Very curious and excited to see the updates... Which one will be the official Megacoin site now?
And have to say more and more coins adopting the Kimoto Gravity Well is just a confirmation of how good of an idea that was!!! Big up Kimoto!

Also curious on why Megacoin.co.nz was taken down... I guess to remove any association with Mega and Kim.Com?

Mined a few e-Token the first time around and after the rebirth I'm still mining some more.
Great job to everyone involved and good luck with this coin!!!

What impressed me of the first instance was how quickly the website was translated in 11 languages! A la Megacoin...
Once you guys figure out the info to fill the new site with I'll be happy to do the Italian translation.
I'm also pretty good with English if you need some help/ideas!

2186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Development on: January 22, 2014, 08:17:46 PM

This was made possible because of two reasons:

1)   The average hashing power per chip has been beefed up significantly from our estimated 300Khs per chip to 800Khs per chip and thereby reducing the number of chips required to reach the required hashes.

2)   Earlier we were planning to stack miner boards vertically one over the other, however after the reduction in the number of chips we decided to go horizontally and increase the depth of the 1u chassis in order to accommodate the boards horizontally. The boards will be connected to each other through ribbon cables. By stacking boards horizontally thermal design improves as stacking of boards vertically will have passed the heat to all the boards which were above them. With efficient heat sinks having sizeable fins heat can be dissipated in the chassis by channelizing the heated air properly with the directed fans. If we need to we can also go for conduction cooling through the chassis itself.

A technical drawing will be shared in due course once we have finalized both the board and enclosure sizes.

Fiaz.

Great news! +1
2187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AndroidsTokens - ADT - proof of stake Coin - 66 Billion - Trade on Cryptsy! on: January 20, 2014, 11:34:57 PM
Ok, one last post: promise!

ADT will be fixed soon, thanks zacks! looking forward to this.

And once is fixed you don't have to leave, it will be silly in my opinion and I wouldn't want to see you go.

jagrapolite5 is also not going to leave and I wouldn't want to see him leave neither, and whatever has been said previously (you guys made it public) hasn't changed my support for ADT and yourselves.

After the storm there is always the rainbow, you both have valid points but the main goal is to get on with ADT.

You have shown commitment previously and currently with both of yours' efforts.

Please post again once we have some good news about ADT or progress and we can all get back on it.

I would love to see both of you involved, please don't let us down by being against each other. Doesn't make sense.

ADT to the moon!!!

2188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AndroidsTokens - ADT - proof of stake Coin - 66 Billion - Trade on Cryptsy! on: January 20, 2014, 11:14:37 PM
i have never once told or asked or even mentioned him leaving.... zackclarck is the one that has said "i will leave after this repair".....

I have not once refused to to pay for anything, also i have paid for countless repairs you have only paid half of last repair and your doing this repair you demanded to do and having great difficulties doing considering this talk is happening.

this is 1 repair...... your halfway in .....and your demanding me to leave or threatening to leave yourself.... this is straight up buckwall crazy.

Ok this is the last i get involved as i have no right to step into your conversations.

Zacks you don't have to leave, Jagra you neither! Can I say you guys stop posting for the night, think about it and possibly talk privately and seriously make peace?

ADT needs both of you, as a supporter I don't care who paid more or who paid less, or who has done more or who is the dev. I believe that ADT has to live with involvement from both of you. Now step back a little, watch a nice movie (may I suggest the wolf of wall street 3+ hours) distract yourselves and speak in private messages. Work things out.

It would be lovely tomorrow if both of you could come back to this thread and say there has been a little tension but it's all over now and back on track for the relaunch of ADT's new blockchain. That's all it matters, honestly if you have to post about dissing each other I doubt people is interested in this.

For ADT sake would be lovely to see both of you as a team or independently (whatever turns you on) back on track and focused on the project.
Thanks for listening. Now it's up to you.
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AndroidsTokens - ADT - proof of stake Coin - 66 Billion - Trade on Cryptsy! on: January 20, 2014, 10:59:02 PM

the fact is that jag wants me to leave ADT as soon as I have completed the fix

I want ADT to do the best possible

and jag siting around doing nothing while I have to sort everything is not in adt best interests

he has not even been helping to spread the word that people need to update

to be perfectly honest it has got to the point where I cant deal with him any more

its going to get to the point where 1 of us has to leave as there is no way I can work with someone that is not prepared to do half the work or put up any money

he refuses to help pay towards the fix he refuses to help with it yet he will be happy to take the credit when its fixed

he is still the dev I have never been made dev of adt as jag keeps reminding me so all he has to do is say the word and I would be out of adt

Let's calm down a bit, I understand you guys had a few warm discussions but I do not believe that jagrapolite5 would want you to leave after all you have done for this coin, just read back from the start of this thread and look who are the 2 people who have posted, supported and defended this coin since it launched.

jagrapolite5 please answer to zacks, I don't believe you want him to live ADT, one answer can make a lot of difference.

