Add a faucet rotator into the miner, so that you can gain dust from faucets while mining.  If anything it will improve ROI figures.

The human work output in agricolture is about 0.074 kw. I want a miner that can convert human work into hashing. That could be controversial, but a great deal for that zones who have a difficoult access to energy but a lot of manpower. In cold zones, you can use the heat too.

Or you can just convert in hashing the power wasted at your local gym...

Less fat, more hashing!

Ya!  Pump it people.  Make Daddy some Btc.  Cheesy

Could you then have incentives for people to work out there, where they would actually be making money back based on their electrical output, as opposed to having to pay a monthly membership fee?

EDIT:  How much electricity could an average person output on a stationary bike by working out for an hour?

Very sweet. Love the idea of moving back towards boards instead of bulky rig packages, price point and efficiency are terrible. You can get a S3 which includes cooling and roughly same hashrate for about 80 bucks. These you have to buy a cooling option as well, and even downclocked is about tied with bitmains last generation.  Needs to be about 40 dollars per board to be worth it.

Most controversial entry:

A miner that will be happy outside.  Probably not something where you just set it in the middle of the yard, but something that can go out on the back porch and have shielding from the elements.  A big problem is heat and noise of miners, and moving a miner outside would provide a ton of benefits.

Make it wireless, so only the power chord is needed. (you could even make some kind of built in housing for the power supply so that isn't exposed either.)  Then make the miner enclosed so that water will be kept out.  Summer heat would be a problem, but with high enough quality components, even running at high temperatures should be fine.

Something I was trying to get out of Bitmain's U3, and that I think is very practical and could be very useful for home miners is making it into a heater that can be placed throughout your house.  I have an apartment and my windows are terribly inefficient, so I wanted to place the little U3 units two or three to a window sill to fight back some of the cold, the problem was that they needed to be plugged into a computer via USB, and I could never get them running (still can't), so it was kind of a bust.

But, there is an opportunity to make a good product like this.  Make it stand alone so it doesn't need to be plugged into a computer, and make it connect to WiFi so that it doesn't need to be plugged into a router or switch.  You could even make different sizes, like a 1 chip, 5 chip, etc... model, so you could choose how much heat you wanted given off.  Also a 1 chip model would probably need a smaller power cord, which would be less noticeable if your trying to hide them, then it could scale up from there.  Also, it would be neat to put suction cups or something on them so they could stick to windows and be off of the window sill. Just makes it easier to hide them from view.  I would also like something on the end of the miner that you could swivel or adjust that would blow the exhaust one way or another.  For instance, I could angle the exhaust to the left or right instead of straight out the back.

To be able to down clock the miner with a dial of sorts would be very nice.  So for hotter days all I would need to do is turn the dial and the miner would use less power and give off less heat.  It would also be very practical to have a web UI that would detect all miners on my network where I could easily under clock the units for the whole household at once.

I hope you like my idea, I have gone through the last 2 winters without having to run my heater at all by using mining units, and have saved/made money doing it.  This works great for a smaller apartment, but household wide solutions should be the next step.  Noise can be somewhat of an issue too, so remember that most people will pay a little higher price for a better/quieter fan.

2151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: May 06, 2015, 02:20:49 AM
I have the winning strategy but doog wants to keep my quiet from sharing it.  It is why he left me negs on my account and the reason why he felt threatened.  Its ok cause doog I was joking with you yesterday and all my people I share the secrets with will get clams and take down ur dice site for good.
If you have serious money and you are a whale, then Im willing to give you the secret for free!  you can donate anything you want to me at the end.  I have two accounts using a bot strategy.  I can explain it if your are serious to take the sites bank roll.

You don't have a winning strategy. I left you negative feedback because you were trying to sell a losing strategy to suckers. If you have a winning strategy, why don't you use it to win?

I'm quitting JD for a while. Its been a fun 2 years but I need to take a step back and get my life back into a positive light and get my investors paid back (hopefully end of summer).

Good luck to dooglus / Deb and the rest of the JD staff and players. It's been a blast.

Thanks.

Good luck to you too. Getting away from the site will be good for you I'm sure. Thank you for the time you put in to moderating the chat and generally keeping things interesting. Smiley

I did turn out with two profits on two different accounts on ur site.  I had to use my money for emergency reasons, hence I cant afford to play now.  reason why I am offering it for free with donations when they make something.  For you to pay attention to my posts, clearly means you feel threatened to what I discovered.

I promise you that you do not have any strategy that over any period of time will result in a positive outcome (+EV).  If you want to PM me the "strategy" I will explain how you will eventually lose and I promise not to share it with anyone so it won't affect your business model.

2153  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: May 04, 2015, 12:32:54 AM
The Hong Kong Police have contacted me as they have opened a case against Black Arrow Limited and Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation.

