The idea of printing excessive amounts of money to stimulate spending was a sort of band aid solution to a critical issue, leading to higher inflation and higher cost of living. What are protests going to do - Government are not much concerns about people interest they are much concerned about the Ukraine and Russia war how to put sanctions on countries which are neutral - and how to make a regime change. This inflation is obvious. I am fully convinced that Ukraine war is the root cause of all economic crisis the world is passing though since beginning of 2022 because it created supply chain issues of crude oil & food products which triggered rise in inflation all over the world, Unfortunately this war is not coming to end because neither Russia or Ukraine is winning this war. The people in many countries are protesting because they can not afford to pay their sky rocketing electricity & gas bills & if inflation is not brought under control then these protests can create massive unrest. |

September has been running for half but the market is still normal and not rising, in 2021 the market rising starts in september, if there is no significant increase in september then i'm sure 2022 will be like now, of course my hope is to rise soon so that my assets increase and can profit again.
The higher CPI data announced last week has diminished hopes of market recovery in September. Some market analysts are now predicting 100 basis point increase in interest rate in coming month & that may trigger 30% fall in stock market which will be very shocking for all markets including crypto. A lot of reports I've seen around here state that bitcoin (and most pow coin) use, on average, a higher proportion of waste energy when compared with other areas of electricity use too (especially because they run 24 hours and need to be set up in places with lower rates to be more effective).
I think the is a bit of an issue with pow in that it might incentivise large energy producers to mine themselves and thus might make the network more centralised as a result (there are ways around this, like getting enough individuals to solomine with only a few chips - or just one) but ultimately the power might come back to the energy firms.
(I still consider PoW to be a lot more secure than PoS though and more reasonable of a choice).
It will take time to believe that POS system is equally secure, energy efficient and faster when Ethereum successfully achieves all milestones with predefined time lines & that remains to be seen. I also believe that Bitcoin security system is very secure and it is most decentralized compared to any other crypto currency becuase we have seen any report of bitcoin hacking whereas Ethereum & tokens created on its network had many incidents of hacking. From the past until now many people have stated and assumed that bitcoin was dead but in fact Bitcoin still exists today. All Fuds about bitcoin are dead, in my opinion, there are a lot of people who buy and hold Bitcoin so there is a big bubble, making the price higher and until now Bitcoin is still there but still in correction.
I know Bitcoin will never die & whatever rumors are spread in the market it doesn't bother me much. I will continue holding my Bitcoin & book profit when it makes new ATH. It happened many times in the past will happen in future as well that it falls 80-85% from its ATH but again rises from ashes & makes new ATH. If you firmly believe in Bitcoin & hold it with patience, it will never disappoint you. |

Well I would have to agree with Mr Scott Redler since I really believe price of ETH will break 2,000 when the merge happens.
My biggest missed opportunities for investing in Crypto was when my friend recommended buying Ethereum when it was less then $100 so I do not sell any of them now and look forward to this merge.
It is good news that Ethereum merge was completed successfully yesterday but its price didn't increase as many market participants had expected which is very disappointing. Ether is down more than 9% which reflects market didn't celebrate seamless merger of Ethereum. In the long-term conversion to proof of stake will have good impact on its price because it is anti-inflationary but due to overall weak economic conditions all financial markets are not performing & so is crypto. |

since LUNC massive drop in price, I have the feeling that this coin will never again find a recovery, and in fact, I also thought that this was the end result. IMO, when the CEO of a project is caught, or has problems because of the project he owns, and because of his mistake, then I think the result is that the project will die. investors will lose confidence in the project. this is the same as Centra, and a project that died a few years ago.
True that it is almost impossible to recover for a project after 99.9% crash which had shook the whole crypto industry. Whatever new idea Luna team comes up with this project not attract investment from genuine investors, only speculators will make money by trapping the small investors. It remains to be to be seen how All 6 accused of Terra Farm Labs are arrested as they have have already moved their offices to Singapore. |
