I have a question/suggestion though : if I were you, I would not use a USB stick to run SimpleMiningOS from. I've had some troubles with low quality USB sticks : their lifespan seems quite low. Wouldn't it better to run it with the SSD ?

You need to know that 4Gb models are less efficient tan 8Gb models : you should already be happy to reach 29MHs I think you should stop here

If you have free electricity, you can do just like me : try to find some second-hand R9 290 as they will be cheap and their hashrate is great (but you already know that )

1000W is not enough, for sure
