Congratulations to all Round 1 winners!
Does anyone know confirmed Cup Round 2 scheduling?
I tried searching in this topic but I couldnt find anything except brackets from CLS63 that are not accurate.
I don't know who my opponent is but I did miserable in my fun answers from Round 1, and I am hoping for better results  Grin
2142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League 2022/2023 on: April 06, 2023, 10:53:29 AM
EFL Championship Round 40 is starting tomorrow and all matches are played in Friday so better plan to make your bets on time.
We are entering final stages of regular season and fight for promotion and relegation is very interesting.

Sheffield United vs Wigan
Sheffield has a big chance to create more distance from other teams and secure direct promotion to Premier League, so they need points here.
Odds are not great on them and they are missing some players, but they have good results in H2H matches with Wigan and I think they can win again.
When Sheffield wins they usually win first half and that pays much better and I am taking that.
My Bets: Sheffield win; Sheffield win 1st half.

Millwall vs Luton
Luton is in amazing form now and they taken fourth place in league, just above Millwall, and they lost only one time in last 14 matches, against Burnley.
Millwall is big surprise for me this season, they have chance for Premier league promotions with playoff, and I know them for having many draw results in history.
I think we can see draw in this match but I am giving small advantage to Luton and trying double chance bet.
My Bets: X2 double chance; Luton (0) AH
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/england/championship/millwall-fc-v-luton-town-641afbfce8377c51183ed7d2

Middlesbrough vs Burnley
Big match is played in Riverside Stadium with third place Middlesbrough waiting for league leader Burnley.
Burnley is guaranteed playoff spot but they are not confirmed to go directly in Premier League and win title.
Both teams have best attacks in league so I am expecting to see both teams scoring.
I am not sure who will win, but I support Middlesbrough
My Bet: Both Teams To Score.

2143  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: April 06, 2023, 10:25:41 AM
I want Arsenal to win the league, it’s all in their hands so it’s up to them. Will probably cone down to the game at The Etihad.
I am also with you supporting Arsenal to win title this season.
Match with Man City could decide the league winner but they are facing more good teams in next rounds after Liverpool,  it is West Ham, Southampton, Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton, Nottingham and Wolves.
There is maximum of 27 points left for Arsenal and they could have hard time with Newcastle, Brighton and Chelsea, but I think they can do it.
Main advantage for Man City is amazing season for their best striker Haaland, but they have to think about Champions League and FA Cup.

Hahaha yes man its my market, but i still need to pullish things before i can share. The main problem to share its only can be shared on something like a telegram channel because i bet normally in live.
Live betting is great, I won few times like that but never on corners like you  Grin
Do you have telegram channel or maybe you can write live predictions in Sportsbet chat?
2144  Other / Archival / Re: Sinbad.io Mixer - secure, fast and easy to use on: April 06, 2023, 09:39:09 AM
I give them credit for this but since we all see it as a campaign promotion overload then idea is off the table Smiley
I can give review about Sinbad website for free right now, I think they can do some work on improving design of their website, but it's more important that everything works fine with mixing coins.

I've done several reviews, and I usually mention the bad stuff. There's no point in mentioning the good stuff, so I mention what I think can be improved. I've had positive responses to this approach.
I even think it's more important to point out bad things in some service so they can improve and change some things.
Lying someone that everything is perfect for any service is counterproductive and misleading.
Maybe people think they will get paid more for saying only nice things  Grin
2145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: April 05, 2023, 03:34:00 PM
Did you also notice, that after people are released from UFC (but they are still active fighters), their career flies down ?
This is not true and I can give you few examples, Segio Pettis is a good MMA example, Cris Cyborg is doing great in Bellator and boxing,
Ryan Bader is great in Bellator as Heavyweight champion, Liz Carmouche is Flyweight champion in Bellator.
Francis Ngannou is just getting started.

Like UFC drinks all the juiced from them. I have never seen any (at least cant remember quickly) anyone who used to be good in UFC, and continued to be good in other promotion (of course if we talk about fighting decent opponent, not newbies or opponents with deep negative records).
If you didn't see it that doesn't mean it is not happening all the time.
2146  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: April 05, 2023, 02:55:52 PM
Well i share with all this beautifull win i have today  Grin
Again corners winning bet?
You are becoming master for this, please share some predictions in public before making a bet next time.

It was very nice for me betting in Sportsbet yesterday, I had Aston Villa single to win against Leicester, like I said I will play.
Tottenham screwed me when in last seconds they conceded goals against Everton, and I had them combined with Villa so I would win much more.

Two interesting matches today Man United vs Brentford and West Ham vs Newcastle.
Brentford destroyed Manchester last year they played and I think they can perform one more miracle, so I might risk Bretnford (+1) asian han handicap bet.
For second match I think Newcastle will win but I am not excluding a draw, so maybe Newcastle draw no bet.

The idea of doing reviews is not a bad one. But I think whenever someone receives money to do a review, it can always give the idea that they are being biased.
People can do whatever they want but I will never write a review that something is good just to receive financial reward.
Some people know that I refused to do some things in forum just to receive bitcoin payment.