I don't know zackclark70 nor jagrapolite5, I'm only interested in the survival of ADT and came back to this thread a few days back to see this?

Guys please shake hands and make peace you both are grown ups, what has been said has been said but it's the past already.
Let this coin live as when it started, you guys were doing very well as a team!
2190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AndroidsTokens - ADT - proof of stake Coin - 66 Billion - Trade on Cryptsy! on: January 20, 2014, 10:38:42 PM
Both of you zackclark70 & jagrapolite5 stop this nonsense.

You both put a lot of effort in this coin. Things went wrong... shit happens, no matter what happened and who's fault it is... Get this coin back up and be good mates! It's for your own interest and for all the people that mined and invested in this coin and the ones that still believe in it.

jagrapolite5 has a good point, if the coin is broken what is the point to promote it? Let's wait until it's fixed. And let's see what he brings out after that.

zackclark70 has spend a lot of money (in my opinion) to get the coin repaired, my total respect for that. But he also setup the forum, got the new logo arranged, etc, etc...

I'm no one to comment on what you two are doing or the way you behave towards each other, I'm just an ADT supporter that feels upset by seeing the 2 main characters behind this project fighting like little kids and potentially drive away interest and support.

Come on, in the name of ADT stop it and be more constructive, looking forward to see ADT back up and running!!!

Go on ADT! Keep holding your coins... Once the blockchain is swapped and proven reliable the value should go up a bit.
And sounds like there is a logo redesign coming too? Can we see a snippet?

How about setting up a competition for a new ADT logo a la Mincoin? It attracted a bit of attention... But after the new blockchain is in place.

I also have two of those 1500W supplies, and they are kick ass! Single/multi rail in one, load meter, nice quality cabling... I like using them to measure wattage draws on cards in real time, then I'll swap over to smaller PSUs when I feel everything is in safe running conditions. My only complaint is it's loud and you can hear the APFC clicks a lot when running 1200W of water cooled GPUs. Loudest thing in the build, by far  Cheesy

Are you running all 6 of those 280x's on one. I know it'll do it on 220, but I never really thought it would run all 6 at full throttle.

I agree, I had 4 280x running on the EVGA plus the CPU (Core i7 4930K) and the rest and it was hitting about 1400W... Maaaan that was loud! And yes it was the loudest thing in the setup. The fan does a good job to keep the PSU cool though. I have another 1600W PSU I got from CryptX made in Holland, the brand is Recom... It was about €150 a steal! So I had the other 2 280x running on that + some other Asic for BTC. I doubt you'll be able to run 6 280x cards on the EVGA if you want to leave 20% of the power to keep the PSU healthy. Still the EVGA is a great PSU would recommend to anyone who needs reliable power for their gaming RIG.
2197  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: January 15, 2014, 04:24:59 PM

your psu is a epic win Cool my god these evga 1500 are expensive

It is indeed very expensive, I bought it for around £300 in November and I've seen it up to £400 recently.
But it's the best power supply money can buy, it overclocks to 1600W + you can set it to power up your miners with no need for shorting ATX pins.
I would say most miners will be better off with 2 cheaper power supplies instead of this one (it'll cost much less) but in my case once I'm done with mining I can always use it to build a PC with it.  Smiley Wink Cheesy
2198  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: January 11, 2014, 10:22:34 PM

Why are two of them running so much slower? You identified which two it is? What I mean by that is the order doesn't make sense, but you have 4 of one brand and two of another. Are the Sapphire ones the slow ones? I know those are capable of much more than that.

Just got the Sapphire cards a couple of days ago so I'm still fiddling with the settings, also had issues with powered risers and non powered riser in terms of which PCI slot I was connecting them to. At times the mainboard wouldn't pass the post stage... So I'm using 3 powered risers and 3 non powered. But the biggest issue was to get Windows 8.1 to work with 6 cards, 5 was fine but the 6th came up with error 43, detected fine but couldn't mine with it. So then I used Techpowerup driver 13.1 then 13.12 and somehow I got the 6 cards detected as 7900 serie cards instead of R200 series and I could finally mine with 6 of them.

In reply to your question 1 of the HIS and 1 of the Sapphire cards are mining at less speed than they are able to... And still trying different settings to see if I could get them to go a little faster but without much luck yet. If anyone has any recommendation I'll be happy to listen. Overall I'm running about 0.5MH/s slower than I could but I can live with it. Have to say it's been a very interesting learning experience and happy to have 6 cards mining on the same board. If I get them all mining at least at 750 KH/s I will post here how I did it.
