...
Last point : some EU stamps are still available u said.
I just see a market disfunction there and a great opportunity to buy more as a long term investor (good example is postereum V4. No hype so i was able to secure a lot of them (time consuming process) and was lucky enough to get the #000001 and #001500 (ie first and last ex of a  1500 pure digital edition))
Not in a hurry, let see in a (couple of?) decades what the price will be.

There are also some UAE stamps stilll available. Same for malaysian one  and so on. Is this really such a bad deal?

potentially true...
but for those who have been collecting stamps for (xx) many years Roll Eyes , they know very well that the philatelic market (in general) is no longer what we saw in the past.

it is probable that even crypto-themed issues will be able to maintain a certain interest but at the same time (considering the purchase cost)
I believe that some issues will not have a substantial premium as instead seen with other issues.

As you mentioned UAE are still available, but these stamps have very low mintage.... Roll Eyes

Bitcointalk nick: bitbollo
Bitcoin address: bc1q33tc9q86ham6qrwg8pev4t2jrnu0j4dayz7nkn
preferred group: Group A and Group B.

Deposit/withdrawal:

I made a deposit of 30USD as agreed and bonus has been credited immediately.

Easy process, and it’s nice an email has been sent after deposit made.
I am curious...

Where it could be possible find “bonus codes” for deposit?

General Experience:
in general, it is positive experience.
I've noticed some games tell me I don't have enough for a particular installment but I actually have enough, ok, I think it should be clarified that some games can't be played during bonus wagering.
I admit that I don't understand how wagering works. Roll Eyes Grin
Example, if I have to wager 40x (total 50 mbtc) and I play 0.05 mbtc 1000 times… why don't I reach the wagering requirements?

Customer support:
Really positive. I asked a question and within 5 minutes I had an answer.

What I liked:
There is a wide range of "classic" casino games. Very easy to be used. Quick support.

What I did not like:
Remove the "choose your currency" at the start of the game.
For those who change game very often, they must always confirm the type of coin.

I tested the following: (slots/live casino/table games/CS originals)
Game 1 review: Dice CS originals
Classic dice game, fun, very easy to play and intuitive.
Game 2 review: American Blackjack
Fast, smooth, really nice to play blackjack like that.
Game 3 review. Plinko

Nice as usual, plink game is funny game, but really slow game Sad and I am surprised there are not options for “quick bets” or “multiple bets” in a row.

Any chance that this was just a fat finger mistake?

The comments on the importance of the total amount related to total wealth are on point
For a billionaire 1 million is just 1% of total wealth and an amount they can totally afford to lose in a bad bet

no it seems this was not a fat finger but just some one that tried to get an high reward with minimum effort.
that's why the news has been reported "publicly".

please note, for a billionaire 1% is not 1 million but 10 million.
for sure they can afford a loss like this, but I don't think that billionaires like to trash money Wink
of course there are no details if it was a billionaire or just "an average joe".

it's interesting that less than two months left and the next halving will come!
the reward per block will drop to 25 bgl.
it is interesting to see how the market will react to this news, but above all the real news the real game changer will be, (as we have repeated several times Roll Eyes ) , is the chance of having a new cex exchange for this coin.

have you verified if it possible to open directly a "multicurrency account" with a bank?
this will allow you to withdraw ANY fiat currency you want...

but in any case, since this is a small amount (it's around 10 euro) I will try directly to exchange with an user like you did the previous time...
2151  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's your favorite sportsbook and why? on: February 22, 2023, 10:19:58 AM
My favorite bookmakers is betfair, because it's one of the only place where I can bet directly against other people and "create" even my bet/odd. I know there are other "exchange" betting sites but they don't have the same wide offer of bets / enough liquidity on the market.

Regarding crypto bookmakers, my favorite is stake.com, followed by sportsbet.io and betnomi.
2152  Economy / Gambling / Re: Diamond 5 Stake, account was hacked on: February 21, 2023, 10:23:52 PM
It says when the acct was created. I’m at peace w the mistake but there is definitely responsibility both ways especially when they were warned for a month about several scams being targeted etc. tbh if someone can help me at least disrupt anything to do with the coins I would sleep a lot better. I failed stake for sure by clicking but they absolutely failed me as well by not listening or caring about all the warnings. Tipping some new acct 165k within 2 minutes is absurd. They handle very very big clients which means very very big money. Gotta be more secure than to let an eternal theft occur.
for what I can see ( and I know) you can just access to DATE of when an account has been created and not the time.

btw...
if you think they have some deficiency on some part of the process or they are "guilty", you need to talk with a lawyer imho. for sure, if they have implemented some new solutions.... they have taken serious your complaint.

as I have suggested before

2153  Economy / Gambling / Re: Diamond 5 Stake, account was hacked on: February 21, 2023, 09:42:40 PM
the point is not that i am not taking responsibility for clicking a link and i know how stake works and their bonuses work. The point is i asked to change my username after dozens of extortion attempts both on and offline and doxxing and we denied, now they are eager to do it. Also tipping 165k to a brand new account, which by the way is not something i have ever done, 14 minutes exactly since my 2fa was stripped is not proper security. They changed their protocol today and it should have been tighter from the begining. Keep in mind they had no information to make an actual withdrawl from my account or i would not be complaining this was all done because the internal security didn't exist. This is after the email leak a few months ago and countless phishing attacks on all of its users over and over. So opinions are welcome and it's my burden to lose that money but a company accepting millions of dollars from me every month or so should have some kind of security to not allow someone to drain my entire account in a tip to a new account that was made five minutes earlier with no history and also this to occur 14 minutes after my 2fa stripped. That was my gripe but now I am focused on trying to track the coins if anyones able to help any further. I don't need a lesson on how the site works, I am fully aware of what I did wrong, just shocking that it didn't reject a tip of that magnitute or have some internal alert that it was instantly suspicious.

