If you are bored in your self-isolation, self-quarantine, social distancing or wtf you wanna call it,
go browse the Amazon toilet paper inventory for a chuckle (or not, depending on your situation). Every legit brand is currently unavailable. Oh gee, what a surprise!
There's like one brand, however, with a squiggly line on the package that seems to be available. (like in a month or something ridiculous)
God knows what brand or company.
It's all over the place on the page under different descriptions and quantity and price.
Obviously the same product from same factory.  So outta curiosity, I clicked on it and then the questions and answers link.
Turns out its made in China and one roll has..... wait for it....

170 servings   lol..   (my standard roll has a 1000)

That ought to last all of 4 shits...
Even less if theres women in the house... or you had a vindaloo the night before.
We are doomed to skid marks and crusty cling-ons  folks...... just like my cats. (but they don't seem to mind...)

antagonize and chastise me

Let me help you out:

~snip hilarious image~

Feel free to use it any time instead of typing those paragraphs of whiny-ass nonsense.

It's expired though.

And now he's trolling himself.

I'm worried.

It seems to me much like the long line of butthurt toadies already chiming in here, you are more focused on my personality rather than the facts of the matter.

Thanks for yet another brilliant demonstration of the fact that this is about personal feelings towards me and not the facts of the matter.

Thats rich.... although to his credit, he didn't use the term personal "widdle fee-fees"...

Point taken
I'm sorry, no

What people fail to understand is the magnitude of the logistics that it takes to keep a modern city supplied.

Faced with the prospect of a 2 week lockdown people go out to secure sufficient supplies for two weeks, this is entirely rational and understandable.

If everyone were buying 2 weeks usage of tp, I don't believe there would be a problem. I mean normally when I stock up, I buy enough to last around 3 months or so.
I think the problem was all the morons everyone panicked at the same time and bought enough to last a year . And it snowballed.
People aren't suddenly shitting more.
It's just now the normal supply of tp that is usually available in the supermarket is now sitting in storage in some paranoid idiot's armageddon bunker or some such ridiculous thing.
2187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 14, 2020, 11:22:48 PM
So just went shopping today.
No paper products or pasta. Everything else pretty much normal.
It's really sad and pathetic that idiots are hoarding toilet paper. This behaviour has a snowballing effect because of more idiots.
Now folks who are out and really need it can't get it. And then the cycle continues.
Morons like this only exacerbates the problem because  as stated above, more stupid people.

I've all but given up on humanity.
No worries for me though, it's almost gardening season...

Wait. What happens if miners decide to stop mining because its currently not worth it?

Well then as difficulty decreases, you simply buy a few of these bad boys, plug em in to pc and start mining your very own bitcoin!

Easy peasy!

...oh wait a minute....

If hashrate falls, I imagine these will become a hot selling item...

~snip...very large coded link~

No doubt.
The majority of my coins were actually mined on Antminer  S4's .
Thankfully, I sold the miners and hodeled the coins.

Corona. Corona. Myyyy Corona!

Well.... it was only a matter of time before this came out eh?
(apologies if already posted, I'm usually late to these things as I don't live on my device 24/7)

This one was a month earlier:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDc_6KRaX6Q

It's funny and subtitled, but i think it was posted here before, too.
Jason Park (the singer) is also a fucking good skateboarder. Check some skate vids on the channel, he's awesome.

Well, I'll give that dude's vid an "A" for effort anyway....

Feds announce massive market bailouts.. Bitcoin doesn't even move..

To be fair, the "market" wasn't impressed with those bailouts either... S&P is still down 8%.

Hey now! Nice to see you drop in my friend!  Stay safe and tell Techy I said hi! Wink

I picked the wrong day to quit shooting krokodil in my eye

i miss my glue sniffing days about now.

Reminds me of the time back in college when some dude gave me a sealed can of pharmaceutical liquid ether
that came from a dentist office as payment on a debt (don’t ask ).
Back in the day they used it like laughing gas as an anesthetic to put patients under.
You dipped a clean rag in the ether and throw the rag in a paper bag
and take a couple of huffs from the bag...instant buzz! Lol
That night we had an ether party in dorm room. To this day, the only one that’s ever occurred, no doubt.
Next morning I was at the bank (with an ether hangover) and the teller was like
“Hey, you smell that? It smells like a doctors office!”
I was like “yeah I do! I wonder where that’s coming from!...”

Yes folks, my college days were interesting to say the least

Ok, back to observing viruses & tanking markets.

Years ago, I got emotional once, and shook my fist at a rain cloud...

Hmmm....
pretty soon I reckon  I’ll be in the same boat as all those debt ridden millennials...

...with a runny nose....

No worries folks.
This whole terrible clusterfuck will all be over when the asteroid hits.
And you won’t even know....

UK       206        2      0.97%

2 deaths from 206 positivies is a 0.097%. If they were using a simple spreadsheet that kind of error should not happen. That's why we can not trust any of those figures, and much less the skewed stats used as a data source.

check your decimal place dude.     it's  .97%
