2181  Other / Meta / Re: Animated GIF images are not allowed. on: October 06, 2016, 06:06:46 PM
animated gif aren't supported anymore as stated by lutpin in this thread; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1400262.0

Because AFAIK animated gifs aren't supported/allowed anymore. Those you see around have uploaded their animated avatar ages ago.
Static gifs however aren't a problem at all, as my avatar shows.

A quick forum search revealed the following:

Old account (i.e ~2-3 years old ) were allowed [animated] gif avatars. But now it is not allowed not any member rank but still some old accounts have their [animated] gif avatar as their account avatar and is pretty in demand as now it is not allowed and user find [animated] gif avatars more attractive so it does make sense. If you try to put up an [animated] gif avatar it will refuse up and ask you to put up a .png or .jpeg or any non-animated [gif] avatar.
however:

Well, first of all, a gif is only an image/file format, so not all gifs have to be animated (/moving).
There are static (not moving/animated) gifs, aswell as animated ones.
Since the latter are not supported anymore for new avatars, I ofc couldn't upload an animated one,
however, my avatar is a gif, as you can see here:
https://bitcointalk.org/useravatars/avatar_520313.gif

however:

Would be nice if we could either add GIFs or at least have a message that "animated" ones aren't supported?

;p

All I wanted is show this lack of information, that animated ones aren't allowed. It's not a big deal honestly.
2182  Other / Meta / Animated GIF images are not allowed. on: October 06, 2016, 05:58:46 PM

Select the avatar you want to upload. It must be no more than 120px wide, 80px tall, and 100 KiB in size. It must be a PNG, GIF, or JPEG image. It must be safe for work. To remove your avatar, submit this form without choosing any file to upload.

^ I get it when I try to upload a GIF I made. It clearly says that GIF format is allowed though?

Thanks!

EDIT: I'm talking about the avatar GIF

Guys, if you have a problem with the previous owner, please, make a topic about it, don't spam my threads Sad

I need to keep those threads clean. I don't moderate them and I don't want to report your posts to mods.

Also, regarding the 0.0002/0.002 fee, there's no fee on the site, I've removed it since I took over the site.
I forgot to remove the text though, lmao

Can you say how many satoshis can we earn daily using all of your sites?
Hey man, welcome back!

To be honest, I don't know, lol, but it should be at least 100k per day from all sites, heh Smiley

Hi mex!

First of all i have to say that you did a great job by making this site. Really nice graphics and the chatsystem is also a big plus! I only have a question regarding the energisystem. I like the idea of getting more energy when you are active but i think its too much difference. If you are a high level you need like 10 energy to do 1 quest and if you sleep 8 hours you only get 8. So after a night sleep i cant even do one quest. I was hoping you can change it too 1 energy every 15 min or 30 min. I think that would be better and not too bad for you because we can only do one quest at a time wich i think is good Smiley

Thanks for Reading mex!

You get 1 energy every 5 minutes if you're active. If I gave more than 1 energy per hour it would be too much and people would be able to level up pretty fast.

I want this game stay a RPG and not become a sh*tty faucet Sad

This game is interesting and I like the new website. Too bad this site was not release during the highest peak of the Pokemon Go hype. If not, this site would have more than 1k people active.
Glad you like it Smiley
2188  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ★ BitMedia.IO ★ Bitcoin Advertising Platform - Official Thread on: October 03, 2016, 05:38:14 AM
I'd like to apply for my two sites again, but I'm getting this message while trying to add your Gmail address to my analytics:

Do you have an alternative address I can use?
Make sure there's no space before/after e-mail.
Some times it does that. Once I tried to give access to someone for one of my sites, took me a bit to figure out Smiley

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. I just doubled checked the spacing and it's giving me the same error unfortunately.

Maybe they aren't accepting new publishers at the moment? Hopefully they are.
GA has nothing to do with that though.
Maybe his/their's (e-mail)account doesn't have a google account.

I guess you'll have to wait until you get a response.
Make sure you e-mail them too. Could be faster

www.pokebits.com

New site launches in 6 hours for now. Let everyone know!

Hope you'll enjoy what you'll see in this major update!

FAQ:

Do we lose pokemon, stats, satoshi, from previous version?
No.

Will messages in chat cost anything?
Yes, 1 satoshi, just to demonstrate rain pool to new FaucetGaming users who haven't seen it.