I understand that you are angry and you are ...right...
the fact that they have introduced changes to their policy is a step forward.

regarding this post I didn't understand:
-even if "they" know your username and they are going to doxx you what is the real issue? I mean, if you're able to play with such figures for sure you're not living in a suburb driving a fiat panda...
what about keep the account private so no one will known anymore what are you doing on stake?
-how did you know that this account was created 5 minutes before the tip?
-I fully understand that such a tip is nonsense (of course).
I don't want to give you any lessons but I would always try the legal route (company negligence?) in short, you can always look for such support in addition to writing here on the forum...
2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Do Gamblers Do This? on: February 21, 2023, 09:20:28 PM
The answer is very simple.
some gamblers can no longer stop and set limits and for a variety of reasons they lose much more than they really could afford to lose. On this forum I read these comments very often. In the sports betting forums that I frequented I never read such comments Roll Eyes
Probably this happens because here we are "anonymous" (at least a kind of) and most of people start to gamble without real experience or understanding gambling issues.
2155  Economy / Gambling / Re: Diamond 5 Stake, account was hacked on: February 21, 2023, 07:52:59 PM
Yeah so, a month or so ago I started getting messages from players on the site demanding money or they would dox me or they would do this and that, sending images of family members and so on. I wrote in and asked for help in making my account incognito or some kind of privacy and was denied.

What has happened is that my telegram where I get the notifications from stake was found out, someone sent me a link on telegram so it popped up on my computer looking just like stakes messages. I clicked it and the rest is history. As far as withdrawls and kyc no stake doesn't have any kyc on withdrawals up to 60k i believe for instant. In any event, clicking was idiotic but the 2fa being stripped and money not being withdrawn but tipped over to a new account is pretty shocking. They stopped 105k and are congratulating themselves for doing so but I lost 100k in the process of them cashing out a bet and stealing the funds.

Was hoping due to my level at the company they would reach some kind of agreement but it's simply 'we can't pay for stolen funds'

First of all I am really sorry to read such bad story Sad and sure even if you get scammed by a phishing...isn't their fault (and really hard even to be proved!)

According your post, please note that I have a private account on stake Roll Eyes what did you mean with incognito mode? Isn't private the same thing? Of course I don't spend any time on their chat simply because I don't care/have time for doing it.

Last but not least, telegram messages from stake are received ONLY in their channel for vip and not from random account ...

At this point there is nothing more to be done. You can try to reach TETHER to see what it can be done.
Secondly you can ask legal support specialized in such crypto activities... and track this ETH address (just in case scammer will use an exchange you can try to recover this sum)

wopa+

I absolutely can NOT recommend this page:

  • extraordinary surplus to pay
  • delivery time within Europe takes months (!) (actually I'm still waiting for delivery of a CS purchased in November)
  • further - and here it's a no-go for me - they do not have the stamps with themselves (so they are just intermediary) but order delivery directly from the original seller, even though the product is already sold out with the original seller. I was told that the original seller has to wait for returned stamps which are often already scanned, so you only get "low valued" (in terms of CS) stamps via this page

I use wopa+ ofently and never had any problem. They are based in Gibraltar so i guess you should call them because this is not normal.
Quite happy with intermediary because i can buy stamps which are sometimes sold out at the primary dealers (or i even do not know they exist!)
Regarding the premium, yes u r right and it can be hudge.
Consider this : there are 8 (eight) millions ETH wallet holding NFT (source : Willy Woo on twitter Feb 19). So even if u pay a premium today, imagine the price of those stamps in  10 years when NFT will be as common as internet.
Today, some Bore Ape Yacht Club BS NFT  are sold for 80 ETH on opensea market place. NFT stamps are really mispriced.
Also, this is a great diversification away from Bitcoin : i can see a ban on BTC (last executive order from Biden administration makes it clear for Bitcoin : they are trying to kill it smoothly) not NFT.

NFT Stamps emitted by UPU countries and maybe used for real postage are interesting and innovative.
Of course this is working for first editions. I will not pay any premium, but mostly I would be focused on emissions sold directly by postage administrations.

Much probably, the emissions with high numbers/speculative etc are just a waste of times like CTO stamps.
Just see some EU countries that have not already sold all products Wink

USA will not ban BTC, just for your reference and point of discussion Wink

if your friend needs money (FIAT liquid money) I would give it away directly and not waste time.
If he has not experience to exchange he can waste a % while changing ....

I think the real gift for a bitcoiner would be something related culture likewise "understanding the power of a product like bitcoin".
I'm sure a good book and a few satoshis are always the best gift for a bitcoiner.
It could also be interesting to give a bitcoin collectible as a gift.
