Who else is looking at the way those ask orders are stacked, especially the ones after .00250, and thinking, hmmmm?

Tactics yes, but not sure its trading tactics.
2122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 14, 2013, 01:12:21 PM
I am still trying to figure out what the heck happened on July 5-6 that would cause this so called 'trend reversal'.  I have come up with bubkis as it seems so arbitrary.  I would have expected it to touch closer to 50s first and then slowly increase, not a shot right to 100. WTF man WTF

Could be this? I don't know what to think.

Max has said this before in April. But this was out around the same time as Max's tweet above, which takes some important hurdles of doubt away......

Just been fiddling with the googlesheet.....BASIC MINING @ 0.7 performs magic on the NAV!

Yesterday taught me just *how* pathetic my attempts at reading the Bitcoin market are, and *how* irrelevant both TA & common sense are to this market.
Trying a new strategy today.  Got me some black candles burning on both sides of the monitor, crayons for drawing pentagrams & magikal symbolz, got The Lord's Prayer queued up to loop backwards in Pro Tools.  As soon as my cat learns to arch his back & hiss at the chart, i'll be set for a new day of trading Angry

Used to listen to a futures trading chat room/radio show many years ago. The host would present a spoof interview with 'Tony Tides',  which was an in-joke with regular listeners. The newbies where genuinely taken-in by this mysterious Tony who could read the motion of the tides and predict the days market movements!
2125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is UK so slow to jump on this? on: July 10, 2013, 04:45:13 PM
UK has already widely acepted Bitcoin what you talkin about?

Can you explain how it is widely accepted?

I am also interested in finding out news of any UK exchanges? Ive been following coindesk now since they first started up and theyr great for up to date news, but im still buying my bitcoins through 'local bitcoins' or 'bittylicious' which is not ideal?

Anyone else get them from anywhere better?

A fully functioning UK exchange is not far away now.

There are a few UK based buyers/sellers on these boards Vinnigar, but do your homework, obviously. Alternatively, are there any Bitcoin MeetUps happening near you?

We have sold our first Fast-Hash-One machines.

Did you hear that, people protecting that wall? There is confidence out there. Maybe time to re-evaluate confidence within, possibly.

Wow... with about 24 hours left in the current motion vote, only 64 out of 230 votes have been counted.

Obviously I have let down the shareholders in communication somewhere.

I need your help. How can I reach more shareholder so that they know they can vote? I am not particularly fond of the "news" feature that btct.co has. Some asset managers like to spam with it. Besides, the motion itself sent an email to all shareholders (or it should have). Did you receive it the motion email?

What else could I have done to get more share holders to vote?

You could have communicated it on Bitfunder, maybe. Or present a dummys guide on how to vote, possibly.

Bitstamp have changed the names on their bank accounts now. Incoming SEPA's now show as "BITSTAMP LIMITED" instead of "BITSTAMP (insert slovenian here)"...makes bank statements look much neater.

Where do i buy shares in Bitstamp?!

2136  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] BTCINVEST - Low risk investment fund | Market cap: 1435 BTC on: July 02, 2013, 07:50:32 PM
I think these were around 0.28 just before the last report came out and on that report AM's were 3.15, so we can we expect to see around 0.35 to 0.36 by Sunday?  Also, will the BTCINVEST dividend include this week's as well as last week's AM dividend?
I'm a noob with not much capital so can't really afford many shares, but I'm thinking of purchasing some of those call options, or is that a bad idea?

You would be betting a big buyer taking out that 200@0.399, for you to see break-even/profit within the time window of the first few. Worth keeping an eye on it though.

2138  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: July 02, 2013, 01:29:10 PM
The general feeling I am getting is that most people including myself are getting past the "AMC might be a scam" point to more of a "The way Kenneth Slaughter has set these 2 companies up is not optimal for the shareholder" viewpoint.

Few (paid) shills and dozen of really dumb investors got the lead but that does not mean scam is scam no more. I'm losing interest in helping a lot
of stupid people not got skinned here. How easily most can be persuaded into beliving anything and switch sides is disturbing. You people still have
no clue even who is Ken but it takes not much more than him posting "I'm not scammer" for you to belive it.

Sweet dreams!

Damn, I was beginning to worry! Where have you been??? Grin Grin Grin

I officially nominate Bitcoin Megastore as the hardest working person in show business.  Move over James Brown.  Look at the posting times.  That guy only needs 5 hours of sleep a day, the rest of the time he is hard at work.

You beat me to it. The ironic thing is, a history like that can only be because of 'paid' interest, surely? Or the alternative 'disturbing' thing is, it has echoes of the rpietila saga. I think he believed he was helping stupid people as well.

Scary what Bitcoin does to people eh?  Lips sealed
2139  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: July 01, 2013, 07:04:44 PM
How about we apply to get MegaMouth a day pass and if it gets granted, we send him on a day trip.

His unbiased view could be just what we need to find out if Ken is legitimate.  Cheesy
