is there still a chance or not at all for this account?
Dear spammer, shitposter and content thief: the answer to your question is a solid NO. I love how the Merit system suddenly makes spammers realize they won't get another account with Member status! Until last year, you'd just farm 10 new accounts, but you can't do that, so bans start to pay off and improve the quality of this forum.
21542  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ BTCJUA.com - Simplest Casino | No Minimum Withdraw | 4 BTC 🏆 JACKPOT on: December 01, 2018, 10:30:31 AM
I have a few questions Tongue

FOR GEEKS Signed Message :
address->1V3ncM1s6pDzk8hmTuexvdbkTwTpVN8qZ
message ->btcjua.com
signature->HK8ZCeRNuGpZ1wA1xrX9QqcjniYh8UEXIclTA8ulirwWPog1a888ubvpT1D19YTpsuJ07Jmz0tXAVpT Hb/QAtX8=
Message verified. But why sign a message from an address that held only low amounts?

I just checked your site and I'm surprised to see a winning bet of more than 300btc and other big bets. Is that real?
yes the script fetches last few transactions on the Bitcoin wallet, and yes that is my wallets, i used the huge amount to test stability and other few things.
Can you sign a message from an address holding >300 BTC to prove your bankroll? I find it hard to believe you own $1.2M, but can only pay $40 for a signature design.

Quote
pm me if you need some 1-5$ worth of btc for testing, or you can simply play it with 0.5$
Is this still available?

house edge is calculated as below
>win chance 33% for 3x
>which is (33*3) = 99
edge = total bet - bet factor
1 = 100 - 99

house edge = 1

0.9% goes to casino + 0.1% for transaction fees
From a user's perspective, I'd say the house edge is 1%.

Quote
refunded if transaction propagates with small fees
I'm not sure what this means exactly.

Are you claiming that 10 BTC has been transacted on your site today?
i signed the address => my address => got money on that address = my funds
I would like to see a signed message from an address holding >10 BTC.

First 1000 satoshi now costs just $4000/100 000 000 = 0.004 cents
So you consider it not affordable payment?
The amount isn't the problem, the usefulness is.

Your message will see ALL users because it is one-to-many messaging channel
I'm confused Tongue From what I read here, I expected a website that shows me all previous messages. That could indeed be something new and unique (or at least I haven't seen it before), and could be great for advertising if it goes viral. Kinda like The Million Dollar Homepage did many years ago.
But there are no messages on the site, all it does is ask me for payment. What's worse, it asks me for payment to the same address someone else used already, which means whoever is fastest copying a new txid will claim credit for it.

My thoughts:
  • Create an account system with unique accounts and unique addresses
  • Give the first 1000 users 1000 characters credit for free
  • Make sure the first thing users see is the latest messages posted
  • The payment part should be something small in a corner, not full screen
  • Don't even think about charging fees when there's less than 1000 users
Good luck!

I don't trust the bot making game because you are always competing against someone better than you.
That's the challenge in any skill-based game Wink But the reason for choosing bots over manual play is to prevent people from colluding. Playing together against another player gives you an advantage. With the bots, you can't select who gets drowned.
I'm not sure how this problem is handled in poker.

You keep overtaking me from 75th into 74th every other day Loyce Grin
And just 2 days later, I'm 51st Cheesy
I moved up many places when my trust went up just slightly. Most trusted users with 30 trust range from Rank 212 to 310. I'm placed at 241, and this has a huge influence on my recognition score.

I was thinking about a different variable that might have some value to the Recognition score: the number of different users who left feedback to a person (both DT and non-DT). Positive or negative, receiving feedback means the user is recognized.

I have one more suggestion: you can use pywallet to search an entire partition.
Obviously, the partition itself has to be unencrypted.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to accomplish. From your Reddit link, I read:
Quote
Wallet was created and deleted in a time frame of 1 minute
That doesn't sound like the wallet has been in use, and in your Youtube video I see several other (much bigger) wallets (walletdddd.dat for instance).
Can you be more thorough in  your explanation? Don't rush it, take your time, but try to be as complete as possible.

Proof: Check LinkedIn row 25. Using same LinkedIn account as row 14
An external spreadsheet isn't solid proof.

When checking the post history I noticed he is using the social media post links of multiple people
If he copies posts, get him on plagiarism. Report it here and have him banned.
I checked a few posts, but it seems even Google has given up on the bounty spam boards, so I couldn't prove plagiarism (and don't want to spend more of my evening on this).

