It depends from the average standard of living in the concrete country. I think there would be 100s millions of voluntary conscripts in India if offered $1000/month, but for Sweden it is just a pittance! Your virus won't be from the Pirate Bay, it'll be from seeders. This is a risk which everyone has to take if they want to pirate anything. Most people are perfectly fine. been downloading from them since time but never get to have viruses even when i'm using windows. just chose the ones that got reputation like eztv or ergt uploaders. don't install anything from any uploads too. I am also downloading through torrents for the last 10 years or so. I never had any issues with trojans / spyware, even when I was not using any anti-virus software (now I am using Kaspersky). |
