakers from my point of view and should the warriors lose game 4, I'll bet on the Lakers close out in 5.
Jordan Poole is an impatient and selfish shooter, but he gets hot every now and then. I still feel like Golden state wins game 4 though. Ad has a monster game 1, then a shit game 2. Now a monster game 3 and following the pattern a shit game 4 incoming.

^^ I also noticed his inconsistency where he usually have a bad night every after the night where he is totally dominating in the paint and guarding it like crazy to the point that almost nobody can penetrate through their rim plus there is James as well. I don't know if that pattern will really happen but there is a good chance actually because this started ever since in the first round where they battled against the Grizzlies. Let's see it next game.
1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: May 05, 2023, 09:20:16 PM
Today, investing in altcoins is not very promising, since the market is not stable and investing money until the market is stable is not very desirable and you can lose your savings. I think that it is worth waiting until the market stabilizes.it was possible to invest in 2017 and get a good profit from altcoins
actually there are many promising altcoins out there it just finding one can be quite difficult in general but just see optimism, arbitrum, and many more they are quite good for long term holding, moreover we haven't hit the altcoin season yet i'd say once altcoin season is here, many will increase significantly.

Yup, exactly! Those words that have said above are just example of a person who doesn't really know what to do in this types of situation where the market is being challenged heavily and FUD's are pouncing almost every week. But we must not forget that the market may not be stable as of now but sooner or later, as always, the storm will pass and it will again shed light to all of us who worked hard during the bear season and had the patience to hold and trust their chosen coins. What we have to do now is to choose carefully which coin will give us profits in the future and we should take advantage of the price because when the bull comes, these prices will not come cheap anymore.

2030 is being chased by Saudi Arabia, one of the main reasons why they got Ronaldo as well, they want Ronaldo to basically talk about how it would be great to host it. When you consider how much money nations can make from world cup, billions and billions of dollars, if paying Ronaldo 200-300 million to get it, then it would be totally worth it. They are in fact considering about a lot more people, Messi, Mourinho and all that which would be a great deal and definitely could be considered a great idea.

I understand that it will not be cheap and they may lose, but they are going to end up trying at least. Would it be too bad? I am not so sure, but I bet 100% that there are better nations suited for something like that without a doubt. I miss England hosting it, that would be lovely to see again.
Personally I think that this experiment by FIFA of trying to bring the World Cup to as many nations as possible was in a way successful, but it should be over already, we need to go back to the roots and let some of the traditional countries which are superpowers in the world of soccer to host the World Cup again, I would like to see England, Argentina, Italy and other similar powerful countries which have a very high passion for the sport hosting the World Cup again, and once that happens then FIFA can start their experiment again if they want.

Not an experimental term but I think FIFA is giving the other countries in other parts of the world a chance to host World Cup so that they will also have a first hand experience about it. As per rumor, Saudi Arabia joined with Greece and Egypt to host the 2030 World Cup but there are other countries as well that joined forces and that would love to have their chance to host, and possibly they got more chances to host the 2030 World Cup namely Morocco-Portugal-Spain.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: May 05, 2023, 07:24:59 PM

The co-main event has been announced. I’m not surprised that Amana Serrano will be fighting on it, I really think this will be a major mismatch.

Serrano beat Hardy really easily 4 years ago so she’s most likely going to be a big favourite here.

So, that means that this bout is almost unstoppable already because the co-event and even the undercards are already set despite Nate Diaz's current predicament and maybe he already made peace with the opposite camp (the man which Nate choked), and gave some reasonable amount of money so that the issue will not be brought to the court as that will put this bout in vain due to the court hearings.
1340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: May 05, 2023, 06:59:58 PM
I honestly see nothing really great about Ryan Garcia. He is good but not great and I do not even think he will ever become a world champion. Or maybe he can upset a champion or win a vacant belt because he is gifted with power but most likely he is not holding a world title for long. There's a huge difference between Garcia and the prospect days of Teofimo Lopez, Adrien Broner, etc.

Let's just give him some time for now because after all, he is still young and definitely have some room to improve if he is that actually serious to be one of the greats one day. He already got the talent to bring any boxer down as long as he can touch it with somebody else's temple but that talent is not well taken care of and that's what he should do. For now, this loss he just experienced will wake him up and reflect on his actions, so that next time, he knows what to do.

Perhaps if he will just know how to protect or have good defense though, he could be an elite boxer. But he doesn't have that and the movement, still very amateurish that's why when he faces a great boxer like Gervonta Davis, he was really exposed and then others says that Ryan just quit and doesn't want to go and fight. He could have like the mentality of Amir Khan, than when he knows that he is going to lose the fight, he just take a dive and quit. So if he can fight a coach that can improved his lateral movements and cover his face and body more, then maybe he can recover from his lost.

All of that might be found on his new journey and as of now, it's already rumored that he already have another one to coach him but I don't think he will be given enough time because that same coach is also the coaches of Anthony Joshua, Charlo and Errol Spence. But I have no doubts that he can a learn a thing or two in this new coach because he also trained numerous champions already.
