I'm pretty sure this was not meant to be, so this is a bug report.

If you raise your limit twice in a 48 hour period, it is not raised to what it was set the first time, I think this might be because setting it the second time resets a 48 hour timer or something. Basically, I raised my limit to 0.5, then about 12 hours later, raised it again to 1.0

So now, it's 48 hours after the first time I raised it to 0.5, but my limit isn't reflecting the increase. I suppose that it will raise to 1.0 when it becomes 48 hours after the second increase to 1.0

So its been around 49 hours since my last limit raise, and its not reflecting that yet. What's up? Please make your site more dependable
Previously, the limit calculation was operating on date blocks, which now has been updated to hour blocks.

I've sent you 0.05 BTC for the bug report. Thanks!

When willl the site be fixed?
EDIT: As in, balance not loading, transactions not showing, not able to navigate any tab.

So, the first match will be a Minecraft one. QUESTIONS.

How many players would you guys find preferable?
What timezone is most friendly for all? What time is most friendly?
Brackets and then one on one till the finals, or a massive FFA (the risk of this is teams)

Great. When would you have this ready by? I'll tip ya BTC0.25 if we can have a match tonight Cheesy

o.o

That would be a very short-notice and unorganized and unofficial match. I can't buy hosting + domain, set a site up and host a game before tonight =P The tip is nice but that's near to impossible. (Note: It's 11PM here, I stay up late, but even then, I can't find people to play with and buy-in this quickly.) Also, the first match would probably be Minecraft, not a FPS.

This guy is a gambling genius.

He went from 0 to 5000 BTC? How the hell?

Yeah I was an admin on BitcoinTerror and it was a really fun project Smiley

The main problem was aimbots, which were extremely easily obtainable for the game they used.

I know we could develop a similar thing for CS:S because it has excellent plugin compatability. Something truly awesome though, would be to develop this for BF2, the best FPS ever in my opinion!

Edit: I just reached out to the developer to see if he'd be interest in creating this Smiley

If you think you have the know-how to make this happen, I will be happy to bring funding to the project, rent a server, domain etc.

I can do most of it myself, such as small needed plugins, site, etc. And no, I won't request funding. I'll use my own money, if this goes wrong, I don't want to have wasted anyone's time and money. Thanks for all the positive answers from everyone =). And yeah, aimbots are a problem. For the first MC tournament I'm probably going to use 1.5.2 and good anti-cheat protection.

This is a cool, and even tried before

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=88169.0

but I guess it wasn't worth it. If you can include many games, and like poker tournaments have like a free roll feature, I can see it being big.

Yeah, it's like bitterror, it has so much potential, with the right supervision and anti-cheat it can go well.

Build it.. and they will come.

What do you mean by this?
It's an old quote meaning "if you have a product/service/location, people will come and participate in it".

Ah, I see. Guess I'll try it out then! Not sure what game I'd do first.

So, the general opinion is positive?

You don't need Bitcoins for this. Just code the site with some random "points" and add Bitcoins later.

Normal tournaments already exist, the point in this is that you play for BTC.
1294  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [IDEA] Would like feedback. on: July 20, 2013, 04:55:06 PM
I think it'd be nice is there was stuff other than 1v1. I think some sort of team deathmatch/last man standing could work.

Hm, alright. This could possibly be voted on / depend per game. But how would team deathmatch work? would there just be a pot, winning team gets the pot and it gets divided on all players?

1296  Economy / Goods / Re: *Send me waves on steam (2.5$) and I'll send you BTC* on: July 20, 2013, 03:49:43 PM
I'll do it. Add me, Boelens.
EDIT: Added you.

Hey there!
So someone suggested this idea to me a bit ago, and I thought I could do it, and it'd be a pretty damn good idea. The idea is basically a site where you have tournaments, yuo can buy-in, say there's a buy-in for 0.01BTC,16 people join so the pot is 0.16BTC. Then there will be a tournament (just 1 on 1 with brackets), and the winner gets the pot of 0.16BTC. This could be in CSS,CS 1.6,Minecraft,any game where's interest. I was wondering, is this a good idea? Would you play it? Please reply/vote, thanks! (max of 3 votes per person on the poll)

Nice. Is there a list of these faucets? I want to get some in my inputs.io account without sending it there. Just to see how it works.

There's :
http://faucet.domesticpineapple.com
http://faucet.devinthedev.com

And another one I'm forgetting.

I may have found a minor bug, my notepad says it exceeded the maximum characters, I have nothing there.