I was just thinking,  is it possible to have some kind of review campaign of Sinbad to see if users on the forum can or know how to use a mixer ? I know the idea isn't entirely new as other competitors might have adopted this idea already but just so have some kind of appraisal of how easy is it to use the platform will be a great playform for feedback and any possible adjustments to the service...
Don't you think Sinbad is doing more than enough promotions in forum already? Smiley
Sinbad mixer works very simple and there are instructions written on their website, it's not hard to use it at all.
They have one of highest paid signature campaign and I saw them in Gambling games and rounds making prediction challenges for Bitcoin price each month since January.
I participated in most of them and I am still waiting to win reward, maybe it will happen in this April Challenge! Wink

2149  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I think it's time to leave Binance, any alternatives? on: April 05, 2023, 02:21:29 PM
So, my question is, if Binance goes down, which centralized bitcoin exchange are you going to use? Personally, I think that Coinbase will become more popular because it's number two exchange by popularity at the moment and what makes it more attractive compared to Binance is that it's the San Francisco-based company, has been in business since 2012.
It all depends what country you live in and what are their crypto regulation laws.
I dont think Binance will stop working but if it happens people can switch to next exchange with biggest volume, Coinbase, Kraken, Kucoin and others.
There are more exchanges with lower volume that work fine but they can all be under attack of governments.
Maybe all this is not such a bad thing, we should have more developers working on improving decentralized exchanges that are safer.
2150  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin Mining Pool distribution monthly reports on: April 05, 2023, 01:59:46 PM
But that has nothing to do with hashrate distribution between pools unless you think that the government is using public mining pools and even worse, spreading their hashrate between more than one pool, your concern is valid but not related to the subject, you are talking about 2 pools having 56% of the total hashrate, those two pools need to work together, run the same code and plan for the same attack, so this brings us back to the original "assumption", what does Bitmain get from screwing with BTC when everything Bitmain related depends on BTC?
I don't know exactly what governments are doing but I know they are concerned about Bitcoin and they dont fit Bitcoin mining in their green agenda.
They cant stop mining, they can only try to ban it like China did, but look what happened with that, many miners migrated to other countries.
Making global bitcoin ban is possible to happen but I think chances are low, so they can only attack from inside.

If an entity is trying to perform an attack with no financial incentive then they would more likely use their own "unknown" pool, the fact that the largest pools are public pools suggests that only said pools can perform the attack, and thus, they would need a financial incentive.
There are other type of incentives, not just financial.
Someone can have incentive to eliminate things that mess with their plans.

No Govt has unlimited funds to attack bitcoin, maybe it was possible many years ago, but no longer possible.
Bitcoin is too large, and too well spread out around the world.
I wouldn't say this is impossible to happen, and Bitcoin have some weak points.
They literally have money printing machine, and they can bring entire financial system down that is much larger than bitcoin.

Everybody is competing. No break for you so better send your answers.

You are free in R1 but you will have a match in R2 same as all Div 1 & Div 2 players. That means you still have deadline tomorrow, but you have a free pass on first 5 questions. You must answer the rest before the deadline.
Guys you are complicating things so much and confusing us all with your trickery Grin
I sent all my questions but I am sure that I was not the only one who thought there is a break for some players.
Positive feedback is that Cup question answering was not that hard like it happens in BSFL sometimes.
Good luck everyone.

2153  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io - Holding my funds (342 mBTC) on: April 04, 2023, 06:36:03 PM
I am looking for some lead where can I go from here. Since none of my emails are being replied to.
@madman123 I saw Steve from Sportsbet recently posted something about new wave of members abusing their website so they had to make some modification with account verification and withdrawals, maybe you got caught is the middle.
My suggestion is to contact Steve in forum and explain your situation, and if you are honest user everything will be fixed soon.
Update us with your situation change when you receive more news about your case.
2154  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin Mining Pool distribution monthly reports on: April 04, 2023, 06:27:06 PM
It depends on how you actually look at it, this is not the first time where two entities alone have more than 50% of the total hasharate, a few years ago Bitmain as an entity (antpool, btc.com and Viabtc) had 30-35% and along with Binance or f2pool they had more than half the total hashrate, so pretty similar to what is happening now, in fact it was even worse since those pools operated in the same country.
It's not the first time for two mining pools have over 50% but it never happened for two of them to have over 56% like it is now.
Few percent is a big number that makes a difference for someone who wants to perform some kind of attack on Bitcoin, even if they are in different locations.
I would like much more to have three or more pools sharing around 50% of hashrate.

Clearly not the highest however ...
I said it was highest number since I am following mining pools in this topic, that started from end of July 2020.
We always criticized altcoins for having centralized mining pools, so I dont see why we cant do the same thing for Bitcoin.

It should also be pointed out that Foundry is not a pool per-se. They mine strictly for themselves and smaller farms that buy gear from them and have it hosted by Foundry. My guess is that the hosted farms are splitting the blocks w/Foundry so in one sense it *is* a pool. Just a huge private one...
I know it's not a single guy or company who is controlling all this hash power but it is still sort of centralization of mining power.