2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which dice site is better ? on: October 02, 2016, 02:39:14 AM
I never seen any good dice sites or better site but prime dice is one of the legit one that are giving good promotion.. unlike other dice sites.
So better to play in primedice or wait for their promotion. before they are giving a way 0.03 before and you can instantly withdraw it without gamble it there. .
That's damn sick promotion.
2195  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: www.PokeBits.com - Play Pokemon, earn bitcoin! Simple and fast game! on: October 01, 2016, 09:09:42 PM
Looks really nice!! Is the chat like on faucetgame? Pay 100 for a
Message or is it free like Gamefaucet?
It's going to be free Smiley I just hope there wont be ref spam, etc. Don't want to create tabloids out of my sites lol. Trying to keep as less ads on site possible so there's not spam on site, so chat has to be clean too.

So, if there's spam in PB chat (ref links, swearing and not respecting each other, I'm giving a cost to each message so I can eliminate spam.
While paying people back with the same satoshi

I'm paying for this feature because clean chats are nice. No one likes spam. It's a gaming site after all Smiley
2196  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice. x100 rolls earn you lottery tickets. 0.02% House edge. on: October 01, 2016, 05:02:49 PM
Just hit 100x on dice roll but i think to get this hourly lottery ticket we need to have full account or i am wrong? I have saved unique access url is this will be fine to keep on using faucetgame in future with just that unique url and keep on enjoying lottery feature too.
You can play with a guest/anon account, get into lottery, etc.
But you need a full account in order to withdraw.
This is made so people don't abuse the system and prevent hackers draining the site

EDIT:

Tickets last until the lottery ends. You can't store them
2197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice. x100 rolls earn you lottery tickets. 0.02% House edge. on: October 01, 2016, 04:30:57 PM
It is something really new and I never heard about +EV idea being a successful. Both for owner and for players.
You want to monetize your VIP packages and ads (I noticed that you can't play unless you disable your adblock).
Is there any way to control/check fairness of the games?
If you want to check anything, just ask the community Smiley I'm sure they'll welcome you and explain you how stuff works.
It's better that way than me telling you stuff from my POV, as the owner/admin of the site
2198  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice. x100 rolls earn you lottery tickets. 0.02% House edge. on: October 01, 2016, 04:30:04 PM
I can't reveal the math on the wheel, no one would reveal it, but it's -positive- for the users. I don't want to give away the formulas of my site, that's all.
Well, the lottery is a bonus. House edge on the dice is 0.02%, which is the lowest in the entire industry.
But you should understand the skepticism, right? I know that this is a faucet website and you don't deposit bitcoins into here, but a +ev edge for players definitely can't be maintained, especially since every person starts off with a hard limit of the lowest bet (the more a player bets, the more they win)

However, I don't doubt that few people would want to sit there grinding out those 1 satoshi bets. Good luck with the project, but I'll still keep my doubts until I see the math. I mean, even though it's not deposited funds, it still takes time to generate for players, and if the games aren't provably fair, then what of it?

The animations might add that delay for you, however. (Maybe add a payment option to make a simplified version? Wink )
Site's running on ads. That's how I maintain it. I've got other monetization options in there.
Site's been online since January 5th. Even after the adsense ban it's strong. Might be stronger than even before Smiley

People don't "grind 1 satoshi bets". They can get 100-350k from the offerwall and play the games and increase their winnings and simply withdraw ;p
2199  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice. x100 rolls earn you lottery tickets. 0.02% House edge. on: October 01, 2016, 04:14:16 PM
Ok, I understand that House Edge of your Dice is 0.02% BTW, how can you maintain it? It is temp promo or something?
But how about other games?
I can maintain it simply.

I don't allow deposits, but the site has a lot of stuff where you can earn bitcoin from.
You get tipped, there's hourly "rains" in chat, where you can get lots of btc hourly.
Lottery is a new addition.

You can also buy a "auto play" feature and "bot" the minus HE games and make a profit and play dice, lottery or even withdraw. (This is the "deposit"). It costs 0.025 btc per month. If you play on positive user edge games you can simply get more btc.
The higher level you have, the more you can bet/make.

(Not a HYIP/Investment site). It's simply a "VIP" package where you unlock a lot of cool stuff, including auto bets.
2200  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice. x100 rolls earn you lottery tickets. 0.02% House edge. on: October 01, 2016, 04:04:22 PM
the biggest question here is that do they have any kind of faucet or free giveaways for people to try them out first?

because i have never heard about it before in my life!
Yes. One more thing:

Slots, wheel and plinko are rigged to favor the user and not the house.

What is the math on Wheel? How much does the jackpot pay, and what are the chances of landing on each spot? (Because if it were equal, then you would be unable to pay out the users, quite simply.)

How much is the player edge? (And is it the lottery tickets that create the +ev for the player or the games intrinsically?)

I can't reveal the math on the wheel, no one would reveal it, but it's -positive- for the users. I don't want to give away the formulas of my site, that's all.
Well, the lottery is a bonus. House edge on the dice is 0.02%, which is the lowest in the entire industry.
