Leicester had really good times with Schmeichel. The season that they became the champions in the Premier League is just unforgettable even now. It is time for him to leave as it seems. I understand that he wants a new adventure with a different team after playing 11 seasons for Leicester. Nice is one of the decent Ligue 1 teams hence I think that he would continue to perform nicely there too. The Lakers do not need a veteran, they have experience players like their big 3. What they need are role players that could step up consistently so their starter could rest and will not become prone to injury. Lebron, AD, and Westbrook, as long as they play great basketball, that will affect the entire team in a positive way.
I agree about this topic. Lakers don't need such a player to be more successful now. The important thing for them now is to replace Westbrook with a better guard. It has been on the news that Real Madrid have no interest in signing Ronaldo. It is not a surprising situation actually because they didn't have any plans for bringing back Ronaldo in the near future. They already have Benzema and his performance was incredible last season.