The real solution would be for bounty managers to do their job, but since bounties pay in tokens created out of thin air, and they earn from spam, they really don't care about abuse.
21553  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lutpin and his kinds are not gods so stop it. on: November 29, 2018, 06:39:09 PM
2/ The neg rating isn't the issue, I'm talking about the way people on the forum address old and respected members. I got the impression that there is some king of tremendeous gap between old established members and newer ones and I believe it doesn't help to attract or maintain a good atmosphere on the forum
I felt kinda intimidated too as a Newbie, and receiving a PM from a highly trusted user was a big thing.

The guy comes back 6 weeks late without any excuses saying "ok I pay you" and people give merit to his post  Shocked
I don't see what's wrong with that. Merit is meant for posts that are worth reading, and Lutpin's post adds important information to that thread.

It's sad how "follow the Merit" often leads to copied content. Please ban Newbie movistar banned! for plagiarism.

Yeah, I would merit only posts that are high in quality and contribute to the forum.
I see you've merited 1 post only. Unfortunately, it's plagiarism, so he deserves a ban. It's the sad reality of many new users: they're not here to contribute, and the few good posts they make aren't theirs.

You (amicrypto) on the other hand seem to be a real user, which is highly appreciated and exactly what this forum needs. The merit system gives you a chance to stand out from all the spammers.
21556  Other / Meta / Re: Is promising Merits for some useful Info wrong? on: November 29, 2018, 04:10:10 PM
I've seen others do it, some successful, some unsuccessful. I wouldn't do it though, as it can easily be confused with using Merit as a means of payment.
Just Merit objectively good posts, or if you only have a few sMerit: merit only great posts.
21557  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitcoin withdraw adrees on: November 29, 2018, 10:42:31 AM
You can choose a wallet when you register, it requires only email and password + Captcha. That's all. Nowhere you find info that you need to change your address.
That is weird indeed. Last time I used it (years ago), it asked for your address instantly, and that address was used to log in.
The FAQ says:
Quote
You should ensure that the correct withdrawal address is specified in the PROFILE page before requesting a payment or enabling auto-withdraw.
And although it is common sense that you can't withdraw to your own address if you never entered it, it's also something you can easily forget if you come back to the site after a while, and see an address already.
But I see no wrongdoing: I've created a new account to test it, and the default profile address is also the deposit address. So I assume OP's withdrawal was credited again to his own account (minus fees).
21558  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HELP!! Where are my coins?? on: November 29, 2018, 09:18:43 AM
I send coints from my coinbase account to my binance account, and unfortunalty there was a copy/paste error and I send the coints to anoher adress/user/platform etc.
Chances are your PC is infected with clipboard hijacking malware: when you copy/paste a Bitcoin address, the malware replaces it with the attacker's address and you lose your coins.
All Bitcoin transactions are final, if you send your coins to the wrong address, only the owner can return them. And if the current owner created malware to steal your coins, there's no chance he'll return them.

It's better to create a new topic than posting in this one.
21559  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any good Bitcoin games around? on: November 29, 2018, 09:03:54 AM
Interesting. The game is relatively new yet appealing to the eyes. If by anyway it becomes popular, then it'll gain traction the same way Ethereum-based games do. It seems to me that there are more Ethereum games than Bitcoin games, since it's much simpler to code a smart contract with its own NFT (Non-Fungible Token). CryptoKitties was the first (if not, one of the first) game to make use of NFTs to deliver something unique to the public. This has resulted in massive adoption and popularity of both the game and the Ethereum blockchain. The same way could happen with Bitcoin, if a "killer" game is released which makes use of the Lightning Network or the RootStock sidechain.
A LN-based game will be completely different, as it requires each transaction to be send through your wallet again. I see great possibilities for LN for casino's, where an (near) instant deposit can send your winnings back to your wallet within seconds, but not for games that use bots to play on a website.
21560  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: November 29, 2018, 07:09:41 AM
I do have much older data from the modlog - but historical entries do not have a corresponding record in the meta log.  I can fix this.

However, rather than you reparsing thousands of days worth of people being archived, I would prefer just to send you the list.
If you can just send me the raw modlogs, I'll get the banned accounts from there. That's probably the least amount of work for you.

I use the same profile ID that bitcointalk uses.  The name they have for their ID will be the same as mine.  Smiley
I know, but BPIP doesn't show the profile IDs on metalog. That makes it much easier to link them to my big lists of forum abusers.