Indeed, there is no incentives for any pool or large miners to screw with BTC, the rewards will be a lot less than the risk taken but any one of those entities since those have so much at stake, however, there is valid concern in terms of the "law", so mining pools that operate whiting the same country could be "forced"to do some stupid things just to obey the laws and regulation.
This is assumption, someone could perform attack even if there is no financial incentive, if they have unlimited funds and printing machine like governments.
2155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 04, 2023, 06:16:22 PM
Pereira is not a very likable character since he doesn't smile a lot but I can say he put all his strength to be great in this sport. He is from a very poor beginning though, same as those who started from scratch. I would be happy for him to become successful too.
That is not important at all, Mike Tyson was not a likeable character, he didn't smile much and he dominated boxing for years.
My prediction is that Pereira probably winning on points, unless Adesanya make huge surprise with his fighting style and dominates more with wrestling.
I think both of them are good in stand up, Adesanya is faster, Pereira is stronger, but all other skills outside kickboxing is advantage for Adesanya.

Dana White and the UFC went thru the hoops to get and support McGregor in his foray into boxing.  But the thing is if the UFC fighter lost in a boxing match it diminishes the UFC fighter's stock and in a way it also diminishes the UFC as a brand.  So after McGregor vs Mayweather, the UFC isn't having more boxing matches involving fighters from their roster.
I don't think it affects UFC at all, but they can't control money and take most of the earnings like they are doing in their competition.
Let me predict that is McGregor makes another boxing fight UFC will allow him to do it, but other fighters wont be allowed to do that.
2156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: April 04, 2023, 06:06:59 PM
He is still in PFL roster. Havent found that he is a free agent again. PFL contracts turns to be more flexible than UFC Cheesy
I like how PFL is handling business, they give more freedom and tournaments competition is great.
Contracts in UFC can also be flexible but only for Conor McGregor, for everyone ekes it is restricted area   Cheesy
Anthony Pettis didnt have the very good results in PFL, since he came from UFC he lost four fights and won only one in PFL, so he had to try something different.
His younger brother Segio Pettis is doing much better in Bellator, after moving away from UFC he made four wins and his next fight should be against Patricio Pitbull.

PL games tonight, what do you think guys?
Aston Villa win against Leicester looks to me like a very good bet, they are in great form and Leicester is missing some players for this match.
I know Leicester is desperate to get some points for survival race, but I just can't resist this odds on Villa.
For someone who want to play safer double chance X2 would be a good idea.

I honestly have no idea what to say for Chelsea vs  Liverpool, I am leaning more towards home win but I am not excluding draw result.

Rumors are that Potter is the most expensive coach right now as he is about to get 15 mil $ for his departure with Chelsea  Shocked..crazy!
This could have positive effect on Chelsea squad, because atmosphere there is now described as toxic. Smiley

I see we have Cup questions this time so I am taking a break from answering questions this time.
Good luck everyone who is competing today.

Close round and I got my GD back to 0, I probably need to reassess how I answer Liverpool questions, always seems to be my Kryptonite, scored 0 points last round and somehow managed to win this one with only 3...
I see you are fifth place in Division 1 and I am fifth place in Division 2, but you have much more chances to go up.
I swear some of this guys from my division are expert freaks, and I don't know how they keep winning and cant lose Sad

Schedule:
3-9.4. - cup (R1 and R2)
10-16.4. - league
17-23.4. - league
24-30.4. - cup (R3, QF)
1-7.5. - league
8-14.5. - league
15-21.5. - cup (SF, Final)
22-28.5. - league

Can someone confirm if this schedule is correct?
Thanks.

Anyone watched Gamebred Boxing 4 April 1 ? This topic might not be appropriate place to post, but most of the card was filled by formed MMA/UFC fighters Cheesy
No, I totally missed this event and I never heard any news about that.
I was thinking Anthony Pettis is still under contract with PFL, but maybe they are allowing lose roles and boxing fights
For Joes Aldo I heard that he was interested in boxing and he was always good at that, but my boxing favorites are heavyweights like Fury.

Here are an upcoming match this coming Friday, well, it is kind of not that striking but here it is
Nice warmup for big UFC event his weekend.
I am not that much interested in main event but I really want to watch Bruno Cappelozza vs Matheus Scheffel.
I think Ante Delija is still on poster you posted but he withdrew his participation from this event and Denis Goltsov is his replacement.

Very very cool pictures!
Congratulations again, I won free bets in that same competition but it's very hard to beat you  Cheesy

BEERS WITH STEVE can happen anywhere at anytime!
Steve I think you should write a book about your travels, maybe call it Adventures of Sportsbet Steve.
I am not saying it's going to be bestseller like Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, but you never know  Grin

Anyone fancy betting on Tottenham tonight against Everton?
I made a combo bet and I had to include them in my ticket, despite them missing some players I think they are miles better than Everton this season.
Don't forget that more Premier League matches are played tomorrow, it's going to be interesting to watch Chelsea vs Liverpool.
