2121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC / BTB Exchange Google Docs #1 on: May 04, 2013, 12:24:08 AM
Also, another question to the google docs experts here, can I set people who are authorized to edit the spreadsheet? This way buy/sell orders can also be added when I am offline, people in different timezones mainly would be great.
2122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC / BTB Exchange Google Docs #1 on: May 04, 2013, 12:19:45 AM
Make each column be a diff thing.. Such as one column for name, one for amount, one for rate..

That would be usefull I suppose, I'm not really that god with google docs though, I've searched but how to split a cell?
2123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC / BTB Exchange Google Docs #1 on: May 04, 2013, 12:18:31 AM
please could you add  0.95 BitBar for 4 BTC

thanks

Wait, so you're selling 1 for 2BTC and 0.95 for 4? Er, okay. You want me to add it, or replace it over the old one?

sorry for the confusion, 2 sell orders, 1 for 2.5 BTC and 0.95 for 4 BTC

thanks

Alright, added!

2129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitbar will you give me for 0.5 BTC? Offer now! on: May 03, 2013, 10:46:12 PM
Boelens care to say publicly what do you think? Smiley To me its clear you made offer of 0.5 btc for max amount of bitbars (auction running till 9.30 PM) GMT.

Certainly. Basically what I think, is that I find 0.1 bitbar simply too low, and I have the right to cancel this auction and deny his offer.

We NVDcoin! Optimised for Nvidia! Maybe by using floating point calculations instead of integer?

-MarkM-

That would actually be a good idea, I wonder how hard it'd be to use floating point calcs instead of integer though.

Heya,
I was wondering, with the rush of useless alt coins, is there still anything innovative we could do for a new coin? I would be very interested in making a coin, but I'm not going to make a LTC clone, change the difficulty and rename it, I was wondering, can we still do anything innovative, or is LTC the only alt coin we need?
make a direct democracy coin. that will solve the problem bitcoin has with the bitcoin foundation. every user of the coin gets 1 vote and every decision about the coin gets voted on by every user. any user can propose a change and if a certain percent of users support it then it will be approved for a vote. you can call it direct democracy coin or DDC. it will be the worlds first truly decentralized coin without a central governing body controlling it in secret making back room deals behind closed doors, called the bitcoin foundation.

What would there to vote about?
how commits will be made to the source code. whether we will pay someone to build infrastructure and work on programming for the coin. if so then how he will be paid, through donations or a tax or something similar. if not then i guess it will only be done by people willing to work on it for free. there are lots of things to decide. many brains working together is much better than one and people will feel passionate about it because they can directly effect it. they will feel it is theirs. this will make them work much harder for it and put their heart and soul into it.

not to mention it will do something good for the world unlike scamcoins.

It's an okay idea I guess, it could work in terms of that it will make it theirs. I wonder what a good name would be. 'MURICOIN

2138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlooCoin - Python based coin on: May 03, 2013, 07:25:37 PM
Broken downloads, no Win gui wallet, from a hacker forum, requires older python installer. Yeah this seems like a winner.. ha ha ha

What exactly could it do? I scanned and I've gotten nothign, but can it have stolen anything Bitcoin related or other passwords?
2139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BlooCoin - Python based coin on: May 03, 2013, 07:24:01 PM
This coin was created by a user at HackForums.  I would be especially careful of this one.

Just started mining it, aaand stopping.