It's been assigned a Police Report Number, an Investigation "Team" and has a lead detective.  It is under active investigation.

Due to the email stating that the information cannot be reproduced as the information may be for my eyes only, I am not going to repost the detective's name, report number, or contact information.  I also don't want Black Arrow to contact the Detective first and supply them false information like their constantly changing "terms of service" that nobody ever agreed to.

Hopefully they do more than the Thames police did.

Hong Kong Police don't fuck around...they will be charge don't worry about that. Where the signatures on these so-called contracts? Nobody signed their shit.

WOOT WOOT, please keep us updated, love anything that happens to bring these guys down.
2154  Economy / Service Discussion / Any interest in Hair Products for Bitcoin???? on: May 03, 2015, 07:14:05 PM
My parents own some hair salons and sell hair products in the shops.  I could probably get a list of the products that they have for sale and list them here, but before I go through the effort, I want to see if there would be ample interest?

So please let me know if you would pay bitcoin for things like shampoo and conditioner, and whether paying a few dollars over what you could get those products for at Walmart or other places for shipping would hinder you buying online?

2156  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: April 30, 2015, 12:46:01 PM
They didn't use customer bitcoin payments whatsoever to purchase materials or labor.

I have never heard of a single batch 1 customer's bitcoin payment ever moving whatsoever until a few months ago, when BA claimed that funds were stolen from them, despite BA's term of sale specifying that fiat conversions were to be done via BTC-e.

In reality what happened is they used BTC-e just for the conversion rate, to take advantage of the fact that they would receive the maximum number of bitcoins for an invoiced dollar amount, and fraudulently charged all bitcoin customers "conversion" fees that were fictitious from the very beginning, as their ultimate intention was to embezzle their revenues.

Well at least we can take some comfort in knowing that they have lost a lot of value because bitcoin was 4 to 5X what it is today when we were ordering.  Yet again, they are idiots for not doing what they said they would, and have lost a substantial some of value because of this, does my heart a little good.
2157  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Do miners pay TAX over their earnings?? on: April 28, 2015, 04:15:32 PM
Please let me know if you have Knowledge or experience with this.
yes bitcoin miners or any other cryptocurrency miner needs to pay tax too..and additnally they have to pay the electricity bills and many more..hope u go for asic mining

NO you dont. You can choose to not pay.

Why ever you pay tax? thats free all cash in hand type of money, but if you want to pay extra be my guest. Elecrcity bills is the only bill so I dont know what else which you need to pay regardless if it wasnt mining youd still be paying for.

The difference is not depositing the money in a checkings account.

This is the most uneducated post I have ever read, which leaves me to believe that the only reason you haven't been audited and found guilty of tax evasion is because you don't make enough for it to be worth it from the IRS's standpoint.  You can also choose to rob a store, but its still illegal!  Also, the IRS can still know if you are hiding cash if it never hits your bank account.  Don't be an idiot and keep your dumb opinions to yourself.
2158  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Do miners pay TAX over their earnings?? on: April 28, 2015, 01:33:28 PM
What earnings, you shouldnt be paying taxes unless you are well into the profit and most who think they made alot of money are not including their costs properly.     A business can carry over losses for six years against profits hence you get those headlines, megacorp makes record profits but operates tax free.   People have to be more careful but I reckon you should not pay tax on your little home operation.
Any 'profits' Ive made I just used to buy computer parts, since I need it as part of the operation I think its allowable cost against earnings

New rule of the thread, unless you have read the tax code of your respective country, and the rulings about how bitcoin is taxed, you are not allowed to post in this thread.

The countless, "opinions" expressed are not only wrong, but severely misleading to someone who may sincerely want to know how they should be treating their bitcoin earnings.  You, like many before you, are unknowledgeable in the matter, wrong, and spreading misinformation on your opinion.

2160  Economy / Services / Re: Coin-Unlimited.com: The Ultimate Bitcoin Faucets Rotator. (Funding Phase) on: April 27, 2015, 01:39:38 AM
I see that you added 'stars' at the beginning of every row. Is that so people can mark their favourites? I think that's a great idea. I guess that will work when people can set up accounts, so that doesn't have to be done for launch.

If I could use the website to claim from faucets, that would do it for me. At the moment, I can claim once, but none of the timers are correct, and a lot of the faucets I use aren't there. I don't want to slow you down with lists of faucets to add, or timers to correct, but I do want to use the rotator, to test it out on a larger scale.

Automated way for users to add "or at least submit a request to add" faucets, Also to modify the timers per website. Allright coming right up with the users login/registration

whats going on with the launch of this site?

User accounts were added, The contribution/voting is coming

Is there a time frame?  I thought the site was days from launching a couple of weeks ago?
